Burlap Inspires and More

First photos of the new Burlap Texture Inspire crops, paired with a Blue Tropics scoop neck Swiftly LS. I am not loving them in these photos. Maybe they need to be paired with another color top but so far not that excited about them.

New Swiftly tank colors. I believe the bottom one is Bleached Coral and the top is Heathered Blue Tropic but am not sure about the middle one. I could be Heathered Vintage Pink.

More of the latest Swiftly colors.

Photos of the Club Short and Hot Hitter Polo.

The Cool Racerback crop shown with Skinny Will pant and new pineapple Print Wunder Unders.

Heathered Medium Gray 105F Singlet, Blue Tropics Wee Space Flow Y, and In the Flow Crops.

Solo Bra and In the Flow Crops. The bottom photo also shows the Ujjayi bra.

Shown with a Pretty Purple Muscle Shirt

I was feeling sad I didn't pick up the Burlap inspires, but after these photos I feel better; thanks LLA! They seem a little unflattering and definitely don't match that surge color.

I've been disappointed in my first swiftly tank due to it riding up constantly when I'm running. Also want to say I love the 4-way speeds but not with the contrasting seaming. It cuts the visual length of the leg and makes it harder to match with other tops.

Sorry for this to be a rant. I want to spend money but Lulu you're not quite getting it for me!

Yikes the burlap inspires don't look at all flattering. Maybe the color is better in person? They seem like a pant that may only work well with a black top. Zzzzzz. I agree that the cropped racer back at $42 is ludicrous but am kinda surprised that no one has mentioned that the 'not at all supportive' solo bra is $52. I like it but refuse to spend $52 on what can barely even be described as a bra. Anyone know what the waistband of the blue tropics speeds is? I'm also so glad that the LS swiftly isn't ruched again!

@ anon 3:01 - the contrast seaming on the Speeds looks sharp when paired with the matching colored top but, you are right, it's very limiting. The waistband looks like a wee space or wee stripe pattern to me. I haven't seen a close up yet, though.

My Burlap Inspires arrived today, but I haven't tried them on yet. The print looks different than I expected, and I don't feel very optimistic after seeing these photos. Also, I'm not a fan of the high polyester content in the printed Luxtreme, though I could tolerate it for an awesome print. That said, the Burlap pair will probably go back (as if I needed another pair of Inspires anyway).

I still like the look of the burlap Inspires and I'm glad I ordered them! Or maybe they just look good to me because I've hated most everything else Lulu has put out lately.

Totally agree about the burlap inspires! I wasn't too keen on them from the upload photos and now I like them even less. I don't like that they seem to have a sliver sheen to them - very 70s disco, which is not what I'm going for in workout clothes. Also, the material looks worn out. Some may like that effect, but I like my $90 workout pants to look new, at least for a little while. Finally, they seem like they will highlight any problem areas, whereas the SG inspires seem to hide flaws and flatter everyone I've seen so far.

Those blue tropic in the flows are calling my name though. I already have 6 pair of in the flows so I didn't order on Monday; now I am kicking myself! Ordered the camo roll downs instead. Hope I at least love them when they arrive.

I thought the waist band on the speeds looked kind of like the burlap print... but like others, I'm really not liking the burlap inspires. Too bad, I ordered them, and might return them. I've only returned one other non-bra item to lululemon ever! Hoping I like them better in person but I don't know...

Love Heathered Blue Tropic though :)

@ anon 3:35 pm - Ahh, I bet you are right and it's the burlap print on the waistband.

@ anon 3:29 pm - Yes, I am worried the sheen on them is going to highlight all my flaws. I think the sheen is partly due to the full on luxtreme fabric. The petite fleur print inspires were a bit shiny, too.

I got the burlap inspires and they're just kind of meh in person. They do run the same as the secret garden print as far as size goes... I got my usual 4 in both.

I bought the ls tonka blue tropics swiftly today and it's a beautiful color. It's a bit more green than I thought it would be from the first pics I saw yesterday. I was hoping it would match that pretty bright blue shade in the secret garden print but it doesn't.

Eeek is that a new black tote bag? (In the 5 pic combo)

I just tried my burlap Inspires on and I don't care for them. They are definitely going back! They are kind of blah!

The burlap inspires were at an Ontario store today so I got my friend to grab them. I was just excited because we didn't get them on the upload here in Canada. Excited to try them on anyways :) they also got the roll down camo WUC but only had 8's left. The girls said they flew off the shelves. Also picked up the new WAFS power Y bra (never bought one of these before...I'm a FTB bar lover, so I'll see tomorrow when I try it on). I'm also waiting for my pigment blue inspires which I got online Mon night. I was excited to be going to the US this wknd to check out the new Walden store but sadly I'm too early and then I thought ill just go to the showroom instead...but that closed earlier this week! double boo!! So looks like I'll just be visiting the Can outlet instead on the way there. There was some nice stuff there last time I visited. Fingers crossed :)

The Blue Tropics crops with the silver Solo Bra outfit is screaming my name... WANT!

I had the chance to get the burlap inspires and passed bc I thought they might be unflattering. Glad I did!

Look at those first few photos and notice the steps the girl is running up. Steps look exactly like the recent lululemon granite print, eh?

@Anon 2:57pm, DITTO your comments re: all these speeds w/contrasting stitching. Ugh. Loved both rad plaid combos, loved the Secret Garden combo ... But otherwise I'm not into the speeds this season. If I needed more I'd just be buying solid black-at least it'd go with everything & look sharp.

I get a little tired of people complaining about low-support and/or low-coverage bras. Ummm, some of us are small-chested (A-cup here) and still want to wear cute bras. I can't wear Ta-ta Tamers (nor do I need to), because they don't make my size. I thought the Lift & Separate bra was cute, but again, it didn't come in my size. Some of us just want something cute that offers a little coverage - there are always other options for those who have larger chests.

I love the burlap inspires and I think they look good with the blue tropic colour. In fact I think many colours will look absolutely amazing with them because the crops are neutral.

anon 8:38... I concur ladies w/ big boobies have the ta ta tamer and i don't bash on that i too don't really need much support but want something cute sometimes. Lady about the swiftly riding up..... you need to size up then it won't its a tricky design really i am size 4 up top but get size 6 in this even though my hips only measure 36 it gives me an extra inch so it lays down long low hip length and doesn't ride up; yet up top its a bit big but that is fine! so if you are super picky about the top being fitted then most likely this top is not for you!

Anon 8:38: I'm a B cup. The truth is that we have a lot more options to choose from when it comes to Lulu bras than our bigger-chested brethren. We can also wear most of the bras that were designed to offer more support, but they can't wear most of the bras Lululemon has to offer. For athletic activities, proper support is a must for anyone bigger than a tea cup, errr..a B cup. Is it any wonder they complain? They deserve the cute bras we get, but the designs should include comfort, support and coverage for bigger cup sizes!

Just judging from the pictures of the burlap inspires, I like the pattern, it's something different. But with a high poly content and no mesh on the back of the legs, what's the point in buying them?

@anon 8:20 interesting! I'm glad I read this tonight. I wore my first swiftly tank to run 3 miles and do about an hour of lifting and was so frustrated with how baggy the 6 was. I loved the weight and everything else about it but swore I'd go back tou typical 4 next time. But I didn't have an issues with riding up today at all .. Now I wonder if it would be an issue in the 4... I'm a fairly loose 4 in the CRB. Only got a 6 bc the color I wanted only came in a 6 in my store.. Hmm something to think about. I have a 6 in a LS which doesn't bother me bc I only run in it but having such a delicate fabric be so baggy makes me nervous that it'll catch on things easier...

My goodness, why are some complaining about bras? Not every bra or every LLL clothing item is going to work for every woman. We come in all shapes and sizes and many forms of beauty at that! Obviously the Solo bra is for a light busted woman and if you have bigger girls, it may not work for you. Let me tell you, there are a lot of bras out there that I can't wear because they would just look dumb on me because I can't fill them. Such is life!
