Moutain Tank and cotton Roll Down Wunder Under Pant.

Mountain Tank with In the Flow Crops.

Post Sweat Pullover Photos.

The WAFS Vintage Pink Power Y. I thought the color would wash me out since I'm pale but it looks nice on this woman. I'll have to try it on when it hits my store.

Hi, what is the name of the black bra the women with the mountain tank is wearing? Thanks!

More of a question than a comment. . .I'm running my first full marathon in a month (after previously running 5 halves in speed squad skirts and pace setter skirts) I was looking at getting a pair of crops for the full (don't even want to risk leg chafing, which has never been a problem at the half distance, but better safe than sorry). The closest Lulu is an hour away so I wanted to try to get an idea of what I wanted before I got there. Can someone pro-con for me the difference between the Run Inspire Crop and the Cut the Crop. I'm only 5'4", so the rest of the crops would almost be pants on me, those two look to be the shortest of the bunch.

Thanks!
DD

Inspire crops are long. I'm 5'2" and long inseam 30" they go to my ankles.

I also think the pace queen tight looks fine it's got an extra seam compared to the speed tight which most wear a top that covers the waist band.

What's wrong with it? I think the educator looks fantastic in them!! Geez, some people are so damn critical.

@ anon 11:26 - literally LOL'd - I thought the exact same thing! That being said, my backside wouldn't make LLL any money either! :)
So glad for all this stuff that doesn't even make me look twice - my wallet can catch it's breath for a while I hope!
For anyone who's contemplating the Mula Bundle wrap or the Yin to Yang cardi - both on markdown in my local store for $59.

I agree with Anon @11:26. Those pace queen tights are not flattering to her figure at all. The fit is off (nothing wrong with her body, it's the actual fit)

the woman in the pace tights looks really hot. Her bum looks fantastic in those pants. Her legs also look great. I was looking for flaws just because of the comment 11:26 made. My first reaction to the picture was wow nice backside.

I wasn't interested in the yin to yang cardi until it went on sale! Now this is going to be my Saturday morning staple! It looks much cuter in person, I think. Got the teal. It's unique. Can't wait to wear it!!

DD- I am 5'2". I love the Run for Your Life crops. Find them on EBay. I am 113lbs. I wear a size 6. Good Luck!

@danielle - I don't have the cut the crop, but I do like the inspires. However, I'd recommend that you run your longest run in the crops before the marathon. There is still chafing that happens with crops/tights. I am a big fan of running marathons in pacesetters. I just put body glide on just before the race to stave off any possible chafing. Good luck in your race!!

The girl wearing the very light flare top is a great example of what skin tone looks good with that color--very warm toned. I just got my flare CRB in the mail & while it does seem a bit neon, it looks great with my skin tone (very warm with strong yellow undertones).

I wish they would bring back the Run Marathon series! I wore one of my two pairs of Run Marathon crops today for a long run. I was able to stash my Gu's and electrolyte capsules and iPod in the waistband pockets, and my Chomps in one of the leg pockets. They are the best crops Lulu has ever made for distance running--so many pockets and very compressive, lightweight and wicking. The Run Marathon skirt has 7 pockets like the crops, the Run Marathon shorts have 5. I usually wear the skirt and compression calf sleeves when I run a race. Today was chilly and windy, so I wore the crops with compression calf sleeves (which was like wearing very compressive tights).

@anon 11:26 & 12:48-- why don't both of you submit photos of your backside in a pair of crops or pants so we can criticize your figures.

Nice toe pose buy the girl in the flare tank and headband.

I like vintage pink but don't want that tank. Hope they make a CRB.

I don't care for the post sweat pullover in that striped pattern: it reminds me of the carpeting at the office where I work. I also don't care for the Mountain tank. Doesn't do anything for even petite ladies.

Pace Queen tight. I don't think the comment meant criticism of the person. As for the tight, I'd never buy it or that pattern because of the high waist and all the horizontal bands/breaks. Those features though are what some people want.

@ 3:07 PM, agreed the Run Marathon crops are awesome. When they came out I didn't even buy them right away. I got them on markdown in the pattern/color I wanted (black with blue & green wafs waistband) :)

@3:07 I agree on the Run a Marathon series...they need to bring back compression crops with leg pockets and back pocket for phone. Wish they would soon.

Bewildered. I think the tights look great too!

those pace queen tights look off as everyone says because she has a square hip shape, i know because i do too btw. Low rise look better but when i wear higher rises w/ a tight band like this just wear a nice longer length top and your good to go. If you cover the the photo from waist to bottom seam it looks good right? anyhow thats whats going on here.

Can I just vent for a minute about my frustrations with my local lulu? I am so tired of the educators always buying all the new stuff before it hits the floor. I bought the Mountain tank in a size 2 in black online just in case my local store didn't get it. I am an instructor so I would prefer to buy items in the store so I can get my R&D discount. Sure enough I check the store first thing today and the mountain tanks had just been put out. Sure enough the only size 2 in black is gone, none upstairs, none in stock. I see the educator wearing it and then I see her trying a whole bunch of other new items on. She does this every week and it bugs me to no end. I know what it must be like working at lulu, how exciting it is to get all the new product but I wish they would let the public shop first before they snatch things up, ESP if there is only 1 of a certain size. I hate having to preempt the sell out every week and having to buy online. I am going to go to the store and try to get my discount and tell the manager what is going on. Wish me luck!
Sorry for the rant, back to your regular scheduled program.

I agree with Anon @11:26 as well. That's the first thing I thought as I scrolled down...not sure if it's the fit or the wrong size, but it's cutting in in three distinct areas.

I'd love to pick up the Yin to My Yang Cardi in heathered charcoal on markdown in a 6! Please e-mail me if there's anyone out there who can help me out :) issysea[at]gmail.com

@ anon 11:26: Her behind looks fine. And just so you know, the educators in these photos sometimes read these comments, so please be nice.

7:10 the is nothing wrong with the ladies backside, or the way the tights look on her. I think us ladies tend to fixate on seriously minute body issues. We meed to stop that and embrace being female.

Anon 9:26--AGREED! What is it with those Educators? It's almost like they think that working 40 hours a week for the company and providing a service to guests like us they should get first pick of the items. Huh.

LuluAddict said...

Lol, MB - you would think LLL would provide a few extra of the popular items for the eds to sbuy. I know eds are supposed to buy the latest and greatest to model/sell the items on the floor. i know seeing an ed try on the Cadet After Asana pant and seeing how cute they were on her sold them to me so it's a tough line to walk. Eds wearing the latest is a sales model but guests feel the eds "snatch" them out from under them.

MB. said...

@LLA--I totally agree, and there's a balance...eds deserve first pick on items, but it definitely sucks when they buy out whole store of limited run items.

Some stores create individual policies for when/how much edus can buy (most of them did that for Colab pieces, for example), and I think this issue is on lulus radar (but they'll probably allow each store manager to create their own policy instead of a company wide one).
