I'm not usually one for matchy matchy but I love this look! I had bought this top on upload night but had no interest in the burlap bottoms. Now this makes me want the burlap bottoms to go with it!

Got the burlap crops today. Gotta say I was not a fan at all when I first saw them, thought they were boring. But the more I see them worn the more flattering I find them- especially on the butt! Also more functionally cute than a busier print. they are ridiculously soft, one touch and had to have them. They run very small though

I wonder if LLL had supply chain issues beyond what they disclosed in their Q4 results?
It seems odd that we are getting so many heavy fabrics, full length pants and long sleeved shirts in May. Also, I have to say that for me LLL fell off the wagon again. :( I am not liking anything!!!
I would love a new pair of Mod Moves crops, though. Fingers crossed they return, but I'm not holding my breath. I was in a local store today and the store manager said she hadn't heard anything about them. I think they appeared at least by this point last year.
My Mod Moves have been loved to death. I am a distance runner, and I love the side pockets for my phone. The length also hits in the right spot on my legs, and the fabric is so light and cool.
If anyone has a NWT or EUC pair in size 4 to sell, please post here! :)

On a separate note, did you guys see the legal issues for the new men's brand on the LLL facebook page? Apparently LLL is not allowing their manufacturer to ship product made for a new men's start up, and they're being kind of shady about it. It's interesting. I bet it's copyright or confusingly similar issues. The shirts look a LOT like the men's version of Swiftlys.

Last, thank you LLA for all your work on this blog! :)

@ anon 5:08 pm - It almost seems they are blending the seasons more. I'm not sure if it supply chain or has to do with Australia/NZ, etc.

Interesting about the legal thing, I'll have to look at it.

Just caught up on the Kickstarter/ Y-athletics /Tefron/Lulu legal thing. Swiftlys used to be made in Israel by Tefron. Watching the video the material looks just like Swiftly material.

@ anon 5:08 pm - lulumum tells me that lululemon purchased the intellectual property for x-static/silverescent fabric technology last year. That is why the factory capitulated to their letter. It is the one fabric they own the technology for.

LLL is an international company. It's not summer everywhere in the world. Besides I'm in the Midwest and I'm still wearing my forme jackets and LS's

I'm Anon 5:08. Thanks for the info, LLA.
I wonder why the factory agreed to manufacture for Y-athletics, then? Surely they knew it was proprietary to LLL? I do feel bad for the Y guys, but at the same time, come on-- they're making pretty much exactly the same shirt! I'm not sure I can take their side when they're ripping off so much- the fabric technology, the vents, the shaping (I don't know how to say it...I mean the seams, etc.) and even the little sayings on the inside hem. It's a bit much.

Hey anon 5:08, the manager at my store said they would be getting mod moves crops in again this year....so, my fingers are crossed the intel is good and we will see them sometime soon!!

@ anon 5:08 pm - Y athletics' problem is definitely with the manufacturer. I don't even know why they are dragging lululemon's name into it. Tefron is the one who voided the contract. They should post their legal letter to Tefron. Maybe Tefron -and also maybe Y Athletics - thought they could get away with it. I would not be at all surprised if that was the case.

The product is a total dupe and they pretty much admit it in the third sentence of that legal letter when they say they checked with Tefron first because they knew they used to work with lululemon. I don't even understand how their supporters can go on the lululemon website and complain to them. Their product is a ripoff of all aspects lululemon's design, including heathering.

Anon 5:08--I too have been waiting for Mod Moves Crop but find Athleta's Be Free Knicker an excellent--maybe better--replacement. Fabric is very lightweight & the softest fabric I've ever experienced in a running tight. Plus compressive & flattering. There are side pockets that I find better placed than Lulu's. They sit high on the hip instead of down on the thighs so it not only looks better (no bulging thigh area) but I can get to my gels & things easier than in Lulus, where I have to dig around for a bit. I wear them for my long distance runs & love them.

@ Jennifer - thanks for the heads up on the Athleta crops! I wanted to check out another kind of crop for spinning other then the Run Insires (I love the mesh vents in the knees) and haven't found any other crops that work from LLL. I'm going to give those a try, appreciate it!

@Jennifer- this is Anon 5:08. I am hoping that @Anon7:06's intel is better than mine- fingers crossed. I will check out the Be Free knickers. I haven't loved Athleta's running tights because I find the fabric to be a lot heavier. I LOVE Luxtreme. It is so light and dries like a dream. Are the Be Free's lighter than Athleta's standard fare? Also I find the waistbands in Athleta's run tights to be thick and clunky. However, I have a racerback Chi top from them with stripes that I LOVE. It's super light and airy, and it's loose around my hips so it doesn't ride up during a run. I find that Swiftly tanks are up around my belly button right out of the gate. :p
Thank you all!

those Y athletic tops are exactly the lulu swiftly, how un original.
the nike run store also has shirts that are a rip off of the swiftly tops except that they use polyester in their fabrics.

@jennifer--thanks for the heads up. I've been looking for an alternative just to mix things up a bit...I need to stop being a walking head to toe advertisement for lulu!
