Nothing interesting to me this week, which is nice because it frees up $$$ for some new-to-me lulu pieces I've been eyeing!!!

ebb to street pants look awful. gee, what were they thinking? Bring back the ebb to street TANK, those are missed already!

I just got the En Route crop at my local store today. It is made of Luon and the waistband is power luxtreme.

@Anonymous 2:44pm The En Route Crop is made of luon & luxtreme. Saw them in store today.

the ebb to street pants are amazing! bought them today. super thick, flattering and comfy. my new fav. def. more of a yoga or lounge pant.

Crops with paisley, that's just too much paisley for me.

Green bean + inkwell, why can't it be the "hyperstripe" (or whatever you call it) like they've done in the the hood of the new green bean scuba strech...I see there's to be a CRB but it's this wide apart, thin stripe business which I just do not dig.

The Ebb to Street Tank was Available in ALL colors and sizes last evening...On the US side it was under Layers We Love

I looked today and cannot find it at all and I dont think they sold out in all sizes and colors overnight. Must be a glitch in website. I think they will reappear or call the GEC and see if they can find them.

I can see hints for an angel wing exhalation pullover! If only it came in plum I'd be set! I'm on the fence for the journey crop... Any one recommend? I picked up a pair of herringbone wunder unders! Wonder if they are worth keeping!
Loving my urbanite long sleeve!

Have the Run Inspire Crop *SE Reflective (reflective tape insert on the calf detail) been released online in the US? Or not yet? Wondering if I missed them :-/

I posted on the LLL facebook asking where the Ebb to Street tanks went and if they will be back. I ordered two to try after looking at them at the store over the weekend. They were all sold out in my size in the store but the plum was a yummy color and the tank has a really nice feel to it. Those of you who have it, do you think it runs small? I ordered my regular size 10 and I hope they fit.

And in the better late than never category, I got the first of my orders from last weeks upload. I like the AW CRB quite a lot. I didn't think it was sheerer than a white top has reason to be, though it fits a bit tighter than my other size 10s which is perfectly fine by me because the size 10 always seems a bit baggy in the tummy area, and the 8 is a just a teensy bit too tight, especially in light colors. I also got the black hyper stripe CRB and I really like it. I ordered both an 8 and a 10 and while the 8 fits I think the 10 just looks and hangs a bit better so I'll be keeping that one.

When I was at the store on Saturday I also tried on the cornflower RSS and I agree that they fit like the RSS of old. They only had a 10 in store and I tried them on and they were HUGE on me, not flattering at all so my fingers are crossed that the 8 will be in just right. Just call me the Goldielocks of RSS. :)

Have a great hump day!

The Ebb to Street tank is still on the HK site but with it being US$20+ more than the US price, I'd still rather buy off the US site. Even with the shipping fees with the mail forwarder I use, HK is still way more expensive.

I hope it comes back to the US site. *crossing fingers*

I spoke with GEC last night enquiring about the Ebb to Street Tanks! Seems (to me) like GEC has no clue either so I was told most likely it's sold out. My sense is they didn't know it's no longer online...
Btw, has anyone seen the Angel Wing Vinyasa scarf in store? I've been stalking the website waiting for it's return but to no avail... If anyone is kind enough to angel one to me, I can pay via paypal and I'll be most grateful! :) Email me at sclim2320@yahoo.com.sg

I don't know about inkwell and green bean combo. Taking me back to the '80's and my Sporto duck shoes and monogrammed sweaters. Pass for me but more for those who like it.

Also got my AW CRB in my tts 4 and it is tourniquet tight in the bust - even though I have none. Boo.

Bought the inkwell lined DSP in regular. Website says inseam is 31" I think. I measured them - 29" and that's being generous. They are going back. Double Boo.

@7:37 PM yup I experienced the same. After the new upload, all EtS tanks were gone online, but they were available in all sizes and colors the day before. I called LLL, and was told that if they are not online, that means they were sold out, she also tried to explain how some of the items can be sold out within hours. But like this? one day available in all colors and sizes the next day all gone? I've never seen anything like this all these years I've been buying LLL. But she insisted. /shrug Honestly I don't think she knows what's really going on either.

I chatted with GEC just now asking about the Ebb To Street tanks. They tell me they sold out online, in all colors.

Frankly, I find that hard to believe since right before the upload, I just had put one in my cart (intending to purchase along with any items I might have liked in the upload) and I know they had several sizes still available for all colors.

I tell GEC this. Response was 'They go really quickly, because the website is open to such a wide variety of audience people jump on specific items and they sell out.'

Really? They sell out while you were updating your site for the upload? For an item you couldn't even find under the Tanks section?

Sorry for the rant. I just find it hard to believe and feel like she didn't bother looking into the issue more. For her, not on website = sold out. :P

3:49 the reflective inspires have not gone on line at all. I saw one pair at the union square store in NYC and lucky me it was my size so I grabbed it right away. I went back to the store and they never re stocked it. It is very strange the eds at the store said they only had a few pair in stock, I am glad I got them I really need a lot of visibility clothing because I run in the city when it is dark.

The missing Ebb to Street Tanks on the US side are definitely a website glitch and not a sell-out (as an educator on the website tried to suggest in response to a comment there). I happened to have 3 in my cart from prior to the new upload and even though they were not visible on the website, it let me check out with no issue. So I wouldnt despair, I am sure they will be back (as someone else commented just before the upload all sizes in all colors were available on the US side).

@Macfrannie, I am a 10/12 in Lulu and the Ebb to Street fits very nicely. No issues with armpit pinching or bra band tightness. I will say it can ride up when worn with luxtreme pants. That's my only really complaint. The material is super lux though. Never worked out in a tank like this!

macfrannie said...

I just got the response on my LLL FB post. They are saying the tank sold through on the US site... eyeroll. I frankly don't see how that could happen especially since it was essentially hidden and none of the sizes sold out individually before they all, poof magically sold out. Maybe they pulled them to replenish in the store stock since it was selling so well in the brick and mortar stores.

It is my fervent wish that they would just BE HONEST with us for once.

I love my journey crops. So comfy and breathable due to mesh on backs of legs. And the waistband does not cut in at all :)

@ anon 7:28 am - OMG Sportos! I remember those!! I was thinking the navy/kelly combo reminded me of the wooden-handled Bermuda bags and izod shirts with the collars flipped up and sweaters tied around our necks. However, the navy/kelly combo are being shows in other fashion lines so it must be the "new" thing being pushed this fall.

Oooo thanks so much! Must head to store now!

Thanks you!

@8:54AM - Thanks so much for the fit report. I'm excited to try the new tanks and I'm glad I didn't wait.

What I find doubly odd about the Ebb to Street mystery is there are so many other things that seem to linger on the site that just sit there, and sit there, and sit there and they don't pull them or move them to the actual stores or other warehouses. I honestly don't know if it is that easy to move stock internationally, I would imagine there are lots of tariffs and import/duty fees and taxes. But admittedly, that isn't my area of expertise by a LONG shot.

I bet if we are patient (not my strong suit, I'll freely admit) they will reappear. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is sort of irked by LLL GEC. I honestly try to avoid calling them for website stuff.

badly want the ebb to street pants after reading the reviews and of course size 4 is all sold out in all 3 colors. Has anyone seen these in their store yet? I am in Richmond,Va and checked the store today and they didn't have them and didn't know if they were getting them in at all in the store. Thank you!!!

I bought the ebb to street tanks online 3 days ago ( when all colors and sizes were available )and expecting the delivery later today. (whew!)
Got black and cornflower. ( had previously bought plum in store )
I wanted the white ( didn't order online because I wanted to see if it was see thru in person ) but the santa monica store was all out except for plum and black...which makes me think maybe they really did sell out online? Or ebayers bought them all to re-sell??
I'm bummed....I really wanted the white...

Does anyone find the paisley pattern to look old and tacky?

Anonymous said...

I think they were online in the US, but as for in store they have come and gone. Luckily I got a pair before they sold out!

Brief try-on report:

En Route crops: tried on plum, really nice, thick, compressive, but i didn't quite like how they looked. then the educator told me about the inkwell paisley. i tried them on and for some reason i brought them home! they seem like the kind of novelty item that will end up on WMTM so i might keep the tags on for now. the cuffs at the bottom are really fun, especially on the plum. paisley is not my thing but for some reason i liked them!

Ebb to Street pants: as usual, i think i am between sizes (6 and 8). i tried the plum and they weren't as forgiving (more lumpy bumpy) as the plum ebb and flow crops, which i already have in an 8. (full disclosure: various issues have kept me from my usual workout schedule lately so it might just be that i am lumpier and bumpier.) i wish i had tried/bought the inkwell in a 6, instead of the en routes. i'd wear these a lot more!

Got a free to be tank in Spry/WHite stripe for $29!
(Why was spry so unpopular?)

Also gave in and got the plum/inkwell vinyasa, which sold out on line. they had plenty in the Tysons Corner store.

Anyone else got the En Routes? ARe you going to run in them? Are you going to keep them?

I was a preppie in high so the blue and green striped Nice Asana jacket really appeals to me! I guess it is true that a leopard can't change it's spots (or in this case a Lulu can't change it's stripes!)

Anonymous said...

I love them too - for both aerial yoga and crossfit - got them in black and plum, did not expect to like, not sure why i even tried them on originally but love em now!

Anonymous said...

My store in California got them either today or yesterday!

can't stand those "too short scubas" wish they'd offer some longer lengths! i'm only 5'4" and a jacket that's too short isn't warm 1st off and 2nd it makes me look squat!!! 3rd it looks juivenille! No thanks lulu!!!
