Deep Zinfandel Virasana Jacket

All the colors of the Virasana Jackets. I hadn't seen the Deep Zinfandel one yet.

They had the jackets at my store, the deep Zinfandel wasn't as rich as I thought it should be, and the fabric was really stiff. They looked like they run big (I didn't try them on because all that fabric would overwhelm my puny self). That being said the Keep it Cosy jackets that were on WMTM are pretty short. It fit me, and I am only 5' tall, but the sleeves were too long, so I didn't buy it even though it was only $79. (I can't imagine paying full price for that!). I don't know how anyone much taller than me would be able to wear that jacket and have it be long enough--it hit me right below my waist.

Off topic but... the love red striped heart opener tank is on WMTM. i've never had one of these before. do i stay with my normal size, which is a 4? Also, is it worth it? Is it a good tank or would I be better off saving my money for something else?

Anyone know if this is a size up/down item? I live far from a store & hate to order 2 just in case.

Has anyone tried this Virasana jacket on? Is it a tts item or size up/down. I live far from the closest store & would like to avoid ordering 2 sizes if possible. I am thinking of staying tts or possibly sizing up so it's not to snug across the hips/bum. Any insight would be great!!! Thanks :)

Does anyone know, are the new skinny grooves reversible?

Heart openers run pretty big! I'm normally a size 4 in swiftly racerbacks and a 6 in any tank with a built in bra (no limits, ebb to street). I sized down to a 2 n the heart openers because the 4s which I originally ordered were really loose on me. I'm 5'2, 125lbs and small busted, if that helps.

I forgot to say that I LOVE my heart opener tanks, once I got the right size. They're so comfy and flattering on me. I wish there were more available in size 2, but that size always sells out super fast.

@1:33 pm - I was thinking of buying a heart opener too but when I went back to the old entries on this blog opted to not do it because someone's comment was that it was just meh. Then I went into a store today and saw it in person and personally was glad I passed. It is very thin vitasea. Although the fabric is very soft and super stretchy there isn't much to it. For me this would have been a casual tank for next summer and I wasn't wowed by it and it is also very low coverage. I'd rather save $29 for something else so I ended up throwing the paisely crb in my order! If you are going to wear it to yoga I think it would be fine. I did not try it on although when I eyeballed my size which is also a 4 it seemed like it was about right - I would't size down based on seeing it today.

Also I agree that the deep zin does not look nearly as vibrant as it does on other fabrics. I got a PN for my store and they have this wrap in stock so I will check it out this weekend.

That wrap looks gross. The over-sized collar looks so stiff and bulky. Easy pass for me...

Heart Opener tank was a size down item for me (I'm 5 ft and 32A). I'm usually a 4 but had to size down to 2, and even then it was still a looser fit.

In regards to the virasana jacket, what is the middle color shown in the pic? Does anyone know what the fabric is inside the wrap? Soft or stiff?

OT on this wrap...did I miss the WUP in the Zin BB? I hear of everyone getting them at the stores - were they ever uploaded? Thanks.

Agree, easy pass on the Virsana wrap/jacket, whatever it's trying to be. Originally, the other day, when I saw that first image of the back, I thought it was nice, then I saw the front. Now that I see more, I just think it is not flattering. I don't know, maybe it'll be hot but I think it's destined for wmtm.

OT I laid a pair of straight grooves over my beloved Energize and the cut of the legs were exact. This surprised me because I did not like the straight grooves at all! So with a bit more investigation I realized that I bought the Energize pants in an 8, and my usual Groove size is a 6 (I probably own 30-40 pairs over the course of 5 years). LLA this may be the problem you had with the fit?

The front of the Energize waist band is at least 1 inch lower (rise), but the back is the same, and of course the Energize has the back pocket and no seams down the back thigh. I'm going to take back the 6 and try on the 8, but I did prefer the old luon of the EP. The new SG has a bit of a sheen, and it's not a size thing because the sheen is there when I'm not wearing them.

There is no LLL symbol on the reverse side and the tag does not say that they are reversible for the person that asked. I think they look the same on both sides, so it would be a personal choice.

I was really disappointed on most of the new products. I went in prepared to make a large purchase today but my store (Palo Alto) only had about 1/3 of what was uploaded this week.

This is totally OT, but given all the bad press is getting lately I thought it might be nice to share that i've just had the most pleasant and helpful customer service experience EVER, and it was dealing with lululemon. I order online all the time since I have no store close by, and I was away for almost 2 months for work so i had a load of goodies waiting for me when i got home. Of course, 2 of the CRBs i ordered ran on the small side, and a pair of inspires i ordered were a little on the sheer side (not drastic, but i powerlift so ANY sheerness is a no-go). I explained this to a rep (go Rita!) and she processed the return for both items without any hassle. She was also very helpful answering my questions, and just gave me a real feel good feeling. The fact that i'm going to get back my $170 is also amazing! So yeah, not everything is bad in lululand it seems lol.

Thank you to everyone who responded about the heart opener tank! After reading your comments, and the reviews online I decided to pass as well. I'm a 4 in tanks and most recommended to size down but there were no 2's available. With the 'meh' reviews, I'd rather save my $29 +tax for something I don't feel so iffy about!

The wrap is a big pass for me. The huge collar looks ridiculous and the material is so stiff and uncomfortable.

Heart openers do run big. I would size down. I am a 10 in CRBs and i can wear an 8 or even a 6 in them! They are very soft and stretchy.

@ anon 7:37 pm - I always thought the Energize felt looser in the legs than Grooves. I have the same size in both Grooves and Energize. I have the first run of Energize pants and in black luon. I can't remember if the fit changed with subsequent releases.

These jackets are a size down item...tried it on in store

Same question over here! Did I miss something?

I stopped by my local LLL store yesterday and they had just unboxed this jacket. I was just thinking I needed a warm coast type layer for walking to my 6am pilates class and this jacket is it! Bought the dark grey for practicality. I wear a 6 in LLL tops and ended up with a 6 because I figured if I wear this with a sweater I'd want room in the sleeves (probably could have gotten away with a 4 though.) It is very substantial feeling jacket - heavy, thick fabric and a little stiff (but I think it will relax with wearing.) It is a tad long on me (I am 5' 4") but I wanted to bundle up and this will do the trick. The collar zips up to make a cozy, warm shawl effect.

Bought the wrap in a size 2 - sized down. A little more stiff but a substantial fall coat or winter layer. Got it in the light grey and love it!

I sized up. I just picked up the charcoal. The 4 fit but was snug in the hips so it made the middle billow out. It does have a 2 way zipper so the kinda gets rid of the problem but I found the 6 fit much better as far as I wanted it not to be body hugging, I want to wear it as a jacket/coat, it's really thick.

I was TTS 6, it was a little loose by the waist but when I tried the 4 it was snug in the hips. I bought the purple.

How much is the virsana wrap selling for?
