New Energy Tank Colors and More

The newest colors in the Energy Tank.

The solid Plum Nice Asana is in the US. Also shown in the Blue Moon Nice Asana Jacket.

One for Om Leotard. Not sure why this is back.

Cornflower Blue 105F Singlet.

The Plum and Cornflower Ebb to Street Tanks.

Plum Hyperstripe Bend and Flow Tank.

First Base Tank and Plum Groovy Run Shorts.

Vinyasa Scarf Colors.

Trouser Pant. This girl wears them well but I don't care for them at all.

oy, the cups in the third energy tank pic, the black one, are just not working for the poor lady. do people not see this in the mirror? I see people in classes all the time wearing tanks that completely show their cups.

OT: My local store (Village Pointe, Omaha, NE) had the angel wing vinyasas, as well as plum and black. So glad I managed to snag an angel wing one! Love the color! I was completely skeptical at first. Off white reminds me of peeing in the snow. But, this is such a pretty color! I had gotten the CRB ruffle and love it. I can't see myself wearing it to the gym though. It is something that I would wear more for work under a sweater.

I haven't felt vinyasas this nice in 2 years. Last year's versions were all luon light and were super scratchy. If you have been thinking about getting a vinyasa, now is the time!

Wow the girl in the cornflower Ebb to Street tank looks amazing! She makes the tank look great but makes me wonder if it's better on ladies with lower body fat. Which store location did that pic come from please?

My thighs are shaking just looking at that girl at the barre!

Hi!
Can anyone please help me with recommendations for tanks for tall girls? I am 5'10 155 lbs wearing a size 8 in the cool racerback and looking for additional tanks. Was thinking about the power Y, First base tank and the Scoop neck
Many thanks

The ebb to street tank looks like it will wear out quickly, it also looks like it will pill.

Off topic, but the Savasana Softshell appears to have disappeared...Based upon the comments, it seems unlikely to have sold out. Repricing, perhaps?

Does anyone know if the energy tank offers the same level of support as the energy bra? I tried the fast track tank and it felt a lot less supportive than the energy bra... any one have feedback on the energy tank? (or the run your stuff tank) thanks!! :)

Any word on whether the nice asana jacket is coming out in heathered grey angel wing or lighter neutral?

Tamara - I'm 5'8" (not as tall, but...) and I highly recommend the Power Y tanks. Those and CRBs (and the occasional No Limits Tank) are the only tanks I'll wear to yoga or barre. I love that the Power Y has a built-in shelf bra, and I think they cross over to street wear. I've worn them with skirts and jean shorts.

I am also 5-8 and the first base is pretty short. Power Y is a good length, if you can get away with the low amount if support it offers. I just stick to CRBs. I have 15 I think, and I wear them everyday!

@Tamara - I'm 5'10 and the power y in luon light is a good length on me. I am a 6 in the crb but go up to an 8 in the power y (I am a 34D and need the extra room in the built in). The regular luon power y is too short for me.

The rear view on those pants is seriously terrible.

anon 3:13 - I would say it is almost as much support as the energy bra. I really like it though because it is not too snug which is what I found with the fast track and the free to be tank. Very comfortable! I think you could run in it if this helps and the body is a teeny bit looser on bottom which I like.

I have not actually purchased yet, just keep trying on. I am hoping these might make it to MD but not sure with the new colors which I love (plum WAFS and angel)

One for Om leotard, unless you're in actual dance class, I also don't get it (and I could get away with wearing it). Btw, nip city in the picture before floor bow. Not classy. I guess that's what happens in an outfit that a bra would mess up, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't have built in support.

tamara - i'm NOT tall, AND have a short torso, but i can tell you which tanks are SUPER long on me (: you're going to want to stay away from the first base tank. it's definitely on the shorter side. CRBS (as you know) are longer length, as well as tanks like the no limits, practice freely, CYB tank - pretty much all those flowy tanks with the banding at the bottom tend to run long. in my experience, 105F singlets are also pretty long - i have one that hits me mid-butt. the regular length switfly tanks (NOT the shortcut ones) tend to be *almost* as long as my CRBs - maybe a 1/2 in difference. but be careful, as there have been many different lengths coming out recently. the luon light power y tanks are quite long as well - HOWEVER, not the luon power ys. the luon power y tanks are significantly shorter than the luon light version.

Agreed that the girl in the cornflower tank looks AMAZING!

And LLA totally agree with your comment about the om leotard. I'd be laughed out of my gym if I wore that to yoga - which I never would. I could see if you want to a yoga studio or take dance - but otherwise - seems a bit over the top to me. To each his/her own.

Is there anyone out there who would get me a angel wing scarf? I can pay pal you the money! They don't have them here in CA...

Private message me if you live in a location that has them and if you would be willing to help a fellow Lulu addict. Thanks much!

OT ladies, but have any shorties bought the Studio Pant II Regular? I'm 5'3 and LOVE them in inkwell... but I have a feeling they'll be too long for my short @$$.

If you check the website, the reviews for the leotard are all extremely positive. Clearly, there are lots of people, and it looks like lots of yogis, that really like it.

The Energy Tank has so much potential, but I don't love the way it flares out at the bottom. It rides up on me, and I feel like I constantly have to pull it down.

That said I do have one, and I don't think that it offers the same support as the Energy Bra. The band of the bra portion of the tank is simply elastic, while the elastic band on the bra is wrapped with luxtreme fabric due to the design of the bra, which allows it to provide additional support. I can comfortably wear my Energy bras for high impact activities, while I stick to lower impact activities like yoga, weight training, and lounging in my Energy Tank.

i don't get the trouser pants at all. but then, i don't really like the drop-crotch look either. it just looks off.

and i really don't understand why they did more plum Groovy Run Shorts. i've been waiting for some angel wing or midnight iris. i love the plum ones i already have and don't know why they needed a second pair with a different waistband.

IMO the piqué ones from winter last year were softer than the new ones, just not the other regular Luon light ones. Remember those? The black/white and beaming blue/white piqué? They were insanely soft!

@7:59 PM - maybe for people who don't want to risk bleeding from raspberry glow on the waistband. The raspberry glow waistband is pretty but I would only wear it with pink or black or older tops. There seems to be a lot of people who suddenly have colors bleed when they have been ok for ages.

the one for om leotard drives me crazy just for having the wrong name. it's a unitard, not a leotard. calling it a leotard is like calling a crew sleeve t-shirt a tank.

the new rulu legwarmers are so bizzare fitting. I can't figure out how they look nice in photos. I have thick legs yet the top cuff part is all loose on me. and it just sits there above the rest of the legwarmer, doesn't stretch with the rest of the fabric at all. very weird.

Mandy - I'm 5'4" and just got the inkwell regular studio pants and love them!!!! They are just a tad long (about an extra inch at the bottom) but if you cinch the hem and tuck the pant under they are fine. Go for it! The color is so divine. I have alberta lake lined from last year that I found on a MD rack at a store - but the inkwell is so much nicer IMO. These are going to be my new fall weekend staple pant!

Wish I would have seen this before, they had a ton of them in WA.

So very glad that I'm not the only one driven nuts by Lulu's insistence upon calling a unitard a leotard!

If I were a unitard girl for dance, I'd wear this one. My ballet teacher wears hers all the time. While it might draw more attention to one's headlights than any of us would prefer on a daily basis, it's just par for the course for more leotards. I'm doubting that someone, even Lulu, expects any of us to wear this unitard for streetwear (please don't!!). I find it silly for yoga, but that's just me. I know that Lulu has done tutus before so I just see this as a piece of a dance collection, kind of like the biking collections and the fact that I won't be wearing bike shorts in public anytime soon! :)

I'm 5'3 and the fit perfectly but I have long legs and a short torso. They are about an inch long but a quick slip knot and I'm good to go, I'd try them on before tho. Love the inkwell!
