Merry Christmas and Upload!

Merry Christmas everyone! Lululemon broke pattern and uploaded new items and new We Made Too Much earlier this morning. I was so glad to see three tanks I've recently bought on markdown :(. None of the new stuff floats my boat too much except for the blue Bhakti jacket, which I'll need to try on in the store, but I did buy an extra pair of Dog Runner pants since I love them so much.

Did you order anything?

Merry Christmas LLA and all of the other addicts!! I didn't purchase anything new, and nothing made it to MD that I had previously purchased. I am considering the Harmonious Hoodie and Keep it Up jacket and pants, but never made it to a store to try on, so I'm not sure of sizing.

Canada finally got the PS WUP's uploaded!:)) Not fond of the pastel schemes-easy pass. I bet the new Petal pop multi will be the design for this years Lulu Cycling Kit, which would be nice but it is quite close to last years….:)

Is what uploaded to WMTM the Boxing Day upload?

What a surprise to wake up to! Knowing I wouldn't get any lulu for Christmas presents, I treated myself and got that new yoga jacket and then some things from wmtm - the winter sprinter hoodie (love mine), the keep it up jacket I'd been eyeing, the 2 in 1 run tank and the dog runner pants. Merry Christmas to me. :p

was the blue bhakti jacket uploaded and sold out already? all I saw was the white and black versions.

On the US side it wasn't, I'm pretty sure because i saw the upload before I went to bed at 11pm Arizona time. -v

@ari @ whatarisaid - how did you find the sizing on the keep it up jacket? I had to go with a size 12 in the Fluff Off and Fleecy Keen jacket, but am usually a 10 in most LLL tops.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:34 am - I found it a snug TTS so if you want to run in it I'd go up a size.

I ordered the raspberry NLT and a pair of dog runner pants from wmtm. Plan to swing by my store tomorrow to make a return and see if there are any deals that I can't pass up. Merry Christmas, LLA, and thanks so much for the heads up!

Happy Christmas! We were up late watching the National Lampoons Vacation marathon, so I went to town during commercial breaks. Got two drish tees, dog runners, energy bra, and bought a few things for DH as well.

Wow, really boring upload.

It wasn't uploaded to the cdn site.

Not on the cdn site.

LLA, thanks for the sizing info!!

Any reviews on Uba Hoodie?

Ugh - just tried to order some stuff from WMTM but I can't put anything in my cart! Stupid Lulu web site!!!

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays everyone! Managed to score a few things off WMTM I had already purchased full price just before Christmas and left the tags on ... will take the pre-Christmas purchases back to the store and keep the sale ones (for a 100.00 total savings!!) Well worth the 15 min drive to the store :) Besides I'll turn around and spend that in a heartbeat haha!!

I got the daily bra from WMTM. I am only 32C so hoping it will be comfy & cute enough to wear casually. Also a sweater from the Ivivva sale that i've been wanting for awhile but didn't want to pay full price.

I am thinking about the brisk bloom WUC but not sure I can pull off flowered leggings? I would like to try them on in store but that would require actually going to the store :(

I saw the carry me om tote I just bought for full price on WMTM. I was planning on returning it anyway, so I wasn't too disappointed.

Dog runner pants for me.

Would also like to order the keep it up pants but I have not tried them on before. I'm 5'4" and 115 lbs, lean petite and a bit of booty and belly. I normally wear a size 4 but many of the online reviews say to size down. I don't want to be a sausage in them so any input would be fabulous.

Also eyeing the yeah yoga bra in deep zin but have not tried that on either. Love the color and the fact that is higher in the front.

Thanks - Merry Christmas to all.

I ordered the chevron dot enlighten and expand tote from WMTM. Waiting for a new vinyasa scarf pattern.

Merry Christmas, LLA and fellow blog followers! Does anyone know if you can return an online purchase paid through paypal to a store? I plan on taking back some items to a store, but I remembered I paid for the items online via paypal. Thanks in advance for your help!

my husband gave me a gift card for Christmas! i didn't order online, but do plan to hit the store first thing tomorrow morning. i had just returned some Dog Runner pants, so i'm hoping those are still in the store and I can pick them up at the sale price. i'd also like to get a Swiftly tee in the new Baroque Blue (so pretty). i was hoping the Gratitude Wraps would be marked down. oh well.

Merry Christmas!
I am tempted to order PS WUP on the Canadian side... Is it crazy to be holding out for the PS WUC?

Ordered a few WMTM goodies, white scoop me up tank, pretty pink power y, raspberry aria tank, enlighten & expand tote. Also ordered the reflective fly away tamer.

ari @ whatarisaid said...

@lauren - yes, I did the other day. They just ask you for a card to put the $ on, I don't think it had to be the same card you used thru PayPal.

Anonymous said...

Lauren F-
I have returned paypal purchases to the store. They just put the credit on my credit card. Good luck!

ari @ whatarisaid said...

@anon 8:34 I'm usually a 6-8 in tops and the 6 fit me fine, was able to wear a swiftly underneath.

Anonymous said...

Are the Dog Runner TTS. I wear a 2 in studio crops/pants but usually get a 4 in Wunder Unders

Lauren, I buy online w Paypal and return to store…but usually spend as much as I brought back so not sure if they can refund your paypal.. But I know they will for sure give you at least a store credit

Anonymous said...

If you pay by Paypal they'll issue a credit to another credit card or you can get a gift card your choice. At least that's what they did or me at my store. But you have to have e receipt.

Anonymous said...

@ Lauren F: yes you can, I have done it without problems.

Anonymous said...

@Lauren F- yes you can absolutely return online purchases paid by PayPal to stores! I do it all the time at my store. They will have you run the card you want it to be credited to.

Anonymous said...

Lauren F: you will be able to return anything bought via the online site, even if you paid using PayPal. My one and only local store has kicked up a fuss before, saying they need proof linking the paypal account to the card I wanted it back on so I printed out my credit card statement. Having said that, I've not had another problem since then. It sometimes depends on which educator you get and whether or not they want to be fussy.

@8:44am RE: Uba Hoodie SE...
http://luluaddict.blogspot.com/2013/01/love-red-and-polar-cream-uba-hoodie-se.html

It used to be called the Uba Hoodie SE...I see Lululemon changed the name and deleted all the comments...Hope this link helps. I LOVE the jacket so so much and would definitely recommend you buy it. TTS-like all the women in the link are definitely wearing their size, really stretchy fabric which softens the more you wash it, and longer than the Scuba as you can see by the pic on the link. Extremely flattering on all body types cuz its stretchy and hugs yet skims over my boobs, muffin top, and mommy pooch so its slimming yet accentuates my female body.

A Christmas upload is kinda annoying. Can I have Christmas Day not to be distracted by uploads?

Does the Dog Runner pant make noise when you walk? Like a swish?

@Anon 11:46 --- I sized down in the Dog Runner Pants. I usually do an 8 in lulu bottoms, but needed the 6 in those. I also have 6s in the Studio Pants (except last winter's lined studio pants I ended up needing to size down to a 4).

As for this AM's upload, I grabbed another pair of the Dog Runners and a pair of the socks. Merry Xmas indeed :)

No one is forcing you to check the website or buy anything on Christmas. If you don't go online, you can't be annoyed right?

Where the eff are the parallel stripe crops on the Cdn site?

A few stores in my area got them in limited quantity and they were gone in an hour. In other words , I missed them. I got the WUP but really wanted crops.

Hey, CANADIAN company! how about putting your CANADIAN customers on at least an equal basis as elsewhere?

Anonymous said...

So would it be ok to return a jacket I bought at full price and order a replacement from the wmtm site?
It is a 30 difference.

@ anon 4:52 pm - I would.

@ 9:16 AM re the Keep It Up pants:

I have these and I sized down. I'm 5'3", 118lbs, fairly muscular (I do a lot of squats), and am a TTS Lulu size 4 in bottoms. I sized up on the herringbone WU (so a 6) and down to a 2 in the Keep It Up pants. I tried the size 4 and I had too much material in the crotch at butt areas - they really looked too big and the waist was loose, I would have been able to run in them. The 2 does not give me muffin top and while the thighs are snug they are not 'sausage' tight, if that makes sense. They skim my calves (and my calves are fairly large for my size, I have a hard time with tall boots) and are loose at the ankles. My size down fits me like the model in the photos, perhaps a tiny bit more snug across the front of the thighs. From my experience I'd say definitely size down!

I wasn't the original poster, but based on your review I ordered one. As a SAHM of a toddler, I appreciate all of you ladies that take the time to share your fit reviews and experiences. It's exceptionally challenging for me to get to a store, much less alone to be able to try something on. Thank you LuluAddict and contributors!

Any other experiences of needing to size up or down in dog runners? I see that at least one person has sized down. I'm bummed that sz. 6 sold out before I could snag a pair, and am contemplating sizing up to an 8, or maybe down to a 4. FWIW, I'm a pretty consistent 6 and don't own any 8 bottoms, and my only 4 is a pair of 6 or 7 year old sweats (I think named "Lulu pant"). I really like the looks of these pants, but I'm just reluctant to pull the trigger and risk being stuck with too-big pants!

Anonymous said...

I sized up in the Dog Runners (usually wear 10 on bottom, but was more comfy in 12 in these), and bought two more pairs on WMTM (great price!) as I love the pair I have so much! Anon 2:45 PM, there is a very slight swish, but it's a soft swish - not like that loud plastic-y swish a lot of shell pants have.

8:09 pm - thank you!

My hip measurement is spot on the hip measurement in the lulu size chart for size 12 and I found the size 12 Dog Runners perfect, without any extra room.

Wondering how much grief I would get at the store if I find the jacket on MD in store and buy it and return the other full price on the spot. I would definitely be using the extra money for lulu merchandise.

I love it! I bought it previously and coundnt justify the 160 price tag before Christmas but I bought it in navy for 99!

Hey Lulu world :) I have a question for anyone who may have the answer...I purchased the Sweat Once a Day bag in silver on Dec 17th (for $128) tags are still attached. Last night I noticed lulu posted the exact bag in their WMTM loot for $89. I put it in my cart with the intention of buying it for the sale price and taking the full price bag back for refund...but it sold out before I could check out! Sooo I'm just wondering if I took the bag I have back to the store will they honour the sale price and reimburse me the $50? Or is is too late? I don't even know if Lulu does this I'm just curious :) Thank you!!!

@ Anon Dec 26th 7:14am No, they won't.

Thank you everyone!

Did you purchase it online? If you purchased it online, I would call. Just be pushy. I was in a similar situation & had to have a supervisor call me back, but I got the price difference.
If you purchased it in store, they need to have the item in stock (at markdown price) in order to give you the price difference. Plus you need to have your bill & the item in question with tags attached. However, if they had the bag on markdown at the store & it just sold out, they might have the "markdown price" in the store's system & might be willing to give you a price adjustment.
Good luck!

They won't be accepting returns on boxing day, but you have until Jan. 12 or something like to return items bought since the start of Nov. I believe.

to those asking about the keep it up pants. those are similar to the urbanite pants. I am 5'-3" 117# but my hips are pretty narrow 37" I think that if you have curvy hips sizing might not be so easy.
I got the keep it up in a size 6. I don't like super tight pants. I also got the paisley swiftly long sleeve in the cream color and the booby bracer, I tried that one on at the store and really liked it but could not get myself to pay the original price.

Thanks everyone for the Uba Hoodie feedback - I just got one in Inkwell in store today.

Anonymous said...

@ 6:31 AM, who cares what they think, just do it. They have to honour the return. Plus, they refuse to do price adjustments. They actually make it a hassle and they know it.

Bhakti Shorts, whatever. For me, now that I wear actual Shakti shorts for hot yoga, I'll never go back. I don't even care for Boogie Shorts anymore either.

I am the original poster on the jacket return/rebuy scenario above. I am overjoyed to report that I asked if they make adjustments today and the manager was standing right there and said it depends on the item and something about online vs store. Anyway I had the item with me, showed her and they made the adjustment for me. I was buying a tank as well and it pretty much covered the tank except five dollars. I was thrilled! Saved me the hassle of buying online and returning, which I said I would do if I needed to. I have had good customer service today. I had my ring cleaned Monday and Tuesday I looked down to see a stone missing, the store is replacing the stone for me, thankfully. The clerk at macys made an adjustment on a price for me today because the coupon wouldn't work too. It was a nice trip to the mall!!
