Upload!

Quite a few cute new items were uploaded tonight. I ordered the Baroque Blue Race With Grace Half Zip and the Apex Stripe Zing pink light CRB tonight. There were a few other things I really liked - all the Zing Pink Swiftly tops, the Zing Pink Forme Jacket, the Post Practice Cardi, the Zing Pink Striped scoop neck tank but I want to see them in the store first.

Did you get anything?

I bought the zing power WUC, speed shorts in pop plaid and a petal pop bangbuster. So happy with this lot!

Didn't get a thing...was hoping for the card in black...only beige and orange in Canada! Totally disappointed in that! :(

I didn't buy anything. I was hoping for the Baroque Blue Tame Me Tank and it wasn't uploaded on the Canadian site and I was also hoping to see the Healthy Heart Pullover but I don't think it was uploaded on any of the sites.

The zing pink vneck swiftly and the blue baroque scuba. Told myself I wouldn't buy anymore scubas. This makes #7, ugh.

I got the zing pink CRB and WUCs. I kinda wanted the speeds and inspires too, but I restrained myself...for now.

Nabbed the Zing V-neck Swiftly. I want a pink one, but in the photos it looks kind of coral. I hope it's just a photo thing. The heather wouldn't change it that much, right?

Also, I struggled between the Zing CRB and the Scoop and ended up getting both. One or both are going back. But I don't feel bad because had they used a model with even the slightest swell of hips, I'd be able to tell if the two- tone on the scoop is going to be a problem.

Love the new Grace zip...especially in the blue. But it's already too warm for me to run in long sleeves.

SOOO excited to see a new Pacesetter in Tall!!! Too bad I already have too similar of a color.

I would have bought the pop plaid shorts, but I didn't like the black trim. It seems too harsh up against the soft pastels. Maybe it looks better in person? I'll need to check it out at my store. I think inkwell trim would have been prettier. I like the apex zing stripe speeds, but I worry about sheerness, so will need to check that out at my store too.

the zing pink WUC! too cute to resist~

Wow. Totally blah Canadian upload.
I'm wondering...has anyone actually bought or tried on the weightless crew. I'd love done thoughts on it. I've been eyeing them since they came out but is like a little input before I unload $80+ for it. Tnx in advance ! : )

Grabbed a petal pop duffle and a brushed headband. Tempted by the tame me's but I think I can pass for now on those colours.

Plaid speeds and pink zing speeds!!! Wanted the zing apex CRB and that new Rulu PO but Canada didn't get either!

Anonymous said...

Was tempted by both new Speed Short designs, but ultimately passed. Nothing else interested me.

I did not order anything but am interested in the run with grace crops. Anyone try them on yet and are they opaque or sheer?

I have to say that I'm not a pastel person but that new lavender dusk stripe power y is awfully pretty!

Nada for me.

V-neck swiftlies! that's my kryptonite!…However, wishing they were in the colors Aus has: surge, heathered pp, angel blue or even the new heathered lavender. Anyone think we may get these?

ari @ whatarisaid said...

Nope. Nada! My wallet is so happy! I almost like that race with grace half zip but since I just got the Bhakti jacket, I don't need it. I've told myself that all I need is running crops with pockets. Wish they come out with more...

Thank goodness nothing for me. Bank account needs a big long break.

The pop plaid pacesetter - love this pattern.

First of all, I totally agree with LLA's analysis of yesterday.

Onto the upload: I was so excited when I first saw the swiftlies. "Finally, the guava lava I've been waiting for!" The tops turned out to be Zing Pink -- a pretty color for sure, but one that I doubt flatters my skin tone as much.

I was wondering if anyone has seen those ZING swiftly tops in person. On my computer at least, they had a lovely coral tinge to them. However, other versions of the Zing Light don't appear to have even a hint of orange.

OT: 'm still wanting some SOLID CRBs in the colors found on the assorted stripe items from December (guava lava, raspberry, DZ to name a few) as well as the more recent Baroque Blue. I would appreciate even solid Lavender or Zing Pink.

Despite my complaints, I got the Clear Mint CRB and I really like it. At first I was annoyed that it was so close in color to Faded Zap, but it's SO much better than the sheer dotted version that came out last year. (I'm not the only one to feel this way, I know! :))

Moreover, I'm excited to try my Baroque Blue yoga jacket that should be arriving in the mail today.

Thanks again for an awesome blog!

Baroque blue double diamond scuba. I had a gc and have been waiting for a scuba that I like for a while.

Tempted by new speeds and would've pulled the trigger if they were 4 way stretch.

Nothing here as well. This model is keeping me from buying anything new, lol. The mouth breather pose makes the clothing so unappealing.

Any light pink Wunder Unders are going to shoe every bump and dimple! I'm sure they're sheer around the bum too. Just wanted a solid CRB in pink but nothing appeared so ZIP for me and my wallet! Another disappointing upload :(

First, thank you for all the work you put into this blog! I know it is a lot of work.
I have spent so much $ on Lulu stuff in the past two months! I think I need an intervention!
I bought the run with grace half zip in the fresh teal and the long sleeve swiftly in lavender dusk. Such a pretty color and I have the black stripe one and I love it.
The baroque blue Bhakti jacket is scheduled to arrive today - can't wait!

Was the Chai time pullover uploaded on any sites? Or has this just been spotted in stores? If anyone on here knows of any stores in Ontario where is may be perhaps you could post a message :) I know Vaughn Mills tends to get products a bit sooner it seems. As for the upload not too much catching my eye. I will consider the petal pop duffle if it's available next week and I put the pink WUC in my cart and decided not to follow through. My lulu debts are finally paid off from Nov and Dec and it will be nice to save some money!! Might be my first week in a lonnnngggg time I haven't ordered anything :)

I'm so disappointed that Canada didn't get the apex stripe zing pink CRB too :( :(

Still waiting for Runday Crop in mini hyper stripe baroque blue. How do I contact production/design team? how can they not see this product selling? And the Zing pink crops look so childish. And for such bright color crop, you need to have perfect leg shape, or it will just highlight all your shortcomings...

Anon 7:14am - totally agree with you, this model makes me not want to get anything she is wearing. I don't get why they use her so much, she models like 80% of the clothes and she doesn't even look great in them.

Trying out the Luxtreme Speed Tights in mini hyper stripe baroque blue - hopefully they come with stripes this time.

I was tempted by the Zing WUC, but I'm pretty confident they will be sheer, so I decided to skip them. I'm happy even though they already sold out in my size - it's my goal this year to purchase less and start appreciating everything I have!

Anonymous said...

I bought the Blue Race with Grace pullover and a Zing longsleeve Swiftly. I really like and could use the reflective bomber jacket, but at $228....I think I'll be sticking with my $8 flashing light bracelets.

I'm a speed short hoarder! When the sea check plaid speeds came out, they were gone like *that*. I thought those had a beautiful contrast of all the colors and trim. I wanted to buy these new pop plaid too and then I quickly started losing interest and I couldn't quite pinpoint why. Then it hit me, the print looks a little juvenile, the mix if colors is something I know I can find in the toddler section of a store. Sigh, nothing for me. I agree with the poster above the black trim is too harsh against the soft pastels.

NOT A THING. Glad I didn't spend any money, but where are the interesting products? Boring uploads, same old jackets, long sleeve run tops, etc.

Nothing for me, though I am tempted by the Zing Pink CRB. I prefer solid CRBs so I want to see what this looks like in person before I buy it. If the stripes are subtle I will get it, if they are too bold for my liking I won't.

I really just buy CRBs from Lulu and I haven't bought one in forever. I really wanted some of the fall colors in solid CRBs but I guess that was too much to ask.

LLA- this is off topic, but do you find your energy bra's stretch out a little over time? I purchased my first 2, which felt really comfortable in the dressing room, but after wearing one for several hours it feels a little to tight and compressive. Hoping it will give a little over time. Thanks so much!

I want to know more about that cardigan- size up? Size down? Does it cover the bum so I could wear with leggings? Don't want it too look frumpy- and what is it made of- appears to be cotton. Thats an awful lot of cash for a cotton cardi I can get at Kohls for $30.

Just got back from my store & they had an early shipment this week (making up for their late shipments last week, I guess) including the Zing Pink WUC. Tried them on & fell in love! :) They are the Full-On Luon fully opaque fabric. NO sheerness. NOTHING shows. Fits TTS for anyone who's wondering. Of course, I bought them & can't wait to wear them!

nothing even tempting for me. not liking this color palate or the new items at all. which is good! i would have been interested in the chai time but it is probably better to check out a store since im not sure about sizing/fit. my store rarely has any new stuff though, so lulu will probably be losing my $ on this like so many other items.

i like the striped pink speeds but im not a crazy bright or plaid shorts person. imo speeds are short & tight enough that i prefer more subtle colors & patterns on me.

OT but im traveling today & so excited to check out an ivivva store! ive never been to one before :) ivivva size 14 items fit me a lot better than lulu generally.

@7:14 hahahaha mouth breather pose! would it kill her to crack a smile? worst model ever. hate how the clothes hang off her. show us some curves, lulu!

Heatherered pink zing Vneck swiftly, pink zing WUC. I really wanted the swiftly raceback too but I had to get just one. LOVE the color they are looking like online (more like guava lava?) So I'm crossing my fingers these are the real color & it wasnt another website picture mistake! If the swiftly's are just plain light pink I will be returning.
I got my Surge yoga mat yesterday & i'm in love! Can't wait to use it but it does stink.

Went to my local store this morning -- Santana Row. They had a bunch of stuff that was uploaded last night like the Race With Grace 1/2 zip, Post Practice Cardi, swiftlys, Chai Time Pullover, etc. Glad I got there early because they only had one size 2 in each color, so I got the black one.

The Race With Grace 1/2 zip does fit a bit snug. I tried on both the 4 and 6 and felt the 6 was more comfortable, so when it arrives in the mail on Thursday I'll go with that size.

They had the wren camo Wunder Unders! They had just gotten them in this morning and only had three size 4s out and an 8 in the bins I think. The girl wasn't sure if they would be getting more since they only came this morning. The camo print is very subtle and the LLL logo is actually worked into the design which was kinda cute. Close up you can see the print, but they pretty much look like a pair of Wren colored WUs -- certainly from far away you can't distinguish the print. They do seem a bit polyestery, but I went ahead and got a pair and can think about whether I want to keep them or not.

They had the Baroque Blue Roll Out Crop. I just got the Athleta Bare to Run Knicker in their bright blue color last night for $21 on sale, so I'll be skipping the Roll Out Crop!

Oh there were 3 pairs of black Practice Daily pants on MD for $59! There were two size 4s and an 8 I think. Not sure where they had those hiding in the back. I bought a pair after Thanksgiving for $79.

I bought Mint Moment, Beach Blanket Blue and Polar Haze last year so why do I need to buy it all again with different names this year?

I did treat myself to two Scubas in the flash sale. Did anyone else buy the Silver Spoon one? It's a good inch longer than any of my other Scuba Stretches which is a welcome surprise. For all the money they charge though you would have thought we would get a little more sizing consistency, I mean this is the same product, same size and it's a different cut.

Anonymous said...

Hallelujah! Thanks for the fit
Review, I am soooo excited for mine to come in the mail now! Did they show lumps and bumps?

Anonymous said...

I don't get why they do the same colors for a particular season two years in a row? This does not make good business sense??? can someone please explain this to me, i can understand redoing a color here and there that was a smash hit run but why redo mediocre colors that didn't do well like mint moment or polar haze neither color did well. anyway what ever, seems like they will do what guarentees poor sales!

perfk said...

You know what would be awesome - if they used a different model for every colour, seeing as most items come out in a couple of colours at a time. Then you could just flick through and look for the model whose shape was most like your own.

Anonymous said...

I am also not a fan of the super thin model. She is a ghost in the clothing! I would love some more athletic models with muscle and curves.

I am still waiting...fingers crossed...for a nice asana jacket in petal pop. It would look so good with all my solid tanks!!

Othersise, I am not liking the pastels and have passed on everything. Still need to pay off last month's shopping spree, lol.

I went to return items to lulu today and they threw a HUGE fit abt the returns and 'not having a receipt' thus would not give me my money back but instead gave me over $1k store credit. They were online orders and I had the invoice on my phone as well as being logged into my lulu online account. I AM SO DONE with them, ugh. I have a huge lulu December credit card bill to pay off now because of an arrogant employee who didn't seem to grasp online orders. I want to scream and cry at the same time.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 1:58 pm - so you have the packing slips but not the emailed receipts? I haven't had a problem returning items with the packing slip only. You should call the GEC about this. Some stores seem to demand the emailed receipt and others do not. There is definitely a disconnect and there is nothing on the website about requiring the emailed receipt.

@ anon 12:43 PM
NO lumps & NO bumps in the Zing Pink WUC. You're going to love them! The full-on luon is NOT at all see-through & the fabric is very soft & comfortable, too.

That poor girl (the model) better not be reading this blog. I actually think they should definitely get some models who have breasts and bum.

Any reports on the Race with Grace crop?
