LA Warehouse Setup Sneak Peek Photo

A sneak peek photo from the warehouse sale setup. I'm still debating on whether to go or not. I've watched the sale racks pretty closely this summer and lululemon seems to be on a roll for the fall so I suspect I'd prefer to save my lulu budget for upcoming items rather than on stuff I've already passed on.

I'm just going because I think it'll be fun! Even if I don't find anything I really want it'll be neat just to see everything! & I keep hearing there might be sea wheeze left overs which would be pretty cool.

I agree. I am loving so much of what it is coming out right now that I don't think it's worth the trip (for me a few hours) to dig through a season of stuff I didn't care for the first time around.

do you think they'll be a huge line for this? never been to one before but was planning on going this friday morning. i only have about an hour to spend before i have to head back to pick up the kids from school.

I'd love to go and check it out but alas I'm on the east coast. Whoever goes please report back on all the details and goodies you pick up!

Is this an annual thing that Lulu does? And if anyone has been before, what is the feedback? Did you go crazy and find so many things you just couldn't live without at awesome prices, or was it more "good, but not awesome"? Wondering if it is worth the drive from San Diego

On a different subject. Got the midnight Iris scuba Hoodie & wanted to love it, but can't. The new designs are TERRIBLE. Fortunately I have old ones,so I will be OK. the pockets on the new ones are position at least 2 "higher. What that does is for myself (5'4") put them startng under the bust instead at the waist. Giving it a bad look. If anyone can get Lulu to pay attention to the new designs it would be great. The workmanship lately has been BAD, no consistency in sizing.

If anyone goes and can pick me up a pair of triangle mosaic run speed shorts in a size 10 (if there are left overs from sea wheeze) I'd be forever in your debt!!!

I stopped at my local Lulu store today and I honestly don't know why I even bother going there anymore. They only get about half of the things that I'm even remotely interested in.

I wanted a Plum CRB yesterday and of course they had none and never even stocked them.

I tried on a bunch of unmemorable stuff and was so underwhelmed. YUCK!!!!

If they ever redesign (in a bad way) their CRBs, I will be done with Lulu. As of right now, the CRBs are the only thing keeping me interested.

Karin, I just returned my plum CRB size 6 and my store has plenty because the plum color was thinner and not as nice as other colors. Just let someone know what size you need and I'm sure someone can be a lulu angel for you.

Went to the Vancouver whs sale last year. Deals were average, not great. I happened to be driving through Van the weekend of the sale so went on Friday around 10 am. All and all, in hindsight it was not worth it. I agree with LLA, if you passed on it when the item was first offered, it doesn't get better just because the price is lower. I do not wear, or rarely wear, those items from the whs sale. Life is too short to wear second tier choices. One good example was a purchase of a rulu ls yellow mini stripe crew neck (forget the name) with the quilted patches on the elbows and shoulders. It was $36. Seemed so cheap at the time, but looking back over the year, or less, since buying it, I've worn it twice, and just in the house. That was $36 wasted, in my opinion. Also bought a pair of Groovy Run shorts with the front white/blk stripe and solid black in the back for $29. Not my favorite pattern and not a great price.

If the sale is located close to you and you have three hours to waste, then go and check it out. Otherwise in my experience I have had better luck for sale items in the store (especially on Boxing Day).

I was shocked at how thin the Plum was, even though I had been warned by all of you commenters on here. My justification for keeping it was the idea that thinner fabric=less heat retention.

In the last couple years bought a few crbs, but used to buy many! MISS when the logo was on both sides, makng them truly reversible. The tage and description used to say Reversible . tricolor stiching on one side and differing patterns (heat heathered or darker shade) mad them unique and a bit more $$$ worthy. Now a color or pattern really had to strike me to buy. Treasure my older double logo crb,s.

I'm planning on going to the warehouse sales on Saturday morning. Any ideas on how early to get there? Will the line be huge?

@ anon 9:51 pm - Parking is $15 at the Convention Center and I know people who are going are going to take the train in.

I am a relative lulu newbie (2 years into my addiction) and find while at the beginning I was mostly interested in the shelf bra style tanks, now I prefer a CRB and a sports bra because I know I will have the support I need. It also was a hard pill to swallow to pay $42 for a plain old thin tank top to work out but once I bit the bullet its not so bad. I now have a whopping four CRBs and two more on the way from this past week's WMTM offering. Now I'm on the hunt for some good bras, hopefully some will hit WMTM soon since I'm trying to reign in my lulu spending.

Is there anyone going that would be willing to buy things for me?

Please email me if so: ashley (at) the disco.us

Thanks!

My husband is in LA during the sale. I told him to stop and look for me, he said he'd just go to look at the women in their see-through pants ... LOL

@ 4:09 AM, once you work out in a CRB, that is it. I run and do various types of yoga, they are indispensable and so comfortable! Also great to wear under a t-shirt or sweater. I have too many...really, it's pretty bad when I do the math.

Re: comments on the Plum CRB, interesting. I do not find it thin (or that much thinner) and the colour is beautiful! I've been waiting so long for this colour, now finally! In my city, I've been in 2 central stores (of about 6 in my city's area) and they were nearly sold out in all sizes, they had maybe 5 left at one and 3 at another (and none in the back). Luckily I was able to get two size 4's at the two different locations, one for me and one for my friend. I haven't seen a CRB colour sell out that quickly in a long time! (Including on-line.)
