I'm not sure of the color of these new Hyperstripe Run For Your Life crops but I think it's Plum and Deep Zinfandel though I've read others call this Plum/Inkwell. The color code is HSPM/PWM/PSAW.

I got my Pique Skinny Will pants today and I lurve them. They are very thick and opaque. I had on pow pink underwear and I couldn't see them in my home mirror when I bent over. It was 97 today so I won't be wearing them for awhile but I can't wait to break them out for watching my son's soccer games on a chilly day.

I'm keeping everything from Monday's order - the Plum Cool Racerback, the Plum Energy Bra, the duffel bag, and the Pique Will Pants.

tempted by the skinny will pants pique. How does it fit? I'm between sizes, should I go up or down?
Size down. Pique is super stretchy.
what did you end up doing/feeling about the plum energy bra size?
LLA, Do you think these Pique Will pants will pill ? Thanks !
Oooh the bag looks great! I already have two lulu bags on the go so I can pass. Once upon a time lulu had a duffle bag in that embossed peacock print and I hmm'd and hawed and didn't get it and it haunts me to this day! I want that bag..sigh.
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Run Stuff your Bra - Bra, coming out in any new colours? I really love mine. I prefer it to my energy bra's actually and would love another colour that maybe isn't quite so bright. I have the bright green right now. I would adore a plum but I wonder if they are all done making run items since it's fall and are focusing on warmer options. Sigh. Too bad.
Hmmm so tempted by the Plum Wee space Scuba! But I have the Multi March wee space - too similar maybe? I'd love to see a scuba that isn't candy pop colours or dark blue/purple tones. Adore the plum/inkwell Run For Your Life crops too.
The NZ site has been severely lacking in most of the new stuff released lately. And it seems there's a lot of older stuff sitting on there at full price not selling. I hope it's not becoming the place where awful stuff comes to die.
Oh man, LOVE those RFYL crops!! This is such a crazy month I've spent more on lulu this month than in the last 6!!
I love the pique will pants! Are they going to be online ?
@ anon 6:30 pm - I've lost some weight so my bra size has changed. My current Energy Bras in size 12 are getting kind of big/loose and the Plum 10 is a bit snug but I'm still working on losing more so I'll eventually get to where the bra feels ok.
@ anon 7:23 pm - the pique wills were uploaded on Monday night. They are sold out in a couple of sizes on the US side and only available in size 2 on the Canadian side of the website. They are starting to hit the stores now.
Please, please, please... let there be a WUC in the same hyperstripe of the RFYL!
I love the piqué skinny wills!!!! They are my first pair and 10xs better than wunder unders!!! I also took back my high low plum wunder unders and got the plum skinny wills! The wunder unders are all see thru and the wills are not. But if you notice the wills are cut curved at the hips allowing for more coverage over the wider butt hip area. Wu are not and cut straight like panty hose. I don't know why they don't fix it. But skinny wills are my new favorite. I bought 3 today!
I also heard a lot if complaints of the rfyl crops falling apart at the seams. They should recall those crops.
Love the Plum Pace Setter with the Heathered Plum Swiftly. Not an overdose of the color since the top is heathered.
I got my plum crb today and it will be going back! Very scratchy and shiny on my chest where it stretches a bit over the girls. This is the first solid crb I've ever had this problem with, but disappointing because I love the colour.
@ ljg680 - good tip on the plum skinny wills. I have to check those out in the store.
I just got the new RFYL crops & they are my new fave! The inside of the waistband has the same color pattern as the plum pacesetter skirt so I think the last part of the color code on the tag stands for Plum Striped Angel Wing. They are beautiful & I took them in my TTS 6. Oh & non sheer!
My store just received the skinny wills in plum & piqué tonight. Going to buy both tomorrow because of them not being sheer like the low/high WUP. If you haven't tried the skinny wills you should so comfy very soft too. Thanks LLA for this wonderful BLOG for us LL fanatics! Is there such a thing as having too much Lulu?
I received my Plum/Inkwell/Split Pea CRB in the mail today. I lucked out in the placement of the stripes such that the dark colors cover my bust and my stomach. It is very thin (55% Nylon, 37% Polyester and 8% Lycra). Made in Cambodia. I will keep it because I like the colors but it is definitely much thinner than any other CRBs I own.
I'm still debating on whether to keep my Midnight Iris Forme because it is also very thin....
lol
Anon 10:16 where is your local store? Has anyone seen plum skinny wills in New York? Thanks!
I got that duffle too, I can't wait to see it next week when it arrives (I'm on the slow boat to the east coast shipping program).
Try on report: I went to the store last night planning on getting a Right as Rain coat and I tried on my usual size 10 and it fit everywhere but was tight across my shoulders. I tried a 12 and it was too big, the sleeves were too long and it just looked unflattering. As much as I wanted to love the coat it just doesn't work for me and my linebacker shoulders. HA.
I did see that plum and black scuba and I wasn't impressed in person. But as a full disclaimer, I am a regular Scuba LOVER and I am not much of a fan of the stretch.
And a quick question, did the plum skinny wills upload and did I miss that? I'm pretty sure I have a pair of black at home in my closet and I'm thinking the plum might be a nice addition to my collection as well as the pique.
Have a great Lulu day.
MacFrannie
What about the ziggy gh lo wus? Has anyone tried them? I ordered them and the skinny wills yesterday but they won't be here for like a week (shipping to Boston takes forever!!). I've been reading totally mixed reviews about the ziggy wus - any comments would be great!!
@8:56
I picked mine up yesterday and I am disappointed! Feels thin.... But the color is gorgeous!
Also picked up the 105 f singlet, besides my bf calling it a hot shirt, hope it lives up! Love the raspberry glo!
I just woke up after having a dream about trying to track down those rfyl crops. Oh dear, I have a major problem!
I tried on the Pique Skinny Will pants yesterday (they only had them in a 2, think I want a 4) and I LOVED the fabric/fit. Does anyone know if the plain black Skinny Wills are the same thick fabric?
Thanks!
For those of you who bought or tried on the new Forme Jacket Cuffins, did you get it in the same size as the Define? Do the new Forme and the Define have a similar fit? Considering buying my first Forme but have no clue about sizing, I'm 34B and size 6 in Define. Thank you
Can someone who recently bought any Swiftly Tech top and owns Swiftly Tech in Dewberry comment on how similar these two colors in the Swiftly fabric are?
I can only buy lulu online and have a Swiftly LS in Dewberry, from the computer screen, they look just so similar, but colors seen on a screen are deceiving.
Thank you
Really love how that blonde lady pairs her swiftly with a tone on tone skirt...I am inspired!
@Erin, I'm also super curious if the stuff your bra is coming out in new colors, I have two and it is my absolute favorite (fits me much better than the energy bra too)!
Does anyone know if the plum pace setter is 2-way or 4-way?
MacFrannie, I am dying for that Scuba and my store won't be getting any Scubas until October....could I work out something with you to get one?
MacFrannie - I am dying for that Scuba and my store won't be getting any for a while...can I work out something with you to get one???
Erin lulu makes run gear all year round, lots of people including myself run outside in the Winter.
I really like the yellow go with the flow (?) bag it has a lot of pockets and I can fit my run stuff as well as my meals for the day, it's my favorite carry bag so far.
M
OT!
There's a DSJ in plum in size 8 on the US lulu site! Hurry if you want it! :)
Anonymous at 4:55: I ordered the Ziggy High/Low Wunder Under pants and I really like them. It all depends on if you like the feel of the material. This pair is more stretchy, thin and slinky feeling than other luon bottoms. I don't have a pair of WU that feels like this, but I don't mind it. They weren't sheer at all on me and I love the print.
I ordered on Tuesday morning and received my package on Thursday morning! I love how quick the packages get to me. It almost is more worth it to order online than go into the store... even though I have one that's a 5 minute drive away. Haha. I just feel like the store always has such a smaller stock than online.
The Plum Pacesetter is gorgeous! 4-way stretch too...why they make it in anything else is beyond me. Thanks for posting the pic so I could hussle to my store to get the last one!
macfrannie: Did you try one 2 of the same size? There is enough of a size variation with every garment this fall to try on 2 of the same size.
I still not convinced that Lululemon has fixed their quality issues.
Under Armour has just released a new Studio line of pants that are similar to the Dance Studio Line and they are better quality and cheaper than Lulus. Under Armour has hired a former Lululemon executive.
fyi Midnight Iris scubas & WU have been re stocked. Looks like all sizes
Bought the pique skinny wills at the Wayne PA store today. They are amazing! I have never tried on any of the skinny wills before and I didn't want to take them off. I see these as being more casual/weekend wear for me as they would be too hot for me to practice yoga. Really looking forward to wearing them with boots and tunics/long sweaters. I did not see the plum in the store.
Tried on a bunch of the new stuff and wasn't wowed by any of it including the exhalation pullover, tuck and flow long sleeve, chai time pullover (cute but I see this pilling like crazy and looking old quickly and like reviews say the forearms are super tight!) and the swiftly half zip. The half zip was nice but tight even in a size up for me which would limit layering capabilities. Plus it felt thin and I don't want to see snags all over it. Did not like the plum long sleeve swiftly with the mini stripes.
In other news I wore my IPLUX WUC to the gym this morning. They are great. Nice not to have to worry about showing my butt to everyone in the gym when I bend over. :)
Sorry guys, about the availability of the DSJ in plum size 8. Was hoping that my earlier comment would post on time (at around 10:20am). The jacket in plum is now sold out again. :(
LOVE those new RFYL crops! are they truly Plum? i'm hoping they'll match my Plum 105F tank.
@ Anon 11:27 am I only tried on one 10 and even then I didn't rock my world. But thanks for the heads up, I'll remember that in the future.
@ Kristin - Shoot, I'm heading out of town on vacation early tomorrow am and won't be back till late Friday next week. I am planning on going to the store next weekend and I'd be happy to look then if you haven't had any luck between now and then. If you'd like to drop me a line with the details and so I can check with you on Saturday when I get home that would be fine.

Tried on the plum Skinny Wills... contrary to a lot of comments I've seen, I found them much more sheer than the hi-lo plum WUs. I love high-waisted pants and wen into the store thinking I'd swap my WUs for the Wills, but I ended up keeping the WUs. A little less compressive than I'd like, but not sheer and the colour is so great.
Also, I had initially gotten a pair of WUs without the logo. Showed the girls at the store and they swapped it for one without the logo, no problem.
LLA, could you pretty pretty please put up more photos of your new Work it Out Duffel? The photos online don't show where the inside pockets are (only close up photos) or how big etc. And I counted 5 "exterior" pockets; laptop pocket, two zip pockets at the front, one side pocket for the phone, what looks like an unzippered pocket for a phone near the handle and one long pocket at the back. Is this correct? I'm loving the look of the bag, but my store doesn't have any so I can't see for myself. I'd looooooove a new gym bag as mine is 5 years old and only has two zippered compartments!
Just got my half zip swiftly in the mail today. Still had tags on and already has a snag with a long pull :(. They are feeling kind of thin still IMO.
has anyone seen the skinny wills or plum pace setter in any new york city stores? thanks!!
I've had "Lulumares" before.
I picked up the Plum No Limit Tank and and pair of the Pique Will Pants today at my local store in Phoenix and LOVE both of them. I love the plum color. The pants are a bit long (I am 5'6'') but I still love the fit. I love the design and material the Pique pants are made of.
Takes a week. But at least shipping is free.
I tried on Plum hi/low WU vs. Skinny Wills in the same color. Hands down, get the Skinny Wills. More compression, thicker, almost not see thru.
Also bought the Plum Pace Setter. Definitely 4 way stretch, but the liner underneath is a bit see thru. Tried Midnight Iris Pace Setter too, and they are 2 way stretch. That Split Pea liner is soooo see thru, so I did not buy it.
Lastly, tried the Forme with Cuffins. The fabric is a joke. If you have ever owned a Define, the fabric on this new one feels half as thick. Like someone else on here remarked, I suspect it is the thin see thru Luon that was going to be used for pants, but then when Pantsgate happened, they must have been like, "Let's use this sucky material for some tops and hope that people don't notice." Wrong. We notice and are mad because Lulu tried to pull the wool over our eyes. It is just dishonest. If they are fixing the material for the pants, why don't they do the same for the jackets? Why did they bother "redesigning" it? Just bring back the Define! So sick of this.
Did the plum fluffin awesome vest really sell out in all sizes on the US site??
I have just been to Madison store in NYC and they had limited sizing of Pique skinny wills - i saw size 2,4, 10 ....I got mine, they are just fantastic, so thick and soft. They had a lot of new stuff at the Madison store - skinny wills in black, plum (bra, half zip, swifly), and the hyperstrype RFYL was all sold out in size 4 (the girl said they went fast) - it was still available in size 2,6,8 :( -- those were great too! They had sizzle raceback on sale for $29 (it was made in Canada and very soft).
They also had DSJ, rain jacket and vests.
It's funny, but the Swiftly equivalent I bought at Ivivva is thicker (and cheaper)than the Lulu Swiftlys. It feels a lot more durable and less likely to snag. Of course the sizing there is very limited to smaller people, so it's not a good option for everyone.
try on report!
pique skinny wills -- i loved them, but i passed on them. i wonder if this is something i will regret later on. i didn't love the high rise, and i have spent a LOT on lulu this month, so i didn't buy them. they are RIDICULOUSLY soft, though, and even at 5'4", i don't think i would have gotten them hemmed. the scrunched look is kind of cute, and comfortable, since it's not tight at the bottom. i went with my normal size (i am between a 2 and 4 and am usually a 4 except for things like studios or stills; i wear a 2 in most speeds, too), and i didn't feel the need to try my size-down size. i also wasn't crazy about the stripes. if they were that fabric, but a solid or heathered black or grey, i would not have been able to resist.
in the flow iis -- these, i bought. i really wanted WUs in plum, but i hate, hate, hate the high-lows. they do not look right on me at all (even the educator i was talking to said not to try them! love the honesty in my local store). i have never tried in the flows before, and really, really love them. compressive, soft, and the ruching at the sides is adorable. plum was not see through at all for me.
RFYL in the new stripe -- i'd tried on the rasglow/plum stripe a couple of weeks ago and couldn't pull the trigger (too loud for my taste), and even though the newer, darker stripe was sheer (whereas the rasglow wasn't!), i still bought them because i love the fit and the mesh and.. everything. i might bring them back. i need to ponder it.
swiftly half-zip -- i wanted it desperately in plum, but my store didn't have it in 4 (my usual swiftly size). i decided to try it in a 6, and it fit very well (slightly big under the arms, but not annoyingly so). i went to try on a 4 in a different color to make sure i wouldn't like it better, and i actually couldn't even get the sleeves up, too tight in the forearms. strange. the longsleeve in plum i tried in a 4 fit fine in the sleeves, just the half-zip was tight in the sleeves for me. so happily, i left with the 6 in plum!
i also grabbed the work it out duffel in midnight iris, but i'm waffling on this too. i want a new bag for dance (right now i just have all my stuff in a tote, but i'd like something 1) bigger (six inch heels take up a LOT of space), and 2) with a lot more pockets (water bottle, grip bottles). enough space for sweats/legwarmers wouldn't hurt either. it's just pricy, and i never carry a laptop with me, and i'm not DESPERATE, so i might hold out for something smaller/less expensive/that includes a better spot for a yoga mat (like a garage).
Hey LLA! Did you read this article yet? It's really interesting take on what's been going on behind the scenes at corporate Lulu. Lulumum posted it earlier on her blog, and it's worth a read. Incidentally, a poster from your blog is quoted in it (calling for Christine Day's head)--your blog was named in the article!
http://money.cnn.com/2013/08/29/leadership/lululemon-day-wilson.pr.fortune/index.html?iid=HP_River
due to LLA's comment I went "just to try on" Skinny Will Pique. 5 minutes later I am at the cash register with them. Most Amazing Pants Ever.
So I was at my local store that and they had a bunch of white CRBs that were reversible that are made in Canada. Didn't even know those were out right now. When I stopped by other stores on my way home, they had regular ones that were made in China. I've seen some reversible ones in the past but have the white ones been out for a while and I just didn't know? Any other colors???
@ anon 9:03 pm - thanks for the link, that is a great article. It's amazing for how off the rails last fall through this spring was, how "on" they are for this fall/winter so far. I really like full on luon and the power luxtreme being used in a lot of pieces. I really think they are turning things around. I mean, two Mondays in a row the ordering for the upload has crashed their system and sales of older stuff on ebay have slowed down. The analysts/stock holders may not see it but us ground-level people do.
@ anon 8:31 - thanks for the madison ave info - i plan to go today. i have the skinny wills in cocopique from last year but now that i've seen so many pics on line i think these might be different enough for me to try - i need a size 4 so i will keep my fingers crossed and may have to stalk several locations in nyc - i'm a size 4 so i would be sooo happy if they have them. i'm guessing they won't have the plum PS so i will have to order on the upload - of all my lulu pants the skinny will is my favorite - i have almost every color made (passed on the orange from earlier this year - see thru)- thanks again!!
Picked up a pair of the RFYL crops today. Run TTS at a size 6. Agreed on the awesome coverage - no sheerness despite the fact they are so light. Probably the most comfortable crops I've ever tried on. New favourites for sure. Hope they continue to come out with these crops in hyperstripe patterns - really love them. Paired them with the plum cool racerback. Had to size up to an 8 like others have said.
Absolutely baffled by the popularity of Will pants. I've never seen a photo where they flatter the wearer.
