Upload!!

Apex Stripe Cool Racerback

Baroque Blue Nice Asana Jacket

Baroque Blue hyperstripe Speed Tights

New Bandit Jacket

Flip Your Dog LS

New Fresh Teal No Limit Tank for Canada only right now

Also in CA only, new Groovy run shorts

New Happy Yin Year Hoodie. It looks short on this model.

New Happy Yin Year Sweatpants

Macro Micro Inspire crops - super tempting!

Petal Pop Speed Shorts - nice!

Canada got this waistband in Speed Tights - love the stripes in the back

New sheer luon SS Track Tee
Free to Be Wild Bra

There was a surprise upload tonight. Perhaps lululemon didn't want to make the normal upload too close to New Year's Eve. The items that tempted me the most were the Macro Micro Inspire crops, though I have a ton of run crops now and the Apex Stripe Baroque Blue Cool Racerback. I didn't get anything tonight, did you?

Update - I didn't even notice the Free to Be *Wild bra until someone pointed it out on one of my boards. I ordered the Silver Spoon to try. Not sure if it will work for me but if it does it will look pretty under a 105F Singlet.

I got nothing. The speed tights would've been mine had it not been for the stripe. Meanwhile the macro micro crops have me regretting missing out on the wunder unders in the same pattern.

My wallet is relieved. Phew.

Nothing for me either, although the new Happy Yin Year hoodie looks like something I will be trying on in store. I really like that light purple color!

I got the Baroque Blue Bhakti jacket...was hoping for the Nice Asana in the same colour but we didn't get it in Canada! :(

Went for the Macro/micro inspires - couldn't resist them! Also picked up the white parallel stripe LS Swfitly. The Canadians finally have their PS WUCs….

Wow! Such a surprise! Nothing to tempt me, though! Phew!

Nothing for me but Canada also got a Lavender Dusk Scoon Neck and a No Limit in Petal Pop. Waiting for those to show up in store. Anyone notice the Free to Be *Wild bra?! The straps on that take it a whole other level of complexity.

I got nothing.

I want the Bhakti jacket, parallel WUC and the new free to be. But.., Xmas has my cards maxed :(

Anonymous said...

Will be getting both free to be wilds once they're in store! I already love the free to be for pole class, and these are even prettier to show off!

Anonymous said...

Nothing jumped out at me. I might try the petal pop speeds at the store next week.

Anonymous said...

Free to be wild in black, and a plain white CRB.

Anonymous said...

Canada also got some wee stripe WU and crops. Really interested in those if they aren't sheer.

No disrespect to the model as from what I understand all models wear a size 6, thats the standard sizing. Which accounts for the fact that some items look too tight on some models and loose on others. However the really pretty dark haired model shown in most of the above photos has lost alot more weight recently and in all of her pant shots fails miserably to show the garment in its best light.

Anonymous said...

I would have picked up the PS WUC (Canadian side), but they are EVERYWHERE!!

I can't go to the mall without seeing at least 3 other girls wearing them and I wont even tell you how often I see them at the gym/yoga class.

I wouldn't mind if they were a basic print, but they are pretty loud and easy to recall to memory...

No nothing here either. I'm waiting on the Baroque Blue Forme.

Hi fellow lulu lovers! Dying for a fluff off vest in black in a sz6/8!! I have PS wunder under crops in a sz4 as a partial trade, a a few other lulu down vests, as well as a ton of other things to swap... Or will offer a handsome reward if someone can angel one! If you have one please contact me at mksaka@gmail.com thank you in advance and thanks LLA for allowing our ISO posts!

Anonymous said...

Yay, canada got the Bhakti jacket! Is this a size up item?

Anonymous said...

Striped Inspires and FTB Wild for me. I love baroque blue but I can't stand the strpes with it for some reason. The color they have on the stripes with Lavender Dusk is very pretty though . Lullaby I think?

Anonymous said...

Tempted by the track tee and petal pop speeds, but haven't bought anything.

Canada FINALLY got the parallel stripe WUC!!!
I ordered a pair in a 2 & a 4. They had all sizes except 10 & 12 this morning @ 7:30 Eastern.

Anonymous said...

They need to upload more tops (preferably tanks). Enough with the pants at this point...

Anonymous said...

I didn't buy anything. Most of it is of no interest to me. Something like the Bandit Jacket has '80s written all over it, ick.

The new Free to Be Wild bra looks pretty. I'm in no rush though and will check it out in store when it arrives.

Anonymous said...

Very frustrating that the parallel striped WUC were not made in size 10 or 12. More size discrimination. Thanks Lulu. :-/

These items look and feel like a throwback of the hideousness that was 2012; the colors, the color blocking, etc. Not interested at all..

ari @ whatarisaid said...

Why didn't we get the blue Bhakti jacket? I kinda want that. :/

Anonymous said...

LLA, I am tempted by the Macro Micro Inspire Crops, too! I ended up returning the PS Runday since I didn't think I needed both the WUC and Runday crops in PS, but these stripes are different enough, and seem flattering on the backside. Please provide a fit report if you are able to try them on at your store. Thanks & have a Happy New Year!!

Either the Canadian website didn't get the Free To Be Wild bra in silver spoon or it sold out fast. I like the pink straps but the silver grey looks a bit dingy. Hopefully they make more colour combos...that will be a hit! No surprise the blue Bhakti jacket is pretty well sold out online in Canada already. Another winner

Anonymous said...

nothing for me! I like the Track Tee, but it's similar to the Race Me tee. I already have several of those. I tend to wear tanks to run though. I'm glad those Speed Tights are hyper stripe--that takes away any temptation for me!

I think the Petal Pop is cute in the Speed Shorts. I prefer Groovy Shorts though.

Thank goodness everything is UGLY! The new Free to be looks like a spider web and what's with the granny colors again....

Does LLL ever make a jacket out of Rulu? All they seem to do so far are l/s tops and hoodies...I know they have one out for a while with rulu as the lining but have they done something similar to a Forme or Asana jacket where the main fabric is Rulu instead of Luon, with no waterproof outer?

Totally OT comment but I have a beef with Lulu using the waif so much. I personally prefer to see the clothes on a more typically athletic sized model. But personal preference aside... Why is the same waif modelling both the itty bracer bra AND the bitty bracer? It proves to me that the photos on the Lulu site cannot be trusted

I wish those sweat pants werent $100!! I would LOVE a pair of those, but nope. Nothing this time for me, but I expected that based on the leaks.

Anonymous said...

Just the parallel WUC I have been waiting on. Didn't expect to see an upload when I woke up this morning! Glad they weren't sold out :)
I bet this replaces tonights upload 100%.

Anonymous said...

Got the PS WUC FINALLY! And i also got the new micro macro inspires.

Any bhakti yoga in blue on the u.s.? I checked late. hoping they didn't sell out :(

I'm looking for WUP in Micro Macro black stripe, size 4, if anyone has a pair they want to unload. They are too overpriced on eBay. I can do cost+tax+shipping on Paypal very fast. Thanks.

@ anon 8:19 am - only Canada got the blue Bhakti jacket

stylista diva said...

Canada did get the Free to be Wild bra in black only - no other colors were uploaded. I was shocked that the stores actually had stock BEFORE online did with items like the Flip your Dog top, Bhakti jacket, PS stripe WU pant and crops. Usually stuff shows up online and in store after.

Anonymous said...

Blue Bhakti jacket was in the Bridgeport, OR store the day after Christmas.

Anonymous said...

I agree with you 100%. Nothing personal against the model but she does not show lulu clothing well. In the past I have passed on so many items modeled by her. When I saw them on another girl the items were actually nice and flatering. By then my size or color of preference is gone.

Anonymous said...

It's unbelievable walking in to a plus sized store and not finding my size 0-2. Oh the discrimination! Get real.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 5:51 am - The Parallel Stripe WUC were made in a 10 but for some reason North America did not get them. The pants were made up to a 10.

Anonymous said...

I think the model shows some items well and not others. She looks good in the bras that are made for small busted ladies and shorts that fit ladies with narrow hips. There are several things that lulu makes that are designed for ladies with small chests and I know to stay away from those since I am pretty large up top and need a lot of support. Anyway, I am really liking the speed shorts but I don't think the petal pop multi is really 4 way swift.

COMPLETELY AGREE with you @2:03 AM

That model does not sell clothes to me.

Anonymous said...

I don't mind the super skinny model, but I DO mind that they never put her in her proper size. If she's a size 2, just put her in a size 2 for goodness sake!

Anonymous said...

Anyone know what the pinkish color is on the Free to Be Wild bra is???

Anonymous said...

I also really dislike the fact that they use an underweight or reallly naturally thin model for the majority of new items. It's hard to tell what it's actually going to look like on an average or even slightly bigger weight person than her. IMO nothing looks flattering on her as she is all bones.
I highly depend on these blogs before I order online as I can't visit a store. I' a size 4, she must be a 2 in everything I always wondered why she was wearing baggy clothes if they make her wear a 6 that makes sense!

Anonymous said...

Funny how opinions differ :) I don't mind the "waif" because my body type is similar to hers. The sad thing is a lot of the things that look baggy and shapeless on her look baggy and shapeless on me, too!

Anonymous said...

I have a problem too estimating the fit of the garments modelled by the brunette girl with the bushy eyebrows. Unfortunately, she is in almost every picture. She would be great modelling anything else but athletic clothing. I, like Anon @9:30, avoid buying anything I see on her.

I'm curious about the micro macro stripe inspires. I LOVE my inspires for running and wear them to the gym as well. And I love that print. But the Micro Macro wunder unders I tried on were so sheer - I wonder if the inspires will have the same problem or if the Luxtreme will take care of it!

Anonymous said...

Woah there turbo! 10 and 12 isn't plus size.

Anonymous said...

I am 6'2 a model and a size 8 for most clothing. When I am not at my best I can wear a size 10 and I was a 12 when I was pregnant in some things. How is a 10 or 12 plus size? Get real. Not every woman is skinny or short and there is nothing wrong with a woman being 5'7 and a size 10 OR 12. We all have different shapes and sizes. Last time I checked everyone is beautiful in their own way. I don't think its size discrimination I think its poor planning or issues with production. But don't start making fun of 10's and 12's. Society gives women enough of a complex without comments like that. Those are normal sizes that are always carried there.

Anonymous said...

funny i was thinking the model had lost a lot of weight because i used to tell how items fit for me based on her- now she is much thinner than i am so i can't do so anymore- i am a solid size 6 i'd say she is now a 2 or 4- hopefully she isn't ill and maybe thats why the weight loss? if not maybe she has an eating disorder and if so that is very sad because she is a beautiful young lady! nothing for me on the upload but would love that borouk blue in a solid crb.

Anonymous said...

It's so weird to me that they are coming out with these old colors again so soon and even those teal/black stripes again that were so unpopular. The petal pop is just like spring is sprung too - it's all recycled from spring-13! I am very glad though because I have spent a boatload with all the recent cuteness and this makes it easy for me to cut back a little!

Deanna said...

I can't believe how quickly the grey and the black Flip Your Dog LS sold out on the Canadian site but is still in full stock on the US site. Either Canada doesn't get as many in stock online or the US doesn't have the same tastes in certain Lulu styles as Canada does

Anonymous said...

I actually like the model because she has a similar body type to me- naturally thin and small busted. So I appreciate lulu uses different models to show clothing. And usually when something doesn't look great on her it won't look great on me either. I think it's pretty rude to assume because she's thin that she has an eating disorder- I work with people who have eating disorders and she clearly does not. She is healthy for her size and there aren't any bones protruding in her pictures. It's not nice to comment on people's appearance period... Big or small.

Alicia said...

The model you guys are talking about is my favourite model and I did notice she has lost a bit of weight even though she was lean to start off with. I actually tend to buy more clothes that she models and I dislike another model because she doesnt look good in the lulu clothing. I'm not sure if its the angle she poses but it looks awkward. But then, we all have favourites.

Anonymous said...

I think it's a great solution to have the models wearing their natural sizes. The super slim model would look much more elegant, and sell the clothes bettter, if she weren't wearing sacks that hang off of her. In the same vein, perhaps there could be heavier fit models featured on the site as well. I find that when I am shopping for athletic clothing I gravitate towards clothing that is modelled by conventionally athletic looking women. Emphasis on "conventionally," because even in professional running, the athletes have highly diffferent builds depending on their distance (sprinters vs marathoners).

Also, there are plenty of people with eating disorders who look conventional, so it is just impossible to jump to conclusions about that type of thing,

Anonymous said...

Size 6 is the sample size so thats what they all have to wear.

Anonymous said...

My favorite model right now is the brunette with blue/green eyes. I don't look like her at all but most if the time she looks happy modeling what she's wearing. Anything looks good on her.

Anonymous said...

sorry no disrespect for the model who is thin, i am thin too for goodness sake i was just comenting on that i use her to compare how things will look on me we're similar in size shape etc. but she is thinner now than she used to be so thats why i said this also someone else noticed her weight loss too, so don't go hating on us please read the comments over again! no one was saying anything out of line- chill out will you!

Anonymous said...

@7:50 - she's my favorite too! She's beautiful and makes everything look great for the most part. I also think the model with the long dark hair and olive skin makes everything look fabulous too.

As for this latest run of product - none of it is appealing to me including colors and designs. I guess deep zin is gone and I never found anything that I loved in it. Was hoping for a Beat. Baroque deep zin crb. I like the idea of the in the flash shorts since they have actual shorts as a liner but am fairly certain they will end up in WMTM so I can wait on them.

Picked up a base runner long sleeve in pique over the weekend and love it. Tried on the herringbone forme jacket but felt like I was wearing a straight jacket. The size up just looked to big. I'm in between a 4 and a 6 and unfortunately that jacket doesn't work for me.
