Pique Vinyasas In US Stores!

Ruh roh, the Pique Vinyasa scarves are in the stores now. Yet another reason for you to head back there this week. ;-)  This is from a US store.

New Grooves, Paris Perfection Cool Racerback, and Paris Perfection No Limit tank. These photos are from a lulu showroom so I hope they will be hitting regular stores soon. Anyone seen any Paris Perfection items in their regular stores yet?

The Black and White striped Swiftlys. The top photo is interesting because you can tell she is wearing the reversible Paris Perfection Wunder Unders in it. I think the color is only "bleeding" through so obviously because a flash was used.

Deep Zinfandel Gratitude Wrap. I like the bottom slightly cinched like this.

Post Chaturanga Pullover and Paris Perfection Wunder Unders.

Paris Perfection Wunder Unders with a Swiftly striped tank and Ruffled Scuba.

I hope we don't crash the site with that Pique Vinyasa.. hopefully tonight (wednesday upload right?)

My Northern VA store had Paris Perfection items in stock, but the WU pants were already sold out in size 4. They were still unpacking boxes of the mini check Vinyasas and had the GW's out on a rack in all colors ready to go on the floor. Not many purple or blue left though, even though it didn't look like they had been out on the floor yet, so wondering if the sales associates already grabbed those??? The lace, bow and ruffle tanks were also out and a few of the WUs but those were already mostly sold out.

I ADORE my pique vinyasa. I so wish they would release it in colours, like they on Ivivva. I'd love to add a DZ pique vinyasa to my life!

Hi, I'm still a relatively new (but obsessed) Lulu customer. can you confirm if the Pique vinyasa is Rulu? I've accumulated 3 already and want to add this pattern to my collection only if it is Rulu. :) Thanks and keep the posts coming. I look forward to them EVERY DAY!

I was at the store in Shrewsbury, NJ today and they had the Paris NLT and CRB. I ended up coming home with the Zinfandel GW - I sized down from my usual 6 to a 4. I thought it was super cute. I had ordered the black one Monday AM but I will return it (I like the purple color better I think after seeing it in person). I also came home with the new burnout SS - I think it's called Just be? It's a great basic.

@9.11am I think we'll definitely be crashing the site with the pique vinyasa! I dont think I can resist.
OT i dindt realize the Yogasmoga deal was even better than I thought. I earned a ton of smogi bucks for this time and last time orders -cashing them in now- pleasnat surprise. i wish the black/grey ballerina legging wasnt sold out.

Gratitude Wrap does look cute cinched! LLA is there going to be another upload this week? And what happened to any camo?

I went to my local store today with every intention of picking up the POst Chaturanga pullover in grey. I'm typically a 10 (5'8" 160# 36A), but needed to size down to a 6 for a better fit. But I couldn't make peace with those kangaroo pockets! They looked great standing still, but as soon as I moved, I looked pregnant. What woman wants to look pregnant when she's not?! So I left with a Calm & Cozy fleece jacket instead. I did size down to an 8.

Love my pique vinyasa from last year.

A friend of mine has the black swan/raspberry glo reversible wunder unders. You can clearly see the pink through the black swan side. Clearly. No flash required. So I wouldn't bank on it being only the flash making it show through.

This is a great lulu scarf to have in one's collection, it's extremely soft and cozy, that is, assuming lulu hasn't changed the fabric content for the worse. It's my favorite among the (too)many vinyasas I own.
Not sure why (since it is not made of natural fabrics), but mine has only gotten better with the time. If I were to buy another one, I would get it used.
Ironically, I got mine from the WMTM about three years ago, when I didn't even know what "pique" was. Three/four years ago there wasn't such a hype about Pique and since (to be honest) it is not visually very attractive, it ended up in markdown at a very low price. That't why I ordered, even when I don't really like black scarves. But every winter I am very happy I did.

As pretty as that vinyasa is, I already have the black and gray hyper stripe one. I can't justify getting this one too. If they would come out with a color- like DZ, Surge or inkwell in pique I would be thrilled!

LLA Paris Perfection has been available in stores here in florida since friday.

What pants is the educator in the Paris perfection crb photo wearing?

does anyone know if that vinyasa is in canada yet too?

Got my pique vinyasa in store today. Striped swiftly tank already sold out in my size, boo :(
Did get the ruffle speeds - last pair. Most the time my store doesn't even get stuff until well after upload but for some reason, had everything now.
Tried the GW and can't say it did anything for me. In fact, the inner snaps bunch up when fastened and the stitching that shows on the outside where the snaps are sewn looks, from a distance, like you spilled on yourself. PCP is cozy but the collar is sooooo stiff. Tried to pimp the GEC about whether DHBH is coming but she wouldn't budge, so no info, LOL!

A handful of Paris perfection items are now in the two nearest stores to me. One of them has the brisk broom headbands in (first sighting in my state--Yay!)

I got my GW and PC pullover today. I LOVE the GW (I got heathered black and DZ) just trying to decide between the 2 and the 4. Both fit, I think I like the fit of the 2 better in the body but the thumb holes feel nicer in the 4. That sounds really lame. The 2 is a little snugger, but I actually like my lulu jackets a bit on the tight side.

My PC pullover... most likely going back. I want to love it so much because I want a sherpa fleece jacket. It's just very unfortunate on me. I'm a petite girl (5'5, 110lbs, size 0 for reference) and I'm swimming in the 4. It's too baggy through the midsection and long. I wouldn't mind the length if the hem was tighter so instead it just hangs funny. It looks like I am wearing someone else's jacket. I could probably take a 2 in it but of course they don't make it. Plus if I'm forking over $100+ on some fleece, I don't want it to look like it came from Old Navy (no offense, I love that store too).

Well now I don't have to feel guilty tonight during the upload because the PC is going back. Also trying to decide if DZ GW should stay in my collection. Not sure how much of my stuff it will match...

Nashville has Paris Perfection items in already, including the CRB, Power Y, and NLT.

Has anyone noticed the black pique wonder unders are extremely thin? I figured they would be similar to the herringbone :(

Getting impatient for the brisk bloom WUPs.... They've been teasing them for so long and still no spotting of them! I asked my eds today and they had no idea what "brisk bloom" was... Haha

Anonymous said...

got my live simply in the light gray today was so excited- dashed when I tried it on, not the same as the release 2 years ago, it is super thin and I think that's why the fit is off too its way too big and barrel like not the same figure hugging fit like the other one almost like a bad knock off at a cheap store does, really too bad, funny the pix of it on the model didn't look bad I still can't believe how bad it was, took it back to my local store and exchanged for the swiftly tank in the new white w/ tiny black stripes thoughout.

OMG JUST got my pkg today with my Zinfandel GW! I'm wearing right now so comfy and warm. I'm glad I got my regular size and not sized down, sleeves are slim fit and not too long. So happy :)

I have to preface this unpopular comment by saying that I love this blog and am a total Lulu junkie. I spend hundreds of $$ at Lulu every month.

But recent comments have made me feel really sad.

People who are miffed that they could not purchase every colour of the GW. People who are offended about yoga smoga comments being on a Lululemon blog. Are there really people out there who are truly moved to offense and despair over buying clothes that they don't need?

How you spend your hard earned money is your business. But please think about better ways to use your money and energy sometimes. I work with children, many of whom are underprivileged. One child gets only one new hoodie and one new pair of pants PER YEAR. Of course he is a 7 year old boy so his clothing is in shreds by December. He still has to make do until next fall.

If there is ONE person out there who chooses to use any portion of the money they save from being unable to buy the latest sold out Lulu item to help someone less fortunate - especially a child who cannot help his or her situation - I would be so happy to reeceive the rotten tomatoes coming my way

LLA- Is there supposed to be an upload tonight?

Park Meadows Colorado has some Paris Perfection too. I haven't seen it but I got the pn today for a push ur limits, crb, power y luon and ftb bra all in PP. It looks so pretty but I'm scared of bleeding.

@ anon 4:40 pm - there is typically WMTM tonight and if they keep to the pattern of last year there will be some new items as well tonight.

Anonymous said...

Anon 4:35 ??? Really? You spend hundreds of dollars a month on lulu and then accuse 100% of the blog readere for not using money to help the less fortunate?? You capitalize the word one like none of us do it. How rude. I work with underprivileged kids myself and it pays jack. So I give them my heart and energy but not my money. I feel lucky that I can buy a LLL piece here and there because it's a treat for me and the one thing that I indulge in. I come here to see reviews and thoughts so that I can be very sure that I am making a good choice with my hard earned money. You must have money from another source if you spend what you say you do and you work with underpriviledged children. It really bugs me when people make such blanket statements. You must have a pretty cynical view of the world. Most of the people that I know with money do help others. And they enjoy it themselves.

Kudos to you 4:35 pm - nothing but butterflies and roses from me. AMEN!

I am going to be up all night to make sure I don't miss those ruffled speed shorts!! Being on the east coast stinks... lulu uploads always happen around 1am! I went to the store today and they were all sold out of the ruffled speeds and said they wouldn't get any more in stock because they were special edition. I cannot miss this upload!!! Also-- lots of brisk bloom and paris pink at the store and new speed tights!

dry chic said...

Soooooo thin! Im returning mine sadly:(

Anonymous said...

@LLA do you think the ruffle speeds will get uploaded at some point? I asked my store today and they said they didn't think they were ever going to get them :(. Also any idea when those teased brisk bloom WUPs will get uploaded? I want them as a gift for Xmas and getting impatient since only a bit of time left to order online in time! Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I'm wearing my ruffle WUP from last weeks upload, they are comfy and seem thicker (full on luon), they are only a tad too long for me (I'm 5'4) so the hard seam going down theback of the leg feels a bit odd.. but they are super cute.
I'm hoping to get the coco pique wup soon! & maybe the pique vinyasa.. i have a pink pique scarf from ivivva and its so comfy.

Anonymous said...

I just want to give everyone a friendly warning about those reversible wunder unders. The reason you can see the pink through the black is because they quality is poor. I have seen a woman at my gym in these and if she stretches even the slightest bit, you can clearly see the pink underneath the black. Reversible shouldn't mean that they scrimp on fabric quality and just sew two different colored pieces together. And for the price these pants retail for!
They are not opaque…it isn't "just the flash" in the photo. Expect to see the underside of these if you plan do any activity in them.

Also, I would like to acknowledge the anonymous comment left by the individual who works with underprivileged youth. I am glad to read your post. I think you are absolutely correct. We're privileged enough to have choices about how we spend our money and we don't NEED Lululemon clothing. We are fortunate enough that we can buy it. If you don't get a specific item because it sells out, oh well. You'll be ok. I'm not bashing anyone or how they choose to spend their money, but I think the gentle reminder left by the reader who works with less fortunate youth gives us something to remember…especially as the holidays approach. There are so many people who have little to nothing and who are struggling to get by. I'm certainly glad to be reminded of that and will make sure I make local donations for those in need in the next few weeks. I don't need these clothes…and I'm getting more picky about what I will spend my hard earned money on. Lululemon needs a few tweaks…quality issues and Chip Wilson's mouth have certainly cast an ugly shadow on the brand. I'm a bit disenchanted.

What time does lululemon usually download new items online? I'm in EST time. Thx:-)

Well said. Not an unpopular post in my mind - especially during the season of giving.

Anonymous said...

i wonder if the new pique vinyasa is the same pique material as the base runner ls released a bit ago - both sides look the same as both sides of the black version of that shirt -
I almost bought one as I just loved them but the inside seams were a bit of a problem so I couldn't do it. if the vinyasa is that material then I will be definitely buying one! what do you all think??

Anonymous said...

I agree about the reversible WUs. I tried on the surge/inkwell a few weeks ago. Not only could you see the surge through the inkwell side with the slightest bend, they also felt squishy and weird. I wish they would release normal WUs in the fun colors. I would be all for the reversibles (duh, 2 pants in 1!) if the quality wasn't so poor.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 9:28 pm - yeah, the reversible solid colored WUs I've tried before tend to feel spongey to me. On one hand, they are thicker than a one color item but the downside is the odd feel.

If anyone has a size 6 gratitude wrap that they are returning....I'd love to buy it off you. Preferably in Canada to avoid duty. My colour preference is Zinfandel, then inkwell, then black/grey. I have a Zinfandel size 8 that is a little too big, so I'm willing to trade, but only if I can get a 6. My local store said someone came in and bought all their size 6s! Wtf? eBay. Email me at wargar at hotmail dot com. Thanks!

I'll be mad if there is no upload tonight... :P

Upload!!

Anonymous said...

Whew! I just checked eBay to see of it's flooded with GWs... Then I looked at the sold listings. Highest price was $450 for a used one. Madness!

Anonymous said...

I have 2 pr of WUP reversible rom last fall 2012 beaming blue/ black & tender violet/ black & both are opaque. Again quality issues in 2013 continue. What do expect when they are made in sweatshops overseas?

I can't decide whether to keep my GW or return it! I think it's super cute in the front, but the back is a bit long.. and the stitching on the front buttons makes it look like the buttons fell off. but its super comfy and i love the color (i got the deep zin). if it weren't so pricey i'd definitely keep it. AND i just ordered the pique vinyasa.. *sigh*

Anonymous said...

@sb- you have a little more time to decide about returns now that we are in the holiday shopping season. :)

Anonymous said...

Ruh roh? What does that mean?

LuluAddict said...

Are you familiar with Scooby Doo?

I think the return policy should be the same all year round.

I can't believe those ugly GW things are going for that kind of money.

Your attitude is ugly. We get it, you don't like the GW. A lot of us do and will buy it. I personally wouldn't pay $400 for one but some ladies do. Their money to spend as they wish.
