Hot Hitter Skort and More

Hot Hitter Polo and Skort.

Om Me Home Jacket and Club Dress.

Pow and Clear Mint Swiftlys with Secret Garden. Speaking of matching items to Secret Garden I got my upload order yesterday. I had ordered the Secret Garden Energy bra, Pow 105F Singlet and the Cashew WAFS Power Y and CRB. I think out of all the items I am only keeping the Secret Garden Energy bra. The Pow 105F Singlet is a bit sheer - I can see the Secret Garden print on my bra through  it. I also really like Angel Blue best paired with this print. The Pow paired with all the roses seems like pink overload. I have first run Angel Blue 105F from the first run of the tank but I may look into getting an Angel Swiftly tank, though I wish they were solid and not heathered. As for the Cashew WAFS CRB and Power Y, the CRB is super soft and nicely thick. I do like the print but the grays and blacks make me think more of fall than summer so not sure if I will keep it. I'm on the fence about it now. The Power Y is nicely thick but I like the CRB better in the print.

This year's version of the hot hitter skirt seems to be kind of...baggy looking? I recall that skirt being sleeker before, wasn't it? although I didn't buy it last year, maybe I had the same opinion then!

Yes I love the cashew but not a lot that goes with it and it does seem like a fall thing. But I'm a redhead so a sucker for something with brown in it. I'm fairly new to lulu and am loving the cashew and fatigue. I've always thought browns and greens are some if my most complimentary colors.
Thanks again for all the time you put in here. Lots of stuff I see doesn't interest me till I see a few pics of it here on real people. Good job ( but not so good for the bank acct!)

I found this ebay-er selling these as speed shorts but they do not have the venting in the back. I want to make sure they are real before bidding. Do you recognize this colorway?

I went to the store last night, got the angel blue 105F singlet tank, Secret Garden FTB bra and the Inspire crop II, I have to say I liked the print much better in the real life. I totally agree that angel blue match well with that pattern. Also looking forward getting the roll down black Camo WU crops, if anyone is more interested in regular black Camo WU crops, please let me know. I have a size 4 to give up.

@ anon 9:10 am - I suspect they aren't speeds but they do look fairly old - I'd say 4-5 years, at least.

@ LuluAddict The closest style I could come up with was that they are ultra shorts but still nothin' when I googled it. I paid $45. Hope it was worth it considering how old they are...

OT - LLM, why do you prefer the 105F Singlet to the Flash Singlet? I would have thought, since you don't like huge armholes, you'd like the Flash one better.

I was very excited that my local store got a big stock of the Secret Garden Run Inspires so went to try them on today. I was then very disappointed to find that they felt uncomfortably stiff, particularly behind the knees when I bent my knees.

I realize they don't have the mesh behind the knees like standard Inspires. But I have the Vintage Pink/Soot/GBlack microstripe which are All Luxtreme Inspires with no mesh and find them to be very comfortable. I tried them on in my normal Inspire size. They did not have a pair in the size up for me to try for comparison. So I left them at the store.

I do like them a lot with the Angel Blue 105F singlet. But some pairs seem to have more visible blue in the pattern than others based upon the pattern placement.

I have an H&M deep peacock blue tank I wear with my Secret Garden Top Speed bra and it looks awesome. Really catches the blue behind the roses.

LLL must have overbought the SG fabric, it's becoming overkill. I did buy the CRB, that is enough of the pattern I can take.

I agree Angel Blue is dynamite with Secret Garden. I'm not a "girls girl," but those SG speeds look waaaay hot on with my black Here to There top & my Angel Blue Lift & Separate peeking out the back.

I purchased both tops in the WAFS black/cashew combo and was not too thrilled until they arrived. I'm in love! The CRB is definitely a keeper! Power Y is nice but I will get more use out of the CRB

OT, but need help from one of our Australian Angels!
Are there any out there?

Will the tennis capsule be available online?

@ anon 10:05 am - I don't care for the material of the In a Flash - it's that ultra swift and the 105F is sheer luon. I like the 105Fs a lot but not for running. I don't mind big armholes when I wear Energy or All Sport bras under them but I won't wear a big armhole tank with a Ta Ta Tamer because they look too much like a real bra and not a sports bra and it just doesn't look right.

Heya — to the one who posted the pic of the shorts. I have a pair of those in a different colour. They were sold probably five years ago. Maybe four. And they were called speeds at the time, though they subsequently revised considerably the design. I found them to be really short. I prefer the redesign, for what it's worth, but the pic you posted seems genuine to me.

I bought the black camo crops in store today (Calgary). I like them!

I was so hoping to catch the Hot Hitter Skirt in black, which I missed last year. This new rendition in a skort does not look anything like the Hot Hitter from LY. Wonder why they used the same name.

Will try it on in the stores...hopefully it will come in black.

There are no words for the dress. Ick.

@ 9:10 AM, LLA is correct, they're quite old and technically not speeds. I had a pair of those, totally forget the name, but it was I guess an early incarnation of the speed short. I gave them away to a friend a couple of years ago for a tough mudder (since your clothes can basically get ruined).

Nothing goes with wafs cashew? It's a pretty classic colour combo that for me, doesn't need to be paired with brights. I love how versatile both the CRB and the WU crops are. I also think this colour combo/pattern will be pretty enduring and will not look dated even as years go by. That's just my opinion and why I'm glad to have them.

As somebody that got into LLL only this year I'm finding that I'm buying second hand more often than in the store :/ I wish they'd bring cute, simple patterns back like parallel stripe. I don't want to be too show-y in my classes. I agree Secret Garden looks nice in person but this is serious pattern overload!

I tired on the Hot Hitter Skort (or should I say NOT HITTER) and it made me look frumpy and like I had the fattest thighs on earth ( I am a sz 4). It looked cute enough on the hangar but was totally FUG on! I am so over Secret Garden.

Anon@9:10, they look like ultra shorts. I have a black pair with a striped waistband like that, and they have redish/pink trim on the legs and a pair of coal striped (same color as those shorts) with a coal waistband and lime green trim. They were some of the first things I bought from Lulu (those and the brisk armwarmers with cuffins--wish they still made the armwarmers!)

And what the heck, was there a big fire sale on that SG print? #TooMuchAlready!!

@9:00AM and @5:04PM

I LOVE my wafs cashew wunder under pants... however I have to agree that it goes with less colors, coming from a brand of color.

WAFS Cashew is a classic color combo that will never be out of style.

I think it will look best with black or charcoal, browns, tans, creams. WRT color (non-neutral), I think it's a tough match.

Believe it or not, I don't have a black jacket (I'll be getting the Dance Studio Jacket shortly).
