Free to Be Wild Bra and More

Some Free to Be Wild bra photos. I got mine yesterday and am wearing it right now. I think it fits TTS compared to the regular Free to Be. The front coverage is the same. I think the support is a little less, though. The FTB is purely a low impact bra for me.

Yeah! I see my gals from SLC on here. :) I've picked up the new speeds, but haven't purchased the bra yet. It looks like it sits too high under the arms, but maybe that's not the case.

What is the bra in the last picture?

Does anyone have feedback on the support level of the In a Flash bra? Thanks!

I may have to revisit the store on the In a Flash bra. I actually like the petal pop print in this one. I love the teal trim on the Speed Shorts. Will have to keep my eye out for those - though it's tough to consider shorts in my snowy weather right now! Lulu should have made some snow pants for Canada this year.

Returned my petal pop hoodie from the $58 sale to my local store. Found some great stuff marked down more - dog runner pants for $39, winter sprinter pants for $39, aria tank for $19.

Ordered the Petal Pop multi Speed shorts yesterday afternoon, and they came this morning! Too bad I don't really like them, lol! Is it me or is the 4 way stretch fabric getting thinner and thinner? I swear these are thinner (and would be sheer if they weren't a dark, patterned color). They feel thinner than the BB inkwells I got a month plus ago.

The black fabric of the shorts is kind of muddy, almost brown and doesn't match the black waistband. Weird 2-tone thing that in my opinion, looks a little off. I thought that these shorts would be something I could wear a bunch of various colors with because of the different colored flowers, but the pattern was kind of distracting and some colors didn't go as well.

I am returning these. Maybe something that looks better on me will be uploaded on Monday. A girl can dream!

Has anyone tried on the tame me tank & the Hustle and bustle tank. Just trying to decide between the 2. Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for your dedication to maintaining this blog so consistently, LLA. Always a favorite read!

Do you think the US will get the blue bhakti yoga jacket uploaded? I'm starting to lose hope as the stores in my area are already sold out (I was gone on holiday). Boo.

@ anon 3:34 pm - I'd hope the US would get the Blue Bhkati on the website. My stores are sold out of it, too.

Agree. Love the abs on the last girl. I too, could have those abs again if I was 20-25 years old and no kids......

OT: has anyone tried the ribbed scoop neck (long sleeve) top from Beyond Yoga? it's on Gilt right now and looks like it could be a good layering top, similar to the elongate T and karmady T, which i love but can't buy due to pilling.

also, got dog runners for $49 at my store the other day (before new year's - see below) - they only had size 8 which is a little big on me, but for $49 i couldn't leave them. also snagged a pair of parallel strip WUCs in an 8 - probably could have taken a 6 but these were the last pair in the store. i can't remember what people were saying about these as far as them bagging out - any input?

as far as all this new stuff goes, i am definitely going to be able to stick to my No Lulu resolution for now. until those Every Yogi tees show up!

Happy New Year!

I got the blue Bhakti but have to take it back...it's a wee bit too clingy in the back for my taste. But the colour is fabulous and the style is quite stunning!!!!! :)

@anon 5:06, there are plenty of women who have had children and are not 20-25 years old that have great abs, they work hard for them as i'm sure the girl in the pics has as well. there are also 20-25 year olds with no kids that don't have abs like that - please don't take offense but just felt i had to comment

OT but has anyone ordered and received the brushed speed tights in the mini hyper stripe baroque blue? Saw a review on the lulu website stating that the customer received tights that were solid blue, only the waistband was striped, not the entire tight as shown in the website picture. Anyone else have this happen? TIA!

Boy, I don't like that first bra. Seems very complex. And, I concur with previous commenter I saved the picture with the abs girl -- I need a goal to strive for. Wow.

Is the woman wearing a blue baroque Tame Me Tank in one if the photos? I am really excited if it is because I love wearing them in the summer.

OT fit comment on the bhakti jacket: I just got my Baroque blue in the mail today; i read that people recommended to size up on this item but only my pre-pregnancy TTS 4 wasleft so that's what I ordered, thinking I'd save it til next fall. But it fits great, even on my 6 month belly, and I'm not particularly thin. The arms are even a little long and loose. Also, the luon feels really nice but I would have liked the cuffins instead of the wrists the way they are... I have to roll up the sleeves and they don't look as nice. the colour is stunning!

And the FTB wild bra is just a bit too busy for my taste. Is the difference worth an extra $6? The regular FTB style has just enough visual interest in the back for me.

Is it just me or were the Bhakti crops repriced from $78 up to $88 on the website? I was going to pick them up, the thought of paying $100 for a pair of crops is a no-go for me.

Anonymous said...

Yes the crops were repriced. The stores had them at $88 from the start

I am not sure what's going on, but I will be returning them and will tell them I am not going to pay shipping!!!

@Luli Designs - The baroque blue tame me tank is available in Australia in store and online -http://www.lululemon.com.au/products/clothes-accessories/women-tanks/Run-Tame-Me-Tank?cc=12190&skuId=au_3527718&catId=women-tanks

I agree Anon@6:35. I thought that her comment would be very discouraging to people. I am in my 30s and have had 2 kids. I have abs and I know several other women with kids over 25 that have them. Even a couple in their 40s. It's not impossible. I realize not everyone wants or cares about abs, that comment just bothered me. It felt dismissive of people's effort under age 25, and discouraging for those older.

The woman that asked if that was a blue Tame Me Tank -- yes it is. It's on one of the other sites already. Hong Kong maybe? I can't quite remember. It's super pretty.

I ordered the FTB Wild but I am not liking it in these pics. Should be here today. I'm assuming I'll probably be returning it. Good thing for free returns on bras!

Sorry it wasn't Hong Kong site, it was Australia with the blue Tame me Tank.

Thanks, anon at 10:45 PM re: the repricing of the Bhakti Crops. Yup, I'm definitely passing on these.

I didn't take offense by the comment but I'm over 30, have had 7 kids and I'm on my way to my six pack. The kids call it my 4 pack (lol) but I'm working on it! I feel awesome so you can have kids and abs. It IS possible! I loved those pics of those beautiful girls! It made me motivated to do a few extra crunches last night! Haha

Luli Designs said...

Thanks so much for letting me know the Tame Me Tank in baroque blue is on the Australian site, fingers crossed it comes to Canada too.

sheese all this about abs women are such sensitive creatures they read into things that arn't there very odd imo!!! now bash me ladies ;)

The FTB wild sports bra pics doesn't do it justice. It so comfy and really unique pretty in real life (not complicated at all). It gives a unique detailing under revealing backless tops. I think this bra is more favorable towards teens-30 or older. Depends on the persons preference of styled sports bra.
