New Karmady Short Sleeve burnout material top in Plum and City Pulse Pants.

Blue Moon Mod Waves tank and Raspberry Glo Swiftly paired with Sea Check plaid Speed Shorts. I got my Sea Check Groovy Run shorts the other day. They are my first pair of Groovy Run shorts and I really like them, maybe even more than the Track Attacks. Finding a coordinating tank with the plaid is kind of a challenge since I don't have any of the exact matching colors, however, I do have quite a few bright pinks which are close enough to look nice. I hope lululemon keeps releasing plaids. They are so fun.

Like this pairing a lot - Raspberry Glo Swiftly Tank and Plum Hyperstripe Run For Your Life Crops.

Plum Dance Studio Jacket, Blue Moon top, and Inkwell Inspire Crops.

Inkwell Studio Jacket, Blue Moon Cool Racerback and Plum In the Flow crops.

Dharana crop in Raspberry Glo.

Hustle and Bustle tank and Run For Your Life Crops. I tried this tank on the other day and thought it fit small through both the bust and hip. I would say it's a size up tank.

Soot Studio Jacket, Plum Studio Pants, and Midnight Iris tank.

Plum Studio Softshell

Hi LLA. I'm suprised your having trouble finding tops to pair with your new checked groovy runs. I find loads of colours work. From angel blue, heathered pink from ions ago, Raspberry glow/plum hyperstripe. Citrus shades, soot light, white....I got the shake and breaks in the check.

Did I miss out on the Inkwell Inspire Crops? I've only seen plum and solid black online.

@ anon 12:02 am - I should have been more clear - having trouble finding stuff from my own closet. I definitely plan on picking up a plum Cool Racerback when it comes out.

I agree with you, anon@12:02. I didn't even have to buy anything new to wear with my Fast Cat skirt in Sea Check. I had old Swiftlys in Paris Pink, a yellow I forget which one, it's so old, even Spry and Frond work, an old Run For All tank in Dazzle and a really old Nike and a really old Brooks tops that are lime green and plum work too. The plaid is so forgiving because of the variegated colors.

@LLA this is just my own opinion if course but so far I think pinkalicious and power purple look very pretty with my sea check speeds and groovy runs. If you have those Colors id give it a shot. I too cant wait for a plum crb power y and LS swiftly in plum.

The plum energy bra I bought yesterday looks really cute with the sea check!

@ anon 6:47 am Thanks!- power purple - good suggestion. I'll have to dig that one out of my closet. I have a spit pea somewhere in my closet, too, but couldn't lay hands on it the other day. Pinkelicious does look nice.

@ anon 6:55 am - I need to see if my stores got the Plum Energy. I definitely want one. I'm hoping they'll be uploaded tomorrow night.

Funny how people's minds work --- I took my Sea Check speeds on vacation with me last week & wore them pretty much constantly without a thought for what the top was. They just seem to look nice with just about every go-to colour I own. Plus, the race shirt for the tri I did was white with multicoloured triangles all over it... sort of like those shorts/skirts that came out for Sea Wheeze, but just in a cascade over part of the body... anyway people kept telling me that *then* I was well coordinated! :)

@arscarca - I'm sure I was over thinking what looks nice with the Sea Checks. I don't think any colors looks very "wrong" with them. ;-)

Can someone tell me if the sea check groovy run shorts are 2 way or 4way stretch? I LOVE the pairs I have that are 4 way but I keep pushing the 2 way stretch get pushed to the bottom of my pile. Really wish I had returned them but I love the blue color. Thanks! Laura

I think they are the two way since they are not super soft or super stretchy like solid black ones. I am new to the run shorts made of swift so not 100% sure of the distinction but pretty sure I got it right.

Thank you! One more question. Can you tell me which crops are paired with the blue moon tank in the pic with the sea check plaid groovy run shorts? I live in Houston so I typically run in shorts year round but it's nice to have crops for the chillier mornings. I'm fairly new new to lulu. The only time I bought a pair of crops I took them back because they were a little sheer in brighter lighting. Thanks for your input & love your blog.

@ Laura - I couldn't quite tell when I posted the photo so that is why they aren't identified. My educated guess would be Run For Your Life crops. I know the newest Inspires have been made of the thicker Power Luxtreme material but I haven't felt up the new black RFYL crops yet. I have two pair of the RFYL I bought last year and really like them - the waist is higher and the articulated knees are very comfortable. The text on the website says they are power luxtreme so I'd think they'd be thicker.

Beautiful Natarajasana! Sigh....one of these days (or in the next life...) the top of my head will nestle in the bottom of my foot. ;)

I love my RFYL crops. I'm really short (5') so I really like those and my Run a Marathon crops. They fit me without me looking like a stump. They are also TTS, which is nice.

I am also struggling with what to wear with the sea check. I have a Fast Cat Skirt and although a lot of colors work, I haven't loved anything yet. I am hoping for some plum in my favorite Lulu tops. Maybe then I will feel more put together.

That is a very beautiful yoga pose!

I wore my spry blue CRB with the sea check speeds and although it is not in the shorts its a very close match.

Also, I was in a store this weekend and the groovy run sea check shorts are two way stretch. I have two pair in the two way and my only dislike is that the liner shows through like a panty line and I hate panty lines!!!

Also - whoever asked about the inkwell inspires - I am fairly certain they have not been uploaded yet but stores have received them. I'm outside of Philadelphia and at least one of my stores had them and an ed said they flew off the shelves. I would love a pair! I've never had any inkwell bottoms and think they would be a great alternative to black. Hopefully they will be uploaded soon.

Is it just me or am I the only one that has CT issues with RFYL crops? Otherwise I love them! I ordered a pair of Dharana crops at 3:30am before heading off to work this morning ... good thing cuz I can't find them on the US or Can site 11 hours later!
