I don't wear speeds but LOVE!!!!!
That has got to be the worst placement of a leaf I've seen in a long time! It looks like it would be coming sout of the derriere. Oh my. I usually jump on lulu's prints but I'm really not a fan of this one for some reason. To each their own, I guess.
Not for me.
Please stop with the plants! They are not becoming! I am losing my admiration for this company
I sure am saving a lot of money lately!!!
Are you familiar with the 50 Rep Bra? I love the Energy Bra but that is about it. Do you know if they fir similar? Went to my store to try it on today but they don't have it which means I'll need to order it.Thanks!
I love it!
Dammit, I just bought the bruised berry but I love these too. How many speed shorts is too many? I have 8 but I do live in FL and wear them nearly every day to work out and also to the beach or park on the weekends. So 9 wouldn't be THAT crazy, right? lol
Come to think of it, that leaf would look funny placed in the front too...but I like the print!
LOVE them!! Will just need to pick those out in person. I had ordered the brisk bloom shorts and ended up with a rose directly on each butt cheek....looked ridiculous.
I'm loving the curious jungle print. Bring it on. It's a great summer hot house flower.
Anon @ 1233 - HAHA! These just look cheap to me.....
I love my secret garden speeds but these....not so much. I'm trying to stay away from accumulating too many prints. I remember one year (1998 maybe?) when I racked up a whole closet full of florals and then by the following year, they looked totally dated. This latest avalanche of florals from Lulu is reminding me of that era. And, while I really love florals, I don't want a drawerful of regret next summer. Granted, I am a little shallow this way. Wish I didn't care, but I do. If you are not as fickle then by all means grab all the floral stuff while you can! Next year the trend may be the polar opposite, like heathered earthtones or something.
Not doing it for me. Prefer the Secret Garden speeds - so bummed they were in my shopping cart on WMTM this AM when they sold out. But maybe it was God reminding me that three pair of speeds is sufficient! I would love just a plain inkwell. NO quilting, no contrast bottom seam.
@ anon 2:48 pm - lol on the drawerful of regret. I have the Secret Garden Tracker II shorts and love them but am not feeling this print. However, the Pretty Palm Run Times shorts I ordered on Monday have arrived. To keep or not to keep? I like the style but not sure if the print is a classic one that won't look dated in a year or two.
anon@12:27pmimho you can never have too many speed shorts! I run in them, play in them, lounge in them and sleep in them. The speeds are so versatile.I am a speed short addict. Your comment made me go count. I have 25 speeds, plus 1 each of 4 other short styles. Total, an embarrassing 29 lulu shorts. It's hard to part with any of them.
Jesus take the wheel. I need those shorts!
@ anon 4:10 pm - the run shorts are addicting. I have 9 pairs so far.
I do not care for this print (and that's a good thing, see below). It already looks dated. I also agree that floral and some other prints can date themselves very easily. I try to keep my LLL pretty classic. As for speed shorts...I currently have 8 and I thought that was bad. I am a hard core runner though so they've been justified as I like to rotate my gear to prolong its life, plus I don't always want to be in the same shorts/outfit (surely many of us are like this). I am going to sell 4 locally though since I no longer wear them. I have previously sold or given away pairs too.
Ooh, thanks for the info on the Turbo Runs. I know they were a favorite with a lot of people.
Are these 2-way or 4-way stretch ? Will need to see these in store but probably pass for me. Haven't bought anything for many weeks now. So many things in WMTM.... stuff is not selling out as fast as before.
