The Latest and Some Try On Reviews

Size dots are back - yay!!

Lots of photos of the new Aria II tank and Skinny Groove Pants. I tried on both these items today. I really liked like the Aria II. The luxtreme was super thick with good coverage. I thought the support was pretty decent, too. I thought very seriously about getting this but I ordered the Push UR Limits and I want to get the Raspberry No Limit Tank when it shows up in the US so will leave this at the store for now. However, if it shows up in a the baroque print I might change my mind. I thought the Aria fit TTS and it's a decent tank for bustier women for low impact activities.

I also tried on the Skinny Groove pants. I really disliked them on me. I just don't have the right legs for them. The Full On Luon fabric didn't feel much different that what I remember from when I tried the Wunder Under Pant on over the summer. The material is thick and was opaque in my TTS. It has a bit more of a sheen to it than regular luon. I tried the size down but it looked worse and I could see a faint shadow of my underwear in a deep bend. I probably could have used a size up in these but I map into the twelve on the size chart so I am out of luck there.

The striped fabric shows through on the side and sleeve seams.
I also tried on the Open Your Heart LS and really liked it. It's thicker and reversible, like the older Cabin LS, but it's a single layer, not two layers stitched together. I've been wanting a heavier weight long sleeve tee for the fall/winter and lululemon finally made one.  I really like the shape, too, and for once, the sleeves are not insanely tight. I ended up sizing down to the six (bottom photo) since I thought the eight (top photo) was a bit long. This top is definitely a one, if not two, size-down unless you prefer like the oversize look that is in style now. I ended up getting the Inkwell/Surge one.

Photos of the new Yeah Yoga tank. I didn't try this on but I felt it. The luxtreme was not nearly as thick as that used in the Aria II tank. My store also had this tank in the Deep Zinfandel Beautiful Baroque Print, like in the bottom headband:

New Fly Away Tamers in Beautiful Baroque Black and Deep Zinfandel and solid Deep Zinfandel.

The new Scubas in Raspberry and Deep Zinfandel Rose Herringbone Print.

I also felt up the Knit Happens scarf and other things at the counter when I was paying today. I really liked the scarf a lot - it was super soft, not at all scratchy, and felt high quality but I don't live in a climate that requires me to have an $88 super-nice wool scarf.

Quick note on the full-on luon bottoms. I ordered the full-on luon WUPs a couple of months ago, and they came with an addtional tag stating they were made of the full-on luon. However I noticed my invoice simply reflected "Wunder Under Pants". Anyway, I had to return these because the seams unraveled before I even wore them. And they sent me a new pair - but without the full-on luon tag. A couple of weeks later, I ordered another pair of full-on luon WUPs online, and they arrived without the tag again. I spoke to a store educator, and she said she's pretty sure the ones without the tag are made of regular luon and not full-on luon. Which means lululemon sent me the wrong item twice!! I'm pretty happy with the pants in any case since they aren't in the least bit sheer, but it sucks that there should be any ambiguity at all whether I received what I ordered. Even when I was communicating with customer service over the pair with the broken seams, they kept referring to my order as WUPs, without making the distinction that these were made of full-on luon. Invoices are the same as well. Just sharing my experience, as it seems to me lululemon is being all inconsistent again and passing one thing off for another, at the expense of their customers.

Thanks for the awesome reviews! I'm excited to check out the new product in my store this week - if I ever get there!

Definitely interested in the open your heart and glad to hear it is a heavier top even though it is not rulu.

I could also tell from the photos that the knit happens scarf looks to be really nice so I'm excited to see it in person but would never pay $88 for a scarf - ouch! Things like this probably never make it to WMTM either but oh well.

Also - I like the skinny grooves in the photos with people without shoes on but for me once you add workout sneaks they look silly - like you have these big clunky feet at the bottom of these nice sleek pants. Dunno about that...

Hey LLA and other ladies! Anyone have any intel on whether the studio pants will be released in deep zin in longs? I would love to add them to my studio collection but can't do regular length -- thank you!

Just FYI - i was clicking through and found that the Fluffin Awesome vest was restocked in plum size 8. I just ordered one, I'm so excited because I missed it the first time around.

that's too bad that the skinny grooves don't work for you LLA. I can't wait to get mine to try!

Also, I am LOVING raspberry. There had better be a solid raspberry CRB and a solid raspberry energy bra, even a solid raspberry 105 singlet!! I just never wear NLTs and don't like any tanks with built in bras (I like to mix and match my bras with tanks anyway)! I would like a CRB in deep zinfadel too.

On another note, I really dislike the deep zinfadel baroque print. The black version seems nice from photos, but the purple version looks like a very childish print.

Has anyone tried the enfold wrap? Or even viewed a picture of someone other than the website model wearing it? Thanks!

Does anyone have input as to how stretchy the "in the flow" crops are? I am pregnant and looking for crops that won't be uncomfortable like the more compressive fabrics. I would size up -- for reference the skinny wills in a size up are fitting my pregnant self but my TTS running capris and even WUs are rolling down below my belly and feeling not so good.

Any opinions on the Uba Hoodie? I think it looks really nice and they changed the inside liner from last year. I live so far from a store (6 hours) that I cant try it on. Would love some feedback as there are no reviews online yet. I am between a 4 and a 6 in tops, would this be a up or down item? Thank you so much!!!!!

Love all the photos. I would like to know how similar the Aria tank is from the Free Ya Tank from a few years ago. It is looking almost identical to me. I loved that tank and have two, but my only negative about it was the straps at the back sometime came undone and it was a little long.

Thanks so much for the helpful review of the heart opener LS. I sized down from a 6 to a 4 and it fit perfectly. The shirt is perfect for casual days and is very comfy!

NEW WRAP UPDATE!! I just got a PN email from the Marlton NJ store and it has the jacket (which is actually a wrap) that is in the yoga tote picture! It is called the Virsana Blanket Wrap and it comes in Heathered Medium Gray/Silver spoon (which is the color in the tote pic) and Raspberry glo (yuck!). No price listed but this should be hitting stores in the US this week!

This same PN has reversible WUC in Raspberry Guava Lava /Raspberry, Green Bean Slalom stripe/inkwell and Midnight Iris/black.

I tried on the Open Your Heart today with no intention of actually buying it because I didn't want to spend almost $80 on a simple tee. I am a 6-8 in all things lulu (8 in shelf bras and tight-fitting pants, and 6 in non-support tops and looser bottoms). I tried on the 6, and it was just too slouchy and unflattering. I tried on the 4 and fell in love. It really is warm and cozy but not stifling. The size-down was form-fitting without hugging my imperfections.

The fabric feels sturdy. I feel like as long as I have been a fan, lulu comfy wear has been ultra thin and flimsy, but this turned out to be the LS top I have been hoping for. It ended up coming home with me.

I tried on the skiiny grooves and found I needed to size down on the inkwell but took my regular size in the rasberry. I decided to forgo the pants altogether because when I moved around, the back seam looked funky. The hearts LS was too long in the body in a size 8, and I typically take a 10 at 5'8" and 160.

I went out to my store today (Mass). I did try on the Uba and really liked it. Sheen but not shiny. Nice size hood. Fleece was nice. Wish there was more. My store had black, angel wing, inkwell and guava (orange). Loved the guava color. Very different but just wouldn't wear it as much as the other colors. I am also in between a 4 and 6 for tops but solid 6 for bottoms. 6 in forme and define, 4 in nice asana. I didnt even try on the 4. Went right for the 6 and it fit great. Would be able have long sleeve full tilt underneath. Tried the 8 and way too big. Wish it was a smidge longer but still ok on my 5 ft 6" frame 128 lbs. I am totally considering it.

@ anon 3:36 pm - I saw the Ubas in the store today but thought the reddish color was Love Red because that is what I had seen it labeled as in the product notice emails so I thought it was old stock. I did think it looked a bit orangeish in real life, though. Good to know it's new product and glad to learn the name of the orangish color that is in the striped/quilted waistbands.

I should have looked at the color code on the Uba. It was soooo orange that I didn't even consider old stock Love Red. Could have been.

I saw the orangish-red Uba in store yesterday. It is Love Red. I was surprised how orange it looked.

The waistband of these is very flat and has a ton a stretch. I think they would be prefect for pregnancy! I also loved studio pants and Astros while pregnant. Congrats!
