Winter Orchid Base Runner LS, Base Runner Pant, and More

Ok, I wasn't really loving the Base Runner LS until I saw the Winter Orchid one. I might order this one. Also show with rulu base runner pants. I remember ordering a pair of running luon sweat pant-looking things last year and I am totally blanking on the name of them now. (Update - it was the Make A Move pant.)
Fluff Off Jacket and a new Winter Orchid and Deep Zinfandel Ear Warmer. I think I need that ear warmer, too - love the purples.

Fleecy Keen jacket and Base Runner Pants.

Those sweatpants are adorable. I love that they might actually not be too long on me- they look pretty short on the model.

I wonder if the fluff off jacket is a size up item.

What is the price point on the Base Runner LS?

$88

Base Runner looks like a onesie top. :(

I will get the Base Runner l/s! I have a similar one from last year forget what it's called (not the Turanaroud LS), in black great pique/reverse to stripes (like the pictures below show), except it has the insert of solid material (luxtreme?) down the sleeves and the back. It is SO comfortable. Wearing it right now :)

I want that fluff it up jacket. Not sure if it's a necessary item for Southern California though. Maybe if one of my stores gets it in this week I'll go look. Actually planning on sleeping through the upload tonight :x

Fluff Off jacket is TTS. Size down one size for the Fluff Off pullover

I love all this.

Totally OT, and thankfully I ask this under the cloak of anonymity. The only shorts I run in are Speed Squad Shorts from '12 (because my thighs rub!), so I have never ventured into running with my Speed Shorts (which I love to wear casually). Do you all still wear panties, or does the liner function as a substitute?

TIA!

Thank you Anon 4:47 PM!

My wish list for tonight: beautiful baroque crb, surge crb. New speed shorts!! Just throwin it out there ;)

Speed shorts question: the liner functions fine. Underwear is totally unnecessary & probably really uncomfortable under there.

uh oh, i heart lightweight down stuff! i think that down jacket looks like it would be great as a winter coat in southern CA. (i don't live there but i imagine you need something somewhat warm on some evenings! and on airplanes.)
for me it looks like it could function like my patagonia down sweaters, of which i have 2, but neither is a neutral color like that Fluff it Up one that appears to be gray. they always make the men's in nice earthy colors but not the women's. might have to cave and get that one; hopefully they will drop the price but i think it's in line with other similar down jackets by other companies.

i just posted about the down stuff: that should have said "Fluff Off" jacket - i was reading another comment that said Fluff it Up and i couldn't remember the correct name.

I'm not impressed with the Base Runner LS. The mesh panels and weird ruffle on the neck are unnecessary and not cute (and this is coming from a girl who loves her ruffles and feminine details!). Oh well. I can understand why the TA LS isn't making a comeback for now given the similar color palette that we saw in 2011 (Raspberry = Paris Pink, Black Pique is the same, and Zin Purple is sorta kinda similar to Plum I guess). Nothing compares to the TA LS in my opinion though.

I hope they will have the colored pique for wunder unders!

Did anyone else find the Open Your Heart LS alarmingly long? I'm usually an 8 - it was so baggy I tried on the 6, but even then it was too long. It covered my butt entirely, plus a few inches, and wrinkled weirdly over my butt. I wanted something that would cover me up behind, but I have dresses that are this length on me!

And I'm 5'5", so not particularly short, either.

@ anon 6:36 pm - I agree. I love the Turn Around LS and wish they had just re-released it in new colors. It's the perfect top - flattering cut and no embellishmenets. I also really like the reversible feature of it a lot and this new top is not reversible.

Regarding the speed shorts question, I go either way. When running, I always wear underwear. I've never tried going without but I'm sure it's fine, just personal preference. If I'm doing hot yoga, I go with just the liner.

I know :(. I so heart the turn around long sleeves. I have 4 colors but I should have gotten all 6. Ugh

I wear speed shorts daily for every single activity (crossfit, running, hot yoga). I can't imagine wearing underwear with them. But then again I tend to go commando whenever possible :p but seriously, they are the best shorts for everything & the built in liner is one of the best features.

I wear undies with my speed shorts. I find the liners too loose and baggy, and I would hate to have a wardrobe malfunction. I prefer the security of tight elastic panties so everything stays in place! The only time I don't wear underwear is with a bathing suit, so I'm just not a commando kind of girl.

So the upload was just up and then disappeared:/ all I saw was the Deep Baroque wunder under pants in zinfandel

Speed shorts (size 4) sorry gross on commando at any time. I always wear underwear and there are no issues with liner or underwear with chafing etc. for long runs. I wear VS no show hiphugger sport.

5:21 PM here. Thanks for all the opinions on Speed Shorts/panties. I wear panties with them when I wear them casually. Sounds like branching into commando is a trial and error kind of thing. We'll see. ;)

I wear my speeds with liner only, adding a second pair of panties is too much in my opinion. especially if you are getting sweaty. when I run in them I also go sans underwear. I think the liner works great and breathes which is really important for me.

surge CRB is really nice. I am going back and forth in regards to getting the CRB not limits in surge and the aria II as well.

I bought the fluff off pullover in size 4 (I'm usually a 4/6 in tops). I ended getting the fluff off jacket in deep zinfandel in size 6 as the 4 was tight in the chest. The 4 fit, but no room to layer anything. For reference, I'm about 5ft and 115 pounds.
