Upload!

Live Simply Black/Heathered Black

En Route Jacket

Green Bean CRB

Karmady SS
The upload finally happened, albeit later than usual. I was hoping for the Pique Forme Jacket and/or Surge Swiftlys so nothing for me. Did you get anything?

I had to have the GreenBean CRB & Vinyasa Scarf in Green/inkwell. I was hoping for the LS Swiftly in Surge &the SE Grey. Oh we'll maybe next week.

I was hoping to get the RFYL October Inkwell WAFS crops, but now I can't even find the RFYL crops at all... did they get recalled?

Commuter denim angel wing/inkwell Scuba! :)

I grabbed the Dog Runner pants and Green Bean CRB... I'm liking the look of the new hyperstripe/angel wing No Limits tank! Can't seem to pull the trigger on the pink vinyasa... thought I would but I just don't think I would get enough use out of that color.

Green Bean tank top is pretty cute =)

I ordered the gloves and the cornflower small towel. My wallet is pretty safe until the colors change from green bean and pretty pink.

Seawheeze items are in the Australian stores.

Do you think the Dog Runners are exactly the same as last year since the website used exactly the same pictures?

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. I want to try the dog runner pants on first to check the size. I'm loving the shirt that the girl has on in the photo of the black swan pants on the lulu website. Is that an old photo of a runder under sirt from last year?

Also someone commented on an earlier post that black swan is hard to match but I don't think it will be.

I am buying less and less online and I have no store in my province. Ive found that many items ordered online have come to me and were of poor quality. I now wait till Im travelling and go look in the store. lulu is too much money to blow on poor quality, so I have to see it before buying. I use to be a $500-$1000 customer a month. not anymore! Im holding out for the new GWs and thats it for me. :)

Green Bean CRB :)

Karmady ss was not uploaded in Canada..

Nada for me. I keep hoping for plain inkwell tops in LS and SS and a tank. I wonder what will be on WMTM. I'm hoping the ras glow and moonbeam hyper stripe CRB's make it there soon. They've been sitting around in all sizes forever!

If anyone needs a Lulu Personal Shopper, I live near 2 stores and can help you out. :)

I had been waiting for the GB/inkwell vinyasa, so I ordered that. Also ordered the angel wing NLT - I've been buying too many NLTs lately, but they are all so pretty! Tempted by the dog runner pants, but reviews were all over the place on size, so hopefully I'll be able to try them on in store.

SW gear is up on the AUS/NZ website

At least they got rid of the Mermaid/Hat above the logo...

Is the Live Simply a size up or down or TTS? Thanks so much.

Got the Green Bean CRB. Looking at the Dog Runner pants, but 1) Is black swan purple or more navy? and 2) are these just completely unrealistic for use in Dallas, TX due to the weight? 3) Can the drawstring be used to fold the pants under? I'm 5'2".

Nothing for me for the first time!! So glad since I spend way too much since summer!

Anonymous said...

What color is black swan?

Anonymous said...

I am loving the green bean color in part because it is the same vibrant green as our school colors. So I bought the CRB, the vinyasa, and the karmady top. The karmady top is something I would never have considered but in green, I felt I needed it. I bought two sizes to see which I like and will return the other. I wish they still had the green bean inkwell ear warmer, I missed that one. Any idea if we will ever see the paisley angel wing LS swiftly?

Didn't get anything from the US side, but ordered triangle and pigment blue seawheeze speeds from the Aus side...

I'm excited! We'll see when my relatives get around to shipping them to me, though.

Pretty tempted by the black/flare track attacks and pigment blue stripe fast tracks, too.

Black Swan is a very dark purple.

Anonymous said...

It's not hard to match at all. It's a great color.

Anonymous said...

LLA - Do you own a rulu vinyasa scarf? If so, are they worth the price? I'm tempted by the pretty pink! Although I'm sad that it doesn't have a reversible color like gray or something.

Anonymous said...

Super OT question... anyone know when LLL starts giving out gift receipts for Christmas?

Anonymous said...

Which pants are the best for guys?

Anonymous said...

To Anon: The RFYL crops went to WMTM last week.

Anonymous said...

OT. Did anyone notice that the Run Inspire crop *SE Reflective never made it online? Those were in-store only item. There was a post about them on this blog earlier last month. I had an Angel in Canada helping me to get a pair. I don't run at night but where I am weather is very hazy in the mornings. If anyone is wondering, they are just the same Block It Pocket *SE but with a strip of reflective tape in the calf detail (in addition to the waterproof zippered pocket on the waistband). So bummed I had bought the block it pocket too. And $92 for the extra reflectivity.

They are more purple, I have them. I live north of Houston so I'm sure you'll be fine in Dallas- it's been colder recently for you guys!

Question: in the upload email we all must have gotten right after the upload, there is a link to vote on the items we want to make a come back. When I opened it, the fine "finalists" were being modeled by one of the current models in the websites and it looked as if they were new colors, like with the Savasanna wrap for instance. Please someone correct me if that wrap in that color was out before.
So my question is, do you think all five designs will make a comeback?
Lulu already confirmed the GW will, and that is not even one of the five "finalists" in the "contest".
So i'm wondering what the real criteria to bring a popular design back is.

I just picked up the dog runner pants in Black Swan over the weekend and loved them! I am an 8 in the studio pants but a 10 in many other lulu pants and definitely needed a 10 in these. In reading reviews, it seems that the curvy girls get to size down or stay TTS and the straight hip girls (like me) definitely need to size up because the waist is tighter. The 8 looked so much better on my butt, but were way too tight on my waist.

Also I was told the black swan color is to be used as a neutral and is a very very deep/dark purple. I found it looks great with all of my plum items but also looked good with my navy jacket too...

Hope that helps! :)

What shirt is the model wearing in the photo of the black swan dog runner pant? I love it! Is it an old item or a glimpse of something coming out soon???

Anonymous said...

6:56 AM anon

Dark swan reminds me of the color of an eggplant. Very dark purple.

anon 6:56 AM
color black swan is like an eggplant, dark purple

@Eric - I don't see any of the men's Sea Wheeze rulu pullovers on the aussie side.

Just got back from my store the Live Simply Jacket runs TTS to slightly large, but I found it too long the same length as the Asana Jacket. It comes in Cornflower Blue, I found it to be meh.

I also saw the Avenue Pullover in Greenbean/Inkwell stripe, I found it to be too heavy, heavier than the Scuba.

Again nothing for me, everything is so overpriced for what you are getting.

8:12 I found a pair of the reflective inspires at my local store Union Square NYC. it was the only pair in the bin and just so happened to be my size. They didn't make many of them. I am running in them this evening.

The shirt with the dog runner pants is from last year I am certain. It looks like the old colors from last winter, clarity yellow and beaming blue. And it has that duck bill hem that many people did not like.

@ anon 8:58 am - thanks for the fit review on the Live Simply. I was toying with the idea of ordering it but I am deathly afraid the black will fade. I would love an all over heathered color so I don't have to worry about fading so much.

Anonymous said...

I wish they wouldn't have color blocked the Live Simply jackets. My old ones are super comfy but are limited on color pairs with the color blocking.

Luli Designs said...

I bought the green bean crb and the green bean hyper stripe vinyasa. I so did not need another hyper stripe vinyasa because I already have the other three rulu ones but I couldn't resist!

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me! I saw the live simply hoodie in stores and it was very thin, faded, and the logo didn't line up along the zipper...also not fond of the green or pink

Anonymous said...

Intrigued by the enroute jacket. The photo looks super cute. Finally caved and got the ziggy october angel wing CRB, something that will go with all my colorful bras! Also, I'm a sucker for pink/gray combos... so ended up getting the pretty pink slalom stripe energy tank to boot.

Anonymous said...

Ok, I'm taking my comment back that i was intrigued by the enroute jacket...., i was intrigued by the front, until i saw the back! not my cup of tea!

Anonymous said...

Just ordered the live simply in INK & hope it has some substance to it, for I need a INK colored top.
Haven't seen the Avenue top, but had planned on ordering once some new colors hit the web - but it sounds too heavy

Anonymous said...

M @9:04 You had commented on this blog a while back, when you found that lonely pair at the Union Square store in NYC. Until then, I had been patiently waiting for them to show up online, since I'm in Europe I can only order online. But after your comment, it hit me that this special edition might be one of those few in-store only items. That's when I decided to go with the Angel in Canada and lo and behold, she found them in her store!
So thank you for leaving that comment about your random find ;-)

Help! Has anyone tried the C.Y.B tank? How does that run?

Karin said...

Nothing for me yet. I want to go to the store and try on the dog runner pants as I think they would be good for running, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

I'm tempted by the green bean CRB, but I would like to go to the store to see the color in person first. I can't tell if it will be too bright for me or not.

RunLikeTheWind said...

I too, thought Black Swan was a deep purple until I put a Black Swan CRB next to my Indigo WUC and the color was so close I couldn't tell the difference. I think we WANT it to be dark purple, but it's really a navy with warm undertones, vs. inkwell, which is a navy with cool undertones.
Snagged a Green Bean CRB. Was glad there was only one item this week that I wanted....need to space out my purchases!

Anonymous said...

Popped into my local store today. Found Wunder Under pants with the high low waist in the paisley inkwell. Haven't even seen them online yet. Reversible to solid inkwell. LOVE!!!!

Anonymous said...

I have to disagree. It's a dark purple. I have so many items in black swan and it's clearly purple. I also have items in deep indigo and inkwell and those are dark navy blues. The difference is quite clear between black swan and the blues.

Anonymous said...

i think i want a green been Ebb to Street tank more than a CRB, so i'm going to wait and see if i find one in a store. otherwise not really interested in anything but the Live Simply, and i certainly can't rationalize that! tempted by october inkwell CRB, and the model looks SO GOOD in the october inkwell Skinny Wills that it makes me want to keep the ones i just got in the mail yesterday... if only i looked like her in them!
sort of relieved the reviews are making the Karmady long sleeve sound like a pass....but also disappointed.

Anonymous said...

oh, and what's up with the En Route jacket? looks really nice (even with the back zipper), until they unzip it. will be cool for some people though - i picture it fitting in really well in montreal, and that's a compliment.

Anonymous said...

11:04 glad you found an angel. I really like my pair, since I run at night a lot in the city. I need all the visibility I can get.

Has anyone checked out the Victoria Secret Knock-out capri?
They're very opaque and compressive with many colors to choose from.

Glad the Bat Wrap wasn't uploaded. It's so hideous it would bother me seeing it online, as opposed to say, a Gratitude, or Method, or Universal wrap.
The pictures in the previous post (two girls are facing each other and are both wearing it) made me think that if that wrap came in Love Red, one could use it as a Halloween costume, your pick of a tomato or an apple. Just add a pair of the currant Wunder Under and throw the Green Bean scarf around your neck, with the two ends hanging over the shoulder. Like this:

http://www.costumesgalore.net/costumes/characters/food/tomato_costume_0346.html

PS. The tomato costume with the red tights, green leaves and hat is only $45!

Happy Halloween everyone!

I have the lined Studio pants in Black Swan from last year (got it on marked down) - yes, eggplant is an accurate description. I have no problem matching it with other colors (given most of my clothes are black/grey/white)...I am 5'4" and have no problem with the length. It is really long, but if you know how to tie correctly, it will hold the shorter length.
The top in the Dog Runner pants photo is a Runder Under from last year - I think it's made of Rulu and it's buttery soft! I hope they will be back this year!
Went to my local store today, they didn't have much of the new stuff from the upload. Did see the Avenue pullover in greenbean but it didn't look too sharp and certainly not for $118.
Asked the GEC about the Live Simply jacket and EnRoute jacket and no one knows what the heck they are. Are you kidding me? I think it should be a REQUIREMENT for GECs to keep up with the uploads so they know what's new!!!
Tempted by the commuter denim/inkwell Scuba - but I already have 9...also want the green bean vinyasa but I have the other 3 hyperstripe so I can't really justify another one :(
Did pick up a plum pacesetter on MD so my wallet is safe for the time being :)

Anonymous said...

Didn't buy anything from the upload, but I did get the Plum and Soot WAFS Inspires at the store yesterday. They had the shine tights in the store too, but I didn't even bother trying them on.

Anonymous said...

Did a store trip today and left without the GB CRB, not a good green for me. I much prefer Very Green which I was able to get in the Luon Power Y released months back. They did not have too many new things in store but I did try the Live Simply and it was too simple;) my Back to Class hoodie punks this one. It had nothing special and the colors are a little dull/ faded looking... Oh well no loss. I did get a couple of little deals:) Fast Cat skirt Hyper stripe RasGlo/ Plum $34 & Run Stuff your bra tank black $24!!! I never even tried it in store until today and I love it. It contains my 32dd boobies with no additional sports bra hooray!!!

Anonymous said...

yeah the bl. swan is a deep egg plant drk purple for sure I also have the inkwell and the indigo and indigo is also a type of deep purple compared to inkwell which is a true navy! get it out into the sunlight and you will be a believer that's the only light super bright that you can see the diff. I love black swan it was super pretty in the jacket because of the satin quality really brought out the luminous tones and richness of this unique color!!! wish that jacket would make another appearance! did someone say the live simply is out in green and pink? let me know as that would be fab!!!

Pretty pink vinyasa scarf for me!

@anonymous oct 22 at 8:03: WOW, i am going to be on the lookout for those high-low paisley WUs! i think someone at my pilates studio was wearing them today and i was wondering what they were...
are they mostly polyester though?

Anonymous said...

@anon 10:27
I got one of those paisley WUPs today in Toronto, the only one in the store and it was my size! It is mostly polyester, because of the print, but reversible if you tear the tag off. It is not see-through, although the luon feels thin. Will be great for yoga and gym.

Anonymous said...

@anon 5:04 PM: thanks! will be on the lookout. were they TTS? i seem to be a 6 in wunder unders but the polyester is sometimes a size up. thanks again!

also, @ anon October 22, 2013 at 11:17 AM: i tried the CYB in store and thought it was a size down. i wear 8 or 6 in most tops and tanks, and am in between sizes on power Y and things like NLT, where the 6 is just a little too tight in the bra part. in the CYB the 6 felt good and the 8 was way too big. hope that helps a bit!
