Sea Wheeze 2014 Speed Short Photos (Updated)

Thanks to Ms. A. for this photo.

Thanks to Ms. J. for this photo.

Photo of the 2014 Sea Wheeze registration shorts. These are the Speed shorts. The print is a 3D one and they come with their own reversible pouch and a pair of 3D glasses to pop the print. They are 2-way stretch. I really like how dynamic these are. Thanks to Ms. K. for all but the top two photos. Ms. K. lives in Vancouver so that is why she got them so early.

The Sea Wheeze Facebook page posted this hint today.

This hint about the men's pattern was posted on the Sea Wheeze Twitter feed. (Thanks to Mr. E. for the heads up on this.)

More photos:

If you have some 3D glasses at home and click on the photos to get a larger version you can really see how the 3D pops the zig zag stripes.

Yuk..... they can keep their crap... for the most part i've moved on i doubt they will ever be "the brand" again!!!!!

It gave me unpleasant optical delusion. The designer was high.

oh! wow! I totally disagree... I think those are the cutest shorts ever! Good job Lulu! I think they are great.

They look like a Mara Hoffman design which gets two thumbs up from me! I wish I could buy a pair.

I love these! They look kick ass! I wish more prints like this are made available for general public

Anon at 1:06, you will probably be able to buy them on eBay soon. I think this pattern is going to be divisive - I think some people (like me) will LOVE it and some will not and want to sell it. And there are certainly people who are paying their race fees by selling their clothes, so they would sell regardless. I am thinking I might buy a pair of the speeds, because I bought the trackers, thinking the print would be a plaid and I'd like it better in trackers. Now, I think I prefer the speeds. Would like to see both to compare

Super cute. Love it! Looks like a trippy psychedelic pattern :)

So glad My SIL's and I decided to not do Sea Wheeze this year! Those shorts look like an Ivivva print! Don't think my almost 50 year old butt could quite pull that off!

When I got the preview yesterday, I thought I'd hate them... but I'm LOVING these. Can't wait to get my pair. My husband is running too, wonder how they'll look in the men's style.

I do think they're cute and different. It's a little weird having eyeballs in the inside of your briefs, though. Ha! Can't wait to get mine. Thanks for posting!

I love this pattern and I'm kinda happy that people are not loving it. Maybe just maybe I can get a pair and not have to sell my first born.

LuluAddict, I saw the pair that is listed for $300!! I added it to my watch list because I am curious to see if (and when) anyone buys them!

Oh no way, these are good! I like them. They've come a long way since the ladies naked seam boxer short polka dots of SW year 1.

There is a pair of the men's shorts on eBay now too - bids starting at $90US.

I definitely like the women's pattern better than the men's, but I am unsure as to whether my eyes will be able to take it. I am waiting until they arrive in person to decide. What I can't do is imagine hundreds of people wearing them without me having a serious migraine.

I like the designs a lot, I think they are edgy and unique. very cool of lulu lemon to be pushing the design limits.

Definitely bitterly dissapointed that Lu Lu lemon can cater to Small and XS and the largest size they have is a 12 which is considered XL!!!! OMG REALLY?
OK so on top of all that- yup they ran out of size 12 OMG REALLY AN XL shorts in 36 minutes.. My reply from the service center was I could exchange in August if there is anything available. I asked if they could reorder and get some more in the size 12 and the answer was no. Yeah right they are sold out, you can't reorder and I should exchange them. I guess I have to hope someone returns a pair because they are to big!!!! I have been in supply chain, materials and retail mgt and manufacturing for 25 years. ANyone want to hire me to fill this gap you can't manage?
