The Latest

More Tuck Me Tank photos. I definitely want to try this on.

Love this combo - Wunder Unders (I think) and a Bali Breeze Energy Bra.

Rulu Forthright Half Zip photos. I'm not sure I love the gathered elastic hem at the bottom but it does look comfy.

The Love Some Run LS.

Heathered Medium Gray Gather and Crow crops and a Fresh Teal Swiftly.

I went to the store today to buy Fatigue Green Studio Pants, which they didn't have yet. Hope they get them. I saw the Tuck Me Tank, looks nice and the bra part was very thick. The Flare CRB had the Lulu sign on the back AND ON THE INSIDE like old times. I hope they start the reverse CRB again... I'm seeing thicker luon all around in items like the CRB & Power Y. Tried on the Forthright, very soft and roomier than other 1/2 zips, but the elastic at the bottom was not my favorite.

Nice photographs. I don't think I like the gathering of the neck and bottom of the forthright top. To bad because it looks like a very nice all around top. That energy bra and WUC are really nice. I will definitely get those if they get uploaded.
What are the shorts in the fatigue color?

Thanks for keeping us up to date LLA

Wondering what people think of the cadet blue in real life- thinking about getting the cadet studios but want to know what color is like- images make it hard to tell.

Have you been banned from shopping because you re-sell what you buy?

The top 2 pics are from a showroom in my area!!! how cool!!!

Does anyone else think the half zip from the bottom thing is weird? I get ventilation but it seems like it would be more effective from the top down.

Where are all the Spring Fling Jackets online??? There were all colours and all sizes and now it's completely gone off the CDN site??

Anonymous said...

Yeah the elastic on the bottom of that top bites, will ride up- super annoying, the stiped color is cute too bad the design team screwed up a top that could have been a good one, that tuck me in thing is hideous!!!!!

I actually may try the Tuck tank - NLT doesn't work for me with a smaller waist and squatters butt, it just always creeps up and stays up. Same with tops that have elastic at the waist.
On a different note, I see some awesome stuff on the Australian site that's hopefully coming to N. America. The Run Wild 1/2 zip looks awesome and the Hottie Hot shorts in camo - love! Thankfully I am not feeling the beach scape print.

Why does Lulu keep making tops with elasticized waists?! Ugh! They ruin perfectly nice tops doing that!

I did get the black Base Runner LS I ordered from WMTM when I got home from work today, so I am digging that! I was in a store yesterday, and the Bali Breeze color is really pretty. I hope something comes out in that color that I need (ha ha!). Cause I never buy Lulu unless I "need" it, lol! ;).

The forthright half zip would have been nice if it was longer and had no gross elastic in the waist. Why do they have to go make a nice stripe like that and not offer it in a better designed item?

Anonymous said...

oh yeah, and gross elastic in the neck too. Boo.

I just bought the cadet blue studio crops and they're more like a purple. The studio pants are the same purple colour, even though it's called "cadet blue". I LOVE this purple blue colour!!!

@ 2:06 regarding the article in business insider. This is ridiculous you think they were Chanel or Louis Vuitton for goodness sake it's polyester made in flipping China. I wear my LLL stuff and get tired of it and its barely worn because I have so MUCH! Hell yes I'm going to try to get a few bucks. They're so greedy....they have a huge markup and sell 95% at full price. Unbelievable, don't they have better things to focus on; like fixing the sheer
Products?

Sooo pretty, kind of purple blue. I bought the Cadet Iconic Wrap and Form Jacket. I have inkwell studios but still want these, totally different color. Not navy IMO.

Sarah: I just received the pacesetter skirt in cadet blue. I really love the color. I think it's a cross between inkwell and deep zinfadel - a slightly purplish blue. I was on the fence when I ordered it but now I'm so glad I got it!

Here's my review for the new Forthright Half Zip.

Bought the heather grey w/ light flash? I LOVE it!

Fabric is rulu so is comfy soft! In the "heathered" yarn, it has an ever-so-slightly different hand to me - one that feels awesome. A little smoother...a little less loft/fuzzy.

I love the elongated zipper...perfect layering piece...it's part sweatshirt in look (elastic bottom) but part shirt. The fabric works both ways.

The two way zipper, while not particularly functional for me on this piece, does add a small detail in that area that compliments and enhances the simple design.

The elastic bottom was just the right in between amount of gathering for me...very subtle. Fades into the background imho. Elastic at top of neck is cute when all zipped up.

The fit is RELAXED and they mean it. I'm 5'6" 125lb 34D. 8 in bra tops/CRB's/body fitting styles, but generally a 6 in everything else. I bought the 6...it seems relaxed. Had I taken an 8, it would have been too big. Now wishing it came in a hoody style.

My gut is that many people will not like the elastic bottom. Give it a try. Had I not seen it live and tried it on, I probably would have passed on it.

Nice surprise.

I bought the cadet blue studio pants. I love them. I prefer a slightly red casted navy...which cadet is. That's the reason I've never been a big fan of inkwell and am thrilled at a different "navy" option.

Cadet blue is also less saturated than inkwell, so it comes off looking slightly greyer/paler than inkwell. I think it's a great navy, especially for spring/summer.

Does anyone's store have the reversible wee stripe gray/black WUC? Size 4?? I'll pay shipping and fees. And your gas money! Please let me know!

My local LLL (Garden State Plaza, NJ) had the Forthright 1/2 zip in-stock in the Bali Breeze stripe, grey, and black. The RULU is very soft & warm -- definitely like "old" RULU and the stripe version colors are so pretty, helping me look beyond this miserable winter, into spring! I am very picky about tops that feel too tight around my neck or sleeves I can't push up while running and was worried about the elastic neck, wrists, and waist of this top. Happy to report that I didn't find anything about this top constricting. In my TTS, with a l/s swiftly layered underneath, the sleeves are perfect in length & not tight at all, and the cuffins are great. Love the 1/2 zip for thermoregulating during a long run. Looking forward to wearing it on a 10 mile outdoor run tomorrow AM!

Are anyone else's WMTM orders still "processing"? I ordered from both Lulu and Ivivva Wednesday night and none of it has shipped yet. Usually it ships Thursday and gets here Saturday. grrrr I want my stuff :(

I bought the forthright 1/2 zip this week and love it. I actually like the gather as it adds something a little different to a top that would otherwise be just like every other run top.

Christabean - I like the option to vent from the bottom. I also have the winter sprinter hoodie that has this option and it allows me to keep my neck warm while still dumping heat from my torso. Useful when running in sub-zero temps!

Where are those top pics from? It looks so beautiful - and warm. I'm on the east coast where we've been under siege from snow and ice for what seems like a very long time...

I like the tuck me tank. I agree that the double zip and the elastic hem on the forthright pullover are not attractive/necessary.

I ordered a pair of Athleta Chaturanga crops this week and unfortunately they are sheer in a not so deep bend. They are identical in fit and style to WUCs. Feel great on and make my butt look great when I'm standing up but they will be going back.

For those ladies who wear Under Armour, can you recommend a good opaque crop from them? I'm on a quest to find another brand whose pants are not sheer and a little bit more reasonably priced. I ordered the pace queen tights and am awaiting their arrival, but $92 for a pair of workout crops is a bit much for me. I have two yoga smoga crops which I love and they are not sheer but they are a little thick. They will be too warm come summer.

Suggestions for other brands are welcome too! Thanks.

OT: Aquamarine goes really well with the new rad plaid tracker shorts!

And, I am hoping to see more items in cadet blue! Right now a cadet blue nice asana jacket would be at the top of my list :)

@ anon - I want to say Santa Barbara or maybe La Jolla, somewhere in California, though.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 5:01 am - I find Under Armours crops are really big in the waist and just slide right down me.

You might want to look into Beyond Yoga. Their crops are pretty decent. Their stuff is super soft.

Anon 10:26 I ordered on Wednesday as well and I called yesterday because I had still not gotten any shipping info. They had a glitch with Fed Ex and their tracking system. He said my order shipped Thursday morning. So I am sure yours has shipped also

Anonymous said...

I had the same problem. I called and there was a FedEx glitch that didn't send out shipping emails. It happend to orders placed on the 5th and 6th. They said my order has shipped and I would be getting email notification Monday or Tuesday.

Has anyone purchased the Forthright 1/2 Zip online on the CDN site? I don't live anywhere near a store, and really want to purchase! Wondering if it didn't drop online at all, or if it has and I have just already missed my chance! :(

@anon 10:26pm - my WMTM order is still processing too!

Does anyone have a Flip Your Dog LS in a 4 they are looking to get rid of?

OT - Is it the norm that stuff will make it to WMTM on markdown but not be marked down in store?
I thought it was just the opposite (stuff that isn't selling in store will get marked down but not necessarily online).

Anonymous said...

@anon 10:26 pm Yes, I ordered an Ebb to Street tank in cornflower Wednesday night on WMTM. It is still showing as processing. I also ordered a GW (Friday I think?) and that order has already shipped. strange..

Anonymous said...

Cool, thanks. I finally got the Ivivva email. Maybe if I'm lucky both will be sitting on my porch when I get home tonight!

My WMTM shipping email came today. I got my order yesterday, lol!

I wore my Speed tech tights to the Seahawks parade under my windproof pants on Wednesday, and they were quite toasty. I also wore them to run in on Thursday night and this a.m. It was 27 degrees this a.m., and I was quite comfy. They really are great for cold weather running. My pique Base Runner was perfect too!

Off topic, but I got a catalogue for Prana in the mail today. Wow, they have some really cute new stuff--I use to think they were too hippy dippy for me, but it looks like they smell blood in the water, and they are stepping up their game! Lulu better watch out. Hubby dumped our stock a couple of weeks ago, and it's gone down since. He thinks he'll buy it again when it goes low enough. I definitely haven't bought much since before Christmas!

They had them yesterday at the store. I'll look again tomorrow and let you know. Tegan.wheeler(at)gmail.com

@ 4:06 PM, sometimes wmtm and in store markdowns match, sometimes they don't. Doesn't necessarily happen at the same time either. I've seen really great stuff in store go to markdown earlier than wmtm, if you see it on wmtm at all. Markdown prices in store can be better than wmtm. I've experienced this and many readers here have as well, based on comments.

If something is marked down in wmtm and still there, but not reduced in store, and you ask your store, they might give the wmtm price (but I don't believe they have to).

I've never tried on studio pants before but I like the look of the khaki ones.. on the site a lot of people have been complaining about the waistband rolling. Does anyone feel this is still going on with the newer colours?

Thanks! Enjoying the luluaddict hive of knowledge!

Anonymous said...

I've noticed that unfortunately it seems more often than not that the WMTM markdowns are not reflected in my store! It's frustrating. I've asked them if they will honor the WMTM price and they won't. Sometimes though if you ask them to ring it up just to check it happens to ring up the same as online which is weird.

I saw the assorted stripe bleached coral CRB for $19 in store yet it is still on the website for full price. I'm guessing it will get marked down online soon and then I'll get one!

stylista diva said...

Thanks @ Anon 9:11am & 3:31am. I did ask in store and they said the price can just differ. I should have asked them to ring it up to see if the item would come up at the WMTM price. The item was sold out in my size online and now it is pulled off (or totally sold out). I'll check the store again today to see if it happened to hit the mark down price AFTER the weekend.

I stopped in at my store today and tried on the Forthright and the Tuck Me. LOVED both. The Forthright is super soft and cozy, and the elastic didn't both me at all, once I had it on. The Bali Breeze striped version is fun, and makes me want spring to come faster. Size down in the Tuck Me if you can - I went for a size smaller than I wear in NLT, and it was flowy and comfortable, but not maternity-like.

i just got my hottie hot skirt. I got the I got the very light flare color. I think it is very similar to flash from 2 seasons ago.
I really like the skirt. Can't wait to try it in the gym. I obviously can't run in it outside at the moment. It is 24F. I thought it would have a pocket on the short, but it doesn't. too bad the bali green is gone in my size.
