Why would they design a run tank to look like an old-lady bra?

Ebb to Street tanks are back in stock in a few colors on the US site.

Went to a store today to check out new items and was hoping to get some sale items. There was almost nothing marked down - boo.
I was most interested in seeing the Fluff Off items. The vest didn't really do it for me. I thought I would be going home with the pullover, but I did not like it when I tried it on. I LOVED the jacket, and bought it in the black. My TTS 6 was really flattering, and the herringbone is super soft. I tried the size up to 8 for layering, but it did not look as flattering. Really happy with this purchase - I am wondering if I will end up running in it or wearing it casually instead...it is so nice that I don't want to trash it!

The zin is cute but still look like a nursing bra to me...

2 in Run tank is awful. Looseness, no thanks, I'd never wear it. I understand LLL is trying to create a looser body of the tank, but this is bad. It looks as though one pulled down their bra over a tank top...put their clothes on the wrong way, got dressed in the dark.

This is just like the tank (forget the name) from not too long ago, that was in aqua or whatever, with the white "bra" strap across the back.

The designers really need to take a step back and use a critical eye. It's hard to believe this gets the go ahead.

I run early in the morning and it is super dark outside. I love the reflective speed shorts!

Toronto shoppers, Yorkdale Shopping Centre LLL has the Dance Studio Jacket in blue (cornflower?) size 4 and 6 (maybe more sizes but I didn't look that closely) for $99. I didn't buy it as I have a dark grey one from a few years ago and it will always get chosen over the blue one when I wear my DS jacket. But anyway, it's a good deal if you were waiting for a md. They have various items marked down, there were a lot of green bean/ink jackets, not the Forme but the Nice Asana version (? it's a longer jacket). There were s/s swiftly shirts, there was a green bean Star Runner Pullover in a size 10. They also had the Om Leotard in plum, I think in a size 6. I think it was $99. They also still have the Surge CRB in many sizes, and a few Paisley CRB's (not sure of size) if you were after it. This is all as of 9:00 p.m. tonight.

I tried on the Base Runner Pant in the black and the heathered black. I an a consistent size 4 in LLL bottoms. I tried both a 4 and a 6 in the colour versions. I could wear either size, but I probably would buy the 6. The 4's were not too tight at all. I'm going to think about them. I love rulu but I really cannot justify another pair of LLL bottoms. They did feel quite comfortable, which is a given for rulu :)

I picked up the Base Runner l/s in deep zinfandel. I bought my usual size 4 and I did not find it too tight at all. It doesn't bother me that it's not reversible as I like the pique side the most anyway. The interior is SO soft.

I tried the Push ur Limits Tank and I thought it fit horribly with darts that dont match up and the neck line is not flattering at all! Should be on WMTM very soon.

I pulled the trigger on the Surge Fluff Off pullover. It is freaking gorgeous! The color is slightly lighter than Surge and looks like the color in the pictures. The store only had a 6 so I bought it, but then ordered a 4 from the website to compare. The 6 was big in the sleeves and long, although it might be nice layered over other items. I will decide once the 4 comes. I have a feeling it might be a better fit.

Thank you to the person who alerted us to the Ebb to Street Tank being back up. I missed out on that before and just ordered the heathered plum!!!
BIG SCORE TONIGHT!

I think the 2 in run tank has an amazon warrior look to it.

Agreed. THat tank makes their boobs look saggy.

I think the 2 in Run is better for smaller chested girls; those bras make larger chested girls look awful!! They just flail to the side… no support at all.

As a guy, I still can't get over that women wear these outfits to the gym...yes, I'm sure they are comfortable, but goodness, they leave nothing, and I really mean nothing, to the imagination.

Oh well....you go girls!

Agreed, Anon 6:00am. I've given up on tops by LLL. I'm 36DD and nothing fits or provides enough support. LLL stopped making the t-shirts that fit and actually looked good on me (either Live Simply or Lively or something like that). The strappy tops don't provide enough support and don't look good with the support bras I have to wear.

Someone mentioned the 2-in-1 run tank looking like a nursing tank. That's exactly what it looks like on top! Too bad it doesn't function like one, since lulu could market it to a certain segment of its market. As it stands now, I'm not sure many people going to go for it.

@ anon 11:20 am - you mean snug stretchy pants and a Push UR Limits or a 2 in Run Tank? Okaaaay. Women have been working out in snug little stretchy things since at least the mid-80s and the Jane Fonda era, where have you been?

In the Flow Crops are selling for $29 in Raspberry Pink??? and Cornflower at Vaughan Mills.

LOL! @ 11:20 am. As the saying goes - if you've got it flaunt it. I don't hear any of the men at my gym complaining. In fact from the many admiring glances I get I think they are pretty thrilled with LLL. And don't get me wrong I am for sure not about pleasing the men but more want to look good for myself and well put together no matter where I am or what I am doing. And if you want to perform well you wear clothes that help you do that. The outfits on these ladies are actually pretty well covered up in my opinion compared to some LLL items! And I've definitely seen worse from other brands - i.e. too short shorts from nike, under armour etc. and sheer to boot!

OMG LLA - I just read your post! Remember when women in the 90s used to wear short shorts with a thong on the outside!!!

Re: 11:20...there's an Anon guy on here. Probably more than one. Creepy!

@ anon 3:19 pm- I used to have these panty-type bottoms over my workout stocking/tight things and a mid drift-baring top - total Jane Fonda - but I had the shape back them to pull it off, too. ;-)

11:20 you should try a bikram or hot yoga class. some of the outfits people wear in these classes will make anyone blush.

What are those weird circle seams on the 2 for run tank? Ugh the Zinfandel is such a pretty color but those seems ruin it for me :(
