I saw those skirts in the store this morning. They are cute. The duffel bag is awesome--wish I needed one. Also, Bruised Berry items are starting to show up. I picked up a BB Forme jacket. It is such a pretty purple, and I would love a solid CRB in it as well!
LLA can you tell me if the waterbound bra fit you true to size? I am literally between two sizes, one being a bit too tight and one being a bit too loose in the burlap and cannot decide which to go with. I would think tighter's better in case they loosen in the water but the smaller size really compresses my bust, a bit too much!
Are these available is US stores yet?
I don't own a running skirt (wear speed shorts in nice weather) but for the first time ever, I'm interested in the way of the Pace Rival Skirt in the purple/aqua version. I saw the wafs Blue Tropics CRB in store today and didn't jump on it. I can live without that one. It felt nice and I love wafs (and my cashew black one + WU's in particular), but am going to pass on the BT version. I can probably live without the wafs BT WU too, whenever they come out.
The pieced Pace Rival looks great in person...4 way stretch. The big question for me...which of these Pace Rival colorways, if any, will be offered in Tall?
Anon @ 3:36 PM - I was between sizes in the burlap bra as well. I ordered my usual 6 and it kind of puckered where the solid black "V" is in the front and the straps were too long. I ordered a 4 and another 6. The 4 was way too tight in the front and gave me back fat... I tried on the second size 6 I ordered and it fit perfect! I would suggest ordering several of your desired size or go to the store and try on different bras in the same size. I'm getting tired of all the inconsistent sizing lately...
I tried on the striped pace rival today and the striped undershorts showed thru the light blue color at the top of the skirt. It made it look like you were wearing crazy underwear under the skirt. I did come home with the palm print one though. It was very flattering. My store only had the plain white in tall sizes, which also came home with me.
OT- I was in my store today (Seattle area) and saw forest green Forme jackets
Love the pace rival. And LOVE that aqua/lavender pieced one!!
@ anon 9:09 pm - Ooh!!! Exciting. I'll see if I can find a photo.
@ anon 3:36 pm- The Blue Tropics fits the loosest of the WB bras. That being said, I think the two print version are a snug TTS. I was super aware of the back straps of both the burlap and the wamo camo bras when I first put them on. I was actually able to run in the Burlap one, which was kind of revolutionary to me since I hate jiggle and always run in Ta Ta Tamers. The Burlap one did get a bit looser when it was wet with sweat.I wore the Wamo Camo WB a bit yesterday but had to take it off last night since the straps were pressing into my back but I put it back on today and have been wearing it all day - it seems better so I think it loosened a bit with wear.I think it depends on what you want to wear it for. If you want a bra you can put on and wear all day then I'd go looser. If you want to run in it, then snugger is probably better and count on it being looser when wet with sweat/in the water. You also might want to give the Blue Tropics version a try in the smaller size - that one might feel just right.
Loving the palm print! I want the Marathon crops and speeds in this print! I like the skirt, though I wish they'd come out with more casual wear skirts (like the Rocket skirt but looser - I have a Vitasea(?) one from a few years ago that I love - super soft). I'm tired of the pleated run/tennis-type skirts.I did get the Rocket skirt despite the material feeling more on the thin side. I didn't find it to be transparent (got the camo).
I cannot wait for the return of BRUISED BERRY! I hope they have something I like!Did anyone buy the secret garden crb? I'm really attracted to the print but think I might get sick of it! Does anyone else love it/hate it? I use my crbs for everything! Stairs, cycling, boot camp......rollerblading! I also notice we haven't seen a lot of high impact work out tops. Hope this upload has something good!
I would have bought the pace rival skirt in the black print but Lulu had to go and put a stupid wide black/white jail look print for the shorts underneath. No thanks !
@stylista diva - I love the palm print, too. I am thinking I might get those new shorts and maybe the pace rival skirt, though I really don't need the skirt.
Buy the secret garden crb! Florals are not my thing but it is flattering and pretty!
Oh, I'm so excited! Just purchased the Keep On Running Duffel in eeda margarita cadet blue! I passed on it during the upload, thinking I didn't need it. Plus, I just bought the matte Silver/Gold Flow to Om bag so, well all you gals know what I mean, lol!But since its upload, and its quick disappearance from both online & retail stores, I've been reading about so many people falling for it in the stores and buying it even though they had no current need for a duffel. Well, I don't have a fun overnight bag for weekend trips & such, so I've been regretting it ever since passing on it.This morning I was cruising the site and saw it was available again, so I snagged it! I figure if I don't just love it I can always send it back! Cheers, ya'll!;)
See, to each their own. I really love the leaf print of that pacesetter skirt, but I feel those large graphic b/w stripes are going to make our legs look large beneath what's supposed to be a fun/kicky skirt... And I'm a straight size 4 in all things LLL, so it's not like looking large is usually a concern for me...but I'm def thinking it looking at these pics b/c I'm on a bike often in the spring / summer...
Wow this could be my first run skirt in a long time, the striped pace rival looks good on the pictures. I love the entire outfit of the girl on the right in the first picture.
I like those run skirts in palm alot.... i won't buy them because i know i would never wear them though.
