Today, I tried on the Brisk Bloom Tame me tank. Just a warning for you… If you hate seeing your belly button through a shirt, than this top is definitely not for you. It is extremely sheer. you can sort of see it in the first photo, but it is much worse in person. That being said, I really love the tame me tanks, and I own three of them. The fit of the tank is still the same as this summers tank, so if you plan on ordering online grab your usual size. It is too bad on the sheerness because otherwise it would have came home with me.

Oh well… Hopefully those brisk bloom wunder unders will be in Canada soon.

I like the parallel stripe base runner but already got it in herringbone and prob dont need a second. I like the tame me pics a lot - I wish the mesh on the brisk bloom version wasn't so sheer!
The brisk bloom scuba looks really short in all pics I've seen.

Went to the store and tried on Parallel Stripe Base Runner Half Zip. I love the stripe but it made me feel dizzy looking at myself in the mirror… Fit is very nice and cozy but it was a NO for me  Instead, I bought Parallel Stripe Scuba and black and grey(?) striped open your heart LS. Love it!!

I typically take a straight 10 (5'8", 160, 36A). I'm fortunate to have 3 stores within 30 mins drive of me in Eastern MA. One of those stores is dangerously within 10 mins of my home, but it gets stocked well and I get to try things in without buying blindly on the web. Here's some fit info on the things I picked up:

1. Calm and Cozy: Sized down to an 8. It hits at my lower hip and is very cozy
2. Keep it Up pants: size 8 was very fitted but not in a bad way. The 10 was loose but allows me to wear a base layer, so I picked up a 10 in soot
3. Sunday Crops: I got 2 prs of 10 in solid black and parallel stripe. I already like these better than Inspires. They're thicker, more compressive and they hit 3 inches above my ankles. I was afraid of looking wide, but the seams are so flattering. AND they're not sheer.

Hope that helps someone.

OT: I can't believe this, but there's an Ebay posting asking $375 + shipping for a pair of Quiet Stripe WUCs with a stain on the butt. How gross is that?

my local store had already gotten and sold out of the Brisk Bloom WUs. i'm still hoping for the speed tights though. the Educator i spoke with didn't think they'd gotten those yet. she offered to check the website for me. um yeah. not up yet, but thanks.

OT- has anyone here tried Fabletics? I've been getting email bombed by them lately, and I finally checked it out...the stuff looks cute, and the prices are crazy cheap. Anyone?

that half zip base runner top is very nice. I am definitely going to check that one out.
I just received my pace setter skirt and scoop neck tank. Will be testing the skirt (paris perfection) for bleeding this weekend. the color is gorgeous by the way, nice and brilliant pink the cheer the dull winter days.

For anyone interested just tried on (and bought) runday in parallel stripe. Not sheer, absolutely gorgeous, nice compression, fits TTS. Surprisingly super flattering on my muscular size 8 thighs and butt.

Tried on a pair of the Brisk Bloom WUPS today in NYC and they are super sheer! Sad because the print is so pretty...

LLA- this is off topic, but, would you ever consider posting updated photos of your lulu collection?

@ anon 2:54 pm - Yeah, I need to do that. I've turned over quite a bit of my collection in the last few months.

@ anon 2:20 pm - I bought the same runway crops today. Totally concur - thicker, not sheer, compressive, and fun. I tried on the Brisk Bloom WUP and Practice Daily crops and did find them on the sheer side. I'd have to wear grayish undies with them and I preferred the Practice Dailys but didn't like the big print on my big thighs. I think they are super fun but when I like smaller, less contrasting prints on my legs, though I think this print has been looking gorgeous on other people in the photos.

@ anon 1:44 pm - it's one of those subscription clothing boxes where someone else picks your clothes for you (which I hate). Isn't it Kate Hudson's brand? Like she needs more money . I don't care for any of those monthly service things. Totally feels like a scam to me.

Was at my local store today and they had the Brisk Bloom CRB and it felt AWFUL!! Cheap, poly material. Sad, because I was looking forward to it but did leave with a Fleet Street Pullover. Has to be the softest most comfortable top ever.

This is a note to all the Canadians who bought a GW from the second wave restock... Keep your tags attached.

An educator at a local store said there have been talks about a markdown from store to store if they don't start moving. My 2 local stores LITERALLY have piles that are not moving. She says they made way too many GW and everyone is baffled why they dissapeared almost immediately the first time around, but now nobody really cares.

It is really sad.. I just bought a blue one that I really want to wear but I will wait it out. Aghh.. Gosh darn this cold weather

I got the Brisk bloom Wunderunders on Wednesday! They were sold out when I went on Thursday. I'm in canada

Ohh... Japan has a gorgeous pattern called 'black/quilt winter 2013' on their grooves... I hope North America gets it....

@ 4:16 PM, sounds about right. I think the Gratitude Wrap is unflattering (even on the cutest person) and regardless of its comfort factor, I do not get the hype. Wouldn't even purchase on markdown.

@ 3:52, thanks for the info on the Brisk Bloom CRB. Love the pattern but would have to see/feel it in person.

Markdown for GW already? God forbid they have something for sale for a month.. Why are they freaking out if something is in stores for longer than a week? I'll be pissed if they mark it down already..

Yes please on the socks… :)

anon 5:37, I concur not a fan of the gw! don't get it at all. all you lovers of this wrap you can keep them! I can not get into that hemline that drops down in the back- on anything I hate it to be honest and its everywhere. about those striped pants w/ the long black at the bottom- don't get those either- deal breaker for me w/ that long black band at the bottom- hideous to me otherwise I would have loved them- the fabric sounds like its nice and thick too- bummer for me and my very picky taste!!!!

I agree that the GW looks universally unflattering in photos...but, I took the plunge based on the hype and have to admit it's the perfect maternity piece! At 33 weeks pregnant, my regular size nicely covers my belly and rear and is super cozy. Doubt I will wear it much but right now in cold Canada I'm wearing it almost daily.
