Upload!

Co Lab Future Varsity Bra

Healthy Heart Pullover

Yin to my Yang Cardi

Some cute things were uploaded tonight, including some special edition items from the Lab. I bought a couple of items at the Lab when I was in Vancouver for the 2012 Sea Wheeze and am excited to see what other pieces they'll put on the website. Tonight I ordered the Pop Plaid Groovy Run shorts and the Apex Stripe Pink Zing Bangbuster.

What did you order?

I haven't bought anything for four uploads now! Everything is sheer or ugly. I'm done with this color palette

No gray wee stripe wunder unders in the USA or the black diamond Wunder Under roll down pants. BOO! Canada got them, but we didn't. And no Core Kicker tank!

I thought I would try the Healthy Heart pullover and the Ice Queen tights! Is it me though or does the baroque blue look like the neck is lighter than the body? If so, it's going back!

I bought a Hustle jacket in Paris Perfection from the WMTM section and a small Surge towel. Earlier in the week I picked up a Scuba hoodie in blk wht Parallel stripe. Nothing for me in today's upload. I'm waiting for new colors in the Runday Crops,

Got 2 Lab Pieces, the tank and the tights. Can't wait to get them! LLA what pcs did you get when you were in Vancouver?

Anonymous said...

I wish US side would have gotten Ice Queen Tights! Love the New Print one and Baroque Blue.

Still zest ill ZERO energy bras! Am I the only one who notices this or finds it peculiar?

I got a little outa hand. I ordered 2 healthy heart PO in BB and teal to try on for color with my red hair. Also 2 crbs in pink zing and wee stripe white; the colab pullover in inkwell (love navy!); and the Zinfandel wills which I think will go beautifully with my silver spoon chai time PO which I got in a 4 last week in store. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and I liked the fit of the smaller size in the chai...snug sleeves but the body fits more flatteringly in the smaller size IMO. Oh, and last but not least ordered my first 105F singlet. Tried it on in store and it is amazingly thinning. I was tempted by the post practice cardi but I'd sure like a 2! It's ridiculous there are no 2s bc it's such a big fit. I'm 5'4 115-20 lbs and the 4 made me feel bigger. Not flattering or slimming in the 4 and for $140 it better make me look good! Anybody my size who has it in the 4 and loves it? I'm not gonna lie I'm this close to ordering it to try at home as I've only tried it in store. Sometimes it's nice to see something at home and wear it for a bit to decide. Anyhow, cannot wait to get my stuff !
Also from the warehouse sale I have coming 2 Uba hoodies in cream and blue/yellow. Totally lucked out bc I wanted 1 but 148$ too much so now I got 2 for less than the price of 1! Do you wear them spring and fall? Or just fall?

Lined Seawall pants for hubby and Printed Ice Queen tights. Where is the Baroque Blue Forme II jacket?? And the BB Swiftly LS?? These two have been out in Europe for about two weeks now.

The lab bra looks like a cheap/imitation of michi bras http://store.michiny.com/category/bras?page=1

Anonymous said...

Look at the length on that NLT! And I doubt that model is short!

Anonymous said...

I ordered the Reflective Ice Queen Tights and the white Healthy Heart PO. I liked the Baroque Blue PO too, but I agree the neck looks like it's a different color than the body. Think I'm also going to try the merino wool tank from the Lab series and I'm deciding on the bra too. Not sure that will be anything other than a decoration on me though as it looks to be useless for any activity other than lounging if you're over an A cup and I'm a full B.

I am going for a healthy heart pullover:) can't resist rulu. .wanted the fresh teal but I think I'll reach for black more so I went safe. The co lab bra interests me...I'd like a fit review from someone with bigger girls first. I wanted a lot more than I got...but I am trying to practice some self control

Meh! I'm def somewhat interested in the Every Yogi Tee now that it came out in more colours, but the colour I like is the light green and I'm afraid it'll be see through. Might check it out in store. So funny in general though how I used to desperately want like 5 or 6 things from lulu ALWAYS and now more often than not I don't want anything.

Anonymous said...

I like the colab Varsity Bra and Varsity Jacket. I didn't buy either yet.

Anonymous said...

Had to have to colab varsity bra - it's like lulu and marlies dekkers had a baby.... i am in love!

Anonymous said...

Lizzcali - I got that jacket for Christmas and it is one of my favorite Lulu items ever. Honestly I can't believe it's still available at all!

Anonymous said...

Lululemon makes me laugh!!! What the heck is that model looking at!?! And I love how they push they lulu lab! It's a plain old sweatshirt and they market it with cool lighting and props! And the old faithful"limited edition"! Haha! And we must buy it all! Even though it's priced more then the usual stuff!

Anonymous said...

anyone know if the every yogi short sleeve fits like the ones from 2-ish years ago? I sized down then, and wondering if I should again. Thanks!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 11:54 pm - That is what I thought, too.

@ anon 6:35 am - I would assume so. Lulu tends not to change the patterns too much if they haven't changed the style name by calling it Every Yogi Tee II. It looks pretty long on the model and they're fairly tall.

Some thoughts on the upload:

Baroque blue ice queens -drool drool

Diamond dot WUP -are they sheer? I want them! I love the adjustable waist

Yin, etc cardigan -what were they thinking? Looks super cozy, but truly unflattering and ridiculous price point. How about something like the virasana blanket wrap's silhouette with the yin, etc collar?

Shoes worn by model in unlined studio crop photo -wth? They are so ugly as to distract me from how baggy the crops are

And the Lulu lab stuff thrown into the mix is so... Jarring... The black & white photography, sad model, and Lulu lab being available online? Just doesn't fit at all.

Lavender dusk crb to go with the pop plaid speeds I got in store this weekend. Hopefully it's as nice as it looks in pics!
Nothing else remotely interesting for me. Patterned ice queens are cute but at this point I'm not interested in getting more cold weather gear...would've bought a few months ago.

Nothing for me. I'm back to buying only from WMTM.

I'm on the east coast and received my WMTM order from this past Thursday this morning which was a pleasant surprise. Usually it takes a full week to arrive. Needless to say I am wearing my calm and cozy sweats that I purchased. They will be great for cold east coast days like today to throw on over my workout crops/tights. Also bought a yeah yoga bra which is great because it is cut higher in the front. It is holding everything in tight since I'm small on top even though it is light support. I'm glad I bought it because it is my only item in deep zin! I'm kind of tired of energy bras and even flow y's showing off too much cleavage and I'm only a b cup!

Is it just me or do the future varsity pant and the patience pant look identical? I am wondering if they are the same pant!

Anonymous said...

I bought the varsity skirt

stylista diva said...

Woo hoo! Ice Queen pant is back! The baroque blue is nice but again I was hoping for some cool prints not just the splash of print at the bottom of the leg...

Karin said...

OMG, that pink NLT tank on the model looks horrible. Why did they style it pulled down that far? YUCK!

Nothing for me again last night. I may get the pink CRB with the striped detailing but I'm not sure about this color.

Why do we already have an Easter egg color palette? Isn't this very similar to last year's?

Anonymous said...

Ice queen tights look nice love brushed luxstreme but i've got a pair from 3 years ago and they are still great albeight a hole in the leg from a dog jumping on me on the trails where i was running but the hole never grew it kind of adds character to the tights :), its half the size of an pencil eraser btw, ha ha ha, like anyone cares right :), anyhow yeah that lab stuff looks like overpriced junk to me! nothing for me again i agree w/ another that i used to want 6 or more things every upload now i don't even want 1 thing most of the time or i talk myself out of it waiting for the proverbial thing "I LOve" and it never comes!

Anonymous said...

ok, WHOA. BB and teal with red hair? That would be stunning!!!!! I am getting excited just thinking about it. Which makes me feel ridiculous, but I am just feeling appreciative of colour today. Blame it on pregnancy hormones I guess.

Anonymous said...

I got the varsity bra, diamond dot wunder under pants roll down and the heathered grey 105f singlet because I've been waiting for a grey one forever! :)
Also thinking about returning my pink WUC because they are SO frickin bright. lol

Anonymous said...

So I finally got the bleached coral vinyasa scarf and noticed there was a selection on the website for a hyper stripe baroque blue-- so that vinyasa must be coming soon

Anonymous said...

Canadian friends who got the white gray wee stripe wups/WUCs please share a fit review and if they are sheer. Thank you!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anyone catch that the dark grey scuba says "nice asana" on the back...would have bought the scuba but the writing killed it for me.

Anonymous said...

Wow, the product shots for the lab pieces are pretty awful. It's like they only had a floor lamp for lighting.

Anonymous said...

No the only difference I see is a gold zipper vs a silver. WTH!?!

Anonymous said...

Ugh, no interest in any of it. I would have been interested in the Ice Queens, but, really, a 25" inseam?? At 5'10", that would be crops on me, hardly what I want for snow running. No interest in any more black (includes all the Lab stuff), no interest in pastels or pinks, no interest in burnout material. I'm longing for some nice short-sleeved tops, but those Every Yogi tees look bad in the photos - the pockets are so droopy and wrinkly-looking. Are they nicer-looking in real life?

3crazykids said...

I must be alone here but I like the lab stuff. I got the jacket and tank and am debating the tights and pullover!

Any idea if I should get the Feel Good Pant? I heard the first batch of Feel Goods from 2009 were awesome, but haven't heard much about these. Thoughts?

LuluAddict said...

@W - I ordered a pair of the WMTM Feel Good pants and really like them. They are a touch thinner and not quite as soft as the original Feel Goods but my original Feel Goods are too big now so they are a nice replacement at an ok price.

Anonymous said...

I really like to colab stuff, pricey but different looking. I also like finally having a model with a little meat on her bones!

Today I got my shipment from last week's lulu upload with the Zing Pink WUC, Zing Pink Speed Shorts & Zing Pink Apex Stripe CRB. So DISAPPOINTING!! The Zing Pink WUC which I purchased TTS are SHEER & completely SEE-THROUGH even when I'm standing upright & NOT sweating in them. I bought these TTS & have dozens of other pairs of WUC, WUP, & Speed Shorts in the EXACT same size with no sheerness issues. On to the Zing Pink Speed Shorts, they are sheer but the real PROBLEM is that the lining is BLACK not pink!! So it looks like I'm wearing BLACK UNDERWEAR that is completely visible through the sheer Speed Shorts fabric, again while standing upright & NOT sweating. Sweat will make both the Zing Pink WUC & the Zing Pink Speed Shorts TRANSPARENT!! I will be RETURNING both of those today. The only item I will be keeping is the CRB. Where is the QUALITY CONTROL for SHEERNESS? Given all the past sheerness problems, lulu has absolutely NO EXCUSE for continuing to manufacture SHEER bottoms!!

Anonymous said...

the lab stuff if pretty, but i doubt it's useful as athletic wear - and very overpriced. the bra reminds me of karma wear, but less practical http://www.karmawear.com/

OT: my order from last week finally came today. PZ wucs are crazy bright! Def a little sheer in the bum when I bend, but the overall weave is very tight. I probably could use an 8 since I think I've gained a couple pounds over the holiday. I kind of want to keep them even though I probably should return. The PZ swiftly tank is very cute, but also very bright and not a hint of coral as the online pics looked to me. I think I am done with PZ. I also got the inspires with the petal pop waistband. I liked them a lot too. Just the right amount of petal pop, and the back of the legs are mesh which I prefer. Not very compressive though.

Anonymous said...

LuluAddict: You may know something about this. Are we getting OM tees, or just the Every Yogi tee?
You're in the know so I thought I would ask :)

Anonymous said...

Has anyone heard if they are going to upload the camo WUs online?

W said...

Thank you, LuluAddict!

Anonymous said...

Haha that's funny! I've had lots of those hormones!

Anonymous said...

Really glad that most of this stuff is recycled from last year with the exception of the lab items. diamond wu were from last year, fresh teal, petal pop, etc... all same as last year with spring has sprung being the Petal pop. Hoping for a US warehouse sale!!!

stylista diva said...

I like the diamond print WU roll down pant but again Lulu, why can't you put this out in the REGULAR WUP or crop? I can't stand the high waist and the roll down doesn't stay rolled on me. Boo! I also like the white/grey stripe WU but will wait for some reviews on the sheerness prior to purchasing. I returned my Zing pink WUC. Waaaay too bright & transparent sadly.

Anonymous said...

I saw the exact Lulu Lab bra about a week ago on some starlet online, but it was an other make and ridiculously expensive. So, if you want the imitation of that bra, buy the Lulu one. I suspect this bra will be on a lot of women come spring, because everybody will copy it, including Forever 21.

Any sizing advice for the healthy heart pullover? I am a 6 in crb and 8 in swiftly. Also keep looking at the moot jacket any fit tips on that and color suggestion? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Talk of Energy Bra I just got product alert for a Zing Pink Solid Energy Bra at the Tampa store

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have a try on review of the wee stripe heathered black wunder under crops? I am eyeing them and would love to hear any feedback. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

LLA!! If and when are we getting the wren camo WU's online??? My store sold out in 2 hours and I would LOVE a pair for spin!! Also- do you think they will come out in a crop as well? Thanks, love the blog!

Fit review for the new patience pant: the black wee stripe is TTS but SHEER and very thin feeling. Easy pass! The new Healthy Heart pullover TTS but very thin and the elastic bottom makes it cheap looking. Another pass. I was in the store this morning to look and try. I even overheard a few customers commenting on the Pastel colors saying they look just the same as last year. No one was buying.

perfk said...

I'm sure the energy bras used to be listed as Medium support, now they're listed as Light support - have they changed the material they use, or just changed the description? Does anyone know?

Anonymous said...

Anon 1:25- I bought the wee stripe heathered black WUCs last week after trying them on in the store. Yes, they are a little thin, but I actually really liked them. I know some people have found them to be sheer, but I didn't. I am between a 4-6 and went with a 4 because the 6 felt a little loose in the waist. My advice would be to try them in store if possible!

Anonymous said...

from the upload, i picked up the Pop Plaid Groovys and the Lavender Dusk CRB. i'm excited and hoping i like them together. the pictures i've seen are cute, so i have high hopes.

Anonymous said...

3crazykids 10:22, you're not alone, I like the colab stuff too. I want the jacket but it's pricey and I have to allocate $ towards other things right now. I'll live if it sells out but maybe it'll make it to md.

Wow, so critical of the model (these girls can never win with you lot) and also the pictures. Imho, the black and white for the main shot of each item is artful. The model is pretty and athletic - awesome. I get why they did it, to make the colab stuff stand out.

@ 12:02 PM, please calm down and stop yelling. I don't even have the time of day for to read a comment that's YELLING/RANTING.

J in TO said...

@ Anon 9:43 am....I saw that writing on the heathered blk/soot scuba too! Yuck! Easy pass for me, despite loving the colour.

3crazykids said...

Anyone keeping the zing pink Speed shorts they bought? I feel like I like the color but I also feel like I'm wearing a Victoria's Secret bag. Should they stay or should they go?!

Tornadogirl said...

Anon 1:04...the Healthy Heart pullover runs big. I usually take a 12 in a Scuba and a 10 in a GW, but the 8 in the HH fit perfectly! Hope that helps?

Anonymous said...

@5:57 PM looks like you had plenty of time to read everything :)

people come here to give feedback on products & like it or not, sometimes people are dissatisfied. i'm glad that there are people who give all kinds of product reviews so i can make more educated decisions on products to buy. thanks for this blog lla & for allowing commenters on here to voice opinions as well. you're doing a great service to lll customers!

Anonymous said...

@3crazykids, that's exactly what i thought when i saw the pink stripe, victoria's secret! I think it's super cute although it does look like it came from a VS collection. free advertising lol

Hear hear!

Anonymous said...

gah. I really want the every yogi t-shirt. but $58 ! for a t-shirt. It's a t-shirt, it's not a technical piece like a swiftly or something that wisks away sweat.

Anonymous said...

it was a nice surprice to see the colab stuff. A breath of fresh air in my opinion, not sure if the items are practical, but they are definitely edgy and creative.
