Plum En Route Crop

Plum En Route Crop.

Inkwell Ebb to Street Pant

I got my Wee Space September Black Inspires in the mail. I like them but I am a little at a loss as to what color to pair with them. They seem more grayish than black. To the right of them is a Wee Space Black Ta Ta Tamer, which you can see is more black looking. In the second photo I put a pair of black luon bottoms to show you how black looks paired against them. I mean, it goes with, but it doesn't really pop the wee space print. The black in the waistband even looks a bit lighter than the black trim on the Ta Ta Tamer. My pair also came with a little slub on one leg which I am a bit annoyed at. I might go try them on in the store and try some various other colored swiftlys with it and play a bit. I put them on for my husband and he said they weren't sheer. I am 95% sure I will keep them after I figure out what to wear with them.

Thanks for the fit and color report on the inspires. I'm waiting to receive mine - I'm on the east coast and won't get them until Tuesday. I wish they were true black so that is disappointing. Aside from that, I think any solid color tank will go with them. Glad to hear they are not sheer. Will report back on mine once I receive them. Thanks LLA!

I thought the same thing when I got my black wafs speed tights. I was expecting them to be darker. Still love them though.

I have been thinking about getting the plum wafs speed tights as well but I'm at a loss as to what to pair with them other than solid white or black. Any pattern would just be too much with it. But I have a hard time pairing colored bottoms with a colored top.

I agree the black WAFS this year isn't as crisp, maybe there's light soot in this version? From a distance, they read grey so I passed on them. I think they look snappy with split pea, or sizzle, maybe a soft pink like parfait, all kinds of blue I would imagine, and plum of course.

@ anon 6:59 pm - Ooh, split pea sounds like a good idea. I'll have to try that.

icy pinks look great w/ greys white greys and brownish greys alike!!

I'm planning to work my plum WAFS with a magnum full-tilt pullover, but any shade of grey would work I think. I prefer a creamier white like angel wing or polar cream to bright white, but ymmv. They look sharp with a black swan tank I have, and deep indigo, so inkwell too I'm sure. In Sept, lulu did ras glo with plum. Other non-lulu options are sage green, and brighter yellow-greens like Patagonia watercress from seasons past.

@ anon 10:24 pm - I do keep trying on the Blue Moon swiftlys every time I go to the story lately. Maybe I'll break down and get one.

OT. Need help! All of my run pacesetter skirts got static, the Swift fabric of the skirts stick to the luxtreme shorts! I had not worn any in like a year, but kept them neatly folded in a closet drawer, next only to other lll luon/luxtreme items.
What can I do? Would washing them solve the static problem? Thank you for any suggestion.

I went to the store yesterday and tried in the en route crops in plum and really liked them!! Probably the most opaque leggings I've seen from Lulu in a while! Nice fit too- I'm confused by what they are for though- casual legging? Yoga, run? I asked the Ed and she said they are not meant for yoga as they don't have full coverage but they seemed that way to me!

LLA I think that the inspires do go well with split pea and white as well as black, I can even see pigment blue or a light pink color with them, paris pink might be a bit much. Don't know if you are and orange gal but that would work as well. I actually like the softness of the grey better than the black.

I think blue (definitely blue moon) or pinks will pair nicely with these.I got a new NLT in blue moon/ziggy and I think it will be a cool look. Can't wait until Tuesday!

Also, does anyone wear their Swiftly half zip pullovers to the gym? I'm thinking about one but I don't know if it's strictly a running top.

Has anyone seen the Carry Me Om tote in person? Thoughts?

Can anyone comment on what the En Route crops are made of? Luxtreme or Luon?

Many Thanks!

I really like tender violet and love red with my black wee space bottoms.

My Pilates teacher today totally rocked the paisley en routes withe the white urbanite shirt and ebb & flow tank. She looked fabulous!

Anon12:21 - I never had static problem with my pacesetters but with static on other clothes - I rub a sheet of fabric softener sheet (the ones you put in your dryer) to take the static off. It works really well when I wear knitted beanies in the winter and my hair going static crazy afterwards! Not sure if this will affect the lulu fabric since I remember seeing somewhere about not use fabric softener when washing?

Plum en route crops are made of luon and luxtreme accents I think. I tried them on and theyre opaque but they were pants on me (5'3"). If they have them in black I think I'll get them. I saw plum and paisley at my store.

Thank you anon 2:06. I'll try that with one and see what happens, otherwise I'll wash them, I have a spray for that, but don't dare to use it on any lulu...
