Those burlap wuc/pants have to be the ugliest ever! Most unflattering.
I agree, I am not feel'n burlap anything.
Has anyone ordered the High Times in fatigue? I REALLY love this color, but have been gun shy about ordering for fear of sheerness and sweat (although I am not a heavy sweater).
Agreed Anonymous @ 7:34 am - so so bad I can't even look at these photos.
The Go Go V looks great on her! The sleeves look much shorter than the pics on the lulu site but they don't look rolled up on her either.
Not to be negative but the clothes look uncomfortable in this series. The burlap is oddly unflattering.
Awww, come on. Can we please review the clothes and not the models. Wow, comments like these are very disheartening. Women should be supporting each other not tearing each other apart. Have a heart ladies.
Have the crop CRB's been uploaded yet? Was the price adjusted for less material? LOL
phibetafit I have to disagree, the ladies all look great in the pictures above. the high time crop looks like a nice all around pair of crops.
M
Hate to agree, but the burlap fabric just does not flatter these ladies' curves. The fabric is shiny in person and not at all appealing to me.
I stopped by the SF Union Street store yesterday and scooped up a pair of the Cadet Super Stripe Wunder Unders. Love the denim fabric in this stripe! They had just unpacked 2 pairs in each size. Not sure I am keeping them, they might be too hot for working out. But for street wear or winter months, they will be awesome.
eek, is it just me or are the burlap WU totally giving all these girls camel toe?? I think it's the sharp color contrast on the stitching... :(
@ anon 10:35 am - that was one of my problems with the burlap. The dark crotch stitching and the fact the pattern adds shadows to areas where the body "creases" naturally so it can draw attention to the whole crotchetorial area in the wrong pose.
Burlap - horrible, and why would you name it burlap. It's not a "dis" to the models, but it is not flattering.
High Times - if you're the model in the picture, everything would look good on you, dear. Looks a little bit risqué for me to wear,
That girl is ROCKING the WU in Fatigue Green(?)...wow. Love her in that crop, too.
Ha ha ha!!! Love "crotchetorial area"!!!
quite being so damned sensitive if someone is critical chill out so what no one was rude???? where did you get that anyway???? just bashing the fabric and saying its unflatttering which it is!!!!!!! so sick of these people that get bent so easily its stange hate people like that too!!!!!!!Burlap Bites Butts makes them ugly PERIOD!!!
I liked the idea of this burlap pattern until I saw them in person. I agree that they are too shiny.
I don't think any of these ladies look terrible in the burlap pattern (ct issues aside, which makes one too self conscious). I do not think this is the worst print LLL has ever come up with - there have been far worse. At least burlap has a classic look to it. I think it's better in the WU versus the Inpire crop.
Over-punctuating frightens me!!!!
High times and burlap... The tale of two cities. One works, one does not. Period. And, let's be honest... The models do make a difference. It's knowing how to wear, I would not post a pic of myself in burlap.
The dune and pink stripes on the forme is super cute I think but I wish it was on another jacket style. Just cannot seem to get into the formes, even at size up sizing they seem to give everyone bulging back fat, not a good look!
I got my High Times in an 8 and I'm not necessarily small, but I think it's good to remember that the models are showing the High Times with crop tops... with a normal CRB they are the most flattering LLL pants I own (in soot)! I want these in every color, the ankles and waist are very flattering
The high times crop is unbelievable! Full on Luon and extremely compressive! I'm between 6-8 and the 8 compresses nicely. Absolutely no sheerness, and the fabric doesn't seem like it'll pile!
Beware of the high times crops, the model is drop dead gorgeous and pulls it off. At the very least, I would NEVER wear them with a crop top (unless you're the model in the pic). Also, while they are not sheer, you can clearly see her panties triangle in the front pics. I guess that happens with any lighter color bottom, but on a sunny day (as it seems when the pictures were taken) you can show a lot more than you realize. I was wearing a very sexy pair of side string tie g strings when i tried on some pairs of WUC's at the store and on most black pairs you couldn't even tell! on the soot color, no matter what you were, you might be ok in the back but up front it's going to show.
