NEW!! Fluff Off Pullover, Jacket, Vest; Fleecy Keen Jacket, and Base Runner LS and Pant

The new down items have hit the stores. This is the Surge Fluff Off Pullover. The pullover is $158.

The Fluff Off Jacket in Black, White, and Deep Zinfandel. The jacket is $198.

New Base Runner LS in Pique Rulu. This looks like the same extra warm rulu used in the super popular Turn Around LS (aka, TA LS). I wish this top was as simply designed as the TA. The LS is $88. Also shown is the Fluff Off Vest and Base Runner Pant.

More Fluff Off Vest photos. Shown with the Raspberry Base Runner LS.

The new Fleecy Keen Jacket. This is $198.

I just started running outside this summer, so I haven't had to worry about colder temperatures. I have a Run Full Tilt LS which is perfect for the fall days, but I think the Fluff off vest is adorable. Can anyone tell me if the fluff off vest is going to be too warm for running in Dallas, TX? TIA! <3

Love the down. Are the Fluff Off jacket and the pullover both designed for run? The pullover definitely looks that way, but not sure on the jacket. Want both, but can probably only afford one for now.

In the picture of the white jacket with the ear warmers, does it look like she's wearing a new cowl neck shirt? Or is that part of the jacket? Looks like it could be a new shirt to me, as it looks like it is peeking out below the bottom of the jacket, too.

How cold does it get in Dallas during the winter? I wouldn't think you'd need a down vest until it got into the teens or lower.

Does anyone know what the grey ls under the black vest and the girl is wearing the leather cap toque

dangnabbit. this could be a $$$ night for my lulu budget. I NEED that FO pullover. AND the vest. AND the base runner top. I had been steering away from LLL for a while but the siren song keeps pulling me back in....

I am new to your blog! Love it by the way! I notice you post items that are not yet available in my stores. (Philadelphia Area)-Any idea when we can expect the fluff pullover in stores?

I hope this is the resurection of Lulu - alot of these items look great! I like them all except the fluff jacket. I think the horizontal lines will not be flattering, and it does not look good in any of the pics, except for that girl in the black one walking the dog (but she looks like a sz 2 anyway, so anything would look good on her).

@anon 3:07 - that cowl neck looking thing is a neckwarmer. You can see the drawstring that tightens it. The texture looks different from the grey fabric that is peeking out from under her jacket. So I don't think it is all one piece together.

It's a good thing I just scored some powder skis at half off. All that $$ I saved will be going to the vest and the LS. Love!

I think stores will get the pullover this week.

I run in the winter here in the Pac NW and I can't imagine running in a down jacket (even designed for run) unless I was running in Nebraska or Wyoming in the winter. Overkill.

I keep hoping for a rulu long sleeve top with no ruffles. I otherwise like the tops but I am just not a ruffle person.

Totally Anon @ 3:32

I live in Northern Ontario where temps go down to -35 sometimes. It was -2 yesterday and I wore my down filled running jacket from last year and it was overkill. I could have easily just worn my swiftly LS and my light down vest & mitts. I would wear this running pullover in late Jan & Feb and that is the only time of year it would be necessary. I do love the looks of them though, they are super pretty colours!

It's a good thing I live in San Diego and don't need any of this :) I haven't run in my Ivivva rulu LS top yet, but even that feels like it'll be too warm for running here. I can't imagine needing any of these. Bring on the crops and CRBs!

I totally agree with anonymous 3:32. I run all winter here in Park City, UT and it's commonly single digit or even colder. I can't imagine running in a full down jacket. The long base layers, vests, and shells are great, but that jacket is indeed overkill.

When I was out in Arizona last Feb I went running in 30 degree weather in my Turn Around LS "pique" rulu top with a CRB underneath and luon pants and almost died of heat stroke. Low 30s MIGHT be ok for a rulu pullover as long it was a lighter weight one.

I will get that Base Runner LS. Have a similar one from last year and love it. Love Rulu. I'm in Southern Ontario, our winters are very cold and my rulu shirts are my go too items for hardcore winter running. I am SO glad I'm not interested in any of this fluffy jacket stuff (wouldn't even buy on markdown). However, I would never trade my Run Bundle Up Jackets (2 of them, on markdown during Boxing Day). They have served me so well for some fall and definitely winter runs. Awesome when hiking in the mountains when I visit. (I get a ton of compliments too.)

Zero interest in the Fleecy Keen jacket. Any of the other fluffy stuff, for that matter.

The neck warmer is grey piqué and $28. Very long like the ones from last year. I picked one up today.

@3:19pm go to the Wayne store as they had a lot of the new items and I got a bunch today!

LLA - Any word on the Hot Cheeks skirt making a revival? I missed out last year and am hoping for one.

Fluff Off jacket is TTS. Size down for the Fluff Off pullover. I bought both today! They are beautiful and well made. I will probably go back tomorrow for the Keen in Inkwell. It is so much better than last year's Bundle Up. Stretch side panels improve the fit and comfort. Manager said more great product on the way over the six weeks

The NJ stores got the pullover, the LS, the vest, fleecy keen jacket, and the FO jacket tonight. Tried on the LS and the pullover, they are both TTS.

Sizing-wise, the pullover depends on if you like your jackets tight. The rulu part stretches, but the down part obviously doesn't, so if you have a bigger chest than average, it would be a size up. When I put it on in the store, I started sweating a little. That sucker is WARM. Bought the black/herringbone PO.

The LS was, true to form, cozy. I liked the texture, the pique was awesome, but the fit was slightly off. It wasn't as comfortable or flattering as the Full Tilt. My store didn't get it in the Orchid, otherwise I might have gotten it.

Any word if the Fluff Off pullover is TTS? Thanks!

What a cute doggy!

any word on what other items will be re(released) in the color surge? hoping for the swiftly or a tulu LS in that color! ty :)

that orchid LS is really pretty. for the poster who tried it on, how does it compare size/fit wise to the full tilt? TY

I read this once and it's always helped me to dress for winter running (especially when I was in grad school in Iowa)...dress as if it's 20 degrees warmer and you're not exercising. I live in seattle now and I'm still figuring out how to dress for runs, but it's definitelt a lot easier than dressing for frigid temps!

Unknown said...

Weird. I run in the pnw and its normally around 20 to 30 degrees in the early am.. I love my fluff off vest from last year..wear it all the time. I think the pullover is perfect for these temps. Not overkill at all with a tank under.

Dewa said...

Also, Ican't imagine wearing down to run in. Even in below freezing temps.

Unknown said...

Me too! My buns and hips are always freezing and I curse all the time that I didn't buy the skirt. It may have looked like a diaper but in the dark at 5am who cares??

That's kimmy the store owners doggie. He is a sweetie!

@Tara - The Hot Cheeks skirt sold very well so you think they'd come out with it again. My sister loves hers.

Do you think there will be another knee length winter jacket that comes out this year? I've been thinking about the polar parka, but when I tried it on I just don't see it being warm enough for Canadian winter. Thoughts?

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 5:39 pm - I am reading the pullover is hard to get on - it's narrow - people are going up a size.

Tifferoo said...

I bought the black fluff off jacket. I definitely needed the bigger of my 2 sizes (6-8 on top) to accommodate my always size 8 hips. But the fit of the jacket in the 8 is fabulous. I was wearing my size 8 turn around jacket in Black Swan from 2+ years ago, and I like the fit of this new one better.

@3:19 - I was also in the Wayne PA store today and that is where some of these photos are from. Other photos are from the Suburban Square store in Ardmore. If you like their facebook pages you will see these pics because they post them there. That is a good way to find out what products they have in store.

@ Jen - I got the polar parka and have the tags on waiting for a longer one too.
To the naysayers on down. YES, you need this in most Canadian (and I'm guessing northern US) cities. I used my Run Bundle Up from last season and I had to layer a lot, but 2 things got annoying:
1. I got hot with too many layers and,
2. I used the hood on the jacket, but if I got hot I would have this damn hood flapping.

What would be nice if for them to make a light puffy jacket for casual wear (no pit venting, brr). They had some last year but they weren't light, they were like the Michelin Man!

I have the pullover which I got just because I like the look of it and to wear. I know it will be way too warm to run in where I live - vancouver. It was chilly tonight, and I had a mid layer long sleeve on and it was perfect with toques, and mitts and tights. I recently purchased fluff off jacket as well - but not crazy about the fit so it's going back. i keep having to pull the jacket over my hips to keep it from riding up and bunching up in the middle. I sized up from 4 - 6 and still it felt like it was a bit tight
