Did anyone see the Sea Check Pace Setter skirt yet in any US retail stores? There is one but is on eBay and it might be too small..

Yep, I'll be passing on those on Friday.

Are those shorts or a clown costume?

OT but are the Sea Multi plaid Speed Short 2 way or 4 way stretch?

OT - when is the black amped crop going to be released in the US? I've been waiting since a pic was put up here 2 weeks ago =)

These shorts won't be coming home with me on Friday. They are a bit too crazy for me. So far I am not super impressed with too many of the sneak peak items for seawheeze. Hopefully there will be more at the shop.

Anon 6:52pm: Mine arrived in the mail today, and they are 2-way stretch. I think I read somewhere that prints are generally 2-way stretch.

I think I saw The Bionic Woman wearing that top in the seventies!

They are 2-way stretch.

OMG, my store Pacific Place in Seattle got almost everything including non web items like inkwell inspires, Universal wrap in all three colors, and regular length plum Astros(they are sheer). I blew all my Seawheeze fund!

Do these shorts (with these big, huge, wide horizontal stripes running across the widest part of my body) make my butt look big? LOL, fail!

I actually like the 2-way stretch in speed shorts better than the 4-way stretch. I feel it hugs your booty more and gives it shape, while the 4-way stretch is super flimsy! And the material just droops! I got the last pair of love red shorts today at my store and I also tried on the raspberry glow, with the square pattern on the wristband and didn't like it since they are 4way stretch and loose even at size 2. I came home with the love red which are 2way stretch. If the pink ones were 2way i would have probably gotten them too. Which do you prefer?

Sea check speeds are 2-way.
Got the last pair of size 4 in Edmonton. There was only one other pair left — size 10 — which I was tempted to buy simply for resale, but my kids were acting up so I grabbed the 4s and went. This was around 11am (think the store opened at 10). Got lunch across the way, then came back (b/c my son wanted a LLL bag too) and the 10s were gone.
Nuts.

I would be all over those fast track shorts. They look like a blast and yes a bit crazy, but I think they would be fun to run with my run club in the city.

Well if this is any indication of what the Seawheeze stuff is like this year I guess we won't have to worry about scalpers and it selling out! Woof! This is horrible!

Heads Up...tried on the sea check pace setter skirt and it has the same can't pull it past your thighs issue as another recent release. The waistband to skirt stitching does not strtch at all. Manufacturing mistake. Have not had this issue with other two-way stretch skirts.

Also tried on the new Astro shorts and they are perfect. Waiting to see what colors are released. They had black, plum and inkwell. Fit is like knock out shorts, perhaps a smidge shorter.

I prefer the 4 way stretch. especially when they get wet. The dry very quickly and the material doesn't rub and leave marks. I think I only have one pair of the 2 way in beaming blue and I mostly use those for around the house or when I'm on the boat.

Anon@9:40, I prefer 4 way for Speeds. I''m a runner, and they move seamlessly with my body. The 2 way is kind of stiff (although, all the fun patterns are 2 way!)

talking about materials rubbing the wrong way. I went for a 5 mile run with hills last night in a white speed skirt that I bought 2 years ago and the shorts kept chaffing my inner thighs hurt like a sun burn. I have only used that skirt for kettle bell workouts.
fast track shorts didn't rub at all.
