NEW! Yoga Anorak, Beachscape Multi CRB Has Hit the US, a US Warehouse Sale is Announced, and More

New Yoga Anorak Jacket and the Beachscape Multi Cool Racerback has hit the US. I would love the Beachscape print in the Vitasea material/Yogi Tee/Tank.

A new super cute print in Wunder Under crops have been spotted in the US. (Thanks to Ms. E. for the photo.)

A US Warehouse Sale has been scheduled for March 28th in Minnesota (!). Boo! Where is our on-line warehouse sale?

Another photo of the Righteous Stripe Bordeaux Drama Scuba II.

Does anyone know if I need to size up in the Bali Breeze Free To Be Bra? Is the band tighter than usual?

LuluAddict said...

I think because it's close to the Canadian border but who the eff knows. Might as well put it in Alaska for how accessible it is to major population areas of the US.

The rent is probably cheaper for the warehouse than in NY or CA. It's the only reason I can come up with.

I got the bangbuster in the beachscape pattern, every single one at the store had a different color configuration. I also got the tracker II shorts in the plaid pattern. Will be trying those out this evening at the gym. I had no idea that they are reflective.

Those WUs remind me of the Milky Way print! So much cuter than the two recent floral prints!!

The WUC print reminds me of the Galaxy Multi print...went on markdown if I remember correctly.

Also--Minnesota? Really? Am I being punk'd?

LuluAddict said...

Lol, MB. Right? #thanksnothanks

@9:37 HI, i just sent back my normal size free to be bras because they were way too tight! I am not sure about sizing up though. I did not go there yet.

I'm sure you all feel like I do when the sales are in CA. MN is a short drive...CA, not so much.

Do they mean Minneapols?

I'm in Chicago, so I'm a little closer to Minnesota than some of you. But I still wouldn't drive there for a warehouse sale. Wish they'd have an online sale!

I happily purchased the last Righteous Stripe Bordeaux Drama Scuba II (in my size) at my local store. Only two other scubas in said color/pattern. The pattern lines up in a way that I find ideal. Perfecto addition. The logo and zipper color has a sheen so it photographs brightly.

Ha! As a resident of the area, this cracks me up! Well, Minneapolis is currently the #1 fittest city in America (www.today.com). :) Lots of runners and yogis although probably not any more than most other metropolitan areas. It'll probably still be hovering around 15 degrees (it shouldn't be but this winter has been insane), so hopefully the lines won't be that bad!

I sized up recently on free to be as well as the energy bras. I usually wear a 6…34C but find the 8 so much more comfortable…..
First it was the plum in 6 and had to go back…then the raspberry
I have the 8 in the multi spring floral and an 8 in the parallel stripe and they fit more like the 6's I bought a year and further back

which is crazy because most of my tops are a 4…a few are a 6

so since the sizes are all over the place…no consistency
And only a 14 day return policy…
They wonder why I put items on ebay to sell…what else am I suppose to do with them?

Of course I do not have multiple sizes listed

Has anyone seen or heard if the beachscape scuba is coming to the US? Or, do we think it will just stay in Australia/NZ? If it comes this way, it may be the first scuba I ever try. Ever. :)

As a mini-rant, when will angel blue stop appearing? Doesn't this make the third on-and-off appearance of it in the last 18 months? I think it's really pretty, but it makes me look sickly. Oh well. More $$ in my pockets!

Perfect for me! I live in Minneapolis. It is a surprise given the population but the population that is here loves to wear Lulu. I never touched the brand until I moved here a couple of years ago.

LLA@9:51 a.m., I bet you really meant to say: "#ThanksSnowThanks"! :)

MB - You're right that the previous Milky Way print went to loot. That print photographed well, but in person it appeared dingy and yellowish.

It's nice of Lululemon to throw those of us living in the Polar Vortex a bone. I live in St. Paul and will definitely be attending to see what it's all about. Hopefully our smaller population will make it less crazy than previous sales but I doubt it. I have a feeling lots of Canadians will come down for this.

So excited for that beachscape multi CRB! I hope it's not terribly thin.

Anyone know what the price of the anorak is?

I live in Minnesota, and am thrilled. The lulu market here is booming and we are consistently ranked one of the healthiest cities--lots of outdoor exercise options for winter and summer. Maybe it's the dual climate that is attractive--a good place to sell their a wider range of product.

Hmmm...Minnesota? I'm tempted to drive there. I live in northern Ontario, Canada (30 minutes from the Minnesota border). Minneapolis is a 5 hour drive.
I know people might think that Minnesota is an odd choice but there are a lot of Lulu fans there. I go to Minneapolis often and over the past several years I am seeing more and more people in Minnesota wearing Lulu. Also, Minnesota has an outlet store in Albertville whereas most places don't have one so Lululemon must see a worthwhile market there.

Buahahahah Minnesota?! Really Lulu...

I'm hoping a vintage pink CRB finds its way into the upload.

Re the warehouse sale: for Pete's sake do it online and be done with it. I live in the SF Bay Area but have family in So Cal and theoretically could've gotten to LA for the last sale, but 3-4 hour lines? No thanks. From what I heard, some got great deals on good stuff, but others left with one or two so-so pieces. That's a lot of effort and time. Online sale, Lulu! At least then we can shop from the comfort of our homes!

Any word on the price of the new jacket?

Yay Minnesota!!!

YEAH! I live in Minnesota so I am excited. One of Lululemons best selling stores is located in the Mall of America and we do have an outlet here too… Maybe these are the reasons.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:45 am - EXACTLY!!

Minnesota why? No sales tax on clothes. Within 2-4 hours from canada, chicago, michigan, madison, milwaukee, and WI metros. SO while this city is not as large as LA or new york. The reach will be further. Also very quick to get around town for those who come in, close to airport. All seasons of gear will sell here as well due to full seasons.

I had to size up majorly with the energy bra. I wear a size 4 in CRBs and maybe a 6 in some shirts but I had to get an 8 in the energy bra! The 6 I could barely breathe in. My chest is really not that big at all so the sizing seems bizarre. Glad it's not just me!!
P.s. I am totally buying the Bali breeze CRB and matching vinyasa scarf!!

I'm surprised at MN too, and I live here. What's more surprising is that they are opening a 4th store and we have an outlet as someone mentioned. We also just got a full Ivviva (vs. "pop-up" store) so their data must show a lot of MN love. Maybe bc it has been so freakin' cold for so long LLL feels sorry for us for sending all that Canadian cold air!

I recently went to my local store and picked up the scuba 2 hoody in the antidote green its such a pretty color and i love it its as nice as the ones from 2 years ago! I did size up however found them a bit more snug than my others from 2 years ago. Nice and long- am so happy they brought this awesome jacket back- i never bought a stretch hoody because of the length- juvinille imo!!

I lived in Minneapolis for my high school years and my family is there. Im in Detroit now and no will never drive hours to shop anywhere

anon 10:45am - you are right, I saw these in the store today they just looked dirty. If they looked as good as the pictures I would have tried them on. They don't look yellowish (not much white) but they reminded me of dirty snow (we have lots of it) with a melted snow cone.

HA! the reach would be even further if it was on an online sale... just saying. As someone who lives no where near any large cities and will probably never get to attend a warehouse sale, this is disappointing.

Glad I'm not the only one noticing size issues with the Energy Bras. Over the last 6-9 months sizing has become smaller. I've had to size up from a 4 to 6 and my boobs are not getting bigger. I first noticed change with the WAFS plum bra released in the fall, could barely get in a size 4.

What is with the color rotation LLA? Lulu released Angel Blue items around Christmas, they're releasing Bordeaux Drama (fall color) in the spring, old product (from 12 months ago) is showing up on the website? Product offering seems disjointed, lacks cohesiveness. They seem to be all over the board.
