New Weave Scuba, Swiftly Half Zips, and More

New Plum Weave Scuba. I can't tell whether the sleeves are black or inkwell. I need to resist this. I live in SoCal and have eight Scubas and don't need anymore.

Also shown is the LS Swiftly in Plum

Shown with the Astro Short
The new Swiftly LS Half Zip in Plum, Black, Blue Moon, and Raspberry Glo.

The very striking Inkwell/Plum/Blue Moon Striped Forme II Jacket.

That is a niiiice scuba. Living in FL and having two lulu hoodies already I need to resist this one as well.

The astro shorts...not too flattering in the back. I had read reviews of similar complaints.

Does anyone work out in the 1/2 zip swiftly? Wondering if the collar flops around annoyingly if you have it unzipped a bit (like while running).

OMG! I am SO in trouble!!!! Love love love the scuba! I bought 4 scuba's in the last 2 months and I live in NM! I don't even know when I can wear mine and I certainly do not need more (but I WANT!)...maybe I can turn up the AC now just so I can cuddle with my Scuba :)

Until they make a long scuba...

I think the other color in the new scuba is "deep zinfande" as in the Studio Softshell.

Is that a scuba stretch or a regular scuba or possibly a new version, maybe a remix with thumb holes?

I picked up a remix off of ebay this week and it is sooo much better than the scuba stretch. I still prefer the regular scuba but the remix is a good second choice. I have one scuba stretch and I only wear it when I don't care if it will get lost, stolen or dirty/ruined.

Oh, the woman in the 1st pic of 1/2 zip swiftlies looks so cute! I never cared for those 1/2 zip swiftlies, but it looks really cute when it's not super tight and kinda loose as she has it there. I will have to give this a try.

At a glance, this New Plum Weave Scuba looks like the March Multi Wee Are From Space/Black from last year. Regretted that I missed that one, and will be keeping an eye out for this. Central Coast of CA do get chilly...a little! ;)

Loving that plum weave! I don't really like the scubas for me so I am hoping that comes in other items.

A) Anyone tried this new batch of 1/2 zip swiftly? last time i didn't like how it fit around the neck - too tight and zipper kind of pulled.

B) That plum long sleeve swiftly in the photo (crew neck) does not look like the one i thought i ordered! on the website it appears to have thin, darker stripes, which make it look much better IMO. (i think the heathered plum is a little drab/generic - i love all of the other plum stuff and was disappointed in the swiftly version of plum).
Will my long sleeve crew neck be striped or blah? only a week will tell...

C) Plum Weave scuba = trouble!!!

What is the sizzle singlet or tank in the 6th pic?

I love that plum weave scuba, makes me regret buying the regular plum one which I only just received in the mail yesterday!:(
As a just-deflowered Scuba-Stretch virgin, my two cents: they're thick, soft, absolutely lovely! I was surprised, after reading all the negative comments. The length was absolutely fine (I'm 5'4). IMO it wasn't even stretchy, so I cannot imagine how stiff the original Scuba must have been. I'm a 34B and 4-6 in tops; read about how small these Scuba-Stretches run, so I ordered a 6 (I'm also a 6 in the Define). Anyway, the Scuba-Stretch turned out to be being pretty roomy and I think I would have preferred the 4 for a more pulled-together look.

swiftly half zip looks great! loving the plum color and the blue. That is an awesome base layer top for fall sailing. I think I might cave in and get a couple.

does anyone know if the plum weave scuba is black or inkwell on the arms? thanks!

Wow those plum astro shorts aren't flattering at all in the bum.. I'm glad I didn't order these instead.
I loved the idea of them and they looked cute, but for some reaon I can't see them working for me now. I don't live near a store so I can't try on.
I wore my DSJ for the first time yesterday, I'm in love!! It's super flattering and cute, a little tight in the stomache but I prefer the fitted look, stayed with my normal scuba and everything else size 4. Too bad its so ridiculously expensive.

Just located and purchased the Scuba Plum Weave, and the sleeves are black. The Plum Weave part is "heathered" with black and is super gorgeous! It is the same fit and sizing as the regular stretch Scubas.

The GEC at the store said I was the 3rd person to purchase one today, so if you want it you better move fast!!

Ah, why did I click...Now I want that scuba...I have sworn not to buy more after my last one...a few days ago.
I am debating between the half zip and swiftly, in plum/heather plum...so hard to make up my mind

@Anon 5:57, I run in swiftly half-zips and the collar does flap some. If I unzip all or most of the way and try to leave the collar up, the part with the zipper pull will bounce around. I fold the t-neck down at the back to stop it. It's a little fussy if I'm wearing a shell over it, but otherwise fine.
