I love the darker pigment blue over the pipe dream blue. If these are offered in US online, it would be hard for me to resist various styles.
How does this compare to the "baroque blue?"
Pigment Blue overload. Reminds me of a Smurf or the Blueberry girl from Willy Wonka.
I love pigment blue. It's definitely my favorite LLL color. Australia got a pigment blue No Limits tank last week that I would be VERY interested in buying - I just have no contacts in Australia! Bummer.
How often do items uploaded for Australia make it to the US' site? How long before they're available to us? I've got my eye on the No Limits Tank in Pigment blue.
Runday Crop in blue is gorgeous.
I'm not too into Pigment but would LOVE a base runner half zip (not hoodie) for North America.
I'm not understanding why they are calling those speed short 'wee are from space' - same with the cap uploaded to the Canadian site??? Doesn't look like any wee space I own.
hi lla - Do you think those Silver Wee speed shorts are 2 or 4 way? thanks
There are a few really cute styles here like the Quick Step Pant which I hope come to Canada because I would love to try them out.
OMG! the quick step pant is back?! i can't wait - i hope we get them here in the US
I really hope the US side gets runday crops again someday soon!!! They are my favorites.
I tried the Lightened up LS on today and while I love the fit and the detail on the back, why does everything have to be so sheer?? Can't a lightweight shirt not be see through? I could see my light gray/pink sports bra easily through it. I went home with the purple/gray one but I'm not sure I'll keep it because of the sheerness.
OT and admittedly snarky, but why on earth do they never do anything with that blonde model's hair? It always looks weird
I'm with you LLA - the North American buyer needs to be buying more appropriately! Australia had the camo stuff for QUITE some time on their website as well as various Runday crops and the Live Natural crops. When things are selling out within 10 minutes of upload here, I have to say our LLL buyer sucks.
Quick Step pant is awesome. Love the ones I have way more than Dance Studio pant.
@stylista diva - I swear I read on the hey lululemon site the buyer for NA was a man, which I don't get at all. I mean, unless you wear the product, how can you know what really functions and what people like/will like. I get they have to make a decision based on sketches but still if you've worn it, you know what really worked the last time it was out. I'm searching right now to see if I can pull up that post again and find out for sure whether the buyer is a guy.
I found the comment on Hey Lululemon I was thinking of. I don't think the guy I was thinking of is the "buyer" per se since his title is Senior VP of US Retail. He goes under "paulz" on heylululemon.

He had commented on the scarcity model:

First, let me say thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback, and I apologize that we haven't jumped in this thread and given you an update. It's a hot topic right now, and is being addressed.
The truth is that the current scarcity you are experiencing in our new product every week is not intentional. I am responsible for our US business, and trust me when I say, i'd love to have much more of the new product to sell. Most of the styles you are seeing blow out in hours online on Monday nights were actually intended to have enough supply to live for 7 to 28 days online and in stores. I promise we find no satisfaction in making you all stay up late or hunt for the product. In fact, one of our operating principles is to respect your time, and I know we aren't doing that well right now. We just didn't anticipate the demand levels we're seeing for our new styles and colors.
We are in action on this big time. You won't see a dramatic change right away. It will take some time. We plan our product "buys" (the quantity we have produced each week months and months in advance, so unfortunately, we aren't able to react as quickly as we'd like on this one.
Thanks again jaders1984 for starting the discussion, and everyone else who commented for taking time to tell us how important this is to you!"
wow if the buyer is a guy big bad mistake!!!! I agree w/ lla they don't know didly squat about us and what we want/like etc. anyways off that topic: why would they put antidote w/ clear mint? Fug imo!!!!
@anon 11:53 - the silver wee speed shorts are 2 way stretch. They're on the Australian website.
@LLA at 5:59 PM that man must have followed your blog and knows exactly what people like :P But really, he doesn't need to know what are hot or not, he only need to monopolize one product and suddenly, it becomes hot. Just like the secret garden pace queen tight, see how people commented how it looks like grandma's sofa and how impossible a pattern to wear, but as soon as it's gone within 30mins after releases, it suddenly became desirable...
I love PIGMENT BLUEs and so bummed that New Zealand and Australia have the No Limits and the Ebb to Street Tanks while we don't! Bwwwaaahhhhh!
Wow, thanks for posting that thread, LLA. i hadn't read that and it's good to know that they're working to improve the situation.
@anon 2:19PM
I just had this discussion with my trainer again today - she does not do any of their products justice whatsoever
@ anon 8:04 pm - lol, I was thinking that about antidote and clear mint, too. I am really bummed there aren't more Antidote items, particularly in the Swiftlys. I used to have a lime Swiftly that I loved but was too big so I sold it. Clear Mint is too watered down for me, especially in the Swiftly material.
I don't see anything wrong with a dude buyer in anyway. I doubt he is the one designing the products or checking what is hot and desirable out there. I also think that lululemon is trying to attract new costumers. They are not just designing this stuff for us hardcore addicts.

Just received my dancing warrior tank in size 4, it's ok, but not my color (grey and mint stripes), if anyone is interested, let me know before next Saturday. erinna126@hotmail.com
Give me those Rundays! That was my first Lulu technical fabric crop and I love them! I have not bought any running crops since March (Race with Graces) because the ones they are offering (Chase Me and Cut the Crops) aren't hitting on anything, IMHO.
I do hope they will come out with them in other colors, as I already have two Baroque blue crops (Inspires and Roll Outs) and I find that pigment blue to be a bit similar.
@2:19pm Don't let the ladies on Facebook hear you talking about that woman's hair ... they will jump all over you! LOL! I wish they would just make a Lulu comb for her and get it over with. I don't know what look she is trying to pull off, but whatever it is, it is a total fail.
yeah lla i agree w/ you again.... clear mint is too watered down good way to put it too. I want some nice saturated lime even more so than antidote which i do like and bought that in the scuba 2 btw. wild lime would be nice in a solid crb please lulu!!!!
