Tech Fleece Arriving in Stores
Tech fleece is starting to arrive in the stores but only on the men's side. This is the men's Chillstop pant, shown with a Metal Tech Vent LS. I know some of you have been wondering when the tech fleece is coming for the ladies so hopefully this is a sign it's coming soon.

I really hope a women's pair of tech fleece is in the works - something similar to the Outward Bound Pants would be amazing!!
Seems Lulu is getting a late start in rolling out the winter running apparel. Nike, UA and Athleta have had their's out for a bit. Is Lulu usually late with seasonal items?
The tech fleece does seem a bit late. They could have had production issues that delayed it but it'll be winter for months yet. ;-)
they've added some previously sold out stuff back to the website and i believe updated WMTM further since yesterday...
OT--I tried on the push your Limits top yesterday and although I loved the fit and look of it, the area where the straps meet the bra stick up and form lumpy ridges that are visible thru any top you layer over it! I went thru the entire collection and they ALL did that. Has anyone else noticed this?
I wish they made womens stuff tha looked like those pants the hot guy is wearing. I went a little nuts yesterday. I think that I am truly losing my mind. Did a huge purchase yesterday both on line and at my local shop, the educators know my name and always take me to where the new stuff is. Yikes!

I feel like lulu was late on this last year, too -- I definitely bought my Ice Queen and Toasty Techs after the holiday return period started because I waited to see if my size/color made it to the Boxing Day sale (Ice Queen, yes; Toasty Tech, no). Kind of hoping it takes them a couple of weeks to unveil the women's stuff...give my wallet (and my husband's heart) time to recover from this week's down- and fleece-fueled insanity. ;)
Last year the winter rollout was too early and customers were complaining, I agree this year is a little late. I have been asking for the tech fleece on the womens side and the educators tell me they do not know when things are coming, which I think it bogus.
10:38 - I have noticed that, and have had Push Ur Limits tanks in the past, but I suppose it never bothered me. What DID bother me was that the shelf bra has darts that are visible through the tank, making me look perpetually chilly. There is no way I can wear it without feeling self-conscious. SO disappointed in this because I want so badly to love this top.
M @ 11:03 - why don't you give those pants a try? I know they're men's pants, but they're pretty skinny. It's possible you'd put them on and never know the difference.
I agree, the Outward Bound Pant is definitely one of my favorite items; wish they'd bring that back.
OT, does anyone know if lulu is going to bring back the Every Yogi LS????? Or, does anyone have an EUC one in size 8 they'd like to get rid of......I would buy it :)
Does anybody have a pair of DZ inspires size 4 that they do not want? I was too late and my stores are sold out:( I can pay you via PayPal obviously plus shipping:) thanks!
Heather
OT what pants/tights are the best for cold weather running? I live in Wisconsin so it gets pretty cold here.
@ LuluF 11:49 AM, agree they were late on those items last year. Took them forever to come out with a "winter" tight (I did not buy TT tight as it was not sufficient, imo.) Also agree that it'll be winter for months. I'm sure a lot of us have gear to "hold" us ;)
As long as they get it in stores by December, when Christmas shopping and gift giving is happening. Although, some people are xmas shopping now.
That hot guy works at one of my stores - he helped me yesterday. :) He's very nice.
@Heather - I'm a 4 and the deep zin inspires I tried on are sheer so be careful. I'm curious to hear other's opinions on these because I have not seen any comments yet.
Anon@11:03--you mean the hot dude was wearing pants? I didn't notice them...
Has anyone tried the Calm and Cozy pant? I know it has the 'x-marks-the-anus' thing, but it looks fairly hidden on the gray ones. I'm looking for pants to throw over my inspries on the way to/from the gym on cold days. Can anyone comment on fit? I don't want them to look too sloppy so I was going to get the same size I get in studio pants. But some reviews say they run small?
@anon 5:53- I bought (and then returned) the deep zin inspires; I found them sheer as well. I'm a 6. They were fine standing up, but couldn't deep squat in them (I crossfit)
I think LL does a better job than most on winter running bottoms, but I'm not so loyal that I'll wait around to see what they come up with. I'm running more often this year, and I need to buy something now.
@Anon 5:28, I like Sugoi Sub-Zero tights the best for warmth. They're thick, compressive, water- and wind-resistant without being stiff and cost a little (but not much) less than LL's pants. LL's Alpine tight from 3yrs ago has far better seam lines, but isn't as warm. I haven't seen anything else from LL come close since then.
I have the deep zin inspires in a 4 and don't have any sheerness issues with them at all. I've done the deep squat test in the mirror :)
Hi all! Slightly OT but I know a lot of people were disappointed by the hot cheeks shorts instead of the skirt, and I recently saw a skirt that's really similar from Zella:

I noticed it too! Disappointing. I'm still not sure whether to keep mine or not.
I got those for the same reason. The fit is amazing and I don't think the x is as bad as the dz pair.... LOVE these and haven't taken them off.
I got them in a 6 and I wear my inspires and studios in a. 6. I don't size down in my studios bc I want them a little baggy. I wouldn't size down in these.
Hi and thanks to those who responded to my post regarding the DZ inspires. I was able to track these down in a 4 and find them to give me enough coverage:) I do think coverage varies depending on which pair that your try on. I love the color, such a nice neutral.
@8:17 AM I also thought the X thing was weird on the calm n cozy pant but love the Zinfandel color so I tried them on in my usual size 6 and bought. They run slim but not too tight although if you want to wear over something you may want to size up.
Vey helpful thank you! I am between a 4 and 6 and will go with the 6 then, as I want to wear them over crops.
12:59 I should try them on. I am pretty petite so might be swimming in those puppies, but I think they are pretty nice looking. It could also just be the model.
