Upload - Part II

So, once the website finally settled down I ordered the Skinny Groove pant in the solid black. I am really excited to try these.

I also ordered a Push UR Limits in the Deep Zinfandel color. I wasn't sure what size to get since my chest has shrunk a bit but I remember these tanks aren't the most forgiving so I went with a ten and the darker color. I have been thinking how much I have wanted a luxtreme tank with a built in bra and I haven't liked anything very much since the Top Speed tank from last summer. I used to have a few Push UR Limits but I can't remember why I ended up selling them. The Raspberry Push is super pretty, too, and if I rekindle my love for the Push I'll consider getting the Raspberry one.

I also ordered the Black/Soot Gros Gingham Groovy Run shorts. I am a sucker for plaid Groovy Runs.
I also ordered the striped Bangbuster.

Canada got a solid Raspberry No Limit tank (want this!) and a black Baroque Print CRB. I hope we get those, too.

We also got some hints of items to come. The two I am most excited about are the print WUs shown in the Pants banner and the Props banner. The outfit in the props banner is the same from the Instagram video hint we saw last week:

What did you order tonight?

I ordered the yeah yoga tank in raspberry and the reversible wunder unders in raspberry and black. I love the bright colors but was bummed they didn't have the yeah yoga tank in deep zin on the website. I wonder when we will see that floral print from the instagram preview. November is going to be a wallet breaker for sure.

I picked up a power-y in surge. Excited to see more colors in luon versus luon light! Also trying out the skinny grooves and a pair of the new leg warmers. We'll see how those work out. I also looked at the deep zinfendel in the flow crops but I have a good number of crops so I put those back for now. I'll check out my store over the weekend and might pick then up then. Also liked some of the new scubas but want to get a look at that wrap in the namaste tote pic first before I commit. I bought the angel wing stripe one and it's definitely thinner than my old style scuba. I get more wear out of the thinker one in Philadelphia but I'll be moving to SoCal shortly so I may reconsider.

The description of the Sun Chaser Visor "When we're busy chasing the sunshine this summer..." THIS summer lulu? LOL In Australia but not in the US. Put those hats and visors in WMTM!

What is going on what that odd seaming on the lower part of the new Calm & Cozy Pant??? It's like a bow right on the @nu$! I was going to order them until I saw THAT.

LLA - what is the difference in fit/feel between regular luon and full-on luon? Is it more compressive? Thanks!

that print un WU looks totally different from the IG video to the photo for "pants" ... the size of print is much different. Anyone else see this??

maybe you sold your push ur limits because back then it was made from luxtreme (ugh). This one is made from power lux which is why i'm trying it out. I also got the skinny grooves in black/quilt.

I literally got home from a 2 week European trip and my #1 best bottom were my black Energize pants! So I'm thrilled to see skinny grooves! As soon as I can I'm going to compare the cut of both pants, fingers crossed they are the same!

I wore these pants on the plane for 15 hours (home and back), did a couple of workouts in them (I'm a Kettlebell Instructor which is why I was in Europe), went out to dinner, and walked for miles of site seeing in them!! (with short boots) The other pair that was almost equally versatile were my black lined DSP. I was also able to do my teaching wearing both of them.

For two weeks I only brought 4 bottoms total, and the only problem I had was the airplane blanket left horrible lint on my luon! *note to self...pack a travel lint roller

I'm excited to see many new products that will be great for everyday, training AND travel. Just wishing for a sporty sophisticated jacket. North Face and Patagonia thin sleek/shiny down jackets were very popular.

Just the skinny grooves With the Raspberry multicolored waistband. Pumped for these!

So the coat in the Namaste Yoga Tote IV photo is a sneak peek? Love it! Wish it came out this week!

The raspberry stripe and winter orchid stripe are very similar to 2010-11 Smokey rose ombre stripe and black swan ombre stripe Scubas and every yogi shirts were made in that color scheme. I ordered the blue skinny grooves and the plaid shorts.
Does anyone know what saying is stitched oon the Raspberry scuba(ish)? the only thing I can make out is "Chase a ... and the what does the green bean on say? They should indicate it because the picture isn't clear

I got the Skinny Grooves in inkwell/surge, the Astros with the zinfandel/orchid waistband, and the Aria in surge. I'm waiting for the zinfandel/orchid Power Y that was in one of the photos yesterday. I want something in solid zinfandel but I'm going to wait to see what comes next week instead of getting the Aria or Push Ur Limits.

black and soot rulu vinyasa scarf ! finally :)

LLA, when did the Soot Street to Studio Crops get relisted? Have you seen them at your stores yet?

LOVE the raspberry color! Really liking this color story right now: raspberry, surge, deep zinfandel, inkwell, green bean, and the baroque prints. Finally, some awesome jewel tones.
Fingers crossed for the black baroque print CRB (close to camo, but not quite), raspberry CRB, Surge CRB.
I was checking out the site at 2:30 a.m. EST and the website was being crazy. Glad it wasn't just me.

Did I miss the forme jacket herringbone? I knew the pique one was uploaded but was waiting for herringbone. Thanks!

Nothing appealed to me at all which is a good thing as I'll save money this week. I'm thinking about the brushed wunder unders but am hesitant bc of the bad reviews about piling..

Can anyone tell me if this push Ur Limits on ebay is new or old version?

wow! I think that lulu is making a comeback. I like everything I see on this post. the zinfandel color is beautiful and the push your limits tank is one of my favorites. I am also loving the pattern on the tights in the last picture. I should have held out on the paisley wonder under crop.

I ordered the Skinny Grooves and the leg warmers. The Aria in Surge wasn't uploaded in Canada :(

What I really want for Christmas is Surge Wee Stripe to replace the CRB I shrunk out of.

Can anyone comment or LLA in your expertise:
Do dance studio pants get released in the lined and unlined versions? I am loving the deep zinfendal colour but what the unlined version! I want dark purple and those are just the right ones... Spring summer colours are always too light for my taste..
thanks!

Inspire Crop, Aria Tank, Push Ur Limits Tank, Fly Away Tamer Headband, and CaIm & Cozy Pant, all in Deep Zinfandel. Also, the gingham Groovy Run Short and black Skinny Groove Pant. Have you seen this color in person? I wonder how it compares to Black Swan and Dense Purple. From the pictures, it looks a little redder and warmer than both.

Yeah, the website was all kinds of messed up. I also got on the page mid upload when there were only 5-6 items posted.

OT but I just wanted to offer a shout out to my Canadian Angel, DS. So thoughtful and conscientious, it was really nice to have a complete stranger just offer up to help me. LLA, there are genuinely kind folks attracted to your blog. What a feat! Thanks for all you do!

Garry Larry - I noticed the pants looked different too. In the video I thought they looked more like the sea bed print from a couple years ago but now they look more like a laceoflage print with big flowers. Boo

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 6:27 am - no, you didn't miss it, it wasn't uploaded.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 2:30 am - the full on luon is thicker, more compressive, very opaque, and has a nice cottony feel. I really liked it. It more like old luon but I think maybe better because of the compressive feel.

Ashlee said...

Can anyone clarify what is full on luon? Is that code for old lululemon quality? Thanks in advance.

Anonymous said...

If anyone could do a color comparison of deep zin and black swan, specifically in the DSPs, I'd be very grateful! Thank you!

Anonymous said...

@LLA - thanks for the info on full on luon!

wondering if i should order 8 or 6 in the full on luon? i have been taking a 6 in most bottoms and my 8s have been feeling a bit big, but if it's more compressive, maybe an 8 will do? any input, y'all?

also, has anyone tried the new Push UR Limits? that was one of my first Lulu tanks and i still love my old ones. is the sizing the same?

Anonymous said...

Can anyone comment on the fit of the full on luon wunder unders compared to the luxtreme wunder unders? (I know the crops just got released in full-on but the pants have been around for awhile. I tried the luxtreme wunder under crops and found the fit off compared to my old (good) luon ones. The rise seems lower and gave me a bit of muffin top and yet they still seemed to ride down. I'm looking for some new plain crops so I'm hoping the full on is more like the old-school wunder unders!

Anonymous said...

Did anyone notice the surge colored sports bra in the first photo on the new products email this morning? Any idea which bra this is? It looks interesting!

Anonymous said...

I saw the Skinny Grooves in my store today, they are awesome, nice thick luon. No one will be disappointed in the quality of these pants.

I bought the Heart LS in Inkwell, they are selling very fast.

Anonymous said...

LLA: Should we size up for full-on luon items?

Anonymous said...

What about the banner on the 'bags' page? That looks like a new purple colored Happy Hatha Hour bag to me..

Anonymous said...

Ordered In the Flow Crop in heathered deep zinfandel. Excited about that raspberry ls run shirt!

Anonymous said...

Any insight as to what the material is in the Yeah Yoga crop? I'm intrigued. The website says that it is a "twist on our signature Luon fabric" but with a unique fit and feel. I don't have a store nearby to check it out in person.

luluFemom said...

Excited to see so many options in "full-on Luon" even if it is a marketing scheme designed to avoid having to directly say, "We cheapened our pants and are trying to make it right." Tried on the Skinny Grooves in-store today and -- for the first time in a long time -- was happy with both the compression and coverage. I've been desperately seeking a pair of Inkwell Luon bottoms but each pair I've tried on shows every last lump and bump so I could never pull the trigger. Not sure the skinny grooves work on my stocky legs, but the holiday return policy gives me plenty of time to decide! ;)

Anonymous said...

Luluaddict, I bought the skinny grooves today. OBSESSED. So opaque, so soft. The fit is amazing!

Anonymous said...

I can't tell if it is just a color filter added to the banner photos, but it looks like a darker blue-green almost like Alberta Lake! I'd love to see more top options in that and the deep zin. I'm not a big fan of Surge. It feels very 80s teal to me.

AZ Lulu Fan said...

Gingham Groovy Run shorts! Hoping the raspberry stripe matches an ancient Ujjayi II Tank I have. It was my first Lululemon online purchase! The trim has faded a touch over the years, but the luon body is still going strong.
They don't make 'em like they used to. (I'm waving my cane as I say this)

Anonymous said...

Ok I tried on the skinny grove and did not like feel or look of pants. I had such high hopes for the style and fabric. I had camel toe in my TTS 10, so I went up to 12 and then pants got Baggie in front area. I tried on both blue and black and thought I could see tag in blue. It is so hard to see in dressing room dim lighting. I am looking forward to hearing other reviews and hoping I am wrong. I so want to trust in LLL design and fabrics again.

Anonymous said...

The raspberry top in the banner for "tops" looks like a long sleeve star runner judging by the seaming on the sides and the shape of the mesh panel under the arms.

Anonymous said...

LLA -- Saw your tweet that "Skinny Grooves look like crap on me"...what about them don't you like? Are they TTS or size down?

sophia said...

i wonder if that jacket is an updated version of the gratitude wrap that we know is coming? this is PURE speculation, I have no intel on this - it's just what popped into my mind. the sleeves/neck look very GWish, but the lines in the back look different - it looks much shaplier and nicer (rather than the original GW which is very potato sack-like). i hope so, because i would totally get one!

Anonymous said...

I got my surge/inkwell astro shorts that were on WMTM today. They fit TTS and are super comfy, plus surge is so SO pretty (this is the first time I've seen it in person). Total score for $24! I just wish I had purchased the raspberry/black ones too. I would also kill for the astro WUCs to come back since I love this waistband.

Anonymous said...

Any ladies that frequent the Orange County stores (SCP, Spectrum, Fashion Island) do you know if any of those stores carries "full on" luon WU pants in the store?

Anonymous said...

I just got my order from last week's WMTM and thought I'd share my opinion's on what I received.

I got a v-neck swiftly in ras glo light - wow it is bright!! I'm not typically a pink girl but wanted to add some pink to my workout wardrobe. I definitely do not love the color as it is very "barbie" pink but it is also bright and fun so I'll deal with it. But for people considering ordering this beware it is brighter than it appears in the pics!

Also someone asked about sizing in this. I ordered my tts 4 and it is definitely body hugging and I probably could have gone up to a 6. In fact, I was waiting to receive this to see if I might want to order another in zippy green. The shoulders in the 4 are great - not to loose not too tight so I'm not sure if it would be baggy in a 6. I would suggest if you like things looser then size up and if you like them tighter then stick to your tts.

I also got my first pair of astro shorts and they are great! I don't find the luon to be crunchy at all which is what a lot of reviews on the lll website say. I can see where people say it creates CT with the seam down the center of the crotch but I don't think it is that bad. Overall a good deal at $24. I got the angel wing/soot light hyper stripe and see these more as around the house shorts.

What are people's experiences with the recent Swiftly Tech Short Sleeve shirts like? My local store has a large amount on mark down, mostly in the bright colors left over from the summer.

Anonymous said...

I'm with 2:01 AM, WTH is with the half X on the a$$ of the calm & cozy pant?! I was into them until I saw that! Not classy at all. I'll wait until the calm & cozy pant ii, if they make one and fix that issue.

I ordered the beautiful baroque black CRB. Normally I would pick it up in store but I did that with the last couple of CRB's (green bean and paisley) and I'm a little tired of having to keep checking. I don't understand why it takes a mid-country, major city all week to receive the hot stuff, especially when I read that east coast cities already have it (hot items, on the Monday, Tuesday or even before). It just makes no sense to me and I think LLL is annoying in that regard (and I mean no offense to anyone on the east coast, you're lucky).

Anonymous said...

the purple DSP, black boroque CRB and Black vinyasa, will be my first one that's not ivivva.

Anonymous said...

IS there still something wrong with the website?? I wanted to check out the baroque CRB and it's not there on the CAD side but a bunch of other CRBs that I thought were sold out are now showing up in many or all sizes (ex. slalom stripe angel wing CRB, green bean). Also, the raspberry NLT isn't there either and I was thinking of getting that too... did both of these items just sell out already?

Also - regular luon Power Y's are coming back in stores and online. I just saw that via heylululemon!

Anonymous said...

this may be OT (belongs in all of those posts about the Pique Forme) but in case people are wondering, i would recommend NOT sizing up in the Forme Textured - i got my pique today and i did size up (in part because the size i should have gotten was sold out) to my define size (10). it just doesn't fit right, specifically through the chest and arms. the 10 define translated well (i didn't like them super tight because i like to wear long sleeves under them) but the Forme becomes somewhat shapeless. will try to try an 8 in store some time if i come across it.
for reference, i got 8s in nice asana and contempo, but could definitely have taken a 6.
now ready to try the skinny grooves!

Re: 7:31 AM

DS pants come in lined and unlined but not always in both! For the winter, it may be that LL is only making unlined versions in some styles.

Anonymous said...

Completely OT but LLA, do you watch The Biggest Loser? Jillian Michaels has been wearing an awesome looking black jacket while training people that looks like it has wind resistant or leather like panels on it. Do you or anyone happen to know what jacket it is?

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 2:47 pm - It's not the pants or the fabric, it's me. I don't have the right legs for them. They are way too thick. Just like Tadasanas look like crap on me, these do, too. Most people are really liking them.

Anonymous said...

The skinny grooves looked terrible on me as well- camel toe, weird bagginess and...sheer- yup. So bummed bc I love that new waistband and wanted to love.

Anonymous said...

@ anon 6:27- There have been problems with the website since upload.

Anonymous said...

LLA, how was the sizing on the Open Your Heart LS? i am seriously tempted...

Anonymous said...

@ 6:27 PM, it's 11:41 ET and I'm in Canada. I'm looking at the Beautiful Baroque Black CRB and it is currently showing as available in sizes 2, 4, 6 (8, 10, 12 have the slash through them/sold out). I ordered it this a.m. in size 4 with no problems. Early this afternoon I received the shipment notification.

I don't see the green bean or angel wing stripe CRB's as options to order. As per earlier on the blog, there have been problems with the website. Also, I don't know if you clear cookies and history, but you might want to try that as well, or a different browser (I generally have no problems with Firefox.)

@10:10 am - I have the new luxtreme WUC and also an old luon pair. The luxtremes are great because you do not have to worry about sheerness - but they always feel like they are sliding down my butt and I have to readjust them. I bought them mostly to wear to crossfit type classes and they work but for the readjustments. The rise also gives me some muffin top. I bought the same size as my old luon WUC. Hope that helps.

Also @4:26 pm - I bought a pizazz swiftly short sleeve from WMTM a few weeks back and although I've only worn it once I don't have any snags! This is my first swiftly and it seems thing although I have nothing to compare it to. I also just got the ras glo v neck (see my post above about that) and they are the same thickness. The one time I wore pizazz to run, it rode up the entire time which is a bummer.

Anonymous said...

So I just received some items that I had ordered last week. Unfortunately I ordered what I thought was my size in the Race Me SS and turns out its huge. I wear a 6 in the swiftly but I should have sized down for this one. Too bad it was WMTM and I can't return it! If anyone would like my size 6, black Race Me SS, let me know! I'd let it go for 1/2 of what I paid. I don't want to keep something I'll never wear! Hit me up at psychocupcake22@gmail.com

@ 7:31PM I went to my store yesterday and purchased the LS Open your heart in Zinfandel and it fits TTS took the same size as CRB and any other tees. It's very soft and the color is beautiful. The one concern I have is the reverse side seems like the seams are not finished as nicely as they could be for $78. Has anyone tried on the new crop YEAH YOGA?

Anonymous said...

Has anyone seen the CALM & Cozy sweatpants in person? How bad is that stitching on the bum area? What were they thinking?? Must have been a Man designing that piece.

Anonymous said...

@5:31AM the coat/ wrap in the tote ad is the new Virasana Wrap. It will be in stores this week made of cotton fleece.

@ anon 7:18PM and anon 8:45 thanks for the heads up that the Canadian site is now working again (this is the anon who couldn't find the baroque CRB or the raspberry NLT). I don't know what was wrong with the site when I checked but i'm glad it's back in order. I was able to snag that baroque CRB in my size 4 now that I can find it to add it to my cart :)
