The ruffles on the Ruffled Up CRB don't look nearly as cute as I thought they would compared to the picture on Lulu's website. Hmmm . . . . not sure if I want to order it now.

I like the Fast Cat skirt, but not in the new colors. The white panels look like a diaper. The CRB is cute, but waay too long for a shorty like me! I do want to check out the Speed tights and shorts in Plum. Love that color for the fall!

I have the ruffle CRB from the last time, and although I haven't personally seen this new version, from the pictures it seems as if the ruffle trim is much bigger this time around. Not very cute IMO, as it seems to stick too far out.

On a different topic, has anyone seen the Give Me Qi pants in stores in the US at all? Is it possible that LLL would launch these pants for the Canadian market only? That's the only site that has them. I've started to slowly lose hope...

Lastly, how does the new cornblue in the swiftly fabric compares to previous blues, such Beaming Blue, Beach Blanket Blue, Porcelaine? Any picture comparison would be great.

I like the plum color and think the ruffles are good, not over the top. I would love to see the bliss break sweatpants. They look amazing on the site and have high ratings!

I got a PN from the Philadelphia Walnut Street store that has a long "Yoga Over Skirt" in it. Looks fun! Haven't seen one of those before. It's made out of luon.

I did not order anything but items I like:

The full tilt long sleeve in hyper stripe, the RFYL crops in hyper stripe and the Can't Stop Jacket.

The CRB ruffled up would be cuter if the hem was straight and not curved. I'm not crazy about those curved hems on tanks at least. I have two of the first base tanks and they are ok with crops/tights but I won't wear them with shorts because they look silly in the back to me.

I bought the skinny wills in pique last week. Ready for the weather to cool down now so I can start wearing fall colors.

not a fan of those ruffled CRBs. The ruffled WU intrigue me, but I'd like to try them on in store.

Whoever is responsible for the fabric choices on the fast cat skirt needs to knock it off. It's such a cute looking skirt that they keep messing up with weird colours and piecing! This new one is just strange looking, like they just grabbed random fabric they had lying around. The plaid one they didn't bother to line up the stripes so it looked like a high school home ec project.

The design of the skirt is fantastic, the colours and fabrics are just awful.

How does the Ruffle CRB compares to regular CRB, fit-wise? The pictures show both black and angel wing to be loose fitting around the lower/belly area and "normal" fitting on the upper body/chest. Will it flip during inversion? I can't size down, as I'm a 2 in regular CRB. Thanks for your help! :)

FYI for those with ivivva's nearby - they have the village scarf (mini vinyasa) in RULU in a HERRINGBONE slate grey color!! Went on sale last night but already sold out this am! Watch for it in stores :)

Is that a solid LS Swiftly and not the new heathered one?

The Way We Were said...

Now I covet that puffer after seeing them on people...or lord at my mercy...what should i do...

Ooh, thanks, anon at 6;37! There's an Ivivva at my mall!

Just have to say, the GE in the Race Me SS tee and Shake and Break shorts in Split Pea is so gorgeous. She should model for the lulu website.

SO impressed by the speed tights. The cozy really is warm, great for winter runs up here in Canada. I bought the regular too - opaque, flattering, good compression. I wore them for a 10-mile and they held up great; I didn't have to adjust the waistband even once. I wished I could run more, but 10 is about my limit. Love them!

I just tried on the speed tights *lux at my local store. I really liked them- the luxtreme is heavier and more compressive than some of the things we've seen lately. And the rise is perfect for me- higher than inspires, but not too high. One thing to note is that the back of the legs in the black and plum are mesh from the seam just above the knee to the ankle. They don't mention this in the description. My store didn't get the wee stripe split pea color- and now I'm really wishing I had ordered them! I will be stalking my store to see if they get them in and stalking the website for returns!

Saw the new ruffle CRB in store yesterday and yuck!! I was so excited for another ruffled CRB but this one is terrible. Especially if you have a booty cause the ruffle goes right across the butt. Ha! Talk about drawing some unnecessary attention to that area with a large ruffle on a curved hem. No thanks! Even the ED agreed with me that those of us with 'junk in the trunk' should pass on this CRB. Boo!!

OT but if anyone is still looking for DSJ in soot light, black or plum, the Cumberland store in Toronto had tons. Looks like all sizes. They never got them in Inkwell.

I really like the plum color. I do not like the jackets. I prefer patagonia anyway. I am also not a fan of the ruffled CRB>

Lulu addict, are the groovy run shorts in plum 4 way stretch?

I just received my order today from last week's upload (GRR! Lulu - can't you get orders to the East Coast quicker than a week??). Loved everything in it! I ordered the Blue Moon Swiftly 1/2 zip, the Plum Swiftly LS, and the Plum CRB. The swiftlies were amazing - some of the best quality I have seen from Lulu and swiftlies. I also loved the plum CRB - it is thin, but good coverage, gorgeous color, and I think it feels nice on.

My order with my ruffled CRB (and herringbone WUs!!) comes tomorrow. Already planning on taking the crb back after these pics. Ugh I was so excited for it, I ordered my tts and a size down incase it sold out :(

For my fellow petite ladies, I had to return some swimwear from athleta so I ended up trying on a pair of their chaturanga tights and I totally fell in LOVE with them! I'm 5' and weigh 112ish and I'm always a 4 in LLL bottoms. I ended up getting the XSPetite and the fit is amazing. Just a tiny bit of extra fabric at the bottom, not like the extra 5 inches I'm used to! But the nice part is that it's fitted all they to my ankles as opposed to being slightly baggy (short girls, you know what I'm talking about!). The rise is also really nice at just below my navel. WUs can be pretty high waisted on me, which I don't dislike but it's nice to have a pair that fits my body like its supposed to. Anyways, just thought I would share!

@ anon 12:19 - People are saying they are 4-way

Looking for some thoughts on Skinny Will pants. I just want to mix it up a little from my usual WUs, but want to stick with a tight/straight leg style. I love the herringbone print, but am just a bit apprehensive about the high waist. Reviews seem to generally be positive. Any feedback? Is the high waist crazy, or not so bad?

I have a pair is the piqué will pants in an 8 that I regret buying after getting the herringbone will pants. They haven't been worn but I took the tag off. Anyone want them??

I feel you anon 12:40! I just got my order from last week today too. I'm in SW VA.The hype is definitely to be believed. The pique Skinny Wills are awesome and so flattering! I also liked my plum crb but I do wish it would've been a bit thicker. The color is gorgeous. I have a Cross My Heart bra in Plum from the last release so I think the two together will be fine. Now if I could just get this week's order. I cannot wait!

@3:35 PM - I really like the wills. I only wore WUs before and was reluctant about the high waist but after buying them I'm quite pleased. The waist isn't obscenely high on me (I'm 5'5") and it's tight right down to about an inch above my ankles. There are days I'm glad for the high waist!

I got pique skinny wills, speed tights*luxtreme in black, and speed tights*cozy in plum today. The pique wills are AMAZING... so soft and thick. I can't wait for the snow so I can wear them. The luxtreme in the speed tights feels thicker than it has been lately and offers good compression. I had stopped buying lulu for a while but they're starting to win me back! :)

What in the heck is going on here? All I have wanted since plum came out was a pair of plum WUC pants or crops. I have tried the Give Me Qi, the INF crops, the high waisted WUP and nothing worked. When the ruffled WUP came out I was thrilled. Mine just arrived today and they are too short! I'm 5 ft 7.5 in and I weigh around 143 lbs. I'm usually either a 6 or an 8 in Lululemon. I ordered the 8s and they are all wrong. The strange thing is, my torso is usually harder to fit length wise than me legs. The regular Groove Pant fits me perfectly. I can deal with pants or crops, but while this weird in-between length may be in style, it just makes me look stout. Back I go to try on the Speed Tights.

I have been buying lulu for about 8 months now and during that time I haven't seen any products with ruffles or anything else particularly girls or unique. However, all I've heard on this blog all this time is lots of people complaining about how they wish the "old lulu" would come back with better materials, RUFFLES, and other unique qualities. Obviously lulu listened and added ruffles and zippers and other cute details. Now there are tons of complaining because they've added ruffles and zippers to otherwise run of the mill pieces. I personally think its nice, but just wondering what kind of ruffles everyone was expecting with all the hating going on?

9:13 if you take a look in this blog and read comments all the way back, there are always people who complain about the ruffles the lack of them , the fabric texture the colors, it goes on and on. I find it amusing.

Can anyone tell me if the Fluffin Awesome Jackets are true fitting?? I am a standard Canadian 6 in LLL, however I recently purchased the Fluff Off Crew in a size 6 online, and if my over enthusiastic goddaughter hadn't pulled off the swing tag when it arrived I would have exchanged for a size up. There is very little room to move... or pretty much breathe across the chest and shoulders. I'm hesitant to buy the jacket on Final Sale if it's going to be small as well.
