Upload!

So many cute items uploaded tonight. I spent enough at the Sea Wheeze and recently on the midnight Iris CRB and Scuba so I can't spend too much this month but I did order the Sea Check plaid Groovy Run shorts tonight. I know plaid Speeds and Groovy Runs are in demand and I really like my Sea Wheeze plaid Track Attack shorts. If Track Attacks came in Sea Check I would have totally gotten them but Groovy Runs are nice, too. I tried on the Shake and Break Sea Check shorts last week but didn't like how the legs flared out. I also like that Groovy runs have gel pockets in the waistband and a back zip pocket for my phone.

What did you get? I think lots of people had big orders tonight.

Hi does anyone know why Australia got a size 2 in Dance Studio Jacket III online but the lowest size in the U.S. is a 4? Are stores in the U.S. getting size 2 in plum or is the difference because of the conversion? Would love to know, thank you :)

Anonymous said...

I got my very 1st plum Dance Studio Jacket and midnight iris/plum speed shorts. This plum color is rich and gorgeous! If it was plain purple I wouldn't have gotten it! Lol

No surprise that I can't get an order through! So many nice things tonight, all I want is the Iris vinyasa but the site is choking on me. :(
Wish I had unlimited funds for this upload, finally LLL has hooked me again!

Does anyone know when we can expect a Plum Atma tank? I wanted that and a pair of plum Will pants.
Thanks!

I got the plum dance studio jacket & midnight iris speed shorts & vinyasa scarf. I literally submitted my order 3 minutes ago and the site worked fine.

What's sizing like for In the Flow II?

Heathered plum In the Flow crop II!My wish has been granted. Thank you LLL.

I ordered the plum In the Flow crops tonight. I was really hoping for plum WUs on tonight's upload but these will do. ;) Loving the plum and the darker colors for fall!

I really want a DSJ, but I'm nervous about how it will fit because I'm so stinking short. I kind of force my bulbous, little, stocky body into Lulu (it doesn't always work out!) I think this is a item I will need to try on at the store. I'm tempted just to order 2 in the size I am and the next size up. I really wish Lulu offered some petite sizing for us shorties.

Anonymous said...

I got a black DSJ and a grey DSJ in the store earlier today and ordered a plum swiftly tonight. Tempted by the plum DSJ but it doesn't match anything I have. :/

Canada got some online only luon power y's. Did I miss them on the US side??

Anonymous said...

For the commenter that asked about size 2 in the DSJ, Australian sizing started at a 4 also.

Anonymous said...

I got the plum studio crops and pants.

Got the DSJ in plum and groovy shorts in sea check. Not sure if I'll keep the shorts because I really wanted the speeds in sea check but completely missed out both online and in store :[ now that I think about it, I think I want the boogie shorts in midnight iris more. Plus, I'm not a fan of 2-way stretch.. but sea check is just so pretty :'(

I'm so screwed because I totally blew my LLL budget (just bought 2 scubas last week!) AND they brought back power Y's in normal luon!! I've been complaining for months and now they've finally arrived. Like I said, I'm screwed.. LOL

Anonymous said...

Thanks to Fran....I picked up the Stills in Plum! When I heard ladies had already picked them up at the store, I knew they were loved.... :) I just hope the luon is soft and not stiff! :) (I prefer my Stills and Be Stills in organic cotton)

Saw some other goodies....but Im not into spending $1200 an upload anymore. Those days are long gone!!

I was in store yesterday and there were no size 2s in the DSJ.

I had some problems submitting my order this morning but it went through on the 3rd try. I got the Street to Studio Crops. I have 2 pairs already and I love them! I also got the Heathered Plum SS.

I'm confused...why do you purchase all these Lululemon items? You seem to be buying things more than once a week...or do they give you a steep discount on their items for your blog?

Anonymous said...

Marti said..... NEW Scoopneck colorblock blue moon, split pea and plum? in the charming twist headband photo.
I have a Static Plum Power Y from years ago in nice thick Luon and the Bordeaux drama Define Jacket. These are not colors that pair together/match (sorry read that somewhere) of course wear what you will.
Were the DSJ always $128????

Anonymous said...

I'm confused...why do you purchase all these Lululemon items? It seems like you buy items every week or even multiple times a week? Does Lululemon compensate or give you a steep discount in exchange for reviews on your blog?

Anonymous said...

I'm in the minority but I do not like the plum color at all!

Anonymous said...

Can anyone weigh in on the ribbon on the snaps of the vinyasa scarves? I feel like it would poke me in the neck. Dismayed at that change :-(

I pickup up the universal wrap and plum Still pants over the weekend at my local store. I'm eying the iris Energy bra this time and want to try on the In the Flow crops. The men's side has a backpack that looks good too. I'm looking for something that will hold my mat, laptop and a couple other things without being enormous. No online purchases tonight but it might be a big weekend!

@ V
Did you get the Plun In The Flow?
I hope you got one! :)

I got the DSJ in Plum and Inkwell and a pair of the Plum In The Flow. And that's plenty for this morning. ;)

Anonymous said...

The DSJ makes me dizzy to look at: color blocking, rushing down the sleeves, the lulu big logo on the chest with ruching too, more ruching on the other side with two very notorious lines crossing the breasts vertically (the ugliest), the hood is also with ruching, the long cords of the hood hanging low in the front, and I could go on.
Hopefully it'll sell out in no time, so we don't see much more of it.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know if the inkwell inspires uploaded and sold out, or another reason why they're not up on the US side? Thanks for any info....

Anonymous said...

Just the Plum SL swiftly for me. Would have got dance studio Pants if they were lined. Not feeling anything else this upload.

yogibabe said...

Canadian site got some Power Y in regular luon. There's a pretty one in spry! Where are you in the US? Boo!

Anonymous said...

I caved and got the plum DSJ too! I've been thinking about it ever since you posted last week that it was coming! I also got the heathered plum swiftly SS, and a couple of older items that I've been eyeing for a while (sizzle NLT and bang buster, and a white visor). I had to just say no to another scuba, even though that new plum one was calling my name! Thanks for your blog LLA, I'm addicted to LLL in addition to your blog!

Karin said...

I got both the plum and inkwell studio crops. Not sure if I'm keeping both, but wanted to purchase both in case they sold out quickly.

I also got the plum/raspberry glo scuba that was released tonight.

I'm going to stop by the store today and try on a DSJ. I've never tried one and want to see what all the hype is about.

Anonymous said...

I bought the dance studio jacket in black. I was eyeing a scuba but I bought 2 bliss break wraps last week so I held back.

Anonymous said...

I got... nothing. Though I'm visiting my store tonight and that will probably change.

I really want the plum stills, but I'm a borderline 2/4 -- in tights (wunder unders and running tights) I usually get a 4, but in looser things (studio crops) I get a 2. No size 2 in the stills means I might not get them. (However, this means I might get the plum dsps instead...)

I have been jonesing for a dsj ever since I saw pictures, but the forme ii might have captured my heart instead. Cuffins? No hood (let's be honest -- I likely won't use the hood). Cheaper? And the iris print looks so pretty in the forme. I'll have to try both on and compare. (I just have fingers crossed my store has 4 and 6 in the dsj tonight when I go!) If the forme ii came in plum, I don't even think i'd be considering the dsj anymore.

In the flows in plum were tempting because I'm starting to wonder if the WUs in plum are a mythical creature we'll never see.

Might get the boogies in iris for dance, but lately the higher rise of boogies has been bothering me. I migh thave to switch to pole-specific apparel for bottoms now. :(

Tempted by the iris speeds, but my speed collection is getting a little crazy.

I probably would have goten the swiftly ss in plum, but those stripes... not loving them. Fingers crossed the ls doesn't have the same look. I'm basically waiting on that and the plum WUs.

OT question: I have the sea check speeds in 2 and 4. The 2 is tight in the butt. The 4 bags out like crazy under the butt around the thighs. (I have thin thighs and a bigger butt, relatively.) Which do I keep?

RunLikeTheWind said...

Paused at the Flow crops in Plum, but I'll try those in the store. They are so revealing, but the color might convince me. Hoping Plum will come in other items that I really want: CRB, Track Attack shorts, Gather and Crows.

Got the street to studio crops in inkwell and plum. I bought the black and dune back in spring and have been wearing them almost every day! So glad to see it coming back in more colors. Wish there is a soot or charcoal! I like the new plum stripe scuba, but I bought 3 new scubas (commuter denim, commuter gray, nimbus stripe) in the last 2 months and it's still in the 90s here so I really can't spend anymore money on them :( It's too early for me to buy jackets and vests and anything that I can't wear in the summer! I got the plaid pacesetters last week but find the waist band not giving enough like the rest of my ps. it's not as defective as the nimbus stripe from months ago, but I feel it's still defective. I like the Fast cat skirt but the plaid just didn't look good on me so that sadly went back too! It's been a few months since I have gotten a good pair of PS so I am looking forward to the midnight iris print!

I think it would be all worth our while...to call Lulu and report all the problems.....with submitting online orders!!! Ive been having these issues for at least 8 months and Im getting tired of my screen freezing on my ipad. I clear my cookies and reboot, but the problem is still happening! Its 3-4 attemps before my order finally gets to the screen where I can put my ccard info in. I wish Lulu....would read this blog and get their SH*T together!! We all think they read this this blog....but Im starting to wonder! Every time I ask Lulu about stuff posted on this this blog...I get the same "gee...I dont know...." Or "I dont know...I dont go to any of the Lululemon blogs..." LOL

If they do read this blog....they arent letting on that they are. With all the issues people have been having with submitting orders, youd think it would have been fixed by now....? Come on Lulu....get your SH*T together!

Does anyone know what the difference in colour is between the black In the Flow crops and the heathered black In the Flow crops II? The original ones are somewhat a heathered black already....

Anonymous said...

nada for me! I'm over Plum already, seriously make it stop.

I feel lulu’s business model has shifted as it is now consistently catering to a new to LLL and younger audience with these re-releases of previously loved colors, Pow Pink (though was actually Neon Pink!), Power Purple, Angel Blue, and now Plum.

Part of the lulu appeal that makes women go crazy for the brand is the scarcity model and perceived exclusivity of the brand. I feel this shift is a big mistake for keeping your loyal and supportive customer base happy. I love my Plum WUP from 2011 because they’re unique and beautiful, but the thought of everyone and their mother sporting them when they’re released again makes me cringe.

@6:14 in regards to the stills I am 2 or 4 in lulu depending on style. 108 lbs 32-25-33. I bought the stills in spring in size 2 and they are spool huge. My bottom half just doesn't fill them out enough and they look unattractive. On ladies that can wear them they look awesome. You should def try on b4 you buy IMO. Hope this helps.

Intrigued by the Forme Jacket II. Need to try this on in store first. I hope the shoulder & sleeve length issues are corrected, but they're probably not.

I don't understand why they can't just bring back the Define. Everyone is asking for it. Stupid marketing if you ask me.

I was debating between the DSJ in plum and the midnight iris Form II. I already have the DSJ II in black from last year and I love it so much! And since I bought that one I was wishing I had more colors of it... so I caved and ordered the DSJ III in plum... although I'm not positive I'll keep it. I'm interested to see what the fit is like, since I'm hoping it is just slightly looser than my size 6 from last year.

I also caved and ordered the form III in midnight iris, mostly because I wanted to try it on. I ordered a size 6 in that one also; I couldn't remember if that is a size-down item or not. Hopefully size 6 fits. Does anyone see what the difference is between the I and II? Is it just the cuffins? I noticed they don't list it for running anymore, just yoga and to-and-from.

I also bought a pair of the midnight iris speed shorts. I don't buy very many speed shorts because I don't think they fit a large booty very well. On me they are tight on the bottom, but fit well on the waist. So I wasn't sure if I should size up, but I thought they would likely sell out fast, so I just bought my normal size of 6. Online I thought they looked like 4-way stretch, but it's always hard to determine that from just photos.

To the person who is "confused" -- I am a regular 29 year old who works in healthcare and I would say I purchase > $100 per week, every week. I don't think it is really that unusual. Everyone has their "thing" that they spend a lot on. I just don't spend much on other brands anymore.

I am trying to like the DSJ but I can't, I think both the scuba and the DSJ are unattractive and also not functional. I like the plum color but don't think I could wear pants that color, the swiftly is calling my name.
I saw the inkwell inspires at the Union Square NYC store a few days back. It is really nice and not too crazy. I did not buy anything and won't until I do 7 miles @ 8:30. Have to set some rules

I can't believe I'm saying this but the new Forme jacket with the Iris print is cute!! I swore I'd never buy a Forme jacket but I just might cave!!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:20 am - I was thinking the same thing and now that it is the Forme II with cuffins and a more form-hugging fit (though, that may be model-dependent) it is looking better to me. I need to try on this new version and see if they improved on the Forme. However, it would be hard not to, lol.

I just came back from the store and saw the DSJ it looks small, I passed $128.00 is too steep for me.

Anyone has had trouble with multiple thread pulls and pilling on their Street to Studio crops? I am not hard on clothes and these are falling apart after a couple of months of wearing them.

I jusr purchased the Bliss hoodie and Voyage pullover Tenecel.

Anonymous said...

@7:23am - wow cringe? Seems like a pretty harsh reaction to clothing!

Anonymous said...

@Anon8:39 - I have 2 pairs of street to studio (black and dune) I bought in Spring and been wearing all thru the summer. The dune held up pretty well but the black ones have pilling and the waist band had rolled. No thread pulls. The black just looks very beat up in the waist band area but the rest of the pant is fine and doesn't affect my wear. I just ordered the inkwell and plum last night as they are my favorite pants and I can live with pilling and rolling.

Yeah I called Lululemon about the problems of placing orders online for me she thought that it had something to do with using an Apple product iPad iPod iPhone etc. She said Lululemon is aware of the problem and has been looking into it but there's not much they can do....:(

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:22 am - Interesting. I did my order on an iMac last night and I think I was in Safari. However, the lulu website doesn't work right on my iPad. I can never pull up the We Made Too Much section on my ipad.

Anonymous said...

Got the new studio pants in inkwell...I'm hoping the new regular length will be just perfect!

Anonymous said...

It looks like I'm not alone in having problems with the lululemon site, but have others had your order confirmed via email and then subsequently get cancelled? Is this common?

I guess I'll have to visit a store in person now, but this was a bit frustrating!

Anonymous said...

The plum midnight iris speed shorts kind of look like a darker edgy version of Unicorn Tears :)

I made my purchase on my macbook last night at 9:46pm and it was fine. I did notice the webpage was loading very slow during the upload (for the last few weeks) - spitting out a few items at a time. I did login to my account before the upload so I can get thru the checkout without typing in any information. I was done by 9:47pm and got the confirmation email at 9:50pm. I was using Firefox.

Anonymous said...

I ordered on a Mac; I usually use Firefox, but yesterday ordered using Safari because it was loading faster. WMTM doesn't pull up on my ipad using the drop-down lists at the top; but if you select something else (eg, tanks) and scroll to the bottom, the WMTM link on the left column works for me.

Anonymous said...

anon 9:50 When I called GEC this am they told me they are swamped with calls, and to expect delays processing the orders.

Since when the store educators cannot tell you when something is coming in? This would save me the hassle of placing the order on line.

Anonymous said...

I have the same problems you have with your iPad! In order to get into we made too much I had to make the we made to much section my home screen, on my iPad! :) She also said that Safari was not the best thing to use on an iPad...she gave me some other names of other browsers I could use that were more compatible. She also cited that one of the big problems was too many people on the website trying to order at the same time and everything just crashes. These Apple problems have been going on for at least eight months on my end and I haven't seen any resolution so far. She said Lulu is aware of the problems and said that they are looking into it..... How long it will take to fix it she had no idea. She was super nice!! :)

RE: the person asking about the blog, I think that person is new and assumes that all the pictures posted here are of LuluAddict's collection. LuluAddict compiles photos from multiple sources for us to enjoy--Facebook, local stores, etc.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 3:56 am - no, no discount at all, damnit! Why not buy lulu? I work out a lot & don't have any groovy run shorts yet. I churn my collection (sell the old stuff I am tired of) fairly regularly so it helps to pay for my new one.

Jen said...

LLA- I just type in 'sale' in the search box and WMTM comes up. I usually leave one browser open to it on my iPad. Annoying, but a solution!

Anonymous said...

11:44 it is not just apple, I tried a number of devices using different operating systems and browsers and I kept getting an error.
It is actually good since I should be training instead of shopping.
Lulu is bombarded with orders at the moment, part of me thinks it is the popularity of all the lulu blogs, that keep attracting people to the brand.

@jen - thanks! I would have never figured that out.

I got black DSJ, iris speeds, inkwell in the flows and iris energy bra. I don't have a dark energy bra yet so I'm stoked on this, matter of fact its my first non bright colored sports bra lol.
I was tempted by plum in the flows too but I'm not sure how these will fit me, the regular ebb and flow II was way too long for me and hence too big at the bottom so I'm hoping these will work out better.
I had troubles checking out but managed to keep going back then submitting again and changing a few things like selecting gift and it finally just went thru *sigh of releif*

I ordered the DSJ during the upload last night and received confirmation only to receive an email today saying my order was cancelled. There were a lot of glitches.

Same for me. I can't ever get the WMTM on my iPad or iPhone at times. Have to use my Imac

Anonymous said...

Jane Smith:
the secret to getting to WMTM on the iPad is to go into any other section, say "tanks" for instance, then click on the WMTM on the menu list that appears on the left hand side of the screen. you can never get to it using the top pull down menus, or at least my iPad never can.

same goes for "what's new."

Anonymous said...

You can go to WMTM from the left navigation pane. It's usually the item on the list.

Stopped by the store tonight and picked up the plum In the Flow crops. I got my regular WU size and was expecting sheerness, but was pleasantly surprised! And I was wear white underwear! We're making progress, lulu!

Also got the new Cruiser 2.0 backpack. I've been looking for a bag that can hold my work laptop, my mat and a change of clothes but not be so big that I can crawl inside it. Would have preferred a shoulder bag but this was too perfect to pass up.

My store didn't have the iris energy bras out yet but they're on my list. I also want to check out the Softshell jacket when that comes in. I need a casual fall jacket that doesn't look like a hoodie. Is the Softshell a prior item? Anyone have it?

Anonymous said...

@ Jane Smith...that's exactly what I do on my iPad! I always thought it was LLL's way of ensuring you check out their full price items before you make it over to the sale items!
