I'm sorry…I must be the only person who isn't particularly moved by any of the bloom prints or the parallel stripes. I just don't think any of this is spectacular.

Anyone else hoping the next upper management changes will mean major quality improvements? I am hopeful!

The parallel stripe runday crops make the headless girl appear a lot wider than she probably actually is. Won't even be trying these.

@ anon 1:19 pm - that is what I am afraid of in the parallel stripe WUCs everyone is waiting for. I tried the parallel stripe base runner ls on yesterday and it made me dizzy.

the new brisk bloom wu are sheer - kinda glad because I have put myself on a lulu diet and cannot buy anyway! tried on the parallel run crops and they are kinda cute but not for me. the stripes hide sheerness but it is definitely a very thin material.

I liked the parallel striped wuc initially. Now I,m not so sure...a touch zebra-like. I went to Yorkdale to see if they have it. Apparently, the store got their shipment last week and sold out the striped crop in one day. Oh, well. You get some, you lose some.

The forme/calm and cozy are brisk bloom right? Not beautiful baroque? lol too many different prints in diff colors!

Tried on the parallel stripe run day crops, and they were not sheer at all. Unfortunately, you have to have a certain look to be able to pull off all those stripes, and that is not me. I looked like a dork! I also tried the parallel stripe base runner. I liked the regular one, but the double zipper one made me dizzy!

I did score a cute ear band at the Ivivva store for $12.00. The Lulu ones are too big for my tiny pinhead, and the kid one fit me great. It's grey pique.

The brisk bloom wup were sheer on me in my normal size, but I sized up and couldn't see the pattern on my pink and blue striped underwear so I went ahead and got them.

LLA - I see the same issue as in a later post... interchange beautiful baroque with "brisk bloom"... that quarterly earnings report must have worn you out!

LLA - did you mean to say brisk blossom or beautiful baroque in a couple of your descriptions here?

Just rcvd my weekly lulu shipment (hiding all tell-tale signs b4 BF comes in).

I got the parallel stripe blackwhite/black Run Day crops. Love, love, love. I bought for the stripe and fell in love with the crop too. Could be my new Inspire. Love the fabric. Not sheer, super soft. Higher waist is super comfortable. Crops fit like a glove. TTS

Also got the Speed Tight (my 4th pair) in brushed interlock - the old Cozy. Black with waist 1/2 brisk bloom, 1/2 parallel stripe blk/wht, pink perfection top of waist. Another love fest. Again TTS.

Got the black and white prisoner bar stripe in the l/s base runner. Fabric is thicker than the inkwell/surge jersey version. black/wht wide stripe is interlock. Because of the armpit scratchy issue I went with an 8 vs a 6.

love,love, love my lulu!

Those pink In the Flow crops - do anyone know if they are Raspberry or Paris Perfection?

Wonder where the Parallel Stripe WUC are made in..

Parallel WUC are 88% nylon 12% Lycra and made in Cambodia.

I'm impressed. Thick, luxurious, favourite pair in a long time. They were flying off my local stores shelves.

I actually want the parallel stripe WUC I do think that they are pretty flattering and fun at the same time and could be used casually as well.
I didn't see them at my local lulu store. in NYC.

I want to like the parallel stripes but all I see are pajama bottoms, particularly with the runday crops with the solid black cuff.
