Plum No Limit Tank, Plum Wee Are From Space Scuba, and More

Attention Plum lovers! A new Plum No Limit Tank. Shown with the Pique Will Pant. My pants are coming today.

The Plum/Black Wee Are From Space Scuba. I have heard it runs a bit snug in the chest.

 New Striped Bangbuster.

New quilt band on Groove Pants.

The striped Cool Racerbacks.

The newest Forme Jackets in Angel Wing hyperstripe and Inkwell/Plum Stripe

Black Nice Asana Jacket.

The newest Power Y tanks.

The Hi Low Wunder Under Pants. I don't get why these made a comeback. They look like crap on everyone with the waist up. Maybe because they smooth you out under a tank top?

Ignore those pants on the left but check out the Plum Pace Setter skirt on the right.

considering they made almost everything in plum I really hope a plum power y tank and plum flow y bra come out.

and yeah, no one in real life is wearing the high-waisted WUs exposed like in these pics. I like the held in feeling it gives under my tanks. would have still preferred a regular plum WU though.

I tried on the Hi/Lows today. The rise seemed really long, in addition to the waistband. Weird fit. I can see it being a good thing for anyone hoping to avoid muffin top.

I am SO sick of Plum. It's everywhere.. They've seriously overkilled that colour. I used to love it because it was kind of unique and there weren't a zillion tanks and items in it. Now I seem to see it everywhere I go. I'm over it, time for some items in a new colour!!!

Love that new plum scuba!
OT - I just received an Alberta Lake Rose scuba from a seller on eBay which is quite possibly the WORST fake I have ever seen! Ugh! So frustrating! Does anyone know if there is any recourse against this? I'm mostly just mad at myself that I'm out $120..... Grrrrrrrr

@ anon 2:33 - that's such a bummer. if you have contacted the seller and they won't accept a return, you can contact your credit card company - i have amex linked to my paypal and i've only had to do it once but they will hold payment until ebay resolves - i think other cards do the same.

i love the plum color but didn't want to go overboard, got the plum in the flow crops and energy bra (love both) i had to return the sea check PS skirt which i loved but it was obviously flawed - i LOVE the look of the plum PS but i think i'll wait to try on in store - since sadly the PS has also been hit or miss lately. going to have to use will power not to get the NLT in plum - i love the color and also that it is all one color - those are my favorites. thanks LLA for such an AWESOME blog!!

Oh WTF - twice now I've heard Tender Violet is coming back - so is LLL just not bringing out new colors anymore - seriously sick of the reruns and especially sick of more pink/purple variations! Sorry - had to rant :)

I need that plum NLT!

You can put in a dispute with ebay especially if you paid using pay pal. Then they contact the seller. I had that happen once not a fake but someone said the ite was NWT and it clearly wasn't, then they refunded me a portion of money.

@2:33pm that happened to me a while ago, too. According to eBay/Paypal, if I were able to produce a notarized statement by an authorized dealer confirming the item to be counterfeit, I "might" have gotten my money back. I had a 30 day deadline. I live in a tiny resort town 4.5 hrs from the nearest major city and you have to cross a mountain pass to get out of here, and this was during the winter. I had to suck up the loss :( Sometimes you get the elevator, and sometimes you get the shaft.

I'm looking for some ideas/opinions!

I recently got the Blss Break wrap in angel wing and though I love a cozy wrap and don't mind that it's ahapeless, I really don't like the colour. I was wondering if I should try bleaching it to try and brighten it up? Or try something different with fabric dye? I don't want to take the chance of ruining the wrap, though.

By the way, it's much thinner than I expected. My Savasana wraps are heaps better.

tender purple WUs?!?! I have been kicking myself all year for not getting the tender violet ones last fall/winter.

I really really hope those come out in other stores too and aren't just some back room find of old stock in Boston.

the color combo of the stripes with the plum pacesetter skirt is by far my favorite of the new plum & stripes combo. the grey and navy make all the difference.

I don't comment much anymore, but I have to say, anon 2:33 pm that is absolutely unacceptable and you will definitely get 100% of your purchase price, plus shipping back if you go about this the right way.

I too bought two very bad fake CRBs from an Ebay seller years ago and this is is what I did:

1. Contact the seller and request a refund, request that they pay for return shipping. I suggest mentioning concern regarding it being counterfeit. Most sellers who sell fakes will agree to settle and if this seller is smart, they will HAPPILY do this for you. It is illegal both internationally and on Ebay to sell counterfeit goods. Sellers must agree to this as part of their selling agreement.

2. If the seller doesn't budge, file a claim immediately with Ebay, also call Ebay and Paypal to ask for their advice and guidance. On Ebay you have Ebay Buyer Protection.

3. If Ebay requests a notarized statement like what anon at 4:06 pm mentioned (I doubt they will as Ebay is VERY buyer friendly and rarely sides with the seller in cases of fraud), get your item authenticated! I believe http://www.authenticate4u.com/ will authenticate lulu, but email them now to confirm. Ebay recognizes and honors their authentication services.

4. If none of this works and assuming you paid with your credit card, call your credit card company ASAP and request a charge back. Your credit card company will reverse the charge and re-credit your account. If you paid with Paypal, you are SOL, but I doubt it will get to that.

Absolutely DO NOT settle for the BS in this situation. The seller may try to bully you, but that is unacceptable. $120 is a lot of money and you deserve justice. Sorry to sound so preachy, but buyers who sell fakes on Ebay, particularly lulu make me ragey. I report them regularly, but you can't get them all flagged unfortunately.

Lastly, can you please share the name of the seller when you feel comfortable doing that?

groovegirl is absolutely right - Ebay is usually good with things like this (happens all the time!). I've never been in this situation before so I can only echo what everyone else has said so far, but I wish you the best of luck. I despise scammers!!

PS - I still LOVE plum! I still want a free to be bra in plum, and maybe I'll pick up the swiftly LS and CRB. I'm excited that WAFS is making a comeback!!!

Thanks everyone for your comments re: the fake scuba. I want to give the seller the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe they didn't KNOW it was a fake, but I'm thinking that the fact that they used a stock photo of the item and not actual photos probably speaks for itself...

@4:06 "sometimes you get the elevator and sometimes you get the shaft"..... Made me smile even though I'm pissed :). Thanks

Ah, I was hoping it was inkwell instead of black on that scuba..now I am having second thought...

The Way We Were said...

Re Jenn, I don't care for the plum color as much either but I do love all heatheris plummy colors. They are heaven~

Just a side topic, random thought rather. I do appreciate this blog and I have got so much first hand info from it. My bow to the owner~
However, I do find people in some of these pictures can use a size up or two...I am not judging the size or shape, just thought sometimes a larger size might be more flattering on those of us who carry a few extra pounds here and here. Plese don't beat me...

This is how I look at what I think are too snug clothes: I assume most people reach for their usual size. So if some tank is appearing to be too tight across a ton of photos/people I interpret that as meaning the tank runs small.

I noticed there were some tender violet Wunder Unders at the Santana Row Lulu yesterday. They were the black and tender violet reversible ones. I was just figuring it was old stock that was found and sent out. Hope this helps if you are looking for these.

@ The Way We Were at 5:32 pm - I'm with you - glad the plum weave scuba arms are black, because that means i won't feel compelled to buy one! phew.

@anon 2:33 you sure it's a fake? That was one of those first scuba stretches (I have it) and the quality wasn't up to par with the normal scubas. Does it have the raspberry glow ribbon lining the zipper? It's def more lightweight and te hood is unlined, etc. If you have any questions let me know!

@luluaddict I actually TOTALLY love the hi/low WUs because although Im not heavy, I'm squishy.... And definitely a muffin top girl. My legs are thinner than my hips... With regular WUs if I go with a 6 is great everywhere but the waist... Where it digs in ALOT. If I size up the waist is great but the legs are baggy. These are perfect because they don't have a seam at the top that digs in. Even when folded down for me theyre smoother under a crb than regular WUs! I get what you're saying if you don't have muffin top issues, but for me these are a godsend!!! Thanks!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 2:33 pm - What makes you think it's a fake? Like anon 12:09 am said, the first batch of Scuba stretches was very lightweight and super stretchy. I have the Alberta Lake Scuba, too. It's beautiful. The hood is unlined. I don't think it's a commonly faked print.

Anon said...

Anon 2:33 pm here

I'm pretty sure it's a fake because:
1. it has a brown ribbon trim by the zipper (not raspberry glow)
2. it has a LINED hood
3. material is really, really cheap. Painted on design and actually is brown background, not black.
4. and the kicker, the attached tag is for an In Stride Jacket with a PHOTOCOPIED sticker over the top indicating this is a "Scuba Jacket" and based on my authentic Laceoflage scuba, this should say it is a Scuba Stretch.

Marti said.... I don't even try to sell my Lululemon items on ebay anymore although I have 50 other items listed weekly. I keep my receipts and hangtags but people are very skeptical (rightfully so) when they receive/purchase LLL items. ALSO, so many have buyers remorse for continuing to bid up to some crazy high price. Despite my receipts and hangtags I was still grilled threaten and accused of selling a fake. It's a huge hassle, so I don't sell LLL on Ebay anymore. I would attempt to sell my vintage LLL items but I don't have receipts for those
Oh and my Alberta Lake Rose Scuba went back to LLL because it's very thin and short and if you are accustomed to the original the Alberta Lake definitely felt like a knock-off.

I have the tender violet/black reversible WUC and hardly ever wear them. They are not as stretchy as regular WUC and always feel like they are falling down. The color is beautiful but sadly I don't wear them enough to justify having paid $82 for them. Get lots of compliments on them when I do wear them though for what its worth!

The Carlsbad Forum store had Tender Violet WUP today. I got the Pique Will pants but it was 98 degrees today and it's too hot to even keep them on lol. I haven't taken the tags off yet because I love Wunder Unders and am wondering if I should hold out for some pique WUP, do you think they will make them again?

Could anyone tell me how the Nice Adasana jacket compares to the old stride jacket??

Does anyone know if the lulu size stickers are always plain white with just the size on it?
