Striped Swiftly, Ruffled Up Pullover, and Expect Another Upload Tonight

The black and white striped Swiftlys have hit the stores. The top photo is from an LA-area store.

Some more post-Chaturange pullover photos. This top has a rather masculine look to me.

The Ruffled Up Pullover photo.

I am reading there is supposed to be an upload tonight. I assume we'll be getting some of the black and white Brisk Blossom stuff now.

Ooh, I love that Swiftly! Christmas is coming! Hubby ordered two GW's for me this a.m. (deep zin size 2 and inkwell size 4, will see which one fits better if any at all). I'm that 5 foot shorty that didn't see all the hype, but I couldn't help myself when you guys all went nuts. We'll see if either of them works.

I too, think yogasmoga is ugly. The colors are dull (imo) and the designs are all very unappealing or boring. The big discount did not entice me in the slightest. I DO appreciate that it is made in NA though, I have to applaud that. I just don't personally like the style and don't wear the few pieces I bought to try the first go around.

Black & White Swiftly s/s looks like it could be OK. Maybe I'll take a look. Definitely don't need it though.

Agree LLA that the Post Chaturanga pullover looks masculine. At least the black/grey. I'll need to see it and try on. I'd probably rather get a Calm & Cozy jacket.

Hi LLA, as per your advise in the comments for the last post just ordered the yogasmoga tippy toe leggings in spanish grey/seattle mist and the yantra tank in violet twilight/mossaic grey. Thank you for your help.
The ruffled up pullover seems nice in the back, not sure about the front part. Guess I will have to go see it in the stores.

@8:42 PM - hey if you have the yogasmoga India blue pants/leggings or the crops in size 6, can I take them off of your hand. I love that color and the fit. If you are not wearing them and decide to sell them online, please leave me a comment here. I've already used my $75 discount on the new colors but a friend got the India blue and it is just exquisite. Thank you.

I'm 5' tall as well and I love the GW. I find it all cozy and comfy for winter. I sized down to a 2.

The new uploads are so ugly, is it just me?

Got my order from last week and love the base runner 1/2 zip in herringbone (snug TTS) and base runner hoodie in black (loose TTS) and keep it up pants (TTS, way more flattering on me than the website pix!) Very excited but that was a boatload of cash!

Ooh, anon@9:30, good to know! There is a lot of Lulu stuff that I am really too short to wear. I hope one of the GW'a works! Now I'm excited to get them. I usually get things a couple days after ordering.

@anon 9:56 I agree, the last three uploads were ugly

This other yoga clothing store's campaign of using this blog as a platform for their own marketing is lame. Its employees are so pathetic trying to pose on this blog as extremely satisfied customers, pointing out to others how to use their coupons, get in touch with CS (that is themselves), ship to Canada, find their correct sizing, etc.
Out of 5 positive comments on their average brand (and I am being kind here), at lest three are made by these moles.
Made me dislike their brand even more.
And it's true as someone else commented earlier, that after there is a review of/offer for their products, there is an overwhelming amount of positive comments for their brand in this blog.

This brand is far from being a competition for LLL. You can get a pair of their crops for $14.95 (new) right now on ebay. The highest listing for one of their bottoms is $72 (0 bids). Even lll sheer bottoms, bleeding CRB's, and jackets with shoddy seams sell for over retail price on ebay, and USED!

Anon 10:20 thank you for the fit review, I also want these exact three items!

@ 9:56 PM, no it's not just you. I don't get the hype regarding some of the items.

Any idea if these pants shown on this girl will be made available anytime soon? Love those. http://shop.lululemon.com/products/clothes-accessories/tops-short-sleeve/Run-Swiftly-Tech-Short-Sleeve-Print?cc=8641&skuId=3521598&catId=tops-short-sleeve

I agree about all the Yogasmoga stuff on this blog. Honestly, I'm SO turned off by the shilling and the moles. It doesn't appeal to me in the least, it's ugly and I HATE the name. I come here for hte LLL updates, not for the shilling.

+ 1 to the yogasmoga moles. i think the clothes are okay, fine even, but it's pretty transparent what's going on here. leads me to believe that the company might not be doing that well if they need to pump up a lululemon blog full of positive comments. turns me off really. and i love to find new brands - just not this way.

OT--Finally someone else mentioned the shilling by some users on comments for YS. Its too much.

+1000000! So tired of the constant YS shilling. It's a complete turnoff

If you think about it, it is brilliant for YS to use this blog for marketing. How many of us have bought sheer LLL and complained on this blog or waited with anticipation for someone to try on a new crop and report back if it is sheer? Count me in on that one. It's corporate competition at its best - one company falters and another is there with a brilliant marketing campaign to take over. Not that I think YS will take over but they are definitely doing a good job of getting their name out there.

While I don't find their designs in tanks/bras super exciting I am excited at the prospect of non-sheer crops and placed an order of Run Jump N Play crops in the light grey along with a basic black Yantra tank. I will receive my order tomorrow and will report out.

And no - I don't work for YS. Thank you.

Anon 4:14 what's so annoying is that people from YS pose as extremely knowledgeable and satisfied clients on this blogs, addressing every comment on the brand, while praising every item/color/design, as if we, the long time addicts of this blog, will not catch on that.

C'mon, just read comment 9:27 above in this thread. So typically YS to start a message with "hey" (haven't you received any emails from them?), and then notice that, when a real reader is indeed interested in getting an item "off the hand" of another real reader, we don't say "please leave me a comment here", we leave our email address right away and ask to be contacted!
And I can count with the fingers of one hand, the times I have read in here someone describe a color as "exquisite".

No, I do not have a lot of free time in my hands but I am professionally trained to analyze sensitive information, connect the dots and do profiling. So I only needed to read that message once to know it was just one more of the same kind I've been reading on this blog time and time again.

Each person's writing style is very unique: punctuation, grammar, choice of words, sentence construction, etc. You simply need to recognize a pattern, then things fall into it.

I don't think that YS is going to make it. and I find it hilarious that they are using this platform to advertise their product. i still think that LLL has much nicer stuff.
I have been meaning to go to their show room to see what all the noise is about. I also agree that the name is lame.
I will definitely report on here as soon as I see the stuff they are selling.

@ anon 6:55 am - I agree, you don't have to be professionally trained to spot a non-authentic blog comment, particularly if you've been here (or on the FB boards) for awhile and got a feel for typical feedback on lulu or other athletic wear brand. And, I agree, it's a major turnoff. The product should stand on its merits and not have to be pumped artificially. Let it grow organically. YS has a decent product. The fabrics are definitely very nice but the styles and fit need more work. The people I know who tried YS, especially with the $50 deal, on the whole seemed to really like it. However, lulu has a super loyal following because their fit is superb - industy-leading - and until a company replicates that, they are not going to beat them. And when I say fit is superb, I mean it makes regular people, who have poochy bellies, droopy breasts, and cellulite on their thighs, look as good as they can. Not that they make fit models look good. That is what lulu's competition has to aim for. One of my friends told me the reason she came to love lulu, is she has an apple shape, so a difficult shape for stretchy clothes, and when she put on lululemon she found it "transformative." For the first time in her life she felt she looked good in her exercise clothes and it made her want to work out more. I think that is what every hardcore lulu fan feels. Their exercise wear is transformative.

LLA: Amen

LLA: surprised to hear you say that. I've seen only about a billion comments in here in the last year or two with people complaining that with LL's new, cheapo fabrics, "my every lump and bump is now visible!"

Maybe they were industry-leading in flattering fit at one point, but not anymore. It's going to be a long, long time before I spend any of my hard-earned money on their crops/pants again, after all the issues they've been having. Some crops I got on sale from Athleta are basically zero-drama, completely opaque, extremely comfortable, and make my butt look amazing. And that's just one pair I randomly bought, on sale, yet completely secure in the knowledge that I could bring/send them back if they sucked.

That's basically how I look at Lululemon these days: WAY too much drama. I don't have the time to waste on omg is this sheer/omg how can I launder this so it doesn't fall apart/omg what size should I get since this is final sale/omg will this bleed if I dare sweat in it?????
If you ladies have the time to be freaking out about all of that kind of nonsense, then more power to ya, but I have better things to do.

@ anon 6:14 pm - I'm not talking about the fabrics so much as the fit - the waistbands holds in your tummy and are not mom-jeans high or there is seaming that cuts across your backside to make it look shorter and higher or seams are angled down the side of your leg to make your look thinner. They have prints on the bottoms, such as wee space, that are visually slimming. That type of thing. And while lulu has had bad batches of fabric, they often have had good ones. Their built in bras are the best I have ever tried and I am speaking as a busty woman. And don't get me started on the features. How many other companies are putting out running crops/pants with holster pockets, 2 gel pockets and a rear zip pocket.

I don't care about media drama. Reporters write articles as link bait. There is a reason lululemon has a very loyal following and has a high resale value on ebay.
