NEW! Post Practice Cardi

New cotton wrap called the Post Practice Cardi. Comes in this orange color, black, and an oatmeal. As soon as I find other photos I will post. I've seen a few try on photos and it's super cute. The price is $138 but I've finally found something I want to spend my lulu GC on.

I love the colour!!!! That's going to be a big hit I think!

I think it will sell fast. I am dying to know if it's coming in gray.

Ooooooh - just when I thought I'd be saving some $ this month!

That is super cute. I'm a sucker for that style of sweater. I've got a gc ready too!

Oh heck no. That color looks identical to light flare, or worse than that, possibly dazzling aka traffic cone. This cardi looks dumpy and common. Next.

I think it is really nice and I would certainly wear it often but I am not sure I can bring myself to spend $138 on a cotton cardigan no matter how pretty it is...

Bleh! I really don't like that sweater; looks frumpy, and like something an old man would wear, not to mention overpriced.

I'm not sure of this just isn't photographing well but this looks like something you could buy at gap- does not look lulu special to me

I love that orange color, but, honestly, I think that style of cardigan looks very old fashion. I would definitely be interested in other things that color, but not that cardigan!

Question: has it hit the site yet? I def want to purchase this, but cannot find it :(

Definitely not a fan! Not sure why this would sell fast when you could get something cheaper in some other store.

This is a nice looking cardi; esp in oatmeal but $138 for cotton? Am I missing something here?

Grandpa sweater.

I think the orange color is "very light flare". The Aussie Lulu site has a couple of bras in this color.

Anon 8:30, regarding looking like something you can buy at Gap and not being lulu special - you put words to my feelings about this one.

OT-has anyone seen The new Athleta catalog? They've really stepped up their game this month! Check out their crops!

Yes, Gap!! Not Lululemon! It doesn't even remotely look sporty or athletic! It would sell for about $40 at The Gap too!

Frumpy and pedestrian. And what an insane price.

Lulu knitwear always has problems! Pilling, unravelling, snags and holes, always while items are still new. I've learned my lesson. Save your $$, please!lll
I can whip up scarves that look way nicer than theirs (and last far longer) in a day and I only learned how to knit last year. Honestly, LLA, when you said something about a junior high home ec project... That's what I thought when I saw Lulu's knit accessories this year.

Dumpy. Sorry. I don't think clothes need to be tight to look good, so it's not that. It's just frumpy grandma to me.

For those that like it though, I really think you could probably find something similar at a lower price point? Especially given the material. I don't mind paying lulu premiums most of the time because lulu stuff fits me better than just about anything else, but "perfect" fit seems irrelevant here. If you have the money go for it, but if you have a lulu "budget" maybe use the next few days before upload to shop around.

I have a pair of size 4 Parallel Stripe WUP that I've taken the tags off of and washed, but haven't worn. The size 4 is a little big, so I picked up a size 2 instead. If anyone wants to buy them I'm selling them for cost + taxes + shipping. Let me know - thanks!!

Not sure why anyone would pay $138 for this when there are prettier shawl collared cardigans elsewhere for less. Anthropologie.com's sale sweaters for example.

I am, however, loving the Gratitude Wrap that I purchased on impulse. Passed on it on during previous releases thinking it would be too warm for Phx, but am wearing it all the time this winter. Perhaps I'm unconsciously trying to justify paying $118 for a sweatshirt that looks like a big sack.

Are you sure?? I've seen a few try on pics of this cardi too and not even kate moss can pull this off. frumpy and makes your entire top half look chubby. Never thought I'd say this but spent close to $500 at the new Athleta store in my neighborhood.

I agree that Athleta is giving Lulu a run for their money. I gave Athleta gift cards to my workout inclined friends and relatives for Christmas at their request. One friend pulled me into the new Scottsdale store and spent over an hour trying on everything from leggings to dresses. I picked up a cute, well constructed, reasonably priced (under $100) gym bag while I was there. Would have tried on a few items, but they were sold out in my size.

bad sweater thing yuck! I can't believe anyone would pay $138 for that. It looks cheap and I do think that it will fall apart within a few uses.
