Base Runner pant photos.

So, anyone get surprised with their Base Runner pant order this week? I thought I was ordering the black Base Runners but it turns out I really ordered the Heathered Black ones. (Good thing I decided to go with a smaller size at the store earlier this week.) I only looked at the photo and not the description. The photos/descriptions are switched for the Black and Heathered Black pant. So, you've got to go by the description and not the photo when you order if you are ordering them right now. I've read comments from people who got their orders earlier this week so lululemon knows about this problem and is paying for return shipping. HOWEVER, it's Thursday and this still HASN'T been fixed. Can someone write up a work ticket already and get the photos fixed on the website? WTH.

Yep, I got my order and was surprised to see heathered black pants instead of the solid black I thought I ordered. In the end I swapped them for a pair of Astros anyway...the Base Runners are cute but I would mostly wear them around the house I think. $108 is a lot for "around the house" pants.

I am so confused! It says I ordered the black/black soot ones. I meant to get the gray ones, so are the gray ones actually the heathered black/raspberry/black description? Seriously will be so mad if the black ones show up in the mail.

Do you happen to know if the zin piqué base runner LS will be coming in the half zip pullover? I've been wanting to pull the trigger on the LS but not if the half zip is coming in that color. I just don't like the scoop hem. Enough with that design already.

Thanks for the heads up on the base runner pants! I haven't received mine yet, but was luckily able to reorder the correct ones before my size sold out. I did wonder about that when ordering, but so often they'll throw a color in the description that isn't even in the product all all, so I trusted the product would match the picture. (The deep Zinfandel/winter orchid fly away tamer head band is an example of that...no winter orchid at all, even in the stitching, it's all deep Zinfandel...WTF?)

Non-existent WMTM upload but for those in Toronto i'm seeing lots of Blue Moon and Cornflower items on markdown at the stores including the Full Tilt in Cornflower for $59

Also saw some Green Bean Star Runner pullovers for $74. Wished they had marked down the Green Bean striped Full Tilt though.

Hey LLA, same thing happened to me with the base runner pant. The customer service chick was an idiot. She had no idea what I was telling her. Told her the photos of the heathered black ras and black/macro micro were swapped. Anywho, I drove to my nearest store to exchange. Also, purchased the piqué black base runner LS. Love piqué, but this top felt awful! There is plastic in the seams near the underarm and it was soooo scratchy. Took the top off and returned ASAP!

Is it only myself? I really find the Raspberry and Surge dull in most pieces. The only pieces I like in Raspberry is the Swiftly and Surge CRB. They are really dull when paired with stripes like the hideous 2 in Run. So cheap looking. Wild Orchid is meh too.

@ anon 7:08 pm - It's not you. I sold off all my old raspberry pieces from like 3/4 years ago and only have a surge hat that I never wear. I tried on some of the new raspberry tanks but can't get over my previous "fatigue" of the color. However, I do like it in different, non-technical fabrics, like the Open Your Heart LS and I have a feeling I might like them in the Swiftly since it tends to look heathered in that fabric. I also might like a Raspberry or Surge Energy bra but I don't really see those but think the straps will look nice against some of my CRBs.

I got the all black pants instead of what I thought I ordered which was heathered. I just talked to the GEC and she didn't know about the switch either. She was nice, was going to reorder for me and I had not read this yet. I told her I thought the pics were switched. She is trying to track it down and call me back. I wish they'd let me keep both for $108 but I'm sure they won't.

I got myself a green bean full tilt on MK last week at Square One store. It was my most expensive single lulu trip ever. I went in just to get the Pique Forme but got a Cornflower Ziggy NL on markdown. On my way out of the store I noticed the GB Full Tilt for $59. Hubby doesn't know yet....

Can't wait to get my hands on the raspberry Ebb to Street tank ! Please come to North America soon !

WMTM finally up - it's 5:30ish on the east coast and I just noticed it. Lots of cornflower and inkwell green bean items. And some ss swiftly colors from the summer. I may finally get the LR!

I agree - raspberry does nothing for me and surge doesn't really either except in the swiftlies and the surge CRB. The surge pique items are almost too garish for my taste as is the raspberry.

I'm going to stop in a store today to see if they have any full tilts on MD. I have the plum/inkwell and love it. And $59 is a steal for such a nice top!

here is e mail from lulu regarding the base runner pants:

Thank you for reaching out to us at lululemon athletica.

As promised, I wanted to follow up with you regarding your order and our Live Chat conversation earlier. After some further digging, it appears that there is a mix-up of photos for the Base Runner Pant, where the heathered black/raspberry/black colour is showing a photo of the black Base Runner Pant (where the description is actually black/half micro macro black soot). We have reached out to our Web Team and we hope to have this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Your order is currently for the heathered black/raspberry/black colour Base Runner Pant. As I understand that you wanted the black Base Runner Pant, since your order has already shipped out (and is expected to arrive tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2013), we are more than happy to waive the return shipping fee for you to send that garment back to us. If you would still like the black Base Runner Pant, we are also more than happy to help you place a new order, and for bringing this issue to our attention, we would like to offer you complimentary priority shipping for this new order. If this works for you, please let us know!

I got the surge no limits tank and I think the color is wonderful. I can't wait to go to yoga in this top.
The raspberry on the other hand is a bit dull, I am not crazy about pink though.

I got a similar email to @5:04am. At least they are reaching out to those who have contacted them and are trying to remedy the situation. I opted to return the pants to my local store because that is easier for me than dealing with taking them to a post office. It is nice that they are offering overnight shipping to get you your pant quickly as well. It was so nice speaking to an English speaking rep as well -- so many companies outsource their customer service to foreign countries which usually results in more frustration!

Thank you for contacting the lululemon athletica Guest Education Centre (GEC) in regards to your order. I am sorry to hear that you have received the wrong Base Runner Pant. This was a technical issue we have now corrected on our site and we do acknowledge how much of an inconvenience this is for you. As I did attempt to give you a call I have left you as message asking you to call us back. We would love to initiate a return for the current Base Runner Pants you have and place a new order for the correct pair. For your experience we would also like to offer you complimentary over night shipping so that you will receive the pair you have been waiting to sweat in a love right away.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and would like to apologize for this technical inconvenience. You can reach us toll free at, 1-877-263-9300.

i had a similar thing happen with my brisk run neck warmer online order - i ordered mine in surge, but the grey/white is what was in my bag in the mail - i was curious where the mistake was so double checked my actual online order, which was surge - the grey was not even an option to order online (however is in stores here) - the packing slip also showed it being surge, and surprise, the hang tag on the neck warmer also had the surge colour code on it - seeing as i haven't had this happen before, i called lulu to see what they would say about it - the girl didn't understand what i meant at all, nor did she apologize in any way, then said ' i can help you by ordering you another one before its gone - ill just need your credit card .
I didn't go for it as i do live near a store, so ill return it myself and maybe purchase a surge one when they show up in stores. Then the 'educator' ended the call by saying 'I'm so glad i could help you! what?! Boo
