I tried on several of the Fluff Off items in my store today. I loved the pullover - it fits true to size and is very warm and cozy. The Fluff Off vest is great too - but seems not as warm - also it is a definite size up item. I tried on my normal size 6 and it was super tight and the side stretch panels showed every bump. The 8 fit much better. If it was a little warmer, I would have bought it. The raspberry Base Runner LS is GORGEOUS! The color is so bright and saturated. I also tried on the Base Runner pant - I think they are true to size. I got my normal size 6 - they are a bit slouchy but the fit is intended to be that way. I tried the 4 (size down) and they were too fitted. Hope this helps
My store had all the new stuff out and I bought way too much! The new Zinfindel Vinyasa, In the Flows and Pullover, the white Fluff Off jacket, and the piqué neck warmer. I had to stop myself from buying more since I'm loving the new colors.
The Hot Cheeks Short is not thiner in the crotch/between the legs simply because they are not made for women whose tights touch! People please, did you all forget? lol
To speed tight cozy or not, that is the question! I'm not super into jewel tones, but the deep Zinfandel looks so pretty, and I figure the speed tight is a great way to wear that color since I would use them exclusively for running, not casually when I would probably never put on that color. But... I live in San Antonio, not exactly cold here, and I already have the regular speed tights. Anyone have the speed tight in cozy and love them??
OT. I so badly want a pair of brushed luxtreme running tights but I can't get passed the ruching in the Speed Tights :-/ The picture of the black ones look horrible, all wrinkled.LLA do you think there will be more winter running tights this season? Last year we had Run Ice Queen 7/8 and the Toasty Tech tights, and loved them both. But this year I like neither the Can't Stop nor the Speed tights.
saw the fluff off po in stores in nyc today. the deep zin IS a bit dull - wish it looked as vibrant as it does in these pics. the fabric they used for the down just kinda makes the color look very flat. then again, i guess i'm glad it's not as vibrant because it's a lot easier to resist! seriously, what are you ladies thinking of wearing this for?!?! its super cute, but i can't possibly figure out any scenario where i would want a down body and rulu sleeves - for activity the down is too warm, and for casual wear/still activities, the sleeves are too cold. super cute design though, the surge is especially lovely (and i'm very much a purple girl - just wish that purple was more vibrant!)
@ anon 1:57 pm - bwhahaha- how could I forget?
@sophia - I agree. I tried it all on today. I liked the vest a lot. I liked the jacket except for the fact that in the back of the jacket the rows of down get wider as you go from waist to bottom hem, which seemed to showcase the widening of my ass as you dropped your gaze - boo!
@3crazykids - Did the Zin vinyasa get uploaded on the US side? Or did you get it at a store? Also, is it Rulu?! Just curious because I really want one!!
Can anyone comment on the sizing of the base runner LS? I am between a 4-6 in all tops; I wear a size 6 in the swiftly LS, although the rulu LS I bought last year was a size 4. Any suggestions?
LLA, did you ever try on the Yeah Yoga tank? I'm curious if it fits like the Energy tank or if it is tight under the arms.
I tried on a few Fluff items today too. Im a size 8 and did not size up in any of these items. I liked the vest but felt like it would not be warm enough for me in the northeast once It hits December. I would not wear down running and this would be a casual wear item so I did not get it. I also tried the jacket and loved it! I don't own any jackets like this and got the Zinfandel. I actually like the fact that the color is not too bright. The only problem is that I discussed with my husband that I would not purchase any more Lulu before Christmas and if I really wanted any items they would have to be a Christmas gift! So I have to wait for christmas. Ah! I also tried the Base Runner LS in Orchid and purchased for Xmas. It's very soft and cozy. But it's a possible return item if I find something in the next few weeks that I like more.
@ Anon 2:09- I have the cozy speed tights in black and love them. I wore them for a 1/2 marathon a few weeks ago and they were great...temps in the 30's and I wasn't cold or too hot. I live in Denver though so not sure how much use you'd get out of them! Now I'm trying to decide between the inkwell and deep zin also.
Anon 209-I have a pair of the speed tight cozy from the last run ( probably a month or so ago). I love them, but I live in MA and can't wear them unless it's 45 or colder. I do like to run cool, though! I plan to pick up another pair to get me through the winter.
This made me giggle because my husband, like yours, has tried to make me swear off any more lulu purchases for a while. But it's haaaard cause its all so pretty!!! At least I know I'm not the only one.... :)
Anon 3:53, the tag says 82% Nylon, 10% Polyester and 8% Spandex. It says it's made from moisture-wicking Rulu! It feels like a thinner rulu but soft nonetheless.
And I forgot, I got it at a Chicago area store not online.
Anon 4 pm- def go with a 6. It's tighter than the full tilt. I tried my size up and it was a little too big but if you are in between sizes I would go with the larger.Anon 2:09- I wouldn't recommend cozy for your climate. I'm in Chicago and have been hot wearing them in 30 degrees!
I love my speed tight cozy tights I have two pair and the material is nice and thick and soft. I ran in the inkwell ones last night in cold breezy weather and they were perfect. I want the purple ones but my size is gone.M
