Upload!

Angel Wing Slalom Stripe Star Runner Pullover uploaded to the Canadian side.

The upload came back to it's original time slot. This upload was filled with tempting goodies for me. I ended up ordered the Ziggy Wee Angel Wing/Soot and August Glo Cool Racerbacks but I was also tempted by the Black Hyperstripe one.  I also want the Black Wee Space Groovy Run shorts but I will visit those in the store and see how I like them in person.  Star Runner Pullovers are back this year. I am not a major fan of pullovers with pockets on the tummy so I am hoping, since this winter is supposed to be about old favorites making a comeback, that means the Full Tilt Pullover might make a reappearance.

What did you order?

Looks like bordeaux drama may be coming back - to the men's side at least. Hope it's available to women's too!

Nothing for me. That She's Swift jacket in Angel Wing Wee space looks like some pigeons just took a crap on it LMAO! Pigeon jacket is what it reminds me of

Energy Tank in Plum, WUC ziggy wee sept plum and Black hyperstripe CRB for me! I really like the idea of the Star Runner pullover but am put off by the $108 price and the seams across the bust. Were they $108 last time they were released?

Anonymous said...

Wanted the slalom stripe angel wing CRB but it looks quite see-thru so I got the black hyperstripe instead. Still thinking if I should get the Cornflower Scuba - or wait for more new colors later...already got 4 recent colors waiting to be worn...

Nothing at this time as I am going to the store tomorrow to try on. Last time I did order the Vanessa Terry scarf and am trying to decide if I should keep it. Any thoughts? -jms

Slalom Nice Asansa--very excited about this jacket for the length!

Also snagged ziggy wee space CRB and cornflower power Y. I am a sucker for the cornflower. Wore my cornflower ebb to street tank for the first time today and loved it.

I got the ziggy september plum undercrops! so happy as I missed the ziggy august ones.

Expensive day for me ... Three new CRB's and my first pair of WU crops. We'll see what I keep and what goes back ...

Star runner pullovers were 108.00 last year as well ... I really like mine for my early morning runs. Haven't worn it in while but with the cold mornings coming back now I will be breaking it out again soon.

Cornflower star runner and ziggy angel wing crb. Interested in the new colors of groovy shorts too but have been spending waayyy too much lately!

Everything...and I mean everything, is ugly right now! :( Its all a huge pass for me. Ive been spending all my disposable income on vintage pieces from Ebay. :)

Did a crazy thing called "sleeping" and missed out on the angel wing slalom hyperstripe CRB. It was only 4 a.m. EDT when I checked! Guess I'll be heading to my local store. Nothing for me.

Nothing. Haven't bought any lulu for over a month. A record for me.

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. My bank account could use a lulu vacation though and I need to buy some new fall work clothes. That black hyper stripe CRB is tempting though. If I see it in store I may cave and get it.

Star runner was $108 last year... BUT even more disappointing is how the pullover is missing the cute pleats on the shoulders as well as the reflectivity in the rear shoulder ruffles. Really this should be listed as Star Runner Pullover II because it is NOT the same pullover.

I was really really hoping for the SRP but will be passing this year as it is not to the same detail as last year. And after the early September upload that included the SRP, the whole Lulu line fell apart and became yucky. So hopefully this year they bring back some awesomeness to make up for a sucky holiday season last year.

What's the "original time slot"?

The only thing I wanted this upload with the 105f singlet in cornflower! Of course it wasn't uploaded.

$108 for the star runner pullover? I think they have lost their minds. That Athleta Alacrity pull over is looking better at a $78 price point. I am tempted by the cornflower blue but not at that price and I was hoping for cuffins. No reflection? I know not everyone runs in the dark or low light but you'd think it would be standard on cold weather gear. There just isn't that much day light in the winter. Same with the can't stop crop..."subtle reflectivity at the cuff" did I miss it? There is no close up. otherwise, I love the hem on those.

I ordered the Run for Fun crops in Plum. I've been waiting for a knee length crop to come out with a higher waistband than the Run for your Life crops. Hoopefully these will do the trick!

Anonymous said...

I ordered nothing and do not stay up for uploads. Maybe I'll stop by the store this week(end), maybe I won't. I'm glad to see they're making less juvenile stuff, though those green paisley speeds and that "She's Swift" jacket are no consolation; awful imo.

Glad to hear the Star Runner series is back. Not interested in the pullover but I love my Star Runner s/s from last year and would get a l/s one this year if I dig the colour offerings. I see there's some nice plum Boogie shorts. I might have to get those for Bikram.

I was hoping for those paisley Run for Fun crops, but didn't see them in the upload. so, nothing for me.

I settled on the angel wing stripe and the black hyperstripe CRB. I decided that I can resist the two new speed shorts, I'll wait till there is something I love. I'm sorta glad, my CC needs a break.

in boca raton, fl store i saw a no limits in black/pow stripe as the bra and split pea as the shell

tried on the groovy run short in plum/pow stripe angel wing/hyper stripe plum and the crotch was super tight (6) sized up (8) waist band was very loose but short fit nice. i had to pass unfortunately.

Ebb to street was back on in the middle of the night but is now gone again...any ideas?

Nothing for me, but I am thinking about the Angel Wing slalom CRB or the Angel Wing 105 f singlet. I like the looks of the Star Runner pullover, they removed the epaulet type ribbing on the shoulders which was a turn off for me last year. But the solid Cornflower color is a little much for me. It needs heathering or subtle color blocking like last year... Hopefully it comes out in more colors or like you said, LLA, they release a Full Tilt pullover.

Jamie Barba said...

Nothing yet. I'm very interested in both the Can't Stop crop & the Run For Fun crop, but I'll wait for some reviews. Plus, I'd like to get the ones with the paisley a down the side & I didn't think those got uploaded.

Nothing for me! My pocketbook is safe!!!

Anonymous said...

Title Nine has nice 1/4 zip running pullovers from $60-$70. Less fussy than the star runner pullover.

yogibabe said...

Just the Slalom Stripe CRB. :)

Anonymous said...

the green paisley speed shorts are 2 way swift for those of you trying to guess. I can do a gym workout or kettlbell workout in the 2 way swift, but for running the softness of the 4 way works better.
I will still get a pair of the green shorts I like them, but I am a little bit of a freak.

Just the black hyper stripe CRB for me! I debated on getting the angel wing slalom hyper stripe though, but I'm nervous it will be see-through. I will have to try in on in the store.

To find the Ebb to Street tank on the US side you need to go under Women, Features, Layers we Love

I thank another poster for telling me when I could not find it

Only bra comes up when do search...so strange

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. I use to buy quite a bit, wear it a few times and resale it...but resale has been kinda sucky....when I first started w Lulu there was about 5000 listings on ebay and now well over 20,000....so now I am being more selective on what I buy and make sure I want to keep it for awhile..nothing too trendy

Anonymous said...

sorry this isn't about the upload but just fyi to everyone re: the color plum:

I wore my plum crb for the first time today with a hyper stripe angel wing ftb bra underneath, thinking it made a really cute color combination. too bad the plum crb bled all over the back of the bra.

I've had a lot of experience with the pinks and bright colors bleeding and it almost always comes out, so I'm confident this will too, but man it's frustrating considering the massive volume of plum items I bought. not looking forward to always making sure I wear dark colors over my gym clothes, carry a dark bag, and so forth when wearing something plum.

I feel like I will never see the paisley inkwell scuba :(

Anonymous said...

anybody know if the wee space black groovy run shorts are 2-way or 4-way? i returned the sea check ones because they were 2-way. the plum (earlier version) were 4-way but still felt a little tight vs. my black ones.

tempted by the plum textured ziggy crops or pants, but i already got the august glo crops!

just got my size 6 inkwell/plum full tilt in the mail - had bought the 8 but thought i should try the 6. there is barely a difference between them, even in length. the 6 is definitely fitted but not at all too tight. the 8 will be better as a top layer, which is likely how i'd wear it. 6 going back, i think.

Fit report for new Run Can't Stop Crop: I've been waiting for a high rise, side pocket run crop since the ones two winters ago (forget the name -- had reflective stripes down sides). These were TTS (I am 4 in all lulu bottoms), good compression, wide, flat, comfortable waist, very comfortable all around. All of lulu's luxtreme crops now are made with thinner material than they were in the past (e.g. Inspire crops II) and this is no exception. Tag can be seen easily. Despite the tag visibility, still bought it because I loved the high waist and the handy side pockets. I'm about convinced that lulu will not return to its better thicker luxtreme of the past. Tried on Run for Fun and did not buy -- really did not like the ruching on the back of the waist (why have a "bunching" look at the waist?) and the length fit me at the widest part of my calf. I would have wanted it either shorter under the knee, or longer at the bottom of the calf. The black paisley (in store but not online) was subtle and very cute.

Argg! No, Lulu, you were supposed to make Soot Light in the Track Attacks, not the Groovy Runs!
If that Angel Wing is polyestery, pass for me. Maybe that slippery grey Ziggy CRB will come home, that fabric in the WUC was really soft. Sheer for pants, but a CRB should be okay...although maybe there will be an issue with bra show-through where the fabric stretches?

Anonymous said...

went to the store to try one a few things. No star runner pullover but I did try on the full tilt in cornflower and did not like the fabric at all. Mostly nylon, doesn't feel like rule. Tried on the can't stop crop and I liked them and loved the hem/cuff but they were very sheer and not compressive at all. I came home to look at the star runner pullover and did an online chat with an ED to ask about the fabric content on STP..here it is in case you are not a fan of the nylon. Bummer I love the cornflower blue...So the Cornflower is 91% Nylon, 9% Lycra and the Slalom Stripe one is 83% polyester, 10% Lycra, and 7% nylon. Also stopped at Athleta to try on their pullover..nice and soft but no structure at all. Loose in the chest and tight in the hips.

@10:01AM, thanks so much for the info about the Plum running! I really really appreciate that knowledge. I'll be certain to be careful with my plum stuff till I'm sure it won't bleed. I haven't worn my still pants yet because it hasn't been cold enough. I did wear my plum CRB but I happened to wear it with a black bra.

Thanks again for taking the time to let us know!

Would appreciate any feedback on the fabric / fit of the 'ziggy wee' crb. I hover between size 4 or 6 depending on the softness/stretchiness.
thanks

Thanks for the heads up on the Ebb to street tank, I have the plum one and was desperate for a cornflower blue one and couldn't find them anywhere-was tempted to pay $89 on eBay thinking they were sold out. That tank is so comfy I can't stand it.

Anonymous said...

OT- need some advice. 105 singlet vs. Ebb to Street tank, which do you guys think is a better purchase for a runner/yogi? I would like to get a plum tank but will need it to be a workhorse like all the other lulu in my closet. I don't have the budget left for both this month. Plus it's slowly getting cooler here and I need to invest in some cold weather run gear. My tanks will become base layers for the next 7 months or so. TIA.

Oh Boo!!! We (US) didn't get the paisely *Print Swiftly. Canadian have them both in short and long sleeves! I always like the print ones. :(

macfrannie said...

@12:57PM FWIW, I have the inkwell wee stripe CRB and I feel like it is a teensy bit more compressive than a regular CRB and definitely not as stretchy as the heathered Angel blue from last year (if you have that one). I vary between an 8 and a 10 and I got this one in a 10 and I feel, on me, the 8 would have been too tight (but I have quite a bit of junk in the front, if you know what I mean...).

@12:43PM Thanks so much for the info on the cornflower full tilt material. I'm expecting mine to arrive Thursday and I'll definitely give it a close look to see if it is up to snuff. I really like the Slalom stripe one, its disappointing to learn that rulu isn't standardized.

Ugh I tried on the paisley print run for fun crops... The material is really thin and the back it totally see thru... Not just a little but a lot!!! I could see the tag and the designs on my undies with barely bending over. Otherwise they fit tts. I did size up, it helped a little with sheerness but the waist was big and loose and I would have to cinch the hell out of them to prevent them from slipping down. Come on lulu! The can't stop crops were thicker, tts and maybe a touch see thru but nothing like the run for fun, not even close to being that sheer. What a waste of a fun print on crappy pantyhose crops :(

@12:57. I tried the ziggy wee crb today. I found it to be heavier than other Crbs and tighter fitting as well. I didn't like the underside of it - woven like with threads that I feel might pull. The girl helping me thought it would be warmer and not as comfortable.

sophia said...

@anon 2:18 - go with the ebb & flow tank. i love the 105F tanks, but i don't think it's as multi-functional as what you want. the ebb & flow will layer well in the winter (because it's fitted) and won't flip up during inversions (because it's fitted). i run and crossfit, and so pick the 105F tanks, because i'm NOT going to try layering it as it get cold (it's a looser tank and so would be bulky), and i don't care if it flips up.

Is there a way to order from Canada and get it shipped to the US? I've been wanting the give me qi pants in inkwell for a month and just found out today they aren't being released in US stores - and only black and plum got uploaded to the website. Any ideas? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Thank you 9:34 am for the trick to finding the Ebb to Street Tank! Seriously I have been looking for it and was so disappointed because I thought they were all gone. Just ordered the plum!

Anonymous said...

There is a blue called "pigment blue" in the Australia site for yoga mats - it's really really pretty. Is that a new or old color?

Anonymous said...

@ 10:01, I have the plum CRB and the Run Full Tilt l/s in plum/hyper stripe plum and I have not had any bleeding. Washed before worn and both worn running, and washed again obviously. Plus I've worn a heathered grey CRB under the Full Tilt l/s so I definitely would have noticed bleeding.

Too bad about the cornflower Full Tilt and the material; mine is a dream and I love rulu. The angel wing one was also nice but I figured I'd get more mileage out of plum.

yogibabe said...

So...I'm not done shopping yet. :) Ordered the ziggy september plum WUC (saw it this morning and drats! already have the ziggy august rasp glo...,but the hubby twisted my arm. he likes the plum color...) and ordered the Ebb To The Street tank in Plum too, before it sells out and I'll have to hunt it down on Ebay.

Anonymous said...

@sophia - thanks for the advice! I'm going to pick one up asap.

@513
Pigment blue came out last year if I remember correctly!

Yes! I do it all the time. Just enter different billing and shipping addresses.

@2:32 pm about shipping to us site from Canada site. Do either of the addresses (billing or shipping) need to be a Canadian address? I'm sorry if I'm being thick.

Thanks for the fantastic info!
