I guess I no longer need to wonder if the green every yogi is sheer....Do I size down or stay TTS
i have a quick question - i have an ebb to street tank from the first run...haven't bought anything since and do not see any reviews on the site.anyhow, i had a horrible rub under the arms where the seam is stitched. did anyone else have this issue? i wish i had looked at the reviews but i didn't wear the tank right away and now avoid it. it didn't feel too tight and im not bulging out anywhere but?? sizing issue?? design?? unsure if i was the only one who had this problem.it was the bordeaux colour (forget the name). tia.
anon with scratchy seam again...now i see there are some reviews up. im not sure how i missed them but i checked this am. anyhow, no one seems to have an issue with the scratchy seam, at least in the reviews.must be me, the fit, or ?? its a really nice tank, i just hate that plasticy seam under the arms.
anon re: scratchy seamI have 7 tanks from the second run; cornflower, angel, 2 plums, 3 blacks. ( got third black one for $29 on sale...for backup ) Yes, I'm obviously an ebb to street tank fan.One of the plums has that scratchy underarm seam that is almost painful. ( I wear an energy bra with just that one )The rest are fine. Can't figure out what is hurting me on just one tank.
I actually like that color green, but I already have the pace setter skirt, 105F tank and a few items from last year that look a lot like that green.LULU's color palette is quite limited, they tend to stick with the girlie colors too. wish they did mor interesting patterns and shades.M
What bag is that featured with the Every Yogi Tee picture?
Why did the Twist bra & Digni Tees make it in stores and not online? I thought it would be uploaded this week. Disappointed. Now I have to hope there will still be some left when I can make it back in store at the end of this week. Grrr! Happy about the Ebb to Street bra and tank upload though!
Hm. I feel I know the girls a little too intimately who are wearing the ebb & flow crops.
I have an every yogi t from a couple of years ago. It looks pretty different than these. Much looser fitting and longer in my usual size and not sheer in the least.
Why is the Every Yogi Tee now $58? I have a few from a year or so ago $48. And much thicker cotton not sheer like these. I'm going to baby the ones I have....Lululemon should really take sheerness out of all their products!
Re: teal ebb to street tank, looks like lulu has moved over to making sheer tanks now too.
thanks anon 7:03 - perhaps it was from the second run? now that you mention plum, i believe that is the colour. it was released the same time as the cream/off white.appreciate the feedback, i found it painful as well.
Why did they have to mess up the Energy Bra????
i am tempted to get zing, baroque AND black stripe ebb to street - i love that anon @7:03 has 7!!! makes me feel better about maybe having 4...and definitely going to have to grab the fatigue studio pants. my favorite color! and will look great with above ebb to street tanks. meanwhile, i did order the varsity pants and they just DO NOT work on me. too formless/stretchy/stiff all at the same time. at first they looked like baggy will pants, then when i pulled them down to my hips, they just didn't hang right. they are going back, which is how i will justify the fatigue studio pants (birthday present from me!).i got the varsity tank in size 8 and think i could have taken a 6 - anybody have any reviews on sizing down to your smaller size? (i am always between 6 and 8.)anybody dying for the varsity pants in inkwell, size 8 before i return them?
Can anyone tell me how low cut the ebb and flow tanks are? I personally don't like to show a lot when I bend over in pump class. I find the flow y's show a bit more than I like!
I got the varsity tank in a size 6 but could have definitely sized down to a 4.
@Anon re: scratchy seam - I have 4 of those tanks, and one of them is the Bordeaux one and i know exactly what you are talking about! Where the seam is sewn together under the arm, it is like a hard/sharp plastic or something that painfully digs into the skin. As a result, I rarely reach for that tank, but love my other 3. I guess that run had a problem. I just ordered the Zing Pink one, hope it's ok!
On me the ebb tank was pretty high cut. Much more than the power y or crb. It's the least revealing lulu tank I've tried. And they're super soft! I just didn't like how short they are. They hit right at my hip, which most people like. Hope that helps!
I got the varsity tank in my tts 4. It fits perfectly and is pretty flattering. I love the length! It totally covers my bum so it would even work as a dress (but only in Vegas or at the beach). I also hated the varsity pants. Looked way too much like a diaper. I got the skirt and pullover in inkwell. Both size 4. Probably not keeping either. Let me know if you're interested before I return them!I also have both colors of the bra and the tights in a size 4 on their way from Australia. I doubt I'll need both colors in both styles, so those could be available too in the near future.
@anon 1:58 - thank you for the info. i am not even sure what colour i have:) its a dark wine coloured one, could be bordeaux or plum?? i thought it was a first run (i have not purchased anything for a long, long time) honestly im not even sure exactly when i purchased it as it was quite a while ago. all i remember is at the same time, there was an off white/cream one.anyhow, point being, that seam is brutal! you said it exactly, its like a sharp piece of plastic thats sewn right in. it is beyond uncomfortable.tank itself - fabric is beautiful as is the colour but i cannot wear it due to that seam.sounds like it was limited to colour/run and its great if it was resolved.thanks for the info!
seems like all of you with those bad ebb to streets could try to return them and get a new one, albeit in a different color. i have the plum one (I'm pretty sure that's the one you have, and i guess i got it last fall) and I LOVE IT. no rubbing anywhere. so soft and yet so supportive. lulu seems pretty good about taking back defective things right now, with all the public shaming, so i'll bet you can at least try a new one in a different color. good luck!
