More Base Runner Pant photos. I couldn't resist and took the tags off mine yesterday. Of course, the weather popped up into the 90s (!) today. A nice surprise was how little pet hair the rulu fabric picks up.

OT - Yogasmoga is having a sale on Gilt right now.
I really want a pair of the base runner pants, but can't get on board with that price! If only they were about $20 cheaper... sigh.
Can you give a review on the Base runner pants?
I hope the pique neckwarmer hits the stores soon, it's getting cold in Toronto. I also loved the base runner pants, which seem to be a TTS or size down item. I tried on the grey in a 4. My usual size is 6, and I would probably stick with that for the extra slouch. I didn't get it in black for fear of cat hair, and the charcoal and inkwell are too sporty for my purposes. LLA, I'm happy to hear the black doesn't attract pet hair.

Deep Zin BB WUCs!!!! Dreams do come true :D I held off on the Yeah Yoga Crops and WUPs in hopes that these would pop up. Now they just need to release them in the US. I think I may go try on those raspberry speeds this weekend...
@luluaddict pretty sure that's a herringbone nice asana! the pique doesn't have black arms, just the black bottom hem.
On East Coast and bought swiftly in surge tonight! Long sleeve! They also had them in Rasberry LS and tank. The lighter purple in short sleeve. Also they have picque tweed Rulu head warmer! Yay!
Is the Fluff Off Jacket reasonable for Southern California weather? I live on the coast... Or is it too warm? Any advice is appreciated!!!
@ anon 7:18pm - thanks for the heads up about the Yogasmoga gilt sale. I wanted to get the tickled pink run jump play crop but it's already sold out in my size. Jumped on the blue crops and some more basic black bottom and tank! love their stuff.

LS surge swiftlys are in a few ontario stores (promenade, briar hill and scarborough), but i haven't seen any short sleeves other than the one i bought in winnipeg last week. i thought it was an online return, but the tag had the price on it, so not sure.
the raspberry swiftlys are not nearly as vibrant as paris pink. it looks much more intense than in the picture of the speed short - closer to the photo below of the push UR limits tank in raspberry.
I purchased the base runner pants today and they are super soft. I am on the shorter side and they are not too long for me. I think they look super cute pushed up like a Capri as well. There is not too much fabric and they look cute up or down. They are generous in size, if you want a little give get your normal size....if you want them to be more fitted, you def can go down a size. The Rulu is awesome cozy goodness! Love these.....
It's funny, Ivivva had the pique tweed fabric before Lulu did! (I bought a cute Rulu pique tweed Village scarf--the equivalent of a Vinyasa but shorter and less wide over a month ago). They also have 2 down jackets in the same color as Lulu--surge and deep zinfandel (I ordered the zinfandel). The store clerk told me that it's the first time that they have had a down jacket and that it's very rare they have the same colors out at the same time as Lulu. They also had a new top in Peacock (which is a little lighter but in the same color family as surge).
Wow how many more times does Yogasmoga need to announce its Gilt sale? On each one of the lastest posts the same comment. Anyone who ordered from you surely got quite a few emails announcing the sale already. I ordered two leggings and can honestly say the feel of the fabric is like sand paper compared to Luon and Luxtreme. Not impressed at all.
Anon 7:23 I also like the Base Layer pant but I would only wear them as sweetpants inside my home, and since I already have three pairs of the Make a Move and four of the Runder Under, both of which are made of Rulu, I can wait to see if they get markdown. But if not, I can live without them. They are more expensive than a pair of the Brushed Interlocked Speed tights which I will use way more.
LLA the new Rapsberry is not so similar to Paris or Pow pink, but almost identical to an older, darker/deeper pink from 2011 I think, which name escapes me right now. I got it in a Swiftly SS with gray collar and pipping on the sleeves.
YS is nowhere better than lll, IMO. Bought and returned it.
Can someone comment on the fit of the Hot Cheeks shorts? Do they fit like last year's down skirt?

If you ordered anything from yogasmoga this year, I'm sure we all got the e-mail about the sale on gilt. Sorry but 24 hr sales don't interest me (that sort of marketing ploy is so NOT effective on me). I didn't even look. I can't buy the stuff as gifts for anyone. And I have enough clothes. Plus LLL's latest stuff isn't helping as there are a number of items I desire.

Can anyone tell me what size yogasmoga run jump n play crops to order if I'm a lulu size 4? Thanks! I'd love to try a pair at these sale prices. I'm thinking a 2 based on my measurements but would appreciate someone's feedback that already has a pair! Thanks!

Push your limits tank - definitely not for me, don' wear built-in anything. Imo it's too long. It is guaranteed to ride up. Fleecy Keen jacket is a disaster the more I see of it. I'm into those base runner pants and can justify them for fall, winter, but not when I have too many pants!!!
I saw the Deep Zin BB WUC in our showroom today and it was pretty. Silky and maybe thinner but still good coverage. I didn't buy it though, will get it online. Showroom prices here in Asia are too high, and LLL is expensive enough as it is.
ot - for the yogasmoga sale if I wear a four in lulu should I be ordering a 4 in yogasmoga or do they fit differently? thanks!
@ anon 1:25 am - Oooh! Thanks but my bank account does not thank you, lol. I supposed I should haul my rear to the store again this week. Freak! Last week I went to the store three times and now I will make another trip this week. This time of year is brutal.
@ anon 3:00 am - I agree. The Gilt stuff was all the original designs and colors. They are coming out with new colors and designs soon anyway.

@ anon 1.09 am - I have quite a few yogasmoga pants and I like them a lot more than lulu. They don't show off mu but cheeks like luon does and there is absolutely no pilling - even though my thighs rub all the time + they are really amazing in helping me with sizing.
@anon 3.37 - the yogasmoga fits are same as lulu - maybe even better. If you are a 2 or a 4 in lulu you want the same size in yogasmoga. I am a 4 in both lulu and yogasmoga.
Just picked up the pique neck warmer at the Square One store yesterday, along with a beautiful purple vinyasa scarf (no stripes - yay!)

@ anon 8:19 pm - I think it's too hot unless you are going to be sitting around still outside watching your kids play sports in the fall, winter, spring. That is when I pull out my heaviest stuff.
Any notes on the pants of the blonde wearing the Herringbone Nice Asana jacket? They look pique...I need some more textured basics!
@ anon 8:05 am - yes, TTS roomy fit - clings to rear and loose in the leg so you have room to fit shorts or tights under them.
I was wondering if you or anyone else has done a comparison of yoga crops/pants across a few different brands, such as Athleta, Lucy, Zella, etc? Are their pants more/less sheer than Lulu's? Do they offer better/worse compression? As to cost, I'm a little confused: Athleta and Zella each offer a cheaper option to the $72 WU crop, but most of their crops as well as those at Lucy are actually more expensive. I had been thinking of returning my new WU crops (the peer pressure of all the negative feedback was getting to me) and getting the Lucy Hatha or Perfect Core crops until I realized they're actually more expensive ($79 and $89, respectively). Is it worth switching to another brand or are people just waiting for Lulu to improve?
Yogasmoga has been saying new colors will be out soon for months. By the time they get around to it, all of their would-be customers will have already filled their closet with the competition's color palettes. I do like the sturdiness of the fabric, but it could do with a softer feel.
YogaSmoga's fit is looser than Lululemon.
@Run Like the Wind - good point!! They were supposed to put out new stuff this summer, which irks me. They should under predict, not over predict otherwise people get really annoyed. However, they sent me photos of the new stuff taken on their models so it's a lot more imminent than it was this summer. They are also clearing out the old stock on Gilt so that's a good sign the new stuff is coming. You are right, their material does feel harsher than luon. I definitely don't like to lounge in it like I do my lulu stuff. It's performance wear for me. I think they tweaked the fit to be tighter but I haven't tried any of their stuff since the first batch.
Person who asked about yogasmoga sizing. Have Run Jump Olay crop, am a 4 in LLL bottom and YS. Didn't iz own based on measurements. YS fit well not too tight or loose. Have run in them, they are comfortable. Agree with others that the fabric has a way to go to feel as comfortable as Luon. My pair were rec'd in July or something. My pair were part of adjustments they made to sizing. Earlier production items too tight, from what I call reading here in the ongoing YS convo.
@runlikewind @luluaddict - I did production for athleta. I have been following yogasmoga like a lot of you guys and I am very impressed with their product quality and turnaround as a smaller company. Usually companies take 12-15 months to get product out (lulu takes 13 months) so I think yogasmoga is doing a great job with turning product out so quickly. Technical gear is quite hard to product especially at a high quality - once you start speeding up things you start having problems like lulu has had. I can tell you of some production horror stories at athleta/gap.
I have yogasmoga leggings and crops in the black, blue and pink. I noticed that the blue and pink were much softer than the black - I think their black is very dark and beautiful when compared to athleta and lulu so the extra color saturation might be causing a bit of roughness - but I really love all the colors - they are so rich and well saturated. I think their dyeing technique is different as well and my stuff from 3-4 months ago has still not faded at all which I cannot say about some of the other stuff I have.
I just checked out yogasmoga fb page. Def looks like new product is coming soon - there is a post from Rishi (I think the CEO?? inviting people to come to the photo shoot in manhattan) - too bad I am out of the country next week - and "product to come for the holidays".
@LLA how is the new stuff looking? I am really keen to see what they are going to introduce - please give us some clues if you find out - I am keen to shop with them for christmas gifts.
yogasmoga sizing - its the same as lululemon - but a bit better. I think they improved their fits after feedback. At least there is one company that listens to its costumers (take a hint lulu-melon).
I am a 6 in lulu-melon and a 6 in YS but I like YS better as the gusset is a diamond and not a stupid CT enhancing triangle. I don't get any extra fabric in the crotch with YS.
@ Athletica - YS just sent me a new bra and tank style in a pretty purple and a very nice teal blue. The material feels softer than my first batch of YS, more like the pink items. I am wearing the bra right now.
Anon 3:37 am here - thanks for the comments on the YS sizing. I just ordered a pair of the run jump n play crops from YS in black. I'm excited to try them out based on the comments above at the sale prices. I prefer to try things on but am going with all the great reviews from you ladies. Was not happy to have to pay shipping fees however. LLL has spoiled me in that regard!
