On the Split Pea Karmady short sleeve...is the stitching coming loose on the hem of the sleeve?! I see loose threads. Really selling me on that top...

I'm in search of a short sleeve top though. I tried the Race Me Short Sleeve and hated the feel of it (the longs sleeve felt even worse on the inside). I'm looking at the v-neck swiftly because it looks like it has slightly longer sleeves than the regular short sleeve swiftly. Is it just my imagination? The regular short sleeve chafes me under the arms so that is why I ask.

Good eye! The Karmady is super thin and flimsy feeling. It's a bummer because it comes in very pretty colors but I hate all these see through shirts. Even the new Dhyana is a bit sheer in the lighter colors.

What top is the lady wearing in the pic showing the Carry Me Om tote - she is holding a coffee cup? The color looks brighter than Plum, looks kinda like Dewberry or Ultra Violet. Are either of these colors coming back? Or is the top an old one?

@anon 9:39 - Those are definitely threads. That tee looks paper thin.

But yes I think you are right that the vneck swiftly's sleeves are slightly longer than the crew neck. I'm expecting many of the vnecks to go to WMTM soon mostly because of the old colors. Seems like they have been moving a lot of LR, Spry, sizzle etc to WMTM. I would wait till next Thursday to see what happens if possible.

LLA what is that plum top in the pic with the tote? It's pretty.

OT - I was looking at the flow y bras on WMTM. The description under the few on WMTM says medium support. The ones under regular price say light support. I just bought a LR one in a store (my first) and it does seem to be higher support from when I tried one on sometime earlier this year. Have they changed? Or is it just a type-o? Would buy more because the one I have is really flattering and comfy.

OT: noticed the wunder under pant in the slate (herringbone) pattern are back in stock in all sizes but 12... Odly enough they are under the regular wunder under pant instead of the *textured wunder under pant. I did a live chat to see if this wasn't a typo but the GEC was a guy and he didn't know... I asked him why it wasn't under textured and if it was possibly a mislabel or diff picture up but never got a straight answer so I just ordered.
If any one wants them and missed out, you should find them under the wunder under pant (last color labeled heathered slate/black).

The Angel Wing Stripe Pace Setter Skirt is WAY too small. All my skirts are a size 4 and this one the threading won't even fit over my thighs. Is this just a defect of this one or the entire batch?
I put it over my other size 4s and it's more like a size 2.

Does anyone have feedback on the voyage pullover? It's on WMTM and reviews are great but I don't really want to spend $59 for a basic sweatshirt. I've been watching it and waiting for it to drop further - similar to what happened with the warm up crew earlier this year. I ended up getting a few of those and love them. The short length works great over a CRB and I think the voyage would be the same just a little heavier for fall/winter.

I tried on the Angel wing pacesetter skirt at a store yesterday - the under pants are angel wing in color which is very disappointing!!! I also find the seam on the bottom of the waistband does not give/stretch like my other pacesetters - therefore making it difficult to pull up! I had the same problem with the nimbus stripe pacesetters and another color that came out around the same time (but forgot which one). The GEC sent me labels to send them back and the emailed they sent me labeled the skirts "defective". I was surprised to see the nimbus stripe ones on WMTM a few days ago! Anyway, the angel wing I tried on had the same problem and the GEC took a few pairs of different colors to try and agree with the problem.

OT - I just got back from the store after making some returns and I tried on the Ebb to Street crops and while they are nice, the pair I tried had a big run right on the bum. I only saw it when I did the bend over test in the mirror and it was really hard to see when they were off and the material wasn't stretched. But after seeing the run and not being enamored with them when I had them on, I'm pretty sure they will be making their way back to the store PDQ once I receive them. Just thought I'd share my experience so you can look over your Ebb crops to make sure they don't have hidden runs.

Have a great evening!

Hi Anonymous October 5, 2013 at 1:28 PM, I bought the Voyage Pullover on WMTM in the off white color a week ago. I have been wearing it almost daily since it arrived. I love it. It is very flattering, not bulky, and fits TTS. I ordered the same size Voyage Pullover as are all my CRBs, swiftlies, Forme and Scubas. It's a good piece. It looks really nice on top of a CRB. Hope this helps!

Are people seeing the WAFS inspires in their store?

Thanks for the heads up! I picked up a pair.

Thanks to Ashlee and 3:03 pm for reporting about the Angel Wing Pace Setter. Looks like the last few patterned 2 way stretch skirts have been tight at the waistband. I returned the Nimbus Stripe because of this issue. The Sea Check too.

I can't believe Lulu had the nerve to put those Nimbus Stripe into wmtm after calling them defective. Was there the waistband issue with the Mod Dot Pace Setter too? There are some in wmtm on the Canada side and I don't know if I should buy - especially since they will be final sale. Would they let you return a final sale if it was recalled for being defective?

Camo DSP? Fingers crossed

Thank you anon 7:19 about the Voyage Pullover! This is anon 1:28 here.

I'm thinking about getting the white as well to wear with my pique skinny wills over a CRB. Since it is available in all colors and sizes right now I'm going to wait until this week's WMTM upload and see if they drop further in price.

Saw the full tilt ls at my local store in green bean/inkwell. Very cute!

@anon 7:38 - I have been stalking my "best" local store (the one that usually gets stuff first and has good stock) and they have not received either of the WAFS Inspires. I didn't buy the black ones online b/c the Inspires are really not my preferred run crops, but I love how the Plum WAFS pairs with Black Swan (which I find notoriously challenging to pair with anything since I favor blacks and blues so heavily). I'm East Coast (Boston), so maybe they're just taking a while to cross the country? :)

luluFemom, which is the "best" lulu store in Boston? I live in Western Mass and visit Boston area from time to time. I would love to have the information. Thanks!

@10:34 - Did you ever find out what top that is? I really like it as well.

OT- has anyone experienced any bleeding with rasp glow swiftlys? I love the color in the swiftly material, but absolutely refuse to buy things that bleed. It's just absurd that they keep selling them once it's discovered and just put a cute sticker on the tag that cheerily reminds you that you can't sweat in this and if it's wet it can't touch anything!! Anyone seen a rasp glo swiftly bleed?

Hey! Off topic here but can anyone comment on the pure mat from lulu? I managed to snag one in plum and just wondering if its worth the steep price tag! Or if there's a better choice for bikram! Thanks!!!!!! :)

On the Run for Fun crops, I'm debating between basic black and the paisley...is the paisley pattern over the top obnoxious or is it more subtle in person? Also is either one super sheer? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Re: the Star Runner pullover - I bought one last year on markdown ($49!) and the quality and fit are way better than this year's. I just returned the black one because the fabric is thinner than last year's and overall, the fit just isn't as good. It feels pretty flimsy for $108.

Need some help! My studio crops - which are less than a year old - are starting to have fishing line type thread (clear plastic) in a loop shape poke through the waist band making them very uncomfortable to wear! I'm tempted to cut these threads but am worried I'll make the waistband completely lose all its stretch. Help!? Should I cut them or leave them alone and deal with the discomfort?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 4:46- Take them in to your lulu store maybe they can help you (give you a new pair?) I just had a really good experience with my local lulu store- I took back a pair of studio pants have the same issue and they helped me out. Maybe yours will do the same...?

Anonymous said...

Katmac@5:14, I thought they were really subtle and pretty. The pair I tried on were not sheer either. They ran TTS, as well.

Anonymous said...

Subtle paisley but very thin and not compressive at all! Maybe on MD.

Thanks 8:24 about the studio crops. I know some of the eds pretty well so I'll ask about the crops next time I'm there and see if there is anything they can do. I have a few stores near me so I guess I can try them all!

Hi, @ anon 10:11 - IMO the best Boston store is Newbury Street - they get the best selection and stuff like the cycling line that not all stores get. They also seem to get a lot of coveted returns - when last year's herringbone WUCs were nowhere to be found, I found some there. But for the suburban stores I like Chestnut Hill the best. The educators there are fantastic -- as are the ones on Newbury Street - and I find those two stores to have the least pretension (for some reason the suburban stores are the worst when it comes to snooty sales girls!). And it's a bonus that the Shake Shack is right next door in case you need a fix. ;) I'm curious now to know what stores you like, tho...?

My rasp glo swiftly tank bled. It had been washed 4 times before that. I had on a pink bra so no damage to my clothes but ruined a white pillowcase I leaned up against. Be careful of that colour.

Regarding the Pure Mat:

I think the steep price is worth it for their mats. I don't own the pure mat (my buddy does, but he doesn't do bikram) BUT the Unmat is the same material, just much much thinner.

I own the towel mat and the unmat. Both are awesome, and both work soo well for bikram. I highly recommend the towel mat, but some people say they have issues with it being stretchy. It is very stretchy (duh, it's towel like material with rubber underneath) but I haven't found that an issue in BIKRAM, although in regular got classes where sun salutations are common it can be not so great.

My Unmat takes sweat like a champ, so I assume the Pure will as well. It's easy to clean, awesome grip, fun colors.

If you're practicing yoga a several times a week, a LLL mat is worth the money. My first mat was a gaiam and it lasted about a year before wearing down. I have owned my LLL mats now for over two years with practicing yoga every day (sometimes twice a day) and neither are showing any wear whatsoever.

Seattlite said...

Oh crap. I totally just rambled on about the unmat and Pure being the same but they arent. I was thinking of the regular "The Mat"
Damn.
I"M SORRY!!!

I have tinkered with the Pure mat before, but wasn't a huge fan. It's good if you have knees that need extra cushion, but I don't think it's one I would take to Bikram.

OMG I wish I could order a pair of herrinbgone WU from US site..not fair :(
I washed my old raspberry glo CRB yesterday with some other stuff and now there's a huge raspberry stain on my bfs grey t-shirt.. I've washed it many times since I got it, not sure why it chose to bleed now? Oh well..at least it didn't bleed on my Aquamarine CRB hehe.

5:46 I think the last time the studio crops were well made was 2 years ago when the wren color came out. A lot of people complain about those irritating threads in the waist band and also the rolling of the waist band, they also pill like crazy and start looking raggy after a few months. They are also very pricey.

Has anyone had issues with their plum/rasglow hyperstripe CRB's bleeding? I want to get one, but not if it bleeds!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 11:48 am - I haven't noticed anything with my CRB or WUs.

That angel wing pacesetter is tight like the plum check that they had to damage out when I returned coz I couldn't get it up my hips. I need to return mine and exchange for a size 6 I guess.

Thanks, LLA@12:09! :)

Studio crop girl here - I was lucky to score this pair (my only pair) on MD at a store for $49. I've probably washed them 5-10 times and they have held up well - no pilling - just the threads in the waistband. They are a great versatile grey - fossil light I believe.
