Just got my black hypertripe and angel wing slalom crb. Returning both as they run on the small side. The material is not as stretchy as other crbs
Oh, the Star Runner Pullover still has the kangaroo pocket which I do not care for at all (and is the reason I didn't buy last year's version). I do love a half zip though. Guess I'll have to wait until they come up with something else. I love my Star Runner s/s though, and would buy another one. In the meantime, I have a lot of LLL to go to for Fall and most recently LOVE the Run Full Tilt l/s in plum/hyperstripe. I love Rulu and this shirt does not ride up at all, not even when worn with luxtreme crops. My s/s doesn't ride up either.
It looks like the bust seam is too high on the star runner. It looks like it would cut right through your boob. Especially if your chest is larger.
It's white. It's lightweight material. How can it not be a bit sheer? Not sure I've ever owned a white running top that wasn't a bit sheer. I don't see this as an issue. Love this top!
@ anon 6:39 am - I agree about the kangaroo pocket. I want a zipped pullover with no front pocket. The new Full Tilt LS has some really nice thick rulu this year, too. I am hoping the Full Tilt PO might make a comeback ,too.
I got my star runner today and the kangaroo pocket is so thin, as in not bulky, I don't know that you would even notice it. It does not add any bulk or width to your mid section and lays flat. The pocket is lined with circle mesh and has another hidden pocket for an mp3 player or a key. The same little rectangular pocket that was on the rulu pull overs last winter Got the plum hyper stripe and it is very soft.
I am holding out for a Full Tilt pullover. I really liked the LS but sadly no more in my size. :/
I like the look of the star runner pullover but just can't justify that price. Would definitely consider in WMTM. I agree though that the bust seaming is too high. I also would not be comfortable wearing a sheer shirt - makes it look cheap. And I would never buy ivory because it is impossible to keep it from getting dingy over time. Would definitely consider the inkwell. Love the idea of paisley woven into the swiftlys.
OT - My love red crb has definitely continued to bleed. Has anyone else had this problem with LR? I first noticed it bled in the wash onto some other items. Then more recently I had it hanging to dry next to a regular nude colored bra - and the bra had red on it. I've now begun to separate out my lulu laundry into reds/oranges/blacks and blues/navies/greys. Really sucks that I can't do it all together.
I haven't had any issue with mine, but will definitely be a little more cautious with it just in case. I've only worn mine a couple times so I just haven't had it very long. When my rasp go crb bled I had already had it a few weeks with no problems. So you never really know when it can happen.
I have the love red crb and haven't noticed bleeding. I usually wash all my lulu separately in small loads and only with like colors. The 15 minute cycle on my washer is my favorite, albeit time consuming to do laundry.
@muranogrlYou're right - the bust seem is too high. I have a small chest and it cuts across the bottom of my breasts, but still looks flattering. I think anyone full B or higher will not be loving this top.
@ 6:02am - I just picked up the Love Red free to be tank, and washed it yesterday. It didn't bleed on anything. Maybe items in luon bleed more than luxtreme.
OT - did you ladies know that Heylululemon is having a One More Time contest? The top 5 most voted for lulu items will get to make a come back. There might be a chance of seeing Defines, Cuddle Ups, GW....I didn't know that. Hurry up though, contest ends mid October.LK
I wanted to update on the full tilt pull over. I bought it in the angel wing and love it! I was thinking about getting the star runner but was worried about the bust seam. Well I wore the full tilt for an outside run yesterday and loved it so much that ordered it in plum and black. It's perfect in every way. Didn't ride up. Breathes well and it's so soft. And cute:). I so love it!
I haven't had an issue with love red, but my Rasp Glo energy bra bleeds sometimes after a workout and I've had it for 6 months!
In my city, Star Runner shirts all sold out (pullover, s/s, l/s) and never made it to markdown. If memory serves, they also all sold out on-line and never made it wmtm. This year could be different of course. Although the same cannot be said for Run Full Tilt l/s, which have sold quickly on-line and in store (love mine).
6:02 am here - thanks for the input on the LR ladies. I just washed my LR flow y bra that I bought just a couple weeks ago on MD with a load (took a chance) of mostly black crops and a pop orange CRB and it did not bleed so it's definitely a fluke I think that my LR CRB bleeds. @ 7:59 am - I wish my washer had a short cycle like that! I just bought a new one earlier this year and the shortest cycle is 42 min! Takes forever esp since my old one had a 25 min cycle. Oh well - first world problems. :)My full tilt ls in plum will be here on Thursday - can't wait to wear it!
I think the star runner is a really nice top, I will get a lot of use from it I ordered the plum one and can't wait until it gets nice and chilly out to make use of it.I really like the swiftly long sleeve in the paisley pattern, and I agree that tops for working out in the light colors regarding of the brand tend to be sheer, it is not a problem for me, I even like to wear bright or contrasting color bras underneath. I plan on getting the angel wing and the blue is just beautiful. will look so nice with my fast cat skirts.M
Did the angel wing swiftlys get upload the the US site last Monday? Did I miss them? I've been waiting for the angel wing tank but didn't see it except on the Canadian site and it hasn't come to my local store yet. Thanks!
did the paisley come in cornflower and inkwell? i only saw the black/grey and angel wing online and in store. they had regular cornflower.
