oh, whoops! I see the cups in the zing pink tops.
Do the Studio pants fit like the Dog Runner? Want to order my first Studio pant.
I'd love some advice on sizing for the Ebb to Street bra... is it at all advisable for 34D? I wear a size 8 energy bra normally but a couple of recent ones I bought were too tight. I have the yeah yoga bra in size 8 and it's perfect.
The military inspired colors and names are weird, but I love that cadet blue! Yay for more cool earth tones! I'm so over neon tacky fluorescent.
What are the pants in the second group of pictures with the zing pink ebb and flow tank. She has her back turned to the camera?
Hi LL friends! I am still on the search for a wee stripe grey/white vinyasa. If anyone is willing to angel me one, or even has a new one to sell...I would be super appreciative! I can pay thru paypal. Email firstname.lastname@example.orgThanks! :)
WARNING ABOUT THE PATIENCE PANTS!Two women were wearing these today in my yoga class. One had the black wee stripe and the other had baroque blue. BOTH WERE COMPLETELY SHEER IN THE BUTT!!! The woman in baroque blue bent over in down dog and I saw her cheeks and skin! I noticed the other woman in the black wee stripe as I was leaving and same thing. Sheer in the backside! I'm not talking a little see through…I mean I saw it all.I would not even consider buying these in WMTM
@ 12:03 PM- I'd seriously advise against the Ebb to street bra for 34D. I am 34A, normally size 6 in lulu but had to size up to an 8 in this bra. While it looks great and is comfortable (although a tad tight), there are times in yoga class when I have to look down/adjust to make sure nothing is falling out. Bc of this it's become more of a casual wear bra. You could try it (def size up) if you're looking for super low coverage.OT does anyone know if the green wafs crops have been spotted in US stores?
I think sheer pants are everywhere. The past two weeks I've seen two different women in my gym with totally sheer Nike pants with plaid undies.
Please help .. i own 2 pairs of In the flow crop size 8 but they roll down during running ,insanity and i constantly have to pull em up .. should i downsize .. i really love em :( Im 5,9 138 lbs
I'm a 34A and normally a size 6. I tried on an Ebb to Street bra in store, in a size larger (8) as advised by the educator (and based on reviews on the website). Was surprised to find it much too large. Though I have little need for support, I do like my sports bras to fit snug. They didn't have any left in size 6 at that point (this was a few months back), but I ordered one of the new Fresh Teal ones this time around. I hope it works out, I really love the fabric and the cut of this bra. If not, well, free returns on bras!
Try it in a size up if you're looking for a comfy bra for casual wear (not yoga etc.). I'm a 30E/32DD and I love it for comfort. I do have to adjust it at times but feel that if I was just a smidgen less busty it'd be good to go! Btw I'm a 6 in the Yeah Yoga.
Anon @1:51 - size down if you are constantly pulling up. I will definitely pick up an Ebb to Street tank in Zing pink and the bra in Baroque blue. I ordered the stripe In the Flow crop in blue, though it won't be crop weather here for awhile. Liking the Bali Green color and Cadet blue! Hope they bring out more of this. How 'bout some Om tees in various colors? And I'm getting really tired of the quick online/store sell out of product. If it sells that fast (within 12 hours of upload) - make more. Consumers are totally OK with you sending out a second shipment to purchase. I thought that was the point of having stuff made in cheap labor countries...
Agreed, I'll take the earth tones any day over the fluorescent stuff. I don't care for those crops but Cadet Blue does seem nice. I don't care for anything lately, not even the wee stripe CRB (examined it in store). Haha I'm making 'progress' as I used to want almost every CRB that came out. I do like some of the colab stuff. I bought the bra. I want the jacket but I'm pacing myself on that one. I tried it on in store and liked it, quality and how it looked on me.
Re: sheerness in any brand. Yeah, I don't think these ladies even check themselves, or else just don't care. I had someone in front of me last week with super sheer LLL crops on. I wasn't even trying to look but when your eyes happen to pass over them when your going into standing bow...I thought: "yikes, more than I ever want to see!"
I tried on the Patience pants today in store in the black wee stripe. I bent over and stuck my hiney waaaay out. I was wearing bright blue lace undies and could only make out the lace pattern. However, the lighting isn't the best in store now is it?The legs fit great but the waist was too loose so I did not purchase them.
The striped In The Flow pants are sheer. Just tried them on. They were stretchier and very comfortable, but noticeably thinner and most definitely sheer.
This does not surprise me on the new In the flow crops. I simply won't buy that crop anymore - guaranteed sheer/see thorough (and I'm petite!)Also, check out the recent Wunder Under Crop reviews. There is one by COCOLETTI from Jan 23rd with a photo of the sheer wee stripe WUC's. What's it going to take for LLL to get back to quality?
like the comment above, it is not just lulu that is making the sheer crap. I have seen girls in my gym wearing nike, splits 59, lorna jane etc. Those brands are also using similar fabric to lulu and a lot of them are sheer.M
Came across this recent article - obviously LL is aware of quality issues, but pretty much just shrugs its shoulders at it - why not? Consumers are still purchasing - sheer or not.http://www2.macleans.ca/2014/01/17/lululemon-predicted-its-own-financial-downward-dog/
Thanks for the advice re: 34D sizing for the ebb to street bra. Or ebb & flow, whatever. Anyway, I was planning on wearing it as a nursing bra, so if my breasts op outbeasily that'll be a bonus I suppose? I ordered a 10. I would never have worn something so skimpy even for my restorative yoga class pre-pregnancy (when I wore a size 4).
i have tried on sheer bottoms in other brands, including an Under Armour tight that was supposed to be for cold weather. i recently ran a 1/2 marathon and couldn't believe all of the sheer tights and crops ladies were wearing. i was behind one girl where i could easily tell her undies were striped just by glancing at her. a i the only one who does bootie checks in different lights just to ensure my bottoms aren't see-through?
I don't think every mirror shows the sheer issue.Yesterday at the Gym the TRX class had reserved my normal back row treadmills so I found one in the front of the room. I spent my entire hour, an hour I painstaking carve out of the day for myself to relax and recharge, worrying if other rows behind me could see through my crops (paisley Run For Fun). I try to tell myself that we all have the same bits so who cares. But I have to wonder if the 60-something, track suit wearing man on the Elliptical behind me had special dreams last night.
@January 28, 2014 at 5:11 PMThanks for the fit review! I didn't know the In the Flows could be even sheerer/thinner than they are now. I tried on 5-6 pairs when they first came back (last year?) and sheer - the educator at the store kept giving me other pairs to try on in case it was a "bad batch". I know some people said they weren't, so maybe that was a bad batch or people are in denial??
