the run day crops are totally see through. I tried them on last night and was super bummed!

Hi there, any news about a second upload this week?

Holy Pink Hair Batman!

Getting super excited to get my order from this week's upload! Of course I have to wait until tuesday since I'm on the east coast. I ordered the practice daily crop in Deep Zin and the Runday crops in BB. Seeing these pics makes me hopeful that these crops have promise and are not sheer!!!

Someone compared the Practice crops to the old Venus crops and I agree that they are very similar. I actually wore my Venus crops to crossfit tonight. Mine are a light grey similar to soot light but I'm not sure if that is the actual color name. They are luon crops with a luxtreme detail at the calf.

Just when we thought LLL had corrected the Sheerness....I tried the Practice Daily Crop on today & sheer in rear! Also tried the new Runday Crop this was even worse! I've had better coverage with pantyhose! Why can they get their act together??

Venus crops were awesome I have 2 pair that I wear all the time and not see thru. Runday crop is super sheer and I'll be returning :(

Why does lululemon call everything "pants" when these items clearly are tights? Just wondering.

Why is the crotch area of the Practice Daily Pants and Crops so baggy? I noticed this on the website and in these photos. Not cute:/.

Thanks for all the fit reviews for the Runday Crop. I was tempted to pull the trigger and order a pair because they remind me of my favorite winter crops from a couple years ago, the Run Stay on Course crop with the higher rise and bottom zipper detail. I refuse to drop $100 on anything sheer though so these will be a pass for me.

I did receive my DZ BB WUCs today and didn't find them sheer in a deep squat. The material is a little slick and slippery feeling so I'm unsure whether I'll keep them. The print is quite beautiful though and the fit on this pair is really great, not too small and TTS.

Anon @ 7:06-- Which color did you try on in the Practice Daily? Some people are saying they are sheer and others are saying they are opaque. Perhaps there is some variation in the fabric by color? Anyway, thanks in advance-- super helpful for those of us who are not around stores!

I tried the yeah yoga crops in the full on luon (black with raspberry waistband) and found them incredibly see through. It was my first try of the full on luon and I was shocked how see through they were, could clearly see the hang tag!

I tried on the Black Wee Stripe skinny wills today. I'm a huge fan of Skinny Wills and love the wee stripe. But I have to say I didn't love these pants. There's a slight sheen and the fabric is nothing special. I was surprised that it was a pass for me. Curious to hear what others think...

It is strange as I was hearing on one of the FB LLL Chat groups that the Runday Crops were opaque. I went and tried them on at my local store today and I think the tag shows a little which to means they are a bit sheer but I brought them home and will do a bend test for my hubby and see what he says. Is there maybe a situation where there are different batches and some are sheer and some are not? They are such a cute design so I really want them not to be sheer!

So strange that there is such differences in experiences with crops and pants. I bought the Runday Crops today at and love them. Better than Inspires for me with the higher waist. No sheerness here.

@8:14 I tried both inkwell and Zinfandel and both were equally sheer the ED even said she heard the same comments. Plus I agree with the other comment about the crotch area very FUNKY fit and MAJOR CT.

Went to store to check out run day crops - completely see through --- I could literally see right through the pants - what a disaster.

OT - If you guys follow yoga smoga looks like they have a new collection coming - some good video's from a recent video shoot - I love my run, jump crops and going to get some more stuff in the new colors. I am liking the crimson color they are showing in the video. LLA have you heard any news on their new product?

This is all I ever read these days about the new stuff: see through and sheer. Whether here or the on-line reviews. I'm glad I made a decision to not buy any more bottoms (I have enough from prior years), not matter how cute they look.

I found the Runday Crops with pink detail not sheer at all. In fact that style fit me so much better and looked better on me than my Inspires at the same size. Mid rise and just ever so slightly longer than the Inspires. So weird that people have such differing experiences with the same tight. I am 5'6" 128 lbs, 33 x 26 x 36 and bought size 6.

Tried on the Practice Daily yesterday, totally sheer when bending over. Such a shame because they feel great and the purple is beautiful.

@LLA
DO you think denim WUP and WUC will return???? I regret giving mine away now

@ anon 6:36 am - you would think they would, at some time. I'm not sure about now but lululemon seems to be putting out a lot of favorite fabrics and styles lately.

@ anon 10:27 pm - I just got a box of new Yogasmoga stuff yesterday and am wearing a new pant style right now. The fabrics seem a bit softer than the first release stuff I got - it's nicely opaque and there are some pretty new colors. The fit has been tweaked compared to my first run stuff so I am finding it looser, particularly in the crotch, so I am not sure what to do about that - whether to get a new size or not. I need to make some comparison photos and measurements but the legs/calves are bigger in a couple of styles. The tops fit has been adjusted so it's more TTS. My new size 10 U and Me bra is the same size the first run 12 I got. I will be a little while before I can make a post since they sent me a bunch of stuff to try. I have to say I love their fabric, though, especially since it's softer - like the pink crops, if you guys ordered that one. They sent me items in a heathered gray, lilac purple, a very rich purple, a color similar to Limitless Blue, a navy-ish purple, and a red.

It always looks weird to me to see the details of someone's hand so clearly when the hand is in a pocket. Like in the top photo, I can see the girl's ring. That tells me my cellulite will not be well hidden in those pants!

I would love, love, love to see a post about the new yogasmoga stuff they sent you! I got the black tippy toe leggings after your last reviews and really like them, even though the fabric isn't is soft they are totally opaque and flattering. I need a new pair of crops but have held off ordering cause I want to see their new releases / colors.

@ anon 10:27 pm - Just made some quick measurements on the Yogasmoga pants. No wonder I have excess material in my crotch - they added an inch to the front rise of my size 12 pants, measuring from waist to where the top of the gusset starts. They also added 2" to the back rise on a couple of the styles. Now that I don't have such a problem with since quite a few people said they dipped in the back, so I do like the higher back rise (maybe not 2" though) but I am not a fan of such a high rise in the front. I would like them to lower the front rise again and just leave the back alone or take a 1/2" off it. I'll have more detailed measurements and photos but it will take me awhile to put it all together.

@ anon 7:43 am - I have black wee stripe WUCs that reverse to solid black and they are one of my thickest luon pants and super soft so I am not going to write this fabric off until I feel it first.

@ anon 6:13 am - that is weird because I have read reviews that the new Practice Daily crops are nicely opaque. I am hoping to try them later today.

I really liked the rise on the YogaSmoga stuff as it was. I also need another pair of pants and am waiting for their release before I by any more though.

My Run Day Crops are actually opaque - it's odd - the knee seems sheer, but the butt is not (definitely - I have returned numerous LLL crops for the sheer thing). I got the black - I really like them. Very very strange about the different experiences, especially since I do have a notable behind ;)

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:46 am - Yeah, the front rise was fine with me but the back did need to be adjusted for sure.

I notice the regular luon and luxtreme are see through in most of the lulu crops and tights.

I have only been getting the Iplux and also the thicker material that is used in the speed tights.
I am wearing a pair of crops that I bought like 3 years ago wish I remembered the name, and they are soft thick Luxtreme and look like new.
LLA I have been meaning to go to the Yogasmoga show room downtown Manhattan will definitely take some photos and e-mail them to you.

Hi - now that I've seen a couple of comments regarding the crotch area of the Practice Daily Pants I'm wondering if anyone has found similiar issues with the Yeah Yoga Crops? I ordered both the Baroque and the Inkwell and they both fit very oddly in the crotch area. Nice pants but I had to return them because it just looked so strange. Anyone else notice this?

LuluAddict said...

@ M - brushed luon is nicely opaque but I think hot to work out in indoors. I find the lux and luon vary on a batch by batch basis so you really need to try it on. I try to point out those I feel are ok. If anyone is searching for older styles on ebay the Coast to Class pants had nicely opaque luon.

@LLA - you have the new yogasmoga stuff? wow I CANNOT wait to see your review on them!!! please hurry and tell us about it.

I got a tippy toe legging in black a couple of weeks ago - they told me it was their new fit - I was a 12 but now I am a 10. Fit is very similar to my Lulu but these just feel much nicer.

Did you loose weight? - if you lost weight in your hips then the crotch can bag -- maybe you went down a size!!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 12:32 pm - I found pretty much everything baggy in the crotch in the newest YS stuff, particular the Slimmie Pan, Run Jump and Play crop, and Tippy Toe leggings. I was just wondering what I'd advise people to do about fit so it's good to know you went down a size. I measured the front and back rise against the older version and it's changed (higher) and the legs have been made wider. My older size 12 YS bottoms fit me fine but the new stuff is large so I think I would advise a size down in the three styles listed above. I really like what they have done with their fabric, it's much softer and I could totally see using it for lounging in now, whereas before I thought it was too technical feeling and only for a workout. Do you think the fabric feels stretchier now (maybe even thinner), too? It seems less compressive to me but that could be because the fit is looser.

Anonymous said...

@luluaddict - Hi I am the 12.32 - I am a 10 in lulu and 10 in yogasmoga as well in the new stuff (I ordered the 12 which was loose so I swapped it for 10--- love the free return shipping -- hells ya!

I am really liking the fit. It holds me really well and feels so soft and smooth. They told me that I should be ordering the same size as I wore in other brands such as lulu and they were right --- the leggings look painted on + thusssy looks amazing! I love the fabric. I have the tippy toe leggings in the deep blue color and its so gorgeous and soft - they are my go to leggings and I wear them all the time. I cant wait to get their new stuff. I saw a model pic with grey color -- have you seen that color -- i want that for christmas!!!!!!!!

are they going to do a special offer with you??? (please say yes) the $50 last time was sweet!!-- can you pull that off again for us pleasssseee?. Would be so awesome because all their new stuff that they are sneak-peeking on their FB looks awesome (coral color is soooo beautiful). I am so jealous that you already have the new stuff.... please share pics and reviews with us!

I look forward to your YogaSmoga reviews of the new gear you have received. It's good to hear the fabric is softer. I do like my Run Jump Play crops, but agreed, the fabric is not luon. The quality is otherwise great though. Of course it would be nice if there was another promo code for LLA readers :) It would also be nice if they explain what they did to sizing. I still buy LLL but I haven't been buying bottoms. Simply don't trust them and all I ever read is so many are still see through. To that end, YS can win over LLL because their bottoms are not see through (yes, I know last go round some people complained that the pink were or whatever, but my black ones are not). Cheers.

Another thing on YS. Their website is still too slow and rich. Just give customers a clear option to go into the shop, I don't need all this other busy page stuff. If it's unclear and slow, the customer will click off and move on.

I found the run day crops sheer. I feel like all luxtreme bottoms are. I sized up even though the smaller size fit better. Sizing up helps a little but it's still sheer bending over and they aren't very compressive sizing up.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 6:27 am - yep, agree on that one. They need a button to just shop and skip the intro.

@anon 6:27 and Luluaddict - I love their site and how the photography is laid out. seems so be so much richer and not just about shopping but more about yoga and wanting to connect. Its one of the things I liked the most - anyone can put up a grid with bunch of things to shop -- i love the experience of the YS site but I do agree it can be faster -- lol -- I have no time.
