Wee Space Inspire crops

Ebb to Street Pant
Nothing too exciting tonight though I did order the Black Wee Space Inspires to try out. These are the kind with no mesh on them, which is what I prefer in the Inspires. I thought we'd see a ton more new stuff given it's the beginning of the month but I guess not.

Did you get anything?

Ugh wanted to buy the angel wing *paisley swiftly racerback at 9:48pm PST and size 6 was already sold out; how is that even possible?!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10 pm - I would keep checking the website periodically for the next few days to see if they add more.

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me tonight. I really like the look of the black wee are from space inspire crops, but I think they look too long on me (5'2"), so I never buy Inspires. I also really like the look of the paisley Run for Fun crops, but the reviews are looking bad! I don't feel like spending another $90 on thin crops (especially crops without a back pocket).

Maybe there will be a lot of new stuff coming next week? Are they almost done with plum? I like the color, but I think I have about 6 items in it already, and I think I need to start buying some other colors!

i want the black paisley swiftly SS and the plum wee space pace tights... and the inkwell NLT... but i'm going to wait and try them on in store. if i can't find them, it's not meant to be.

I was right there too, trying to snag an angel wing swiftly racerback in size 6, but didn't get one either. I did get a pair of wee space inspires and two of my fav tanks - a Rest Less in heathered black/hyper stripe black (love these tanks) and a No Limits in paisley inkwell.

I couldn't resist the black Wee Space Inspires!

Hi did the LS paisley swiftly get uploaded to the U.S. side? If not do you think they will be uploaded next week? I see other paisley swiftly are already sold out.

Nothing for me tonight, phew! It's always a bit of a shock when I get my credit card statement, and I'm like "Who stole my identity and racked up all these charges?" And then, I see "Lululemon" about 8 times. Sigh!

Anonymous said...

Nope, nothing for me. The wee space inspires look so nice though! When is that inkwell paisley NLT going to come out? I keep checking my local stores to no avail :(

Also, I'm really trying to get my hands on a second pair of those textured WUPs uploaded several weeks ago (SO COZY!!), has anyone's local store restocked those lately? My store only has size 2 left, and the educators always tell me their restocks just happen randomly and they never know what's arrived until they open the boxes :[ grrrr. And of course, calling in to check is impossible as no one picks up, ever.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the plum Journey crops. I haven't tried them before, but from the sounds of the reviews they might end up being more like pants on me (I'm only 4'11" and WUCs are long enough as it is!). Oh well, if they fit funny back to the store they'll go.

Anonymous said...

I had the angel wing pacesetter and the green bean scuba in my shopping cart for the last hour but decided not to buy them. I have plenty of pacesetters and it's getting cold so I won't be wearing them until next year...the scuba - had it been the inkwell stripes on the body instead of just in the hoodie, I'd have bought it. I have not seen green bean in person so maybe I will check it out first. Love the green bean pattern in the Play All Day Shorts - soooo cute...but again, it's getting cold so no shorts for me :(

Didn't get anything in the upload tonight.

Wanted to share my experience with ivivva. I have been kicking myself for missing out on the herringbone wunder unders a few weeks back, and I was actually considering paying almost double for them on e-bay. Thats when I looked on Ivivva and saw that they had pretty much the same pant (called the rhythmic tight herringbone) but made with Rulu. I am usually between a 4-6 in Lululemon (although pretty consistently a 6 in wunder unders). I ordered the herringbone rhythmic tight from ivivva in a size 14 and they fit perfectly! They actually have extra length and are not sheer at all. Best of all, they were only $64 for pretty much the exact same pant! Score! If you can fit in smaller sizes (and don't mind a slightly different logo) make sure to check ivivva if there is something you can't live without!

Was at my store today and they had the ebb pants. They are really cute on!

I love the look of the Black WAFS Inspires! I'm not adventurous enough to wear colorful WAFS bottoms, but this print looks more neutral, so I ordered them to try. Also got the Cornflower 105f singlet and the hyper stripe angel wing Energy Bra from a previous upload to go with it.

LLA: Any guesses on when we might see the re-emergence of the Cabin Tee LS?

LLA: Also, do you think the Ebb to Street Tanks are just gone? Wasn't that fast? I tried one on the other day and loved it but would really like it in plum. There are a couple on eBay but very pricey. If anyone has an Ebb to Street tank in Plum sz 6, they want to part with, let me know! lovin4u at gmail dot com

Were the Give Me Qi pants in Inkwell ever uploaded on the US site? Been waiting for them for a long time. Thought maybe today but still nothing :-/
Black, plum and inkwell were uploaded on the canadian site at the same time, so I'm not sure they would be uploaded on the US website. Does anyone know?

I like the ziggy wee september black/black WUC but the recent comments on the WUC are very poor. Has anyone tried any of the WUC with the ziggy wee september fabric?

Anonymous said...

I'm with you anon 10:29 - that's been happening to me a lot lately!

I'm a little bummed that they now have inkwell/green bean inspires with a solid inkwell leg. I bought the earlier version from a few weeks ago that have blue moon hyper stripe at the calf and like the solid navy better. Oh well. I wore them twice so far and they performed great - no threads hanging loose, no sheerness so they are definitely keepers. The inkwell is a very flattering color too for anyone considering them. I'm considering the wee space inspires as well...Don't really "need" another pair but don't have any wee space tights yet so can justify it that way!

Nothing else really jumped out at me.

OT - I'm looking at the Freestyle Polo on WMTM for my boyfriend - can anyone comment on it size wise? He's 5'7" and 140 lbs so not a huge guy but he is lean and muscular. He normally wears a medium polo shirt from Gap/Banana but I think he should get a small in this shirt based on the size chart. Any thoughts?

Back wee space inspire!!!! HORAY!!! I freakin LOVE my Inkwell ones and can never pass on wee space pattern crops, they melt my heart <3

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me...I hate waiting another week to see if anything good comes along! Was hoping to see a few more items in the darker green....

My credit card gets a week off.... (from Lulu anyway! lol.....)

Anonymous said...

I did not buy anything.

I will never buy a Scuba Stretch but the one up in green bean gives me a better idea of what that colour looks like. I would buy a CRB if they eventually offer one in gb.

wmtm...I used to so stalk it. Right now it's just outcasts and ugly product. They should really dial down the prices to move it.

Anonymous said...

just the Wee Space Inspires for me--I want the plum WeeSpace speed tights, but we leave on vacation tomorrow, so I'm being good! I also want to try them in-store since the black ones were slightly sheer on me.

RunLikeTheWind said...

Glad I got the Wee are from space Speed Tights, but if I didn't, I would have gotten the inspires, probably. Love that wee space pattern.
Happy to see the ziggy print continue in the CRBs. The fabric is soft and stretchy and seems like it would hold up well without pilling.
The Ebb pants are a weird length. Are they crops, are they pants, what are they? Too weird.
Saw the green bean/inkwell stripe on a tank in the store, and the inkwell stripes were far apart. It looked kind of weird.

Anonymous said...

I was wondering about the 'wee are from space prints'...is it usually just seen on running gear, or does lululemon incorporate it into other designs as we'll? I am not a runner, but I looooove this print! Do I buy these new inspires or do I keep my fingers crossed hoping that it will come out in an item that I can actually use?!

Lots of things re-stocked on the US site: Urbanite pant in Inkwell, Exhalation Pullover in both colors, Universal Wrap in black and more. I was so excited when I saw the UP in Inkwell. Had been hunting them everywhere without success.

@Lovin - they were parked under the "Layers We Love" section of the website but I did a search and it does look like they are gone. You can keep an eye on the website and wait for a return to pop up.

@ Anon about the men's polo...I can't speak to the Freestyle one specifically, but my hubby has tried on multiple Lulu polos. He's a bigger guy than yours, but he regularly wears lulu 1/4 zips and wicking ts. He's a consistent XL in the Lulu tops he owns, but every polo he's ever tried, he has to size up to a XXL and even that is tight. He swears they run extra tiny. (For reference, he's a L or XL at Gap...L in sweaters/sweatshirts and XL in ts/polos)

Has anyone had any experience with Inspire Crops during pregnancy? I am 16 weeks into my first pregnancy and still fitting into my usual size 6 in all my Lulu bottoms, but since the Inspires have a higher waist, I'm wondering if I should order any new pairs in a size up, or stick with my usual size, or I'd like to know if they really won't work too well after I get bigger and perhaps should refrain from further Inspire (or other high-waisted leggings/crops) purchases. Any insight would be great - thanks!

ps - Any other pregnancy-friendly Lulu recommendations would also be appreciated! :)

Anon@3:39 am, my hubby is 5' 8" and weighs about 160 (he's pretty muscly, runner/biker so big quads), and he wears a Medium in all things Lulu and non-Lulu. I think the size you get depends not just on your boyfriend's weight and height, but where the weight is carried. Some of their shirts are more fitted than others too.

Anonymous said...

I'd like to echo the previous poster who commented on Ivivva. I've bought a Swifly equivalent tank there and a Rulu scarf. Love them both! Haven't tried any bottoms yet, but may be tempted now.

Anonymous said...

Wee space inspires, plum journey crops (my first plum bottoms) and cornflower blue singlet.
I wanted the black paisley run for fun crops but the reviews were horrible!

Anonymous said...

Ahh! I was waffling on the wee inspires this morning, and then when I decided to pull the trigger, they were sold out in my size (even though they were there 20 minutes prior). Boo! :( So nothing for me this week unless they pop back up.

Anonymous said...

@Julie, what's the deal with the size chart at Ivvica? I'm a size 6 in Lulu but I don't think I could squeeze into a 14 at Ivvica. Is this a line for children?

Anonymous said...

nothing interesting. The colors are getting more and more tedious. I want something like olive green color pique WUP, lulu just never give you want you want. However I do find a few nice piece on athleta website, the Plié Tight looks awesome.

Anonymous said...

@Lovin you are right, I just added them to my cart 2 days ago and all sizes were available. Now after the new uploads, they disappeared from my cart, and reason given was sold out.... it's absurd. My guessing is either they are rearranging their website and they'll come back later, or they put these hard-to-sell items on european or asian market already. I hope it's not the latter.

Anonymous said...

I second the comment on the Ivivva herringbone pants! They are super comfy. I'm a true 4 & went with the 14, however, I have some Ivivva crops in a 12. My daughter happened to wake up at 4:30 after an accident, so I happened to hop on & snag the WAFS inspires & plum WAFS speed tights. I had previously ordered the plum ruffled wup - but found them too thin for my liking, as well as the ziggy still pants - but also returned those BC they were thin & sheer - yet too baggy in places. The herringbone Ivivva rhythmic tights have been my best purchase of late! Still not convinced that the quality is back...

About the Ebb to Street tanks, I ordered a plum and a blue over the weekend (from the love to layer page) and the tanks were almost all fully stocked in all sizes. I have a hard time believing they blew through all of what was left in just a couple of days. My guess is something was wrong with the page they made for that tank because it would NEVER show up on the tanks page, only on layers we love. I wonder if they've pulled the page to fix the code and will re-load it soon.

I agree about things lingering in WMTM lately. They need to drop the prices and clear some of that stuff out. Thought I am secretly hoping the AW backpack makes it to WMTM. I have the Midnight Iris but I secretly covet the AW for some reason even though I know it will get dirty.

I think it is really interesting how many of the scuba stretch are still available (many sizes, many colors). This didn't seem to be the case with the old scubas with the side stretch panels, they sold out fast if I recall. And also interesting, is the AW slalom stripe scuba went fast, but I think it was because it was cut better than the regular stretch, a bit longer and the material was nice and cozy. It was all but sold out in my store the other day and they had plenty of other scubas still in stock.

My resurrection wish list:

1) Stretch panel Scubas
2) Define Jackets
3) All sport shorts

Thank god nothing for me. A pretty boring upload. Although I'm not a big inspire crop fan since they are usually sheer whatever size I get and not really that compressive, so I glazed over the wee space print ones. Now that I realize what the print is, I might would have gotten them just to see if they would work. Oh well, my size is sold out now. Plus the reviews I've seen lately make it seem like they don't hold up very well after washing anymore?

I wore lulu both my pregnancies:) high waisted clothes get tough unless the waist can fold over. The skinny will pants and astro pants are very pregnancy friendly ( in tts). I also wore my crbs (and my beloved extra long crbs) with everything as shirts tend to get shorter as you get bigger. The wraps are all great as well. Good luck!

I just got my star pullover in the plum color and I am loving it. it is soft and cozy, can't wait to run and workout in this top, it will also be great for racing sailboats in the cool weather coming up

just got my Ebb to Street Tank in blue today! wow it is comfy - and I can't find them on the website either was thinking about getting the black. also the ziggy crbs are thick, soft, and comfortable. I stayed tts as in the regular crb and got both the ziggy wee august inkwell and october angel wing now might need september black...

MG: I was able to wear a lot of my lulu through the first trimester and most of the second .... some of them I ruined from stretching them out in the waist and butt. Beyond that point, I went full-on pregers pants... roll down waists were especially comfy AND flattering for the first couple months post-partum. I personally don't find lulu waistbands too forgiving of the pregers belly OR post-baby flab! :) I wouldn't buy too much of anything at any given time because your body is changing everyday! Hope that helps a bit!

LLA, I just received my store pn email (Milwaukee, WI). It has two jackets (Nice Asana and Forme??) whose colors are listed as Inkwell/Slalom Stripe. It's inkwell with a stripe in green bean. The striping appears to run the full jacket (not just sleeves or hood, like the Scuba). Fyi!

@ anon 11:30pm

I love all patterned WUC especially the ziggy pattern. I have the ziggy october (soot) and love, no sheerness. I tried on the ziggy Sept (black) and it is sheer. I did not buy these and I usually will find all kinds of excuses to get them. If you want to wear only as tights (which will be very cute with dress/skirt) then go for it. If you are planning on doing downard dog, I would not. Hope this helps.

Oh, and nothing for me this week. I do like the inspires wee space but inpsires are long on me and flare out at the ankles slightly. I must have tried it on (different color and patterns) 30 times thinking that somehow, it will fit this time but always a no-go.

Good that I'm not buying anything this week. I can't fit anymore work out gear in my drawer. It's now sitting on top of dressers, on the floor, on the night stand. I refuse to put in the the kitchen cabinets. Need to purge. Oh, I will be selling the Sea Check Speed shorts size 4 on ebay, along with a lot of other stuff. Won't list until next week because I have crazy deadlines this weekend. Back to work now after my little fix on Luluaddict:)

Anonymous said...

@MG: I wore Lulu all through my 3rd pregnancy, last year! My normal pants and crops were uncomfortable on my waist, so I only wore Astro pants and Astro wunder unders- they were great!! I think if you sized up they would just slip down, and probably still be uncomfortable on the belly in a couple months. I also lived in Cool Racerbacks and No Limits tanks (all in my normal size).

Lauren said...

MG, I am also 16 weeks pregnant! Congrats.

I have also been wearing my same lulu items but am starting to wear my Track Attack shorts more and I purchased the Tuck and Flow several weeks back. The Tuck and Flow is great right now over tights as well.

I am glad you asked this. :) I was thinking the same thing.

@ anon 8:35 am

As I understand it, Ivivva is the kind of the "little sister" line to Lululemon. Same fabrics and some of the same designs, mostly geared toward younger kids and young teens I think.

If you look at the size charts for ivivva and lululemon, you can compare the sizes.

For example... ivivva says that the size 14 pant is: 25.5"-26.5" waist, 34.5-35.5" hip, and 31-32" inseam.
The lululemon size chart for a size 6 is: 26.5" waist, 37" hip, 32" inseam for regular length. Very similar, really the only difference is in the hip size.

Like I said, I am pretty consistent in a size 6 in wunder unders and the size 14 rhythmic tight fits well. The herringbone print is in rulu, and that might make a little bit of a difference compared to luon (I find rulu a bit more stretchy).

Anonymous said...

Hi y'all! Would anyone be able to tell me the fabric percentages (polyester, nylon etc) for the ziggy wee angel wing and black CRBs? Are they soft? I purchased the slalon stripe angel wing CRB and although I love the colour, it has a high poly content and the cut at the armpit is a smidge higher. I love the ziggy wee CRBs and would like to buy one, but I can't get to a store to see them in person.

Anonymous said...

Ivivva 14 is the equivalent of a 4/6 in lulu... But I'm a 6 and the 14 is great! Pull the trigger!

Anonymous said...

@macfrannie thank you for the clarification on the Ebb to Street Tank. Last time I checked (which is the day before the new upload), they were fully stocked online as well. However I called about 10 stores around my area today, all size 6s were sold out. I hope these make it back to the website soon.

Anonymous said...

Congrats to all the pregnant ladies! My favorite lulu pants post pregnancy were the still pants - very comfy & forgiving. Re: Ivivva - a lla commenter posted that the 14 is comparable to a 5 and the 12 is a 3. I tend to just order both sizes & pay my own standard shipping to return. I figure the $2.50 return shipping is worth having a better fit.

LuluAddict said...

@Anon 3:46 pm - The Angel Wing Ziggy CRB is 85% nylon, 15% lycra spandex. None of the Ziggy Wee blends have polyester in them. I haven't tried the black ziggy CRB but have tried it in the Power Y and Scoop Neck tanks and it is very silky feeling. This year's Ziggy fabric is much nicer than last year's.

Nothing for me, thank god. My wallet needed a break.

I have become a huge Ivivva fan lately. I am a size 4 or 6 in everything lulu & size 14 fits me very well. I was hesitant to try any of the tops because according to the size chart I'm a little too big, but they actually fit perfectly. I am only a 32C though, if you have bigger boobs then I don't think they will work for you. The tanks at Ivivva fit me better, not as long and I like that the necklines are cut higher. And of course, the prices are better than lulu. I do have a pair of rhythmic crops (luon, very similar to WUC) that are basically garbage after just a couple months. The seams are all coming apart & they have pilled really badly. Unfortunately I think this is a quality issue that could have easily happened w/ lulu crops, so I haven't given up on Ivivva. Hope that helps :)

Anonymous said...

@5:18 ahhh that makes sense. I am a 5 in juniors clothes, & the 14s fit me well. I often have a hard time w/ lulu products b/c the 6 is a tiny bit big & the 4 is a tiny bit small.

katmac said...

Have any ladies who are a true size 2 tried the 105 Singlet? I want the Cornflower, but reviews are freaking me out saying people are sizing way way down.

I'm 26 weeks and have been loving my Will textured pants for casual wear, I can flip the waistband down if it gets too tight, but normally I just pull it up over the bump and my husband calls me the Penguin from Batman. For yoga I have been wearing Astro pants, as the waistband works so well and still keeps me supported. I haven't purchased anything lulu specifically for pregnancy, but did size up in the textured Wills so that I could still be stylish and comfy with room to spare for the next 15 months as my body changes. I have been using Still pants for leisure as they are low enough to accommodate baby bump but I don't feel schlumpy. For tops, my roomier CRBs are great, don't want to stretch out my 6's but the 8's have been comfy and not restrictive, perfect pyjama tops for me. No Limits worked well for me for yoga until my boobs outgrew them, not sure if I will ever fit into them again as I was a 34D pre pregnancy. Now it's an Old Navy sports bra and a CRB for most activity. I have refrained from buying anything that WOULD have fit my old size 6 body as I don't want to be stuck will ill fitting items post baby, nor do I want a wardrobe of expensive clothes taunting me about the bod I used to have. I see a lot of ladies selling their prepregnancy lulu because their bodies have changed permanently, so I'd err on the side of caution, and only purchase things that you know will work with your growing bump, that is if you are on a limited budget like most. Good luck, enjoy the next few months!

MacF 9:42 AM, you are right, the old Scubas used to sell out quickly. Also, smaller sizes 2 to 6 used to migrate to wmtm regularly. I know because I scored 3 that way and I remember having a lot of choice if I just waited. I kick myself for not buying a Black Swan one from winter/Jan 2012 when it went to wmtm. I also snagged a SE Scuba and a Cuddle Up Jacket from 2011-2012 winter. To date that Scuba and CU are my favourites.

The Ebb to Street tank has been uploaded on the New Zealand site - I'm more than happy to angel for anyone if you'd like. I've done so for a few girls via facebook pages - I don't like to charge anyone anything for it either, simply the the cost of the item(s) and I estimate postage price as best I can and happily refund if postage ends up being less than expected. Feel free to contact me at run.live.explore at gmail.com. Currently all colours size 4-10 available on the website.

Katmac, I normally wear a 4 in Lulu tops (except anything with a built in bra, I'm a 6), and anything that's less fitted, I'm a 2. I bought the plum 105, and it is really long, loose and baggy on me. Armholes are really big, and my bra is exposed (which was why I had to buy the plum Wee Space and plum Energy bras to wear underneath. I kept it because I liked the color, but I'm finding I never wear it because it is so long on me. I'm 5' tall, 105 lbs, and 32 D for reference. Hope this helps!

The ziggys all feel so comfortable, No compression on skinny wills, slightly firmer on WU's. the issue I have with the lighter colors however, are the horizontal lines in the print that give the illusion of dimples on the butt and backs of thighs. I typically buy all skinny wills and it pained me to return the ziggy aw and sept. Still pondering the ziggy black.

anon 11:38 - i have the black ziggy septembers WUC. they're nothing like my 5 yr old WU :( - theyr'e thinnish and flimsy, but i kept them because the tags are off now. re the sheer test, it's VERY minimally see thru. they're also a little more stretchy than the old BETTER wu's. i just wish lulu would go back to the product they had 6 years ago- how hard is that to do?
